Reminder the number to call in 844204 Rich Rockman Dell to flow and heard enough from you today. I was working on a couple for the next two hours really gets more Dell to forward but now I welcome my friend, my fellow Northwestern Wildcats lover of a good omelette broadcast many sports in many places as Lisa Byington likes to cite Lisa Byington, most notably the voice of the Milwaukee Bucks. Lisa, good morning. Thanks much for joining us got a lover of the white very very very just the omelettes I made you make IV I feel I got the photo community.

I feel like you're on the game is been stepping up these days you file your direct follow on the ground. Let me think that right now because if you don't know talking about the brilliant box broadcaster and maybe even a better guide shop and and the thing that you post it if it makes my mouth water just looking at you know I appreciate the intro but but you left one very important resume… Okay, thank God, but to Alpena, Michigan, WB, KB, broadcasters would be reuniting on the right side started the bottom. Now here you KB which Lisa knows at one point and probably still stood for. We barely know what your best Alpena story. Lisa Mobley covering the brown trout I not all that you meant what I do a lot of work but not one of them, but I did for one weekend and literally called the brown trout level and higher that he Alpena in the area. I feel like it cut down you know that the take part in the brown trout festival. I put my first standard, and as I told me to wait and then continue to grow. I think it's out now at like hundred 90 weight of the thought doing unique things like that that you wouldn't normally get to do my first story was icefishing literally first day Saturday and over the weekend sports anchor got to grand Lake and go ice fishing and they had to give me these boots that were made on a whale blubber is one of the coldest place I've ever been Alpena, Michigan and and somehow, here we are now so listen to you were to sport athlete at Northwestern soccer bass my first time ever met you was, I believe interviewing you. When I work for W in your sports calling the women Tabasco games Northwestern and and you were you no star point guard on the squad number 11 leading the way, how did you navigate your way to go to where you are now. Lisa whereabouts at number 11. Third way for the rest of my life. And then I realized quickly that that would not happen. I couldn't really make a living, professionally doing that though you know junior senior year at Northwestern is when I really started to pipit and start thinking about what I wanted do I love sports so much that I try to figure like okay look if you if you can't play for what you do and and I I went the local news route. I went to the McDill school of journalism, and they they prepare you for a lot of great things and I really thought that I would be the SportsCenter anchor SportsCenter I you you work that it was you know it, you show to watch right when you were growing up. I you that the first thing I would turn into that, I eat my cereal and start my day and and I started out local news and local dues for the first 12 years looked on with the Big Ten network in the first year of the Big Ten network in 2007 and and never said really no opportunity that yes the play-by-play to sideline reporting some of those jobs I'd never done before, and then slowly but surely no doors were open.

Not because I just wasn't scared to say yes to something I hadn't done before. It's an amazing story. I know you went to Lansing after Alpena and you were there for a long time and I'm so happy to see everything that you're accomplishing now in getting all the accolades that you are because you were to tell Avenue you've earned every single thing every step of the way. And now you're the voice of the Milwaukee Bucks which is so cool you get extra access to Yana's right so other than what we see on court is this guy is is a global superstar. I talked to tennis players like Maria soccer you and seven of 65 top 10 tennis players who look up to the honest and say that his story inspires them, what makes him so special outside the stuff we see on court humble you and that you exactly who he is, when there and a bad joke in the post game when you theater fire in him on the court both part.

And in part superstar and and he embraces both of those roles and end he will never ever forget. I don't know if you got been able to check out Ry because his mood just about the number and tell a story about his family.

Your family is so important to him. Number one, number cleared, never forgetting about where he came from is equally as important, and so because of that you will always be one of the most humble superstars you will ever meet and and one of those guys that will never ever not show the joy of playing in an NBA basketball game or whatever whatever game you gotta be playing you know I mean I think the NBA gets a bad rap sometimes for players mailing and not caring what I would encourage you to continue to watch Jan about the crimp on the Milwaukee Bucks because you just will not get that kind of attitude from Yana ever. How many times did you have to say his last name over and over before the first first game call of the box interview plenty of time on I like where you and I got plenty of practice with that name because you can print out two different ways you can print out that the Nigerian way, which it has more games than being in it and then you can print you can print out the way I just did not think about what is more teasing P on that's more of the Greek version and that's actually the way that if you ask not to say his name and I just was looking at a social media clip that the way that that he now pronounces his name me obviously he's been attached now to the Greek Creek right branding everything you can apply for the Greek national pain with the brothers here, and often the euro basket tournament so but it is interesting you know you got that both that Nigerian descent and and now in the Greek ties as well. So really fat with just on the great tree just on the IR memory first came out this religious and Yana's. It's a real big. Maybe you know make it a big entrance. Lisa we had MJ Koster wheeze on earlier who is a true trailblazer it in our industry first Afro Latino toasters on NFL network. You are the first female full-time play-by-play voice for a major men's professional sports team with the boxer. Also the first woman to play-by-play in men's NCAA basketball tournament history for CBS and Turner sports first woman to call football games on the Big Ten network. I absolutely incredible and inspiring. I mentioned the Billie Jean King quote. You gotta see it's a bit now that people have seen you for a little bit. What effect do you think it's out on others. Being it as well. I hope I don't have to question many more time and and I hope other women who are in play-by-play roles or quote unquote nontraditional roles that work or not you were constant to seeing women and stop answering these questions, I understand why why the question come, but I believe that the that that my goal is to have a female voice on a quote unquote men can become background noise and in your thinking what is that mean well. Think of how many times you're just listening to a game in the background and you're not thinking twice about who the announcers are because you know more times than not there to bed.

