The Prophetic Test

Welcome to worship and the word with customer we've been working our way through Pastor Roberts from dream to destiny series and discussing character building test from the life of Joseph similar to him. We must also pass tests on the way toward dreams and God ordained desk well today Pastor Robert sharing about prophecy and how to respond to prophetic words spoken over us. This really is an eye-opening message so let's join Pastor Robert now were going through a series on the life of Joseph called dream to destiny God gave Joseph a dream every person, please hear me on this. Every person has a God given dream. God has a dream for your life and every person has a destiny, let me say that another way by destination. God has a destination in mind for you that you have to understand though, that when God speaks prophetically. There are some prophetic words that God speaks that are unconditional. In other words, it doesn't depend on land for these to come to pass, let me just say this. Whether you like it or not. Jesus is coming back. Whether you're ready or not Jesus is coming back.

That's a prophetic word that is not conditional upon your response. Yet there are many many many prophetic words that are conditioned upon our response. Many scriptures in the Bible and second Chronicles is one that is the just the whole three chapters of this if VN if the annual say that if my people, which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, VN, I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin will cleanser lamps. There are many things like that so we are now we've been talking about Joseph. God gave him a dream when he was 17 he stepped into that destiny when he was 38 really begin to fulfill that destiny and of more innocent authorities in his 40s and 50s.

So were talking about that and we talked about the pride test and the PIP test. The palace test the purity test the prison task were now. This week is the prophetic test the prophetic test.

In other words, God spoke a prophetic word over Joseph's life and then he was tested before that word came to pass, and that's what were doing right now. That's what were talking about. I want you to know God has spoken a prophetic word over your life. I promise you he has a destiny in mind for you but yet understand if God says this is the destination may give you another word for destiny destination.

Let me give you nightmares on word desire. This is God's desire for you. So he sets a path for you, but you need to know if you turn from that path. If you walk another way, are you even begin to walk away from God.

You will not arrive at the destiny God has for you, but you will arrive at another destination and that's one that Satan has for you is trying to get you off the path so this is the prophetic test and God speaks please understand, God does speak, God creates by speaking if he wants light he says, let there be light, he doesn't have to move his hands or anything. He just speaks that's way great. The Bible talks about the daughter spoken his word over each of us ever person he spoke a word over you.

So God has a destiny for you. God might say over you.

I want this person to be a fantastic mom and the teacher and an entrepreneur and he has a destiny for you, but you're going to attest right now were God's building and strengthening your character so that your character can support your destiny so again, you probably thought I go to Psalm 39 Psalm 37 through some 50s the story of Joseph, but were going to look at Joseph right here in Psalm 105 all right Psalm 105 verse 17, Psalm 105 or 17 he said a man before them.

It means spoken words something spoken will be a literal translation, something spoke up until the time spoke what was spoken over Joseph came to pass the word of the Lord tested him. That word is only used a few times. It is the word M raw and again if you study Hebrew. You'll notice word, it means the literal word of God. The literal word of God. We would use it to refer to the Scriptures. Matter fact. Several times he refers to the Torah and is it it even translated or talking about the poor, the literal word of God. It's only the Bible $0.37. So here's what this actually says listen this until the time that his prophetic word came to pass the literal word of God tested. Psalm 18 verse 30. As for God, his way is perfect.

I've hidden my heart that I might not sin against you. Until this prophetic word came to pass the word was testing him.

Listen to me carefully. This book is testing us right now. This book tests our character. This book will determine whether what was spoken over us comes pass now yet understand so many people think will wait a minute. If God speaks it wouldn't be the same as this word will talk about how a prophetic word has a little difference to it than the literal word of God. Now that word that Scripture Psalm 105 verse 19 I read it to you new King James which is the version I use but I want to read it to you in the new living translation because it really summarizes the entire series that ran Psalm 105 verse 19 in the new living translation says, until the time came to fulfill his dreams. The Lord tested Joseph's character until the time until the time came to fulfill his dreams.

