When I saw the starburst he and they rejoice with exceedingly great joy. And when they come into the house. The house, not the stable base all the young child, not the baby with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshiped him, and when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to him gold, frankincense and myrrh and then being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way they so we know that these guys K to worship Jesus. I want to show you three things about their worship we can learn from right. Here's number one. It was expected. Worship. It was expected worship. In other words, they K expecting something to happen when they entered the presence of the king, they K expecting something they came about a thousand miles and I won't say some things about the wise man you've heard in the called the Magi. That's because that's the Greek word Magi, meaning the plural of Magi loss which is one but here's what it means. I don't want to burst your bubble on some things, but you have to understand they were from the East.

They were Jewish people at Magi's where we get our word magic they were magicians they were astronomers and astrologers. They were sorcerers probably was that the whole Magi.

The group of Magi that these particular man were probably believers. I will show you why I believe that but let me show you if you Scriptures about the Magi Daniel Tutu. Then the king gave the command to call the magicians the Magi the magicians they astrologers that's not astronomy that's astrologers and the sorcerers in the Chaldeans, to tell the King's dream. So these men came from a group called the Magi work which were magicians. Now don't be too hard on them because you have to think about that.

We were born with a hunger to know the supernatural. And so if you weren't a part of Israel and you didn't know about God and you're not even today, a believer, people have a hunger to know the supernatural. Some cultures they have, which doctors and their sorcery still to this day in fortune-telling and Horus goes yes we will have this desire. I believe these men had.

This is our mail update again some things about them and that's why. Also there were magicians in Egypt and when Moses went there magicians lite something about them that you might not know many theologians believe that they lament many historians believe this that Baylon that the king of Moab hired to curse Israel when they were coming through the wilderness of your member the heart Baylon because Baylon was a sorcerer, a magician he was someone to cast spells on people so processes over people name. I behold TM is prophesied under God spirit, but not near a star shall come out of Jacob, a scepter shall rise out of Israel. These persons go back to Baylon.

The first one because Moab remember was conquered by Persia, so when I study their history. They go back to Baylon. One of their profits and probably the founder of their organization and they find him that he can't curse Israel because of their God, and he actually blesses them any prophesies about a star he got a remember in the days of Esther. I was Persia that it taken over and they were going to kill Israel and God rescued through Mordechai and through Esther God rescued the Jewish people. So the Persians were studying the history.

I realize once again, the God of Israel rescued his people. I finally remembered Daniel when they in the Babylonian captivity. I was Persia I will Persians. Take the Bible could've just said they rejoiced that would've been the bar, they rejoiced.

But that's the word joy, they rejoiced with joy there that were great, they rejoiced with great joy. Then it adds word exceedingly, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

They express their worship and they fell down they failed and worship. Now this is not the word for being there about this is a very uncommon word in the New Testament in Greek literally means that literally means to fall down violently and be shattered. These men walked into a house, saw a toddler and fell down violently and they were shattered in his presence, and these were not unintelligent or socially unacceptable man. These were the wealthy intelligentsia of the day they collapsed you. It wouldn't be a bad idea if every now and then you collapsed in his presence.

And you were shattered. They fell down and they worship and you understand that one day every billionaire every ACS every college professor will fall down and worship you and express their love and this one is just a just a couple just a few scriptural expression so you know these are Pentecostal charismatic breathing.

These are scriptural expressions of worship Psalm 47 10, clap your hands all you people shout to God with the voice of triumph. Psalm 95 10, let us see the board let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95 or 60 come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our maker in Psalm 134 verse two lift up your hands in church in the sanctuary and bless the Lord, those are scriptural bows are scriptural expressions of what's in your heart and I understand I understand I grew up in a church where we didn't do that we would there still is, we could with hymnals in our hands and it was boring and we try to get there late as well, but normally all the back seats were taken when we got there like and then I walked into a church called Shady Grove church which is our Grand Prairie campus. Now people were shouting people were lifting her hands before dancing. I was during the praise and then when we entered in the worship people actually started kneeling. I've never seen that before. My people started getting on her knees in the presence of God. And I remember thinking honest, I was looking around I was, analyzing Juno and I thought many of these people are serious. This is sincere is obvious, talk to Lord I support this is good this is good. People actually kneeling before that I have element pressures like Lord suddenly what are you doing stamina for the first time ever I got on my knees and something happened to me. I could never go back to the other top worship service because I found out what it meant to express my love to God and not worry about what other people thought so is also expressive worship. Here's the third one extravagant worship, extravagant worship verse 11 when they come in the house, they saw the young child of Mary's mother, and fell down and worshiped him, and when they had opened their treasures really come back to that phrase they presented gifts to gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Now you know a few things.

First of all, these gifts had prophetic significance that they probably didn't know a thing in a moment why they offered these three gifts.

But gold represents what royalty frankincense represents divinity. Frank incense again since we offer your prayers you all for your prayers up to God giving sense and murder represents humanity. This was his humanity has divinity in his role is what they represent prophetically merge what you're going a dead body with. I've been thinking about something else. I've been distracted and just going to go through the song service or go through my quiet time and I don't bring my best. They brought their best and then he says this phrase which a lot of people never realize what this means. They opened their treasures cake in those days they were. They traveled with enough funds that if something happened that was unforeseen. They built to get home more than what they needed.

If they needed nine months.

Yet there nine months to get back 18 months. Most of the time the carrot about 36 months of financial aid with because I didn't know what might happen and it says they open the treasury.
