Best-selling author, speaker and advocate for Christian apologetics Dr. Alex McFarland, best-selling author and apologist Dylan Burroughs together bringing you truths for a new generation. This is TMG radio truth. Regeneration radio is on our volunteer with Dylan Burroughs and folks I'm so excited. So excited about voice you're here in the guesser going to meet today because it will live in a time where there's a great clash of old part of what we do in our advanced publishing, broadcasting is try to talk about God and country, and the truth of what makes this nation great and the Christian foundations that frankly eroding for decades and the guess that we want to bring you somebody that I'm just so profoundly interested in Stacy Washington is the host of a nationally syndicated show call Stacy on the right. She has been on Fox news FOXBusiness seen in the blaze Huffington Post to me she is out there. She's a voice truth in our culture very relevant very much needed voice and I like on her bio on her website assist Christian wife, mom, Army brat Air Force that Emmy nominated TV chick and radio host and Stacy tells little bit about the show that you do on American family radio daily of the Stacy on the right shut about context and culture back to Christian radio fell out of fabric of encouragement where we unpack the Bible over and we talked about how it applies to us today because I'm some kind. I think when what we left out on political talk radio at the fact that people are dealing with a lot of issues without the reason why he thought that Americans don't participate in our political process because it sounds like one big backup problem and if you have a regular everyday life. You're married with kids are single and working in whatever situation or problem. You need an additional one to be something that you now have to figure out what I like you and felt we do and it does show is very informative. We talk about the issues and talk about everyday politics at play on yell of both sides of the political spectrum and we talk about what they are talking about because these are things that really do impact that the taxes the regulation belt and a foreign-policy copy things out and practice on a daily basis have encouragement by constricting the word of God but apply and sometimes it how do we talk to each other truthfully and live about the fact that one of the things that we as Americans are so good at it.

Alex, how's it going, I'd like you to come over to help my house tonight looking to the blue lemon liking thing in your thinking what what you want to say is thinking I can't because I'm at the library tonight or something. When the truth is Christian. We can sandwich at a kindly and gently interested in Lululemon ligands because I'm a man, and so I want to make it tonight but I hope it goes really well for you little comment and stuff like that and also how to pray for our leaders how to pray for the local situation that we have the local politics is just as important balance that all of our days, minutes, hours, because the time is short. We cannot get any time back that we wasted and God really will hold us accountable for what went down a dark time and so we have to prioritize and first put them first get things first things first get things in proper order and then when we do that we can find the time to maybe voting or maybe you know going to the website, Congress.com type in your ZIP Code and getting that information for congresspeople to call them about something like for instance the Cadillac tax which on that excise tax of 40%. You know it's going to be the entire employer-based market will come under this tax in 2020 175 million Americans received their health insurance is a part of their negotiated benefits with employee and every plan so it's supposed to only impact the rich, but it really impact many man families like mine and your so many people that we know everyone we interact with and so not only is it a misnomer. Not only is a lot of talk with you that it only impacts the rich but it's something that employers because they have to plan five years I have are already reducing benefits and increasing cop to accommodate the impending implementation 2020 and what were hoping people will do all that, my name is Sgt. Annika read the article that I wrote about.

Let's clap the Cadillac tax for American campaign money and lives.

And then you go, Congress.com type in your ZIP Code, call your congressional question.

It really doesn't matter if you call, you don't convince a person to answer that person will hear your your name address to make sure you're calling the right senator or the white congressperson and then log back call and make tracks out on a weekly basis and south your question when you get a hunter called the Cadillac tax that would become a priority for them because every call represents so many thousands of constituents depending on the other districts I am one who preserves the repeal of the forts implemented in 2020. We had a pretty good chance and the reason why I would encourage it because the president and his foot on that farm talkative to congressional reporters, just that you know what would be great if this might save money with skilled individual and the president said, let the belt were able to push back on think the individual mandate wireless primary funding source for Obama care people get them out for something with their own constituent take. So they were able to get that tax advice many individual mandate only instead of forcing you to buy something that you have something good let me take that 40%. I'm not unheard of, even for high Federal government a 40% tax on anything major basically out to destroy. So you know what we can get this repeal. I think we had a really good shape. How did you come to the political and spiritual positions that you hold to damage your black conservative which is fairly rare that quick story as I was a stay-at-home mom for years. We have three children and one night when we went down to the suburbs To go to public school. I started volunteering on what we call the diversity committee because I wanted to see exactly what they thought they'd be doing an elementary school and we ended up doing some amazing things math programs and business Testing work to close the achievement gap and through that and that volunteering districtwide on a strategic planning committee were interacted with board members. They had a board member. Levi became dead replacement for heard kind of FLN interim appointment to see Quan and I was devastated a lot of 450 both friend asked me to come out and speak at a tea party under the arch event were Dick Morris and Roy Blunt before he was in a senator and a bunch of others.

