You don't absolutely do what you shall start to write on a Friday. Let's get into the bells on what went on integrate coming up later this hour: the lead with him a little bit see the latest Seattle try to convince as the growing season with Gino Smith or to block the starting quarterback is not happening. Annabelle, by the way, announcing the 54 Pro football Hall of Fame semifinalists on that list, Mike Shanahan, Michael Robert Kraft issue as well. Some players on their Ken Anderson Roger Craig Billy.

Why choose Johnson, Clay Matthews, Junior, chemically Matthews Junior's ready for the Hall of Fame sterling #there again. Don't got no idea how he's not in amazing Jill Jacoby, Joe Klesko, how is he on this list every year and doesn't get in. Guys only player ever to be selected as an all-pro every defensive line position right there you Hall of Fame writer. You are just good at one position might you literally mastered all three spots on the defensive line to the point where you're an all-pro any play with Mark Astin alleged the guy retired to take care Bridget Nelson Nielsen member of the actress.

She was married to Rocky.

That's right, Lester Stallone slowly exactly they were in that movie which were there in the whole room to get cold.

Yes yes yes. Great movie yet protect her right was that it yeah that's right yeah cobra. Great movie yet.

Bridget Bridget Nielsen. So Gastineau was dating her. He literally retired like a young age because he was with her Lotta people. Kenneth went happy with that but I mean you Gastineau was a great player but, Joe Clack is not a Hall of Famer. Here's the other one. Roger Craig should be a Hall of Famer. Do we have more of an appreciation of what Roger Craig did playing in the early to late or early to early 80s to early 90s. Should we not respect what he did a wee bit more considering when he played this guy was a pass catching threat out of the backfield before guys really thought to be pass catching threats out of the backfield first identified history of the season with over a thousand yards rushing and a thousand yards receiving. I mean, how many super balls that he went to was to probably two or three bubbly to three-time Super Bowl champion four-time Pro bowl first time all-pro one time all-pro.

He's on the all 80s team is 88 all offensive player of the year three-time Super Bowl champion should be in should he rush Pro really rush for almost 8200 yards, he almost caught 5000 yards worth of passes in the NFL minutes is over 13,000 all-purpose yards thousand thousand season is not something to scoff at over 70 touchdowns. I'm always just amazed that Roger Craig is not a Hall of Famer. Annie was innovative rightly think I was the ultimate weapon on that Niners team handed Jerry Rice in Montana. They were great but still he was there pre-Montana but still I mean the numbers he put up in being the first thousand thousand guy should stand for something I never liked the process when it comes the NFL and the Hall of Fame might Guy's have to wait in line right especially receiver.

There's that big log into brown could get in for years, which is an absolute joke now.

He took Isaac Bruce a long time. It's taken Torry Holt forever. DeMarcus Ware didn't get in on his first ballot, I become the 10 guys that are worthy just and I hate that argument will you get it next year but that doesn't matter. Think I know get hit by a car right is never able to actually get the honors deserving of being in the Hall of Fame because God forbid something terrible happens to men having to wait an extra year because whatever you look at it next year. I hate that you got six wide receivers who are truly worthy of being Hall of Famer's why should anybody have to wait to get it you not lining up in a bread line right not lining up in the bank to talk to the teller. Yet a lengthy career and they're going to honor you for. Why do you have to wait to be honored never been a fan of that thought.

That is the dumbest thing imaginable, and every year I just get upset thinking about which guys don't get in and I hate having a conversation while you and what he's going to get it next year.

You know he's next in line should work that way. They need to revamp and I also love this whole process of like you know somebody has to be your advocate, I get it if it's a guy that you're like okay borderline Hall of Fame player right. I thought is a great player this and that reason may be, I don't think he's a Hall of Famer. Hey Jim sell me on why X is a Hall of Famer. Okay, that's great but it's funny art were like somebody's got advocate for Peyton Manning or Lawrence Taylor Reggie White leader, Tom Brady and the future summarization to stand up in this room and convince me why Tom Brady is a Hall of Famer the ashes. I listen, I have nothing to say I'm representing Tom Brady adjusted down some idiot in that room has to be convinced Tom Brady's all thing. We got some serious problems rightly. Maybe I should be voting on the saying why you need is advocate for some of these guys. If you have that great.

