The fatherhood of Israel with the fatherhood of the Gentiles, and of Christians and so were to start tonight in Malachi chapter 2 in the second part of it will be like taking a look at the duties of fathers toward their children were going to take a look at that and see the house where God teaches love instruction, guidance and warnings chastisement and and of course the family and as we go through this will start tonight in Malachi chapter 2 and have we not all one father verse 10 has not one God created us when we deal treacherously every man against his brother by profaning the covenant of our fathers Judah have dealt treacherously and then the abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem for Judah have not profaned the holiness. Judah have profaned the holiness of the Lord, which he loved and have married the daughter of a strange God, the Lord will cut off the man that does this, the master and the scholar out of the tabernacles of Jacob and him that offered an offering unto the Lord of hosts in this. Now here we want to take a look at the fatherhood of Christians and so we go over to John chapter 1 and one back okay John chapter 1 starting with verses 12 and and actually 10 through 14 he was in the world and the world was made by him in the world knew him not. With as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name, which were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor the will of man, but of God and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory is the glory of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. John bear witness of him and cried, saying, this was he of whom I spake, he that cometh after me is preferred before me know here.
