Dr. John H. Munro March 26, 2017 Revelation 17 In Scripture Babylon refers not only to a specific city, but to a system which is anti-God. Dating back to Nebuchadnezzar and the Tower of Babel, the spirit of Babylon is rebellious and defiant. In Revelation, it becomes a false church and global religion.

Swearing in our series of Revelation, we come to Revelation chapter 17.

And as we come to Revelation 17 were almost almost at the return of our Lord Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of lords, and I know that if you're a follower of Christ are anxious to get into chapter 19 but were not quite there. Last week we learned of the final series of judgments that God is going to report on this earth, seven bowls containing seven plagues poured out on the earth by seven angels. And in spite of that that horrific judgment of God that we thought of from Revelation 16.

The people on the art do not repent and fight rather than repenting rather than calling on God for mercy and for forgiveness. They curse God and they blaspheme God before describing the return of the Lord Jesus in Revelation 19. John is aware steps back and writes about the global religion.

This is been going on all through the tribulation period of seven years which begins after the rapture of the church is going to tell us about the rise of Babel and Bible and is going to rise to power during the tribulation.

Do you understand that in the future there will be a worldwide Falls Church.

A worldwide false religion. A church is a word which embraces all religions the Bible calls that babbling, babbling is the most mentioned city in all of the Bible other than Jerusalem. It's number two in terms of his references and in only 22 chapters of this book of Revelation. John devotes to chapters which we call in our Bibles. Chapter 17 and 18 to the subject of babbling in Scripture babbling refers not only to a specific city, but in the refers to a system system which is anti-God system which is in rebellion of God and so before we look at some of the specifics. In Revelation 17 I thought might be helpful to look briefly back in Scripture to learn a little bit about babbling, which will help us to understand what's going on in Revelation 17 and 18. So your Bible might be open to Revelation.

The last book go to the first book Genesis you will find Revelation and you can all find Genesis is the first book in your Bible, Genesis chapter 10 and want we want to read. First of all, from verse eight Genesis, the book of beginning chapter 10 verse eight Cush fathered Nimrod. He was first announced to be a mighty man.

He was a mighty hunter before the Lord.

Therefore, it is sad like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord, the beginning of his kingdom was Babel that it is Eric Conrad culminate in the land of Shinar the land of Shinar is what is called Babylonia Chapter 11 verse one know the whole earth had one language and the same words in this people migrated from the easily find a plane in the land of Shinar and settled there. Great fractile present between the Euphrates and the Tigers.

These two wonderful rivers Shinar Babylonia and they said to one another, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly and they had brick for stone and bitumen from water. Then they said it is this is the spirit of babbling, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves. Last we be disbursed over the face of the whole earth.

Nimrod really means Randall and he is the founder of babbling Shinar is Babylonia and God. In chapter 9 verse one had commanded people to fill the earth. That wasn't good enough for these people it babbling.

The people of Babel deliberately disobeyed God, and they act in collective rebellion against God. What do they do in Genesis 11.

They tried to reach God way they tried to reach God by self effort they act independently of God. That sounds familiar. You don't want to make God a great name we thought we sung about that this morning. They want to make a great name for themselves for the Babylonians.

It's all about them. They would fit in very very well. Too much of society today to build the church tower. Think of the arrogance verse photo Genesis 11. Let us make a name for ourselves Bible and caters to people's pride.

Look what I have done babbling is man-made man centered idolatrous religion. It is a do-it-yourself religion. It is a religion freely without God, it may pay lip service to God. But fundamentally, it is self-centered, self focus, self manufactured, they bring these people together in a seeming unity, but it's a false unity.

It's a unity not based on the word of God is a unity not based on the commandment of God but it is a unity based on error of basic error. This is babbling. If you know your Bible, the schema babbling continues are the Old Testament, for example, in 586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar is the king of Babylon because of the sin of Judah. God uses these pagans. These Babylonians to attack Judah. Time and time again the attack. Judah finally in 586 BC Nebuchadnezzar the Babylonians destroyed the temple.

Think of this pagans destroying the temple of God and they take many, many from Judah into captivity. What we call the Babylonian captivity.