You don't even advocate.

I totally agree. It's so funny Lawrence Taylor. Okay, we know he was a bad guy off the field and there were drugs and prostitution in all these issues, but no one was a better defensive player protection. A history of football and Lawrence Taylor to where we still talk about him, and he hasn't played in a long time and we still say Manny is probably the greatest offensive player in history. You know, no offense to Reggie White and get somebody's got to stand for preventive room to be a ailment site exactly why LT is a Hall of Famer in the whole thing is I understand like you want people that represented the league as a professional right and you want guys that didn't embarrass your team the league. Whatever it might be as if you're so embarrassed by guys off the field and takes you're still letting a playwright so apparently you're okay with it so I felt will allow DeShawn Watson to still probably have a lengthy career. He's getting paid by Cleveland to stop a lengthy career across the fact that in 26 accusations against him and was a 20 had been settled.

All I'm saying is if they care so much in the Hall of Fame process.

I know it's not the NFL. It's it's a different organization around the Hall of Fame, but still I just wonder like if it's such a big deal. How are they okay with letting the guy play while he's a knucklehead off the field and then there's the debate of Israel you know should that disqualify them from the Hall of Fame. It doesn't disqualify them from actually playing, then it shouldn't be an issue. Just my two cents. When it comes this idiotic process that they have in place say it's really an idiotic process, but I do like it I like the whole thing speeches and I think you're great being in conical when you see these yellow gold jackets and you read about the process and you're having been to numerous Super Bowl radio rose in meeting with guys who are Hall of Famer's and lard and you walk around in the gold jackets pretty cool. I like you know if there's like a rip or tear in the jacket. Just send it back in the center new one.

Like the colors faded rating is happening literally to send you a new one arm to gain weight and can fit into it anymore. They send you a stern warning and a trainer and a new jacket. I think I'm kidding they don't do that, but they should write you not funny yeah I noticed like the running backs become heavier and the offense of lineman become really slender notice that it's opening with her cruiser over while he's running backs were like the best shape right.

The actually balloon a bit to get a little soft and pudgy around the edges. The offense of lineman who are these hogs. These absolute trucks of a human being all lose weight, become these like slender dudes like Joe Tom. This was a massive scary left tackle for the Cleveland Browns and all time great and you look at them now, and it's like my goodness he could even play linebacker is too thin. It's just the most bizarre thing ever. You can recognize some of these guys many read like what it takes to maintain like I don't weigh 300 pounds are needed to you. Okay, I've never dabbled in those numbers are not in the kite back to the Jets's got a late try to fluctuate 33 5400 pounds, but the amount of food that you have to gorge yourself with in this schedule of what you have to eat and when it doesn't even sound possible have ever read this stuff are words like you gotta get up at 6 AM have that protein shake that have like a dozen eggs and then have L4 pound steak tonight and then have it in court like a huge chicken breast emulates.

It's incredible what it takes to maintain 320 pounds of weight on you in terms of caloric intake it's most unhealthy thing ever early, as it's just it's mind-boggling. No thank you, and I think what happens after these guys retire where they don't have to be so massive is not blocking anybody anymore.

You know they why am I carrying around 320 pounds is not good for me why my eating like an absolute horse every single day to maintain this weight that I have no use for. Then you like to lay off the stuff and get a like a normal diet and bone. You don't like. 320 like a buck 9200 may short the radio row people. He who is that guy in the notes to me.