Really famous people were there like me.

So I went up to 4500 people about the genocide that is abortion in America today and without going into a little bit of a volunteer position at another organization for black evidence and through that job down to the radio to talk again about black genocide and abortion of Planned Parenthood that turned into a weekly radio spot to a weekly radio show which year and month ago turned into a daily syndicated radio show all of the same name contingent small Christians would like to become more effective in presenting and doing the things you believe this is Alex, my firm and not the addition of truth for a new generation evidence. PNG is coming to Greensburg Carolina March 2024. Amazing line of Josh McDowell apologist Jay Warner Wallace, Lorne Greene and Tom Starnes both from Fox news and much much more. This is Abraham Hamilton, the third of the American family.

Our country is falling apart, political unrest, social upheaval, the breakdown of the family. The rise of atheism.

The rise of Islam or religious freedoms are under attack their gender fluidity gender identity is making a mess of freedom of expression. So we need to put some skin in the game love this nation. As Christians we are to stand strong. There has to be some personal investment in the living out in the preservation of stand strong American is that you face help you become a champion champion for Christ.

Stand strong American Jason Jimenez and I lay out the facts about our nation's current condition and how you yes you will. Family community can be involved in seeking this greater public stand strong America is a guide for encouraging Christian Rose Stacy Walsh and Stacy through something you want to response years ago so you things would come up about race or culture or state you know American politics. I wanted to make sure that I was very familiar with the writings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. so I read everything I could get my hands on and I read the 1963 Pulitzer prize-winning work why we can't wait which I have fallen in love with the book but in the book Dr. King. It was really kind of his manifest of the civil rights movement thoroughly Christian book Christianity just permeates every page of that work for Dr. King says essentially that moving forward, the, the African-Americans had to take care as he said that they did not become beholden to any one political party that he felt like and Hughes were disastrous. It would be disastrous if black Americans became just beholden to one political party, but to a large degree that that's what happened for many years wasn't sure we have a huge responsibility to really cannot think that on and to understand what he meant and to understand and contextually felt we talked about Martin Luther King being alive in a different era of our history of the nation and really if you look at the advancement that secular movement that want to change the definition of marriage that I want to add this type without those activist groups have made a different America so the things that he said protect them in contact and you can't say I won't looking. What about black lives matter, I don't think you what you can say you would've really want anything other than what he sat with his wife and four beaches read his written word and understand what he was doing and why he was doing it and don't add anything to it on think it's important to consider the fact that he was actually a creature not black liberation theology, peach creature, not someone who believed in social justice other than the fact that all Americans should have access to the same services are complex and that we should live in harmony together. Punctuate not because the government is forcing us to sell. I love historian I think it's weird because I'm looking thing that led to many things I seen so many things of course going opulent had things we did in school, but this Sunday.

Our pastor had a montage of the bunch of different images and it was voiceover my mind with the King hit his his words were spoken over the images that we found the screens that the first time I've ever been to something where things were shown of mine was looking like felt like tearing up and I just checked Patricia's roll down my face.

I don't know what happened in that moment, I just got some kind of interior and in the end. Part of me as a black person never get up and say Alex to say what an identity today because I'm black.

I never do that except that we led no one went that way. But in today's America subdivided NC people looking at each other with senior or discussed or separation in the Midwest where people are pretty friendly. Not like the South, but it's currently people don't chat as much in the line at the grocery store anymore. People don't just acknowledgment when you're walking by someone when you just make eye contact, and you have not her smile that is left of that and I really think that the success of getting us to see each other just what we see on the outside blow to our culture is such a view out to the American and so you know I wish people would consider themselves better.

Thanks. Thank you Washington black American, whatever months and every one of us is the thread and were all the all the thread come together to make up the flat slider United States career. I'm not into worshiping the country. I believe God and God alone. But when you think of it that way if you just think what all thread and think about what happened that I reach out and I say you're a racist.

Taking a little red riding cutting your threat now without holding her every one of us that everything is become hyper politicized. We are a list civil Lewis Lewis gregariousness from the people want. We have to be can be changed negative view (I don't feel the sadness because I think can't be changed but it feels like were losing something and you know the whole thing about being an American. As you can find American anywhere and I don't back it up. I grew up in Germany and there's something in the American water in the American experience in the fact that we have a Constitution. We have like we know them from God and inalienable rights not right given to us by the government. But like protected by the government or something about us that is different from German Saudi Arabians from the French from the breadth. It's amazing there's a quality about us.

That's different and I believe that from being a Christian nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles that we have a specialty sensation at an anointing a blessing. The hand of God fell on this nation felt no we need to announce that we need to return back to our source for trying to function without ever debunking any water. We know where the water is we can see it's free.

We can get a glass of it if we needed but were trying to function without it we need to go back to the source and for those who are Christians you know.

