In other words what you mean by that seek God first. That's the first priority.

It's right there, that's a priority but notice what he says then a second discipline and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed metamorphosis by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is that which is good and acceptable and perfect is called the principle of transformation, but notice what it requires and that's why say take out the trash.

Do not be conformed to this world, how I do that require some discipline. One is someone have to stop listening to the world that could create conflict. I mean, think of the principles or values of the world and by the way, we all use them and we have in our past.

One of the greatest things you ever hear a teenager ever say everybody else is doing it knows that the principle of the world. If more people were doing it. That means it must be okay.

Is that true no no you gotta do whatever you can do to be popular. That's a good value or is it usually don't be conformed.

The world's images. The world values the shape you are that requires a certain amount of discipline I have it on your part. We have the grace of God we have the word of God. We have cultivated the habit of taking out the trash will allow the world the conformist. There is 1/3 habit put God first priority. Take out the trash.

Transformation do the dishes Genesis chapter 3 you know what's in Genesis leaves the fall. The first sin, Adam and Eve in verse eight, they heard a sound of the Lord God walking in the garden of the cool of the day and the man and his wife in them. So hit themselves in the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden and then the Lord God called to the man and said where are you and he said I heard the sound of you in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked so I hid myself.

He said, who told you were naked and viewing the tree which I commanded you not to eat. Now we know the answer. Going the answer is yes. I write now, here's where it begins.

Gotta do the dishes. The man said the woman whom you gave me wit me. She gave me a bout patiently God, the Lord God said to the woman.

Why is this what you have done in the woman the serpent deceived me do the dishes, simply means this whenever I got married one of things I was most thankful for. For all these years is that my wife always with the dishes we made dirty dishes. Then she I can't remember days getting up the next day and are dirty dishes in the sink counter. Joe was the dishes that she always wash clothes. There's never big piles of clothes close washed they get dirty now. What's interesting about that is you have to take responsibility see this take responsibility by what if you wheat your home, don't you dirty dishes so your responsibility is gotta clean up my and so notice what happens in this case, God says you said me no no no, the woman you gave me see it.

It's hope all the woman said not are not are not my Donna responsibility now think about our culture. You are the way you are because it's her parents full. It's her fault. You see, you can't. You gotta deal with the dishes and by the way. Eventually you do anyway.

I mean I don't care how many dirty dishes you create in the retiming run out of paper plates and run out of forks and spoons and then someone does the dishes or you basically assuming we are close. It is keep them up and you want a leisure suit in the 70s you have nothing else left it was somebody has to do the close. Somebody has to do the close boxes take responsibility. Cultivate the habit of confession regular honors confession just like doing the dishes. You gotta cultivated a regular basis.

You can't let it accumulate you can't put your dishes in somebody else's sink. That's a habit you have to develop before habit, put it in writing. Proverbs chapter 20 put God first. That's the principle priority.

Take out the trash.

That's the principle of transformation do the dishes. That's the principle of responsibility in Solomon's going to give us the fourth habit. Put it in writing. Have a plan.

Verse five Proverbs 20. Solomon says a plan in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding draws it out when ask you something. Have you ever made plans that you didn't follow through on what I think so just think right now in the next month how much exercise equipment is going to be bought an American know what to tell you.

Someone's got a plan right there gonna buy just like last year. And of course then by June Milby of the garage sale because what happened there was no plan. You see, if you say I really want to get fit. I really need to get fits on gonna buy exercise equipment. Does that make you fit.

You actually have to do the exercise. You see, you actually have to do something so consequently what he says here is a plan in the heart of a man is like deep water its way down there.

All I need I need need exercise help, but how many of you ever heard this run house I think will go to remodel and then you name a room and you heard that for the last decades my parents would go to remodel the basement.

My parents are in glory. One I worked on. I want to develop the habit of regular prayer that is field with thanksgiving night gave thanks but I really fill my prayer with thanksgiving. I had a lot more petition than I had Thanksgiving, but were asking so as I what I want do that I wrote that down and then I also wrote Don I want to develop the habit of telling people how much I appreciate them on a regular basis now.