I know why my goodness you're right, it's a unbelievable hose eating habits that the healthiest years ago I saw Jerome Bettis at a mall here in Los Angeles and he was pretty still pretty hefty yeah but he was hefty weight plate. You know he was a big back. He was a really big back but your video but he was a lot obviously more muscular back that now you will bid as a cellular pudgy around the side, soft software yeah Marshall Fox perfect badly, but marshals never like Marshall Faulk when he played.

He wasn't jacked when Marshall was not a guy who was ripped to where it's like a Greek God rightly you see this guy need like DK Metcalf right where it's like my goodness, this guy is literally built like a rock like chiseled Marshall was never like that is great a players. Marshall is one of the greatest ever. He always was kind of a little bit softer. He's the only guy that I can remember that was like that you know when you seem to Marshall Falk and the talking your target is marshals always like that. How football the matter. Some guys just carry the weight better man, I can do it and I like eating man I love eating, but I could never eat to maintain that type of that type of weight. Not a chance in heck no way. Not a chance by the NFL season.

You know it's amazing how football is become so big that there's like the countdown clocks now to think in the first game of the season is going to be upon us Thursday night when the you know the Rams are to be facing the Buffalo Bills on September 8. I'm stuck. I'm so conflicted when it comes to that are because like to me. I love the summers right, not a winter guy I guy by I live in the New York area and it is cold and snowy and it does get somewhat miserable and by January I please can we just get the summer. Then we are in summer.

You're starting a countdown clock to when it's going to be football season into me when you get to the fall and you get to game one of the NFL season. The kindest singles in the summer right. The kids are back in school football is started up the football is obviously a cold-weather sports are you every time you think of football you think frozen tundra of Lambeau Field guys you see every breath you see the steam coming off their sweaty heads so is like to I want to get to the football season, because I love football but I don't want to happen so quick because at the end the summer big dilemma man torn where you live in LA so doesn't matter right now it's just calling long time or being out there for the Super Bowl art and you know were having dinner and it's like 75° outside and it's February and I go back I get off the airplane mode.

LaGuardia and its 32° so for you.

It doesn't matter, but for people outside of the although the warmer climates in this country you enjoy summer bit more in your appreciate summer more because you got three of your three months of it and half months and then start and then you're back in winter and in no leaves on the trees. Depressingly cold.

You want deal with that. So when it comes to things like that. You guys on the West Coast are in the South you have a good, but you take it for granted. Compared to people like myself that enjoy summer time, but love football and understand the countdown clock also is counting down to the end of the summer months, which I absolutely hate right when Callaway engineered chrome sought to be the best tour ball.

He didn't just make the best players better and make everyone better than women first time major winners repeat major winners club champions business golfers the crumbs off family has a best performance for every type of performance starting with the regular chrome sought which is designed for the widest range of golfers who want better, feel more distance and incredible forgiveness. But better players looking for more workability chrome soft X provides excellent spin consistency into a little short gain control finally crumbs off XLS gives you a lower spin golf ball on longer shots ever feel but still with high spin around the greens and now every chrome soft is enhanced with precision technology, which uses design techniques and manufacturing specifications up to 1/1000 of an inch. This ensures you that this ensures that the highest quality, most consistent fastest golf balls possible.

When you add it all up.

It's pretty simple chrome soft is better for the best and better for everyone.

Find out which chrome soft is right for you and Callie golf.com/chrome soft back out there on the golf course and you break with junior talks benefit with him coming up next lot to get into really that's yet awkward situation is mind-boggling. But what is it all mean is there that arrogance a few Celtic and he can take any quarterback making Russell Wilson where there some plotting going on as to a move to make before we get to week one of the NFL season find out the enforcement infrared John this Friday on the rich ice and show does your antiperspirant keep you dry all day. Dove men plus gear dry spray goes on instantly drive for a cleaner field, and offers 48 hours sweat and order protection repeat that 48 hours of sweat. In order protection.

Use it and don't even think about it. Also dove men dry spray contains doves unique one quarter moisturizing cream.

