What's Next?

Hi this is breathing welcome to the Salvation Army's words of life. Welcome back to words of life. This is our final episode of our series, the postcode of the church and in this episode the panel and I discussed where we go from here. We really have been so as to sit around this with these people that are really seeking God's will for their lives each and every day in the movies they serve, and I been encouraged by the conversation as aforesaid.

This is the last time to have the kind of dialogue but I hope that it doesn't stop for you and for us. We talked about technology talk about challenges and we talked about opportunities. Will we be able to serve whether we were in the four walls of our building or not, but I think there's a theme that keeps coming up and you pointed out.

I know I talked about being depressed during this time you got multiple texts or people talking about maybe being empty or feeling an emptiness.

We, the Salvation Army has had an incredible opportunity to serve through emotional and spiritual care line that you treated like our normal disaster deployment were people were assigned to this answer the phones come alongside people looking for hope and you have an opportunity to serve in that capacity I think you have a story that we could all benefit from my it was an amazing opportunity and I happily every day in Chicago that he was someone who was lovely and he didn't know really talk to Lisa Collis every single day and talk to us and he just cared and we have a lot because it was just people looking for help and it took me back to serve in the Myrtle Beach area for five years and I got home, little Christmas applications fermented and he said my community needs. The Salvation Army okay how can I help you to help my neighbors need help and who else better to call to bring hope to my people, Salvation Army, and throughout this link the helpline that we have an evening with the people, services at our core and everything people just looking for some help. They need a word of encouragement they need to know someone cares somebody something bigger than this. To be mindful of this is very vague and that the church is to continue to grow those obviously coming to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior call as well and when we think about Québec into the church when were saying you can come back in. I think we decided creative way and be intentional word intentional about continuing that engagement not give up and bring them through.

Not only are selling the salvation process and helping him do that through the discipleship process will support that and share the word with them and help them figure spiritual journey and not just say the word of God with love. How can we really continue to engage in the discipleship process thinking people have something to do there more apt to stay engaged and lose you so that opportunity by getting her shoulders and get your members engaged. But God can use it for good.