Daniel is one of them. The book of Daniel is written in babbling the spirit of babbling. This dramatically seen in this mighty king. The king of the superpower of the day was characterized by pride by self interest was in the what he says. Daniel four verse 30. Here is the spirit of babbling is not this great babbling Bible and was a great city. Historically, it was a magnificent city is one of the great marvels of the known world is not this great babbling, which I have built by my own mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my Majesty, but this are so focused as it is not billed for the glory of God not thanking God for his grace and his mercy that we are able to live in this magnificent city know this is what we have done and therefore worship me self worship is all about Nebuchadnezzar power he's going to build a big statue and ask people to worship him. He is a precursor of the world ruler that we know as the anti-Christ babbling is seeking self glory rather than glorifying God.

No as we come we can look back to our Bibles to Revelation 17 we come to babbling future babbling has a great future and we read about it in the book of Revelation after the rapture, that is after the churches caught up to be forever with the Lord in heaven. Many churches and many religions will flourish so I don't understand the thought all believers were going to be caught up to heaven. That is true, but there will be many, many in churches I trust not many left the Calvary church, but we never know doing coming to Calvary church doesn't guarantee you a place in heaven. The question isn't whether your name is on the membership role of Calvary church with whether it's written in the Lamb's book of life.

Everyone whose name is written in the Lamb's book of life is going to be caught up with her going to be many false believers many false religions which are going to in fact flourish during the tribulation and this spirit, the spirit of babbling is going to dominate the art that will become a global worldwide religion a one world church under the control. First of all of this woman whose name is written on her forehead look at it in chapter 17 verse five and on her forehead was written the name of mystery, Babylon the great mother of prostitutes and of Aris abominations. One of the great problems of engineers will was spiritual adultery was idolatry. Turning to false gods and John Wharton's about this link back to Revelation chapter 2 and the church of Thyatira.

There was the spirit of babbling in a church.

Yes, it is Revelation 2 verse 20 but I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and this teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. I give her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of our spiritual immorality spirit of babbling.

Chapter 9 Revelation 9 verse 20 here is during the tribulation. Here is babbling. Revelation 20 Revelation 9 rather verse 20 the rest of mankind, you were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands. He's your brother. No interest in religion or no no, they are very very religious people was read on. They don't repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts babbling is the false church. It is the counterfeit church. It is the man-made and man centered church so focused all about us all about us having a good time and basically who cares what God has said to think the spirit of babbling is around us today. I think it is the rejection of God's revelation, throwing out the Bible. The substitution of my ideas, my opinions, and particularly my feelings, my sensitivities babbling is the dethroned mentor of God, and it is the enthronement of self and babbling historically and in the future can be very impressive, catering to our pride reinforcing our prejudices and desires, but it is the counterfeit kingdom of God externally impressive but internally corrupt idolatry spiritual immorality rebellion against God.

The findings of God and his word. Sadly, at least in my opinion that is becoming more and more in the West United States and certainly in Europe. In our culture, we increasingly see ID emphasis on biblical revelation little or no interest in doctrine, even in many churches is that side that the Bible biblical doctrine is preached and taught in so few churches, even in many churches. There's a focus on me. My feelings, putting myself at the center.

I don't feel good, John. You made me feel uncomfortable. I don't like what you say may well be true, but the question is what does God say I will only paying lip service to the word of God or is this are sure and certain, and infallible guide and in our society. Morimoto tolerance of every imaginable bizarre conduct review is babbling. Has the view that all religions are basically saying the same thing.

Don't we have this over and over again. Well when it comes to it, or whether you're a Christian or Jewish or Muslim or Hindu or the new spirituality or a follower of yoga you all basically saying the same thing. Great quest now is to interfaith endeavors, but I know that the interfaith endeavors, but I've been asked to don't want me to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and if I can't pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

What is going on no commitment to the word of God, and it seems increasingly that the only thing that offends people's truth.

You can come up with the most bizarre idea.

You can perpetuate the most hideous and corrupt conduct, and people will listen to you and people say well that's okay may not be my thing but if you want to do the go ahead but face people with the truth of God, and you can feel the hostility if not hatred writing a few years ago Steve Turner, an English journalist put it this way. I think he captures at least some of the spirit of babbling.