It helps protect your skin trite dove men plus care dry spray goes on dry cleaning feel all day. Now it is rich. I think she'll be enforcement infrared John this Friday and inching closer to the start December Thursday bills that the randomness season opener Sunday 11 days going person Baker Mayfield trade to Carolina still reverberating Seattle Seahawks quarterback situation a really good to go in the season. Would you know Smith Andrew locket quarterback. Hard to believe but apparently that's the case, is a smokescreen. Is there more human NFL teams are graded smokescreens received all the time getting into a trap going number one on this team really likes that guy this guy didn't like that guy been interviewed next. You know they draft that guy so it's always hard to tell what exactly it is in terms of the truth and what's being stretched a little bit here and there always very interesting when you look at things like that because honestly speaking, everybody's keeping stuff close to themselves. Here you don't want to give advantages you don't want to give any sort of indication of certain things and you want to keep things away from the other 31 teams in the NFL is becoming a science right it's become kind of like I had stuff to explain. It's become kind of a way of life in the NFL to try to hide stuff in the competition because any little thing potentially could be the difference in being able to draft a guy winning this game are that so it's being held very close to the vest star and set out there buddy Andrew Brandy has so many things out there if I tried to intro all of it. It would take up the entire segment. He joins us on the rich eyes and showed the enforcement and for rich by the way on your Twitter you talk about Ralph and Adele seeing him like shake everybody's hands take pictures of everybody.

Your attendance fan. How how disappointed are you are not in the scene. The doll versus joke of it.

You, by the way one today after losing the first set to move on to the Wimbledon finally and truly disappointed you didn't get everywhere. You do a lot of things going.

A lot of jobs don't have a real one other thing I I am a huge tennis band because that just play growing up. I played competitively in I just really think like you said were in the winter incredible Golden age and always great when you step back and appreciate what were and I know old-timers like the days of McEnroe and Connors on board, but I don't see how any view that this is the best time in men's tennis in history with these three guys I watch the golf match just made me watch joke of it in and I watch her click today that just had this mental edge on people and speaking personally, I was in Madrid wants them there. This combustion around the corner and yes it was.

It was rough on the doll walking on the street and I'll tell you, Dan. I've been around Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady and Michael Jordan, but I will I that never strays me. I was around the doll.

I would like a schoolgirl with a crush. I was at twitter I was I was tingly. I took itself, he would have never done it was with yet so he is that you can impress the guy yet said he had to drop out of love the twitter video. The hot solutes will have a friend who works for the USTA and she was zombielike he as big as these guys on a global scale. When scaly time to fetter the doll and joke of it. Either way they're known all over the world. It's not like baseball star Mike Trout you outside of the US. No one knows who years but yet these three apparently of the most humble nice guys.

They don't show an ego as you said the take pictures of people they don't see how they understand like it's their time, but they will share with others.

I was appreciated though, that the big three, not just their greatness on the corporate effect it hasn't gone has really gone to their head. You know, and I think that's probably another reason why we look at those three guys.

We look at that and say what an error. We lived in because also, could guys that don't get in real trouble and enjoy vision of me know whatever the vaccine thing but in terms of criminal stuff you don't hear about them doing bad things.

I love it I love this generation the credit here and I as much of it. Love you guys plan. Now I have to say it better is my favorite. Truly what you just talked about you humble it can be.

Yet people talk about him in a small café in Basle, Switzerland, or just hang out among the vehicle go different than a lot of superstar you care about. Not absolutely.

Let's get some football talk you and you I have a hard time believing that Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks are truly confidence in their quarterback room, going into a season with Gino Smith and I guestroom lock battling it out to be the starter you think there really confident that's going to be the case, or is there something I'm going where they're looking to upgrade because they can tell us they like what they have no way can they feel confident with those two guys yeah I think they do. I mean I we can all play they shouldn't. But I think if you notice talked over the years they've become kind of the I mean their college like Pete Carroll comes from college no rotate a lot. Go churn.