God bless you. But for those of us who are we the plug-in as hard as we can and player targets for our country right now on because we can never relent in his mercy he never said okay you're just too far gone to allow judgment, not at the moment we say okay we repent we understand she's right there to forget about Doris so just just pure Christian devote yourself to praying for our country and for your community or family whatever is on your heart.

You devote yourself will I want to see Stacy on the right and it's still just like some Stacy SJC while on right great blog site lot of your there and no Thanksgiving on the radio and following you doing this is not attention all Christians believe that America needs spiritual revival awakening a message of the gospel for our times this is Alex McFarland encouraging you to attend the 2018 addition of truth for new generation Z conference on apologetics worldview and evidence for the Christian faith, Greensboro, North Carolina, March 23 and 24th. Welcome back to generation radio shortly after Constitution convention infringement Franklin's good, it would be disastrous if we ever move from a unified Republic quote doses of squabbling factions in the high Alex from you doing Burroughs and you know Dylan all we are is so the motto says one nation under God. We America but yet politically, socially, oftentimes spiritually, we are many squabbling factions are we sometimes in our country only certainly are and we look at how that compares a scripture and that's not how we as believers are intended to be. You were told to let no unwholesome word come out of her mouth and we think of that verse. In the context of our political sphere today in the social media that we communicate in the doesn't always line up does it so we have some room to improve it at the same time we look at examples of God is working through people like Stacy Washington that we just spoke with and she has an incredible testimony. She has incredible perspective of how God's word applies to today's issues and some great recommendations for what we can do in our own lives. I don't know about you but I was very encouraged to hear what she's been doing and how that is been blessing.

We want to see the gospel spread in the United States of America. If you want to see this nation preserved in the gospel spread in the church strengthened about helping us and all donations are tax-deductible. They will be gratefully received faithfully fruitfully handled. She can donate online@truthfornewgeneration.com or Alex McFarland.com but Dylan on that with a little bit of time thinking about a quote by Pres. John F. Kennedy in 1961 January 20, 1961 in his inaugural address, JFK said, quote the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God" by Harry Truman said the fundamental basis of our nation's laws was given to Moses on the melt hose… Pres. Harry Truman in February 1950 he said that if we don't have the proper moral foundation. We will end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anyone except the states that he went on and he said the Bill of Rights comes from the teachings of Exodus and St. Matthew, Isaiah and St. Paul. Think about it folks. Pres. Harry Truman said that the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, the declaration drawn from Moses on the mount Exodus 20 the 10 Commandments.

Matthew, Isaiah, and Paul, and he went on and he said if we don't understand this and understand that our rights come from God. Ultimately, it will be statism leaving that the rights or belonging to the state, not the populace.

So Dylan were called to preach the gospel. I know, but it's important to understand what a great gift.

We've been given in having a Christian America where we have religious freedom and the ability the liberty to spread this gospel and that's that's gotta be preserved does not will certainly think people under estimate or under appreciate the blessings that we have, but I know personally if you go to another country very quickly realize what you taken for granted for so many years. For example, if you were to go to many Western European nations you receive this privatization of religion where there's a strict separation between your faith and the rest of your life. People tend to still be religious but only on a personal level, you're not encouraged to talk about in public go to other countries such as China where there's some persecution against Christians or to North Korea, which is considered the most persecuted nation against Christians in the world today, you would very quickly greatly appreciate the religious freedom that you have today. So when you look in comparison with the rest of the world. We are blessed be on comparison and our ability to publicly worship the Lord to seek freely on the airwaves and on television on on the Internet about the things we believe, and with that blessing comes a responsibility that we are not only given the opportunity to do so, but a responsibility to communicate spiritual truth in the best ways that we can through our lives into the words we speak to make a difference in the lives of those around us you know in two of the books that are God's wildest to write one is called 10 issues that divide Christians and the other stand strong for miracle we talk about the fact that God and government are intertwined. Thomas Jefferson 1781 in his notes on the state of Virginia. Jefferson's is often times, the poster child for liberalism, but they've got Jefferson wrong in so many ways. He wrote this this question. Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when you have removed their only firm basis of conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God." Dylan one last quote in the were running out of time, but Eisenhower Dwight Eisenhower when he was president said this quote, the founding fathers had to refer to the creator in order to make the revolutionary experiment makes sense was because all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, Eisenhower says that men could dare to be free to listen to this. Folks, Pres. Eisenhower said, quote the founding fathers had to refer to a creator in order to make their revolutionary experiment make sense. What is that mean without God you don't have objective moral truth without objective moral truth, you can't say that there are inalienable rights that can't be taken away.

It's without God, without morality, without truth without a ethical compass that we look to it, it ultimately becomes might makes right and everybody's future. Everybody's freedom is jeopardized. That's why we plead that you number one know Christ as your Savior number to place your calling for citizenship to be salt and light in the culture that may be for another two centuries God will allow America to be this beacon of hope.
