Prayers for the Church in 2020

Welcome back everybody and I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Say welcome to our listeners. Chris Benjamin hello everyone, I hope you had a good Christmas who's joining us in our studio here in Atlanta, Georgia, where we can't really complain about being too cold and never really gets too cold.

We don't really see snow and ice in Atlanta. But if we do, and all of my northern United States friends will laugh at me.

If there's even a hint, we will close this building immediately sets out Atlanta for a little bit it becomes Armageddon in the city.

It really has been a good year and we've got so much to share with you in the episodes to come but Chris welcome back and thanks for this advent series that you really help us put together a it was not around. I was just excited that we were able to pull this together in the way that I felt that the Lord was directing and we know that because we honored that that we believe that this is a huge impact in someone's life out there, but in this last episode of the series. We course New Year's is just right around the corner so we asked if he wanted to just discussing a looking at the 2020. What do you see for yourself or your prayers for your own life and the more your prayers for the church as a whole.

So I love Giovanni Keeps Referring to This Year As Her Year of Jubilee and Halla and so I Just Had to Look up Biblically with Your Jubilee Was in According to the Book of Leviticus, the Year of Jubilee Was Took Place at the End of Seven Cycles of Sabbatical Years, Getting All but in This Year. Hebrew Slaves and Prisoners Will Be Set Free Debts Will Be Forgiven and the Mercies of God Would Be Particularly Manifest so This Is Just a Year of Just Grace and and Just Outpouring out Financially and so All That Being Said, You Know I'm Claiming This My Your Jubilee As Well. Funny Enough, I Will Actually in 2020 Finally Be Out Of Student Debt While Also Congratulated His Already Is My Usually Listen. Thank You Again for All Your Work, Particularly This Year on Wonderful Words of Life and for This Series That We Just Finished We Do Start a New Series Next Week.

Why Don't We Just Turn Back to the Gospel. We Get so Distracted by Everything Else.

Not Saying Different Programs Aren't Great but Let's Just Get Back to the Gospel Back to Yes Just Jesus Literally Get Walk with Jesus. Show Others What Would Jesus You Know Anything More Than That Will Be Writing about the Organization That Specific Person Is about RD Jesus Asked That Charges That We Will Be Coming Back to Jesus Prayer for the Army As I Will Remember His People, We Remember We Are Now.

That Will Be like Physically Strict a Way That Will Be Emotionally Stripped Away, and We Will Only Be in 2020, and This Was in Our Audio We Borrowed It from Someone Else Were Doing Little Prayer Initiative Where during the Year 2020, Were Asking Soldiers of the Salvation Army Members of Our Congregation to Spend 20 Minutes in Prayer on the 20th of Each Month and We Have a Devotional That Will Go with That Time There Were Asking That All Soldiers Christians around the World Come Together for 20 Minutes. Once during the Year 2020 and Just Pray for Our Church. There Are Certainly Other Things That We Should Be Praying for 2020 We Should Certainly Be Part of Our Country. We Have an Important Election.

There so Many Things but but Got Just Really Put It on My Heart to Ask People to Pray for Our Church in 2020. Think If We Were Just Talking about the Salvation Army We Have a Huge Opportunity to Encourage the Troops June Start a Fire or Maybe Stoke the Fire with the Congress Coming Just Praying for Sanctified Imagination's Know That People Can Get Something from That and Just Let the Imagination Go and Then Returned to Their Communities, Turn up the Heat for the Kingdom to Be Great I'm Looking for the Prayer for the Church with Just Really Just Saying Recognize the Marginalized People to Recognize and Marginalize People Planting Seeds. I Went to Lunch Today with an Officer Friend Rob Will Be Rob Berger When They Fine Dining Is This Young Woman Delivered the Two Plates to the House and Rob Will Break and We Pray for You and She Looked at Him with This Summer Uniform on for Peace, so He Made a Very Quick Prayer to Pray for Peace for Our Waitress Just I Think That's Really Cool Work Everywhere You Go with Everyone That You Crossed but in That Moment, Rob Just Talking on How We Connect. I Wanted to. This Leaving Some This Is for Me Personally, As Well As If I Put My Official On What I Look for for Our Army. II Would Look for 2020 to Be an Unquestioned Yes Year. Whatever It Is That the Lord Asks. Yes, It's a Hard Thing to Do but Whatever It Is That You're Asking. The Answer Is Yes Just Give Me the Details. Whatever It Is You Want the Answer Is Yes Where You like Me to Go Answer Is Yes. Whoever You Want Me to Speak to the Answer Is Yes, Lord. It's Inconvenient, I Understand, but Is There Yes in There Somewhere. I Would like This to Be a Yes Year. That Doesn't Preclude the Unpleasant Stuff.

It Can Happen Any Year but the Lord Leads Us through That to Make Us Who He Wants Us to Be Too Many Times in My Own Life. It's Yes but or Yes Later or You Can Get Back to You. I'd like Us to Be. Yes, People in the Good Sense of That Phrase That's a Tough That's a Tall Order but We Serve the Lord Tells Us That the Very Spirit That Raised Christ from the Dead Is within Us. So I'm Thinking That Yes Is within Our Think like You Said like People in Jesus Right Walk like I like One Thing I Love about My Dad Is Opportunity to Create Relations Constantly Get to Meet New People, New People Walking in the Building.

My Job Every Day.

We Think That Jesus, I'm Studying Time Right Now.

One of My Hopes and Studying John and Seeing How Jesus Lived and Walked Me Something Lord Exemplified in Now and so I Think My Prayers Is. Let's Wake up the Church and People You Know That the Call to Yeah like Challenge the Church Leaders.

The Pastors in Their People's of Leadership to Go You Feed Do We Know the Word You Know You Minister When You Don't Have Anything to Pour out You like for Ministry so That You Can Get Right with the Holy Spirit Lead People down the Wrong People Astray Yeah Because What Are You Even 2020 2020 in Our Prayers. We Thank You for the Opportunity to Have You in the Home and to Share a Little Bit of Christmas We Provide Us with Food. Well, but I Really Honestly Sincerely Believe That God Has Brought Us All to This Table for a Reason and the Things That We Share with Each Other Encouragement That I Hope That We've Given to Each Other Will Help Others Who May Be Going through the Same Experiences That We've Been through and out and I Have To Believe That There Are People Who Are Listening to This Program Who Needed to Hear. This Is the Year of the Yes Who Needed Encouragement Who Needed to Know That Christ Walked on This Earth Came for Them in the Salvation Army's Mission Doing the Most Good Means Helping People with Material and Spiritual Needs.