I worked with John Schneider in Green Bay for years. They do a lot of churn in with me into their rollover players pretty quickly and trying to bring in fresh players and go with new genes and ever the past years that you know they've moved out Bobby Wagoner and Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas and Michael Bennett just go down the line. So again were judging Gino Smith under lock and they maybe have a different judgment. I think the biggest example of this is what Carolina Panthers were able to get wave of the trade to get bigger Mayfield. It was peanut yet it was peanuts in any sense which tells me that Seattle Seahawks had zero interest in bigger Mayfield zero so no one else did. There's only one way Carolina gets that deal and that they're the only team bidding for bigger Mayfield so just shows you know yeah like they have.

We may not like it, but they'd confidence because they've had such success there over the years with Schneider and of course the Pete Carroll but maybe two point there's an arrogance. I don't mean in a bad way, but there's an arrogance of thinking okay we can move out all these great legendary players. As you mentioned, because we think we can find the next guy right we think we can take guys that may have not succeeded elsewhere, but we see something different in them that we think we can get out of them. I call it somewhat of an arrogance because it really works out that way.

Is that kinda what were seeing in Seattle with a think that they can take guys and maybe make more out of them that we've seen yeah I just think so. I think organization are committed to certain things and you listen in the three years where I was in Green Bay. We had her daughters on the bench everyone and their brother was saying this about Aaron you know everyone was saying come on you guys are can turn the team over to Rogers. It's going to be some stopgap right at that time I could carry Collins or Jeff Garcia and I kept saying no no no, we are turning to T-Mobile Aaron Rodgers you just don't when we well and this is what people don't get the Packers are going to turn the team over Jordan love at some point and everyone's like no you get someone better than that.

Now the team have convictions about players and they're not just going to meet me stopgap thing all the way and eventually Justice Rich Eisen show dance was 15 for Rich on this Sunday mentioned Baker Mayfield going to the Carolina Panthers. If you are running an organization right it is Sam Donald starting week. One is Baker Mayfield who you think makes the most sense for them know they probably have likely to talk about their own convictions about players. It's interesting from my expertise because Donald Makin that 19 million option number that was the number for Mayfield two days ago yeah now and now Mayfield predicted overall comp by 3 million and the Panthers only paying five now you have Mayfield making five and Donald Makin 19.

My question is does that factor into the Panthers decision has to some level were Donald probably goes in the starter but it's a competition and training And then Donald got a leg up. Of course, having been there training and then many camps in all season and all that but I wouldn't discount Baker starting week one against you know the Browns yeah but you don't answer the thing is, if it's not rule to me was on stronger footing. Maybe you can do then decide, hey, the guy making 19 should start because the financial reason, but he's gotta be a very hot seat.

At this point where if he's making a decision based on who's making what money they may not be the better football decision.

It's his job on the line right here think everyone knows that and you know this is not some older guy younger guy came in to pick the part so well for me and then back into the guy that I work in Green Bay is going to be the real driver plan well on the condition so I do think it's going to be one of these, were you not go with the hot hand, but Donald probably goes in is the favorite answer when you're not in on the just and I know Rich Eisen course a big chest pain as well. They made a lot of moves draft data get three first-round picks they get a high second round pick the I absently added an influx of talent, but the plane the same division as the Buffalo Bills who some believe are the best team in the NFL right now in DSC. A team like the Jets making a no significance. The right word because they do have a very tough schedule, but is not a team that when a team looks at their schedule sees the Jets. They look at that team a lot differently than maybe a couple years ago I think so. I mean, when you talk about alive. All potential rights so you know when people have a lot of hype picks in the drama there's usually a reason for that. Yeah.

And they've got a long way to go so you know people not understand about the draft that these players are not expected to be frontline players ordered beer star players there expected to be your star players and three or four year your star players from last year are still going to be your star players this year and then the turnover slowly happens, so anything like the judge you have to look at and say their X years away. Unless you just have you known the established players, not the rookies really stand out. You know it all comes down is always the obvious point about the quarterback. What kind of job goes with both the night or come and jump to Trevor Lawrence Mike Condon jumped his neck Jones make to the rest.

