The title of the message was for such a time as this and were going to start tonight and Esther chapter 4 and read verses 10 through 17 folks. It's a as we go through this one to see that God has raised us up your fear today. If you're a believer and you are alive today at this time then here you are required to do service for the Lord, you are to be a doer of the word is a doer of the word and not just a hearer only and so let's take a look at some of those times of the pastors as those that were doers of the word and we start and Esther chapter 4 verse 10 again Esther spake into had taken gave him commandment under Mordechai Mordechai witnesses Mordechai said in the gate. That means he was involved in the king's government. He was involved in the Kings government wealth.

There were some other there. Two of the kings chamberlains. In fact, break in and cherish. World War II had planning on assassinating the king and here Mordechai heard that and and here where he says that those who which kept the door were Roth sought to lay hands and came as a result of hazardous and the thing was known to Mordechai who told him to Esther the queen and Esther certify the king thereof, and Mordechai's name and when the acquisition was made of the matter. He wanted to for people to bow down to him and that's what he cared about and Mordechai refused to bow down to him because Mordechai was was only allowed to bow down to God and was not not to bow down to any anyone or any of anything in the articles and so here as we go through this and would we take a look at this very very corrupt politician.

Haman, we pick it up in verse 10 again Esther spake into a tick and gave him commandment to Mordechai and all the cancer was of the people against problems. The name Jew actually carried with it the connotation of being one who worship Yahweh. So by just being a unit when he was saying that Mordechai says we will be delivered from another place that the deliverance will rise to the Jews that other place had to be God because these were God's children chosen children with thou and my father's house shall be destroyed no with weather the Lord come to the kingdom for such a time as this. So Mordechai told Esther if you if you fail to go in and petition and and speak on behalf of of the Jews and try to keep us from annihilation. Don't think that you'll escape either U2 and your family, your father's house also will be destroyed now that Esther bade them to return to Mordechai with this answer. Go gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan and fasting for me and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I also my mains will fast. Likewise, and so will I go into the king, which is not according to the law and if I perish, I perish. So Mordechai went his way and did according to all that Esther had commanded will hear Esther, who worship God became a queen we see that in the Hebrew text God's existence and his power over the affairs of men are assumed of these are what we read in this book hear a God behind the scenes and Esther so here we see that in chapter 4 verse 16. Fasting was a distinct spiritual activity that was always connected with prayer and here we see them in the chapter 2 verses 21 through 23 that Mordechai overhears a death plot saves the king's life in 61, we see that the king can't sleep decides to read a history book. That's when he discovered what what was written about that that Mordechai had that he reminded him that Mordechai had saved his life.

Next reason read the exact page needed to in a moment to remind him of the unpaid reward to Mordechai that Haman's plan is exactly reverse. Remember Haman had intended because Mordechai would not bow down to him. So Haman now that he was second-in-command had a gallows built to hang Mordechai and his whole family. But what happened was when the king had caught more payment. Haman had come, and he was begging Esther to speak to the king on his behalf and spare him and so the king comes in and and morning and I'm Haman is down and the queen was lying in her bed and Mordechai or Haman was was bending down, begging her over the bed.

When the king came in and saw him at her bed. That was all he needed, and so he had Haman and his whole family put to death. So here I'm going to want to go to Ecclesiastes chapter 3, but the point was, this is Mordechai had made the point that who knows. Another words when he said that you were raised up for such a time as this. All of us folks all of us are raised up for such a time. There's we all have a purpose. In fact, will find that out when we go to Ecclesiastes chapter 3 and Ecclesiastes chapter 3 at the cat that I get it. But anyhow, so we pick it up here and he says the time to heal. A time to break down in time to build up a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance the time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing the time to get the time to lose a time to keep and a time to cast away time to render the time to so time to keep silence and a time to speak. Time to love and a time to hate. A time of war. In a time of peace and so here now there is only one thing the folks that we can completely trust and that we can trust in its truth. We can trust in its accuracy and that the current word of God is this Bible right in front of me and the times that were living. There's just one thing that we can completely can totally trust them. We see history being played out and replayed all around us. We know that like those before us that met the challenge bought our freedom with their blood.

We to folks who must preserve that which is so dear severe price was paid by the shedding of blood of those that went before us and wars for the funding of the nation and we need to do that for our children and grandchildren. He says I know that there is no good in them before man to rejoice and to do good in his life and also the that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor. It is the gift of God, you know, we often take the blessings we were talking about that today and praise and worship. We often take blessings for granted like for example like is just all of the blessings we have is something that we just deserve minutes is not folks I know that there are people out there that say well you know I've earned what I have. God then provides no no no no don't make such a stupid statement you you exist by God and so your kept alive by God here in America elite.

We are used so many of us are used to high living standards. It's like where we have a roof over our head because we deserve. We have close Utterback we have food we don't have to worry about will tomorrow be the day I get some data will have to wait for the next day before and get something to eat. We have all of this food and it's out there.

We have access to this and it's really not because we deserve it.

There many many people in this world. Believe me, that are much more worthy much more worthy of the blessings that we have the we are and we often pray to that extent.

Whenever we ask a blessing over the food we talked about how we realize that there are many people that have that have never had one.

One mill of clean food in their life they never had one good meal clean food on it had to had to struggle to find clean water.

There many people out there that were never ever had a roof over their head that had to live wherever they can find shelter there many people out of the never owned a pair shoes folks and yet we have we have all of these things in abundance. But as we pray, we always remember that God has said to those to whom much is given much is required in this way, when we pray we ask God to do use us to bless others. All it was a beta price for Adam's failure because he listened to his wife and not God. Abraham, he listened to Sarah and not God got it.