I've told people that occasionally in the past, but not nearly enough. I wrote that down.

That's plan and now I just am accountable good. I just told you the people actually know now there's a sense of accountability. Hopefully we can draw this out receive. I don't look at that I forget about this when I was preparing flexor mamas we got little you know I need to do that more often, managers was gone. Deep down in the water way down.

I just put the plan in the beginning with Solomon is saying is you got drawn out.

You gotta have a sense of a planets can be some sense of accountability to it.

This is the whole idea of clarity, put God first priority. Take out the trash transformation.

Do the dishes responsibility put in writing clarity in the last one is found in Proverbs 24 and this is the most convicting.

Do something now to develop a good habit you gotta do something now. This is the principle of inertia in order principle is a body at rest. That's right. This has a tendency to stay at rest doesn't notice what Solomon right starting in verse 30 of Proverbs 24 he said I passed by the field of the sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man lacking sense.

Notice. Compare that when you talk about understanding draws out the plan uses and behold it was completely overgrown with thistles if surface was covered with nettles and Stonewall was broken down.

You see, there wasn't a sign up that said, with neon lights going around sluggard lives here with no sign like that.

But if you come to a place where a person is supposed be working the land, and you see that there are thorns and thistles weeds everywhere in the Walden supposed to get by the Romans, all broken Don, you got an idea. This is a sluggard you see that's what Solomon said he so when I looked at it, I thought he said so when I thought I reflected upon the Solomon always does and I love Denise and I received instruction from this. He said then your poverty will come as a robber and you want like an armed man you want to get nothing out alike. I can tell you do nothing when you want to get nothing. Just do nothing. That's the way it works. That's the way the real world is Solomon's and I learned something that you do something you gotta do it now. See lazy people leave a lot of evidence around that's what you're saying in lazy Christians are exactly the same way the live show it.

The walls are broken down there thistles and thorns everywhere in the life a little procrastination can do an awful lot of damage me think about this in ways that we've done it, meaning I'm always amazed and there's some kind of shopping mall you're here parent that propagates this principle I'm going to discipline you later this was to come later. Meanwhile, in the store chaos. You see there's going to be no the whole idea of discipline is that this one has to have a sense of meaning in it. Don't be the kind of person is that I need to develop better habit someday as we don't even know when somebody's coming over you and have somebody in our future God is saying is lucky. Gotta have developed better habits today.

I'm going to be the agent to develop this habit today so the five positive habits put God first take out the trash. Do the dishes put in writing and do something now. Good habits make great people. God supplies the grace you provide the habit of his grace will fill your habit. If your habit is positive, so like asking right time in writing for yourself this week. One bad habit that you God to do away with is gotta go do away with that habit.

Keep that with you and begin to pray about that idea. This is a habit. I've got a take out the trash.

I just got a deal with this and then look over the list of the five and say which one do I really need to cultivate first in my life. How can I do it because if you do. Paul said that discipline spiritual discipline good habits leads to godliness, and then he says that Timothy and godliness holds promise for the present life and the life to come. Victorious Christians think great thoughts, victorious Christians enjoy great moments.

Victorious Christians give great thanks to a great God and victorious Christians develop great habits whispering father in a way it's sobering to know that I am spiritually where my habits have led me that is not a matter of enough of your grace enough of your power, enough of your word enough of your spirit you provided that it's up to me to provide the habit.

Father I pray that for some of us we need to advocate seeking your first we have to make a first in our life. Everything else comes from their some of his father really need to deal with bad habits in our life.

We need to take out the trash so I was father need to take the responsibility for our lives, our shortcomings need to develop the habit of confession father. All of us simply all of us need to have a plan, just like an athlete does, we need to discipline ourselves, it has to be something that we hold ourselves accountable to have to do something now. Father, we know that these habits reflect knowing what's best for us.