These are the big question. Those teams quarterback question is in San Francisco.

Jimmy Gropper was still on that roster and I did this on the show yesterday. I just don't see a lot of spots that he can land. I don't think he goes within the division to Seattle and the only other team I see potentially that could use a starting quarterback is the Atlanta Falcons and I met you Jim if you want to go sit someplace but he may not have the choice easy to an unhealthy situation if they go into training camp with Jimmy Gropper low.

Still, there which freelance pretty much taking the baton to become the starter there is that a bad situation to be in and under Morocco and in it he makes it applicable. It is, but he'd seen from the outside pretty compliant guy any understandings been injured and he understands what everyone should have known for two years, which is there going to turn the team over the land at the latest year permanent draft notice is not Aaron Rodgers that that will never happen again. Will you take a guy first-round longer than a year so this is the future of the Niners. They he's known that men only took a minute third picker port. Whatever was traded to number ones yeah so this is a drastic move by the 49ers that happened a year ago not new graph closed. Frankly, Dan. I was surprised Gropper will play all last season. Yeah, I thought they'd make a move and I'm sure they did very well and almost got championship, but I think they you know I think they keep them and told there's a trade I don't I don't know if the cavemen of the season.

I just don't know English you take a huge pay cut.

I don't know how they do it in the problem means you is as good as Toronto seems to be in. He's not gonna rock the boat and he's gonna see the right thing and I think he's a respectful guy in the quarterback room that will help a young quarterback. The fact is if you go into training camp with them. He's a gamer right. He's an athlete. Nobody wants to be second fiddle. He's going to go in there. Try to win the starting job so in terms of him and his attitude he's going to say and do the right things but he's got to go out there and if he plays better for you to say we want the kind that's good. When this games and if Lance looks bad and Gropper looks great how your train Lance if you allow the situation to happen in organizational commitment. Traded up by I sell it. Yeah they are convicted about to expire. Yeah, I mean if there was a trade the same as Mayfield right there with the trade for Jimmy. It would've happened. There's no trade for Jimmy.

There's no trade now and again to be a fire sale in August.

Maybe, maybe because they don't want 29 on the books but no one taken them for 29 so there's going to have to be a major pay cut Eileen Baker only gave up three and a half-million. I would think Jimmy gives a format here's the thing. What is this scenario you thought some formula. Find out if this on Watson's gonna play this year. Not the answer will be preset on the roster for Jimmy Gropper low is it worth taking that pay cut to start one season in Cleveland, and potentially resetting your value if you play well that might be a smart case for him and maybe a better scenario for Cleveland and going with Jacoby reset the season. Well, we run.

I'm in Cleveland find verse make undergone traded for Gropper low grade based on percent and then at the idea that there were going to go back to Baker with Sean suspended you know that ship sailed and one day were to find out what happened with Baker and the Browns because there is bad blood mean they didn't want him back. He didn't want to be back before the walking chase so I really wonder what went on their guts later, the God you know would out there gotten it out. He was in the championship game two years ago so will will will eventually find out about yeah that's a great point. At some point, the truth will come out you lance you said this so that I can.

Junior said that the question is what is the truth when it comes to beta Mayfield. He was on top of the world there in Cleveland. After his second year, third year he seemingly turned the corner as he said he played hurt last year which usually wins you points of the organization, and of course went south very very quickly and you branch appreciate you hopping on the show enjoy the rest of tennis frankly with the women's final in the men's final still coming up this weekend every week and my friend] awesome stuff major Brent and it's a great point itself in the organizations have their belief, their thinking on certain issues right what is Carolina thinking in terms of the skill set of Sam Donald and Baker Mayfield we mail sit here and say will Baker deserves to be the starter he's better, but they may say have a Donald has more potential and gnosis offense better and is more comfortable with the guys that we think we can win more games with him.