He says we believe in Marx, Freud and Darwin. We believe everything is okay as long as you don't hurt anyone, to the best of your definition of hurt and to the best of your knowledge. We believe in sex before, during and after marriage. We believe in the therapy of sin.

We believe the adultery is fun. We believe that sodomy is okay.

We believe that the brutal are to boot. The two boys are to boot. We believe that everything is gathered, getting better, despite evidence to the contrary, evidence must be investigated and you can prove anything with evidence, we believe the something and horoscopes UFOs and bend spoons. Jesus was a good man just like Buddha, Mohammed, and ourselves. He was a good moral teacher.

Though we think is good morals are bad.

We believe that all religions are basically the same. At least the one that we read was they all believe in love and goodness they only differ we confess like this, people say well we really all believe the same thing Steve Turner writes. We all believe in love and goodness, the only differ on matters of creation, sin, heaven help God and salvation. We believe that after death comes to nothing because when US the dead. What happens they say nothing. If that is not the end of the data applied than is compulsory heaven for all excepting perhaps Hitler, Stalin, and Genghis Khan we believe in.

Masters and Johnson was selected as average. What's average is normal. What's normal is good.

We believe in total disarmament. We believe that our direct links between warfare and bloodshed.

Americans should beat their guns into tractors and the Russians would be sure to follow. We believe that man is essentially is good. It's only his behavior that led some time.

This is the fault of society. Societies appalled of conditions. Conditions of the fault of society. We believe that each man must find the truth that is right for him. Reality will adapt accordingly, the universe will readjust history will alter. We believe there is no absolute truth, excepting the truth that there is no absolute truth. We believe in the rejection of creeds on the floating of individual thought a chance to be the father of all flesh disasters is rainbow in the sky and when you hear state of emergency. Sniper kills 10 trips on rampage whites polluting bomb blast school. It is, but the signs of man worshiping his very well said the spirit of babbling.

Where were you and all of what would you believe I'm often asked by people.

What do you look for in the church. What do you look for in a church.

What makes a church a good church in your view. To me the first question is, how is the word of God dealt with if I know how the word of God is dealt with in a so-called church. I can tell you a lot about the church is the gospel preached.

Is it all about feeling good when was the last time there was preaching of the gospel, including the serious message that the people don't get right with God.

We will be eternally judge because as we come to Revelation 17 and 18 God's judgment is about to fall babbling will be judged. Revelation 14 verse eight another angel, a second followed saying fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.

Chapter 16 verse 19 that we saw last week, the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.

What does God think of all of this. John is telling us know this is graphic language he's going to make babbling.

Drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath in the details of the fall, babbling the described in Revelation 18 that we will see next week.

The total Bible in Genesis 11 never reach God. Who could it have pathetic. It fell far short. Instead of unity. There was a scattering instead of one language. There were many instead of making a name for themselves. They received a humiliating name. God is not marked the time of accountability always come. Yes, you can choose to live in the fines of God, as many in our society do and you can live as you like and you can believe anything you want with the time of judgment, God's judgment is coming Nellis Wicker, Revelation 17 where we see the religious side of babbling. The next chapter, chapter 18, focuses on the political and economic side treated first of all, in verses one into the context of John's vision and by the net to go fairly quickly. Chapter chapter 17 verses one into the one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, I will show you the judgment to get the judgment of the great prostitute who seated on many waters with whom the kings of the art have committed sexual immorality and with the wine of whose sexual immorality. The dwellers on have become drunk. One of the seven angels speaks in chapter 16, seven angels pour out seven bowls of the wrath of God and one of the seven angels now invites the apostle John to see verse one. The judgment of the great prostitute. Babylon is about to be judged. The Old Testament, the destruction of babbling the actual cities described graphically in Jeremiah 50 and 51 here in Revelation 17 and 18. There is a prophecy of the future judgment of a Barb of babbling, which will come to the resentment of its power during the tribulation.

By this woman babbling is symbolized by this woman. This terrible woman is great prostitute she is. Verse one.

