The Broken Family

Welcome to the worship and the word pastor in a series called blessed families, which is all about God's purpose and design for families pastor Robert explains God's design for and what living in God's blessing for your family. Looks like he's also going to talk about the secret to having a truly happy no matter where you I hope you enjoy this message. So let's get right series called blessed families, blessed families that I just won't say to you, no matter what your situation as well.

You're married same old widow divorce no matter what God's will to speak to you because really going to God's word but I will talk about the family. Mom talk about husbands and wives will talk about children. I want to talk about. I don't know how to say this correctly. I really praying the Lord gives me some inside only a small rental but grown children, but there will start with the broken family and the reason we have to start here is because we all came from a broken family.

Even if you came from a good Christian home, your parents were still broken even if they had a separate or divorce there broken were born broken because we all came from the first broken family which is adamantly God put Adam and Eve on this earth and there was something that happened when they fail, that affects you to this day. We all have biological DNA biological genetic characteristics. We all have that in our body.

The biological characteristics that we get from adamantly.

We also got some spiritual DNA from them some spiritual genetic characteristics that cause us to act and think a certain way.

We got that from the fall. So I will actually show you today. The three results of the fall when they felt what came in the mankind and what affects us even to this day that we need Jesus to help us with life so I make this statement even though there were only two people on the earth.

In Genesis 3 adamantly taken. I will came in Genesis 4 email literally to people on the safest way every person on the earth. I know that is only adamantly, but every personally earth before the fall was in a perfect relationship with God and each other and in just a few verses. Every person on earth was in a broken relationship with God and each other. That's what happened at fault.

So Genesis 3. Look at verse one now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God made a said to the woman, has God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree of the guard and the woman said to the serpent, we may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden daughter said you shall not eat, nor shall you touch it, lest you die, then the service in the woman you will not surely die.

Noticing completely misquotes God completely know you're not going by the contradiction, for God knows in the day you eat of it your eyes will be open and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food. Three things that she saw another one of those out in a little more detail in a moment that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree desirable to make one wise. Those three things, she took of its fruit and ate.

She also gave her husband with her just want you know Adam was right there beside her, while the devil was talking to his wife and never did anything about were so don't ever say them. Well you know the women as you were right there with her and he also all right now. Usually Scripture in order to go back to verse six, first John chapter 2 verse 16 for all that is in the world. Now watch these three things, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the ice and the pride of life is not of the father but is of the world that commit those to short-term memory, the less the flash lust of the eyes see got lust and boasting of flesh and eyes and the end product was blessed with less lust of the eyes and the pride of what I go back and look at verse six. Watch this sewing alone saw that the tree was good for food. That's the lust of the flesh that it was clear, pleasant to the eyes. That's the lust of the eyes, and that it was a tree desirable to make one wise.

That's the pride of life, say Satan doesn't have any new tricks and it's the same thing from Genesis all the way to first-round Revelation. This is one book so I just I just felt like I just I just had to point that out all right so what happened when Natalie fell 3 things entered the world when sin entered the world that still affect us. To this day is number one chain. Their first response. Once they had sin was shame. I would usually keep breaking so we stopped at verse six. Look at verse seven then the eyes of both of them were open. Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden and the Lord God told Adam and said, where are you sorry that I heard your voice in the garden.

I was afraid because the why do you fear because he had shame because I was naked and I hid myself and he said, who told you that you were naked by the way, the answer the questions. No one had to tell.

He had a realization of shame want to see in came the world.

Shame came in when sin came in the world meaningless. The very first thing they felt when sin came in they felt shame immediately and I'm sitting here reading this and will.

Who were they hiding from me. They were the only two people they'd already seen each other naked. The only other living things on the earth were animals were the monkeys pointing and laughing and I don't care if the dog sees me making you know some animal is just crazy thing here. Here's the point. They were hiding from God listing and each other but they were ashamed for the first time ever.

They were ashamed of their nakedness. I can remember when I grew up I was very skinny. Growing up I've overcome that. If you have a difficulty I can teach you how to front project in Bluebell take care of that the same Kauai so it's going so the point is I remember I remember I was always afraid that someone was going that some you can relate to this. I was afraid some of the walking when I was changing and see how skinny it was.

I don't know if any of you can never like that now will further walk itself out. I am but anyway different story. But there was a shame now not talking about a normal modesty that we should have but a shame that came with the fall and so they make themselves close to cover their shame going down verse 21. Watch what God does. Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them so they make for themselves something to cover but God didn't make something recovery temporarily obviously until the blood of Jesus, but I wanted thank you for this might be never thought that's what God made these himself. He made him from animal skin. Therefore he had to shed blood. The only thing that will cover shame. His blood but sickness is already a type in the shadow of a blood sacrifice of his son was going to make all the way back in Genesis chapter 3 this this shame this nakedness, this is this a success. Something that's in the natural. It's in the spiritual that's what I want you to pick up Outlook uglies versus and again the spiritual means Revelation 318 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire 90s not talking about gold.

By the way somebody's work is word is more precious than gold and silver cake that you may be rich now watch this and white garments, actual close watch that you may be close, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed, little pumps. Righteousness means right standing with God. The only thing I will take care of your CN and your shame just been a right standing right relationship with God and the only way you do that is through Jesus Christ.

But what we do. Many times is think if I can just overcome this if I can start living better if I quit falling you this and I won't have Shay you can do and we should live righteously. I'm not saying that we should. But I'm telling you that that won't take care of Shay.