Seattle may actually think that they can get something out of Gino Smith or Drew walked in. No one else got right just couldn't get it. Seattle couldn't get it earlier from Chino as well as other organizations like the giant steady play for.

He's had opportunities to be a starter. He's never run with it because he's not good enough to lock Denver thought highly of them but he never turned that corner from potential to actual results. Bottom line is, maybe they know something we don't, or there's Americans thinking they know more than we Baker Mayfield situation the way I do what I gonna delve into that does little that the great point by Andrew Brandt, Dan Schwartzman, on a Friday and for rich writing on the rich guys in jail and toward the rich guys in the rich eyes and show on a Friday. Brando is good to chat with them. You have a good point. What the truth is with the Baker Mayfield Cleveland relationship that ended really badly bad blood.

They didn't really hold back in terms of criticizing Odell Beckham Junior left there. There was seemingly bad blood between him and Baker did he just kind of burn a lot of bridges over his few years in Cleveland. You kinda wonder right wins the truth to come out if ever asked her how things went so south so quickly with a guy that they love me Baker Mayfield like a fan favorite at a hard-working walk-on who molded himself into a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback believed in himself to walk on a Texas Tech and then believe in himself to then walk on it Oklahoma. After transferring I mean this is a guy that people like that right is the lunch pail type quarterback.

He's not tall. He's not like the blonde, good looking dude is 65 right women gravitate to him. No, he's not like that acres like a six-foot tall guy who have to really struggle to get to where he was, was in the top recruit was a three-star guy.

People like that story because that's honestly how most people in this country right we fight for everything we can get in.

He's done that in a place like Cleveland which is considered more of a blue-collar type of city in a football crazed town and state.

He kinda was the perfect guy in the first few years he was on top the world in Cleveland. He was the guy that was in a change.

The fortunes of an organization that couldn't get out of its own way when it came to quarterbacks 30 some odd starting quarterbacks like a 25 year period. That's insanely pathetic. It's terrible. Frankly criminal. Everybody's been a part of that organization should be ashamed of themselves and even now, by the way they been on the cusp with all the talent they've had the last couple of years right you think they be able to put it together and truly compete for a Super Bowl. They had so many big-name guys there talent Nick Chubb Kareem Hans Odell Beckham Junior Jarvis Landry, David and Joe Koo good offense of lineman right defensively. Miles Garrett and the quarterback award you know they had so many big time players but they haven't put together to consistently Windows RBC a bigger issue. There in the whole Baker Mayfield how it all exploded and blow up in their faces to where there literally paying for him to leave right. Here's $10 million and our number one overall pick from. Just four years ago. Please take them and get them out of our hair and will take a fifth-round pick the best becomes a fourth-round pick out of my way to say that Sam Donald has not been as good as Baker Mayfield since the day they got drafted yet the Jets got a second and 1/4 and they have to pay parts of Sam Donald salary to get a matter New York Carolina willingly took on Baker Mayfield is been a better quarterback is not even debatable since coming into the league to pick support in 2018 Cleveland Spratly begging Carolina to take a man writing a check for $10 million. Think about that desperation again. You also to clear salary because you're paying DeShawn Watson five years, $230 million, which can fully guaranteed by the way, that it may not even play this year and who knows beyond that. So it's going to be so juicy to find out if we ever do what exactly happened like that's a book right that's like a Michael Lewis book that's in the Moneyball type of book like he also wrote that book about like was that the housing crisis.

Whatever it wasn't like I want a tell-all type of book to come out behind the scenes of what happened in Cleveland would Odell Beckham Junior's father, like put out the video of the times he's opened in Baker doesn't throw the football member that on when he went on when he left Cleveland is unbelievable so I was running that place right from the Haslam family on down as just a terrible job like I will guarantee you something Mark if you stuck Bill Belichick in Cleveland. Not that you want to go back to if you're stuck Bill Belichick in Cleveland with Baker Mayfield and Odell and Landry all the talent they've had their winning their winning something all yet he would make right totally make it work. Not only will he make it work, but he would button down the locker room or you don't have Odell Beckham Junior's dad putting up videos on Twitter of his son being open numerous times in Baker Mayfield not seeing right like you wouldn't have that type of thing happening happening doing that, I've known players to play for Bella check and you know what you can do you know what you can't do what you can say what you can't say any respect that you kind of conform to the patriot way there's no Cleveland way.