Seated on many waters for the many waters, verse 15, the angel said to me the wonders that you saw with a prostitute is seated our peoples, and multitudes and nations and languages that is here she is seated on many waters of many waters, or all of the languages and nations of the world. She has a worldwide influence and she is in control of the global church. The church of Jesus Christ is symbolized in Scripture as a pure virgin.

The evil global falls kind of the church is symbolized as a great prostitute with a contrast which is great influence is the kings the rollers the great powers of the universe partner with her.

We read in verse two that the asked dwellers become intoxicated by her idolatry, and by her sexual immorality. They are all enthusiastic at all. In this religion is the controlling and unifying power at the at this time in the tribulation.

Now let's read the woman of John's vision verse three and he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness and I saw a woman sitting on the scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names and it have had seven heads and 10 horns woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality and on her forehead was written the name of mystery, Babylon the great mother of prostitutes and of various abominations and I saw the woman, drunk lists, which is drunk with. She is drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus was the description of this woman in John's vision. Well verse three. She is sitting on the scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and 10 horns was giving your quiz I would ask you, what do we know about this scarlet priest, who is the scarlet beast throwback to chapter 13 verse one seen this beast before. Revelation 13 verse one. I saw a beast rising out of the sea with how many horns 10 horns and seven heads, with 10 diagrams on his horns and blasphemous names on its head.

Verse five and the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words and was allowed to exercise authority for 42 months.

It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God by screaming his name and his dwelling that is those who dwell in heaven.

Clearly this is the antichrist here is a woman and she is sitting on the scarlet beast the antichrist the world ruler is not remarkable at this time. The woman symbolizing babbling is seething and apparently controlling the antichrist is right for some time during the tribulation. The woman is in control of the world ruler the antichrist. Religion is controlling politics, we could say religion is controlling the state. The religious is in control of the secular during part of the tribulation, that we know that during the tribulation antichrist will come to power, so this must be the first part of the first half of the tribulation.

But this close partnership between the woman and the scarlet beast will not continue throughout the duration of the tribulation liquid. Verse 17 and the 10 horns that you saw. They and the beast will hate the prostitute.

They will make her desolate and naked, and devoured her flesh within a do with herbaria know they're going to burn her up with fire, so the midpoint of the tribulation. We know from other Scripture. The antichrist is going to come to power is going to break his treaty with Israel is going to take his place in the temple as God. We saw this before. He is a great abomination of desolation. McDaniel spoke about, that the Lord Jesus spoke about and so he is going to come to power is going to use the woman and then he's going to devour her and is going to set himself up as the supreme ruler over all, is used religion for his own purposes. Verse four we see this woman dressed in very expensive clothes, jewelry outwardly beautiful outwardly very rich thing seems wonderful but she's holding this golden cup which is full of abominations and the impurities with some of her sexual immorality. Jesus talk of religious rulers who were quite at sepulchers.

They look good on the outside but inside there were hollow. They were corrupt they were in fact anti-God. She's proud to self-indulgent. She's wealthy and she's evil. Who is this woman babbling, we see that in verse five. In the Old Testament Jezebel introduced the Babylonian spirit with our worship of Baal worship, but this woman's identity is clearly babbling, as we see in verse five in the tribulation then here is the final form of babbling. There is always been the spirit of babbling right from Genesis 11, but it has never been so evil never soaked corrupt never so pervasive as it is during the tribulation.

Think of her evil is a description verse six, she gets drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

No wonder John marvels greatly as we see in verse six is in this been the history of the church authentic followers of Jesus through the history of the church right from the book of acts forward Stephen been the first martyr right. To this day the authentic followers of Jesus have been persecuted and imprisoned, ostracized, ridiculed and martyred for their faith often by the counterfeit church is happening even today, our culture is tolerant of just about everything, other than those who take an uncompromising stand on the truth of the word of God. Why does she hate them so much.

The spirit of babbling hates truth, hates God hates alarm hates followers of Jesus and so many of them are going to be monitored during the tribulation is receiving before my the interpretation versus seven through 18. First of all, the beast, verse seven. But the angel said to me why do you marvel, I'll tell you the mystery of the women of the beast with seven heads and 10 horns that carries her the beast that you saw was and is not, and is about to rise on the bottomless pit, and go to the structure, praise God is going to go to destruction, and the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast because it was and is not and is to come. This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated there also seven kings. Five of whom are following one is the other is not yet come.