The Lord tested Joseph's character. That is the synopsis of the whole series that William, God tests our faith with prophetic words he tests our character with the work God tests our faith with prophetic words. When he speaks will test our faith. But he tests our character with his literal word the literal word of God. So what's the difference between this and how do we say what we do. If you have a prophetic word of your life and by the way you do what you know it or not, what is the difference in what you do in your prophetic word. I don't say three things are right as number one. I submit my word to his word. I submit my word to his work.

Here's the difference between a prophetic word and the literal written word of God is there is only one difference only. Only one difference that human element and people siding all the time. The pastor said I have a word from God. Here's what I will say I have a word to any of your word doesn't line up with this word, you need to adjust your work. Does this words not adjusting. We don't adjust this word.

This word adjusts us we see through a glass dimly, first and fifth. Another part of our spring concert in first Corinthians 13 verse nine says for we know in part and we prophesy in part, we only partly prophesy but well let's just say this is everyone here that knows in full when the satellite is everyone here knows everything that no so since we don't know in full. We only know in part, we don't prophesy in full.

We prophesy in part. What prophetic words prophetic words are like pieces of a puzzle and we get a prophetic word without agreement, but is not the whole thing is not the whole loaf. Listen, there's another piece of bread government and so we can get. And then we begin to see the picture but we have to understand we only prophesy in part by many times I get I have a dream own.

I have a lot of dreams right before I wake up and it seems like right when I'm waking up and I have a dream and then I'll pray about that dream.

But every nearly every year there were there a few times when I eat too much and that'll get a good grade. It's not up some prophetic bleakness not prophetic, but all have a dream sometimes that's prophetic for the year and one time I had the strength and there was a pastor friend of mine that I knew driving the car and an evangelist for the mine sitting on this site not affected was Mark Job is one of the pastors on our staff. Now you spin evangelist's daughter's carriage about one of our worship answers so Mark is sitting here this, but the pastor sitting here and I knew in the dream that market just preached a message that this year was going to be a year of darkness, and the pastor said Mark I don't want to argue at all and all, but he said I really felt like God said to me that this year would be a year of light and marks a lot.

I would want to argue either and I respect you very very very much. I just really feel God sending me your darkness, and the pastor why I surely serve the one arguing I don't want to be disrespectful of the nicest in the dream they were there not that nice normally on what you know they were nice and and they were just so sweet. May Lord why just I just really got that. Like I thought… I really feel like that's it like I really like and and and I am the dream I said guys will sit. Don't you remember the night played in Egypt darkness covered the whole land, but the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. I said God is saying that this is going to be a year of darkness for those who don't believe in don't receive his word that is going to be a year of light. For those who walk in his work is pretty good okay so that's a dream I got income of that amount them not that smart. But I just it was and I woke up and I knew and I knew that's what darkness I now here's what we do you understand each other. Part HR parts but it sounds like the contradictory, but they're not and here's what we do. We hear a prophecy. This is going to be your darkness. We hear another prophecy. The Lord says is only to why what we did. I think this once the right word. I think I think it's going to be your flight instead of say like each has a part you probably we have to understand that every word that we receive every prophetic word every spoken word of God is submitted to the God of the word, every word of God is submitted to the God of the word.

This book defines what God is actually saying we have to understand that and we have to know that God speaks over us. But there is an EF and there's of the I want to make a strong statement here. I know people who will never fulfill their destiny unless they change some things because our lives in a lineup of word of God when we give you one example I know some people who will not fulfill their destiny because they will submit to authority. I know some people who will not fulfill their destiny because they won't get in the word for themselves. They listen everybody else, but they don't get in there, not people of the workday and whatever they quote take some are they hurt someone else. I know some people who will not fulfill their destiny because they won't type ML argue with about the just argue argue argue with the guy got very very clear on giving him putting him first in your life and and if you don't you're robbing from how in the world to the thief fulfill the destiny so illicitly very carefully.

I can tell you how many people I know of suffered shipwreck there out there off the wrong path and I gone the wrong way because are not submitted to the work in the prophecies now spoken over them not to come to pass, unless they come back and repent a split and then he says this. Have I delivered them to Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. Apparently rejecting the spoken word of God over your life is blasphemy's pretty amazing. I was looking through my files and I noticed a file on my computer that I had saved my daughter who is 20 now was 12 at the time and she excited because obviously for results to have her own computer.