The only thing that they scare.

Shame is Jesus Christ. That's it. Righteousness being deposited into your account. We also need to know this.

CN was taken out of every person's account in the world. When Jesus died on the cross he died for the whole world.

He died for the whole world revolving guns aren't taking care of your CN if you just believe in Jesus and he will deposit righteousness. His sons righteousness in your account. The problem I noticed is that since I've gotten saved I've still made mistakes. How many of you have, you know you lost your wall your topper roster cooler said things you should know sadder made some mistakes are done somehow done something that you should not of done since you got saved and Nancy ran every campus every campus put away all five people now look around at all the sailors to go to Gateway church take care stay, here's the reason I did that because Satan tells you that you're worse than anyone else and that you blown it and you know better, and you got the power of God. That's the only way you'll ever get over shame/diversity.

Amazing that we blame each other you hear hear something that blame only thing that this most the time will say this, it's not my fault or it's all my fault either one or both from the both from but were both trying to put blame some and this is result of the fall were at work why it's not my fault you don't understand or think about the family.

People living bitterness toward others and forgot which is what and it was her fault in your fault. You know my boss didn't promote me and God you like about this blessed life, but not limited so apparently something's wrong with me. It don't live with me. It's crazy to live a life clearly was blamed.

Let me explain something. They were blame comes from day it comes from a person namesake and there's another word for blame and it's called accuser.

Revelation 1210 then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven now salvation, and strength in the kingdom of our God and the power of this price that John or the accuser of our brethren obtain remove underline our accuser of our brethren, who accused them before God, our God day and night.

He never stops has been cast out so Satan is the accuser, but rather so I made that statement, lot. Satan is the accuser of the brethren for the first time in my life when studying viable long-term. I saw the word power this week when I was studying this message. Here's what I think that's important. The accuser of our brother before you accuse someone you need to remember that your brother are that your sister and you need to remember that when you accuse someone else you're actually acting like Satan. That is what Satan does.

Satan is the accuser of our brethren are brethren is too much accusation going on in the body price right now instead of love and forgiveness by so here's the third thing versus shame, but sectors Blaine Ingersoll third result of the fall thing thing. Now this is not want to be famous. It's wanting to be recognized one big knowledge. It's that insecurity that all of us have that we need someone to recognize us now really get down. Genesis 320 and Adam called Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living now. What you're probably thinking this was not so bad. But let's dive into this a little bit E by the lightning's life. So the mother of life.

Mother living okay so what what was wrong with this, we have to remember this is after the fall, Adam gives her this night God did not differ greatly.

Adam did but it was after the fault when Adam was seven before the fall which Genesis 2. The chapter ends with Adam saying to about Eve. This is bone of my boat and flesh of my flesh. You are you part of me. He says you're part of me you work together were one after the fall.

He says they made.

I follow your Eve, your mom said another way, he labeled her and he labeled her as separate and distinct from him, he said, your purpose is to bear my children.

Her name was not the dog did not name available know what her name was before, but I did.

Scripture tells us I want to read it in the old King James first and now Marina new King James because Nikki James translates that literally okay resulting James Genesis 52. It's recounting the creation may only female he created he them and bless them, bless families and called their name Adam, in the day they were created as to what is Adam being in the Hebrew it's a Dom. It does not mean man. People think it designates mankind. Genesis 52 in the new King James says he craved the male and female, and bless them and called them mankind in the day they were created. When you think about this. It says God makes the 21 and what God has joined together, let no man separate. But immediately, when sin came the world before Sam Adam says where one or one flesh, your bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh were one flesh as serious incomes in excess of your separate or different or separate from, and he labels her and says this is your purpose.

Ladies have been struggling with this for 6000 years since Adam did this is my only purpose to be a mother.

Now most ladies love you mom and there created to be great moments. They love it. But I'm here to tell you that's not your only purpose I like say something else to. That's actually not even your highest purpose or highest public limitation. While the ladies a plethora of race: first, yes, I told you I was finished but OJ would not have any more scope that I got that where I am now the joke was not in the notes, but it worked out well okay so so it's not your highest calling. I've actually said in like preaching on the family marriage. I sent our highest calling is to be a husband and father from human or highest calling is to be a wife and a mother.

I said that I don't believe that the exploits of your highest calling is not to be a husband and father. Your highest calling is to be a child, a child of God. And if you're good, child of God will be a good husband and father. If you're good, child of God, you will be a good wife Satan say that's a solid understanding that that was what I was also meditate. Need to know that every person has a conflict in every person has different dog licenses. There is no male and female in Christ. So why would you think Mr. husband is a calling from God and your calling just the life of this white some women's suffer from depression. When the kids are grown and without because it's like the purposes been fulfilled the callings over such appalling that first written says that God gives to each one. Gifts different from others but for the for the for the benefit of all.

But to each each year in each male or female. Your each. So every person has a gift and Paul God. You know what your purposes because that will fulfill you and what Adam did immediately. Was he labeled her and immediately there began to be. This competition and the separation between a husband and wife. That's why say we all came from a broken family that I stayed married when anybody else owner you know.

But there was a bright kid. You see this breaking link before the fall. Just go back great Genesis 2, three and forth before the fall Genesis to the very last part of it is that your bone of my bone, flesh public one flesh, and assumes the Falcons.