And when he does come, he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not. It is innate with the belongs to the seven and it goes to destruction, and the 10 horns that you saw are 10 kings member the antichrist is 10 horns who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour together with the beast. These are of one mind and handover the power and authority to the beast is good be totally in control, what about the woman they will make war on the Lamb and the Lamb will conquer them for he is Lord of lords and King of Kings and those with him are called and chosen and faithful scarlet beast is the antichrist world ruler who ultimately who's going to be destroyed. John's going to tell us in chapter 19 is going be thrown into the lake of fire. When Christ returns these as dwellers that we saw in verse two are interpreted in verse eight as being those who have not say who are not saved and who marveled when the beast was wounded, and yet lived member that from Revelation 13. The seven heads. Verse nine are seven mountains representing seven successive kingdoms, seven mountains speak of Rome.

Rome built on the seven hills of the time John is writing. Rome is the very center of babbling false religion impacting the then known world. Verse 10 of the 10 kings. Five had fallen, one was present at the time of John and the other had not yet come to the kingdoms would fall in from John's perspective. Egypt Syria babbling Medo Persia and Greece. The sixth one was wrong then superpower the one not yet to come is a revived Roman Empire out of which will come the beast, the anti-Christ. The beast will be the eighth.

According to verse 12 the 10 horns and the beast are interpreted as 10 kings 10 kings allied with the anti-Christ whether going to do. Verse 14 they wage war against the Lamb against Jesus Christ and the when, of course, no. The Lamb will conquer them in the midst of all of the filth of babbling with glorious words of victory. Those who follow the Lamb. Verse 14 are called and chosen and faithful. The wonderful turnover on the winning side. Look at the world that was on the thing we're losing what's happening to our society, but we do need more of that victory.

The final victory in the concluding chapters of Revelation. But what about the woman, verse 15, the angel said to me, the waters that you saw a membership segment sitting on the waters where the prostitute is seated our peoples, and multitudes and nations and languages and the 10 horns that you saw the 10 horns on the beast, the scarlet beast. They and the beast will hate the prostitute is interesting, isn't it. First be sitting on the prostitute now. He hates the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devoted flesh and burn her with fire. You can see the hatred against his global religion for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over the royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled and the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth. The interpretation of the many waters is given to us in verse 15 is why we need to keep reading our Bibles often. John gives us the interpretation is true sometimes is not as clear as we would like, but in a remarkable turnaround in this Confederacy. Of these 10 horns. These 10 kingdoms, which are allied with the antichrist. Now turn on the prostitute. The woman, and they devoured her the beast the world ruler has used world religion for his own and stove world control make sure that we the church are not being manipulated by the political process and said incidentally when this man the antichrist when he no longer has the use of babbling.

He destroys her it's true. She formerly had dominion over the kings of the arts. Verse 18, but no the beast is in control and he's going to be worshiped as God. As we saw in chapter 13 where wonderful reminder John gives us in verse 17 that God is sovereignly in control, but God's purposes are being worked out. There are no surprises with God and in the midst of this rampant evil and limits of the persecution of the followers of the Lamb.

God is in control of their Savior is about to come. The stage is about to be set when the King of Kings and Lord of lords returns and is going to defeat the Antichrist and his armies and will reign forever and ever as King of Kings and Lord of lords. No other signs of babbling begin in Genesis is that refrain continues down through the centuries.

Human autonomy defines of God during the tribulation receive the very epitome of babbling rebellion, idolatry and immorality, pride and hatred of the people of God. Any of that today in our society and their rebellion, our society, idolatry and morality pride hatreds of God and his people. I think so, but the destruction of Bible of babbling, as will see next week is swift and it is complete is going to survive no more. A tall numbers. I concluded I for things to say, task, or any compromise in your life any of the spirit of babbling in your life. What does God want from your number one obedience not rebellion. Are you committed to the truth of this book is difficult, particularly when it conflicts with society or are you more committed to being cool to being contemporary to blending in with your friends or family your colleagues at work. What is it what is it you look to the word of God for guidance or Julie to yourself or do you just follow what's going on around you, to the spirit of babbling is all around us, many churches are just more and more are mimicking the culture where were more concerned about feeling good about ourselves, rather than being good rather than pleasing God were more concerned about having a good life rather than living a life to the glory of God.