It's a free-for-all right it's an absolute it's like a prison yard in terms of people just not caring about what's going on with their teammates and things to where it's a free-for-all you can have that I whose whose runs the captain of that ship and kinda wonder where Baker comes in with all these attributes from the college ranks rethink this up okay. He's considered a leader in Oklahoma right people followed him in Oklahoma.

You walk into a situation of undisciplined players like you having Cleveland maybe a look at him trying to actually be a leader and say you're a phony. You never want anything you're a rookie second-year player what you mean.

You can sit there and tell me what to do with this or that or how to act on the listing generally listen.

The coach we do what we want here in Cleveland. I just kinda get that thought as to what the issue was.

And it's to me. Kind of interesting to find out if I'm right with that or not but you bring in a disciplinarian type of coaching flashes the rings and say hey you may not like me but trust the process. This is how many rings I have is €37 Cincinnati features Cincinnati and that's the thing that's quirky and that's crazy, but it worked.

Belichick had. I know because he's got ponderings forget the rings. He's one is a head coach with the Newington patriots forget the what six rings as a patriot said coach is six yet Bradys got seven right brace at 7316 with Bella check Belichick.

I believe 13 rings of the Giants or was it too rings the Giants as defensive coordinator you want to rings of the Giants yet to 86 and was in 1991 again 91 was 91 when I guess Jan the bills kicker missed the field that's right that's right so he was defensive coordinator believe both those teams. So he's got like eight rings swim Belichick walks in and he's there the bunch of 20-year-old players who think that the greatest and he tells me to run a bunch of suicides of this or that they look and say this guy is crazy but dangerous flashes the bling on his fingers and say I might be crazy, but it works right.

It's when the map Patricia's of the world go someplace and say I want to punch her rings of the pages you say you know you didn't Belichick try to be Belichick Junior and be a disciplinarian.

No one listens because I get you to win that you're stopped in Windows games. It was Bella check style that did so don't try to mimic it because you weren't the responsible party you know I think Detroit was a worse situation than Cleveland on.

No question about absolutely. But my whole point is how the professional athlete views the coach special coach is going to come in therein try to be a disciplinarian. Try to be all up in their business.

You know I one of those types of coaches, not the Herman Edwards of the world, Herm Edwards, who of course is where the players coach right even a Pete Carroll where you give a little bit more leeway to the guys. The Bella checks the world cannot give you that leeway. It's the patriot way or the highway you not to conform to what their standards are your God, and Patricia. I guess we try to institute that in Detroit, but he didn't have the credit Bella check and walk in there at the rings and say it works. Look right. That's the difference. And I think a place like Cleveland you need that you needed that guy that was strong-armed strong will disciplinarian my where the highway and I got rings to prove it. They would a one with those losses in Cleveland where they could win enough games and go for the playoffs like they should. Over that talent. That's my point. When I think about how they really screwed up opportunities when it came to yesterday was the NHL draft.

I tried to follow along, but there is a fundamental problem with the NHL draft baseball has, by the way, when compared to the NBA and the NFL why I lost interest so quickly. I will explain that next hour or three dance was inflict on a Friday. It's rich. I show for the real story behind some of wrestling's biggest moments something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson to all opponents. Much of him as having a conversation wears on a motion there was number one is not even going back before you know Holcombe was a baby face Holt and Andres were able to go in headline the New Orleans Superdome at Shea Stadium in Japan wherever they went. That was an attraction something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard listen wherever you get your podcasts