Obedience, not rebellion. By nature, all of us rebellious characteristic of the true follower of Christ is humble obedience. Secondly humility, not pride. Babbling is marked by American spy pride.

I'll make a name for myself what I've done. Who needs God as old-fashioned.

Let's do it this way is babbling with his guard look God is all was opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble. If you consider continue in pride, the judgment of God will come pride results in the judgment of God essential characteristic of the true follower of Jesus is humility. I'm not talking about a personality type I'm talking about surrender to Christ humility to the word of God seeking to please God. Humility, not private. Third, trusting in God rather than himself. The two-year way, your ideas, always, always lead you away from God. Jesus answered and says on the light of the world, the one who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. You have a choice. I have a choice in life. I can trust Christ as long as I'm following Christ. I will continue in the lights. If I listen to the society. If I listen to my friends about listen to my contemporaries. I can very very easily take one step toward the darkness, and before that there's a couple more and before I know it I am in darkness and I may not even be aware of it because I'm so deluded and I have measured myself by my contemporary society rather than by the word of God, so that in this way the world comes into the church. God is saying to you today. Trust me, that's heart I know it is without faith it is impossible to please God, trust in God rest in him.

Believe in him. His way is best. God's blessing comes to those who are characterized by obedience, faith, third grace, not works, and by the I'm glad I don't have to work my way to God. I could never do it you really want to build a little toe to God you really want to ignore God's way of salvation and thing you can do it yourself.

You see all religions other than the gospel of the grace of God are all about what you have to do and what you have, not to do. Babbling is doing your own thing conjuring up a false religiosity religiosity. It is a cultural Christianity. And when it comes down to it is a denial of the grace of God, no, it's not that we reach God is the God in his grace comes to us in his wonderful son, our Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God who is Emmanuelle God with us. He comes to us. He identifies with us and he takes our sin on himself dying for our sins being buried and rising again. That is the gospel that the work of salvation has been done. It's not you, it's not me trying to reach God, ourselves, it is embracing what God and Christ has done as I receive Christ and my sins are forgiven and this results in the transformation of life is grace, not works lying on yourself, you're very proud of your ecclesiastical heritage while I'm pride of mind remote was far from perfect. But I tell you this, no one gets into heaven because of a heritage or a tradition or membership of a church or your family name or anything like that. It's purely by the grace of God. For by grace are ye saved through faith and this is not your own doing is a gift of God not the result of work, so that no one may boast something to you receive the grace of God. The work is done.

Stop trying to work your way to cards receive the transformation and the forgiveness of grace. Whatever themes this year that been challenging our staff and their leadership is be strong and courageous, and as I was reading this terrible passage in Revelation 17 about this terrible woman and all that she symbolizes. I thought we need to in our society strong man strong woman strong boy strong girls.

That's why we pray for these little babies that are born and were concerned about their children and their students and all of us, not just young people, but all of us would be strong and courageous and not be like the society around us. Why are we getting more and more like the world.

The world is getting more and more like Madeleine and can I speak to you. Don't get involved in immorality. Don't get involved in drugs and booze and self-indulgence. Don't look for some kind of faith that makes you feel good about yourself. Keep your eyes on Christ with a clean life live a holy life livered Abijah and life liver humble life and God will bless you.

Beware of babbling stand for truth stand for the gospel stands for Jesus.

When you stand with me as we pray and then as we sing together father as we stand physically. We pray that we will be standing inside that will stand for Christ, not just here as we come on this campus of Calvary church within our families, our homes, our work, we will be people who speak the truth gracefully, but we will speak the truth that we will model Christ. I pray for the children. Pray for our students.

I prefer the young adults they feel the field is very keenly father. But what I pray for them. I pray for myself and pray for all of us and some here. Father may be trusting in themselves rather than in Christ, help us to trust in Christ to rely on Christ and rest in Christ.

We ask it in his name