Calling a game, and so I'm guilty of it as anyone when you have a game on and regardless if it's a female voice is a play-by-play warrant analyst, but someone in a nontraditional role and and typically on a bent game football, baseball, soccer, basketball.

I got some time to think and to try to figure out that female announcer doing that game and the goal is to do the job in the right way and good enough that that more women get hired in these roles and that eventually it becomes and it's probably going to be a generational change is probably not something that the consciously were all going to make that shift and that that five years there were a couple years down the line, but someday we could stop thinking about gender ties to announcer and we just look at them as announcers. I don't want Lisa Byington to be background noise just tell you that I love the way you call games. I love listening to you during March madness during football season during basketball CI means literally I mean I have two full-time jobs. I think you have about 17 of them cover literally every sport and it's that is not easy to do to be an expert. One day on one thing and the next day on something else.

So I give you a ton of props for that. How your first football game on Big Ten network is your September 3 it's, not Marilyn hosting Buffalo. How do you see the Big Ten football season up this year. You know I don't go in and week to get to Hawaii and I would frequently looking at at Michigan and how they kind of backed up against Ohio State.

You know it for the Big Ten here the first time right like you're not having any like major head-coaching changes all 14 had coaches return. I think some of the biggest storylines.

This is some of the teams of Michigan like included, have made some major changes with their office of coordinators and defensive coordinator so you know the first couple weeks. What what we know Michigan football could be.

Or, you know with Ohio State on the defensive side of the ball after they made their DC changes. You know it will be interesting to see. You know the styles and the schemes of some of these teams and and how things have a ball.

You know, I think it the Big Ten had showed itself in terms of making the college football playoffs as well.

And you know it Ohio State, Michigan. I think being some of the favorite once again possibly be in there as well but?

I think will be a lot of intrigue because of some of those coaching changes that I mentioned about it specially, and in the first couple weeks, and in Ohio think without the gates written quite Notre Dame so that's one on September 3. I'm looking forward to kinda keep an eye on Lisa very smart to go Michigan heavy on the rich eyes and show a lot of Michigan analysis. Go blue. I'm in a listen. We we both spent a lot of your from Michigan write your figure from Western Michigan. I grew up in Calvin's image again and perk your job where you mentioned Alpena, Michigan and clamping Michigan so I am I am heavy on the date of Michigan that that said Lisa you are a Northwestern Wildcats student athlete.

The whole deal are we going to make a bowl game again this your house it's going to do well you know you got that weird I like when pregame when the West division S auto like pattern going so they had lost three games last year maybe that the West division title in a bowl game is on the horizon. But you know I mean when they have fallen off with a lot of thin quarterback if he is right and it was it just kind of been a merry-go-round for that in that position. So I'd like to see them solidify that you know for the magic over there so I'm hoping that Northwestern and and the Big Ten can get as many teams in bowl games again this year. He was six magic before six magic passage a little alleging there's Northwestern. What's your take on college athletes and these and IL deals I know you got it you would've been a millionaire before you even entered your your professional broadcasting world with all your you know accolades as a two sport athlete who what you make of this court. Northwestern right backlog soccer if I got I kind of feel at the time. Basketball is the full scholarship sport and I ended up walking on the soccer team as well and in plain both in and soccer is not a full scholarship work so you know if you are question I was really into camp about any student athlete, many, many years ago is going off of my experience of playing in the 90s. I was thinking about the opportunities that the advantages I got it. Do not wait at Northwestern at just the full scholarship sport with basketball and you were getting pretty young-but not spending all that money so I was saving it. You know it, and sometimes you do that by Christmas gifts right for my you know we we get here. We would play in the Big Ten the basketball conference tournament and in the conference would get clearance to issue a get number one time we got a TV at the Just plain participating participation awards right for part in the Big Ten conference tournament.

We are getting TV.

That was back in the 90s self humor to happy back then I would say the free education you get in going to a school like Northwestern and so I can't back then about you know what the student athletes are getting paid and and how they are getting paid and they are getting benefit, but sport landscape is changing and now I've I've split and and and I see that you know he Northwestern theater student has the capability of getting benefits are getting paid in and outside forces, you know, why can't a Northwestern football player Northwestern basketball player do the think that you know social media which didn't exist.

You know when when we were in college that change the world and and now do not believe have become better their own best marketers right so you know my concern is that of many. I think that the house that I have not only separate more and so my concern is that the rich getting richer and so obviously I think there has to be some regulations to be put in place within IL I'm not smart enough to let you know what those can't be, and I also recognize.

Sometimes we put in the wrong regulations and regulations and themselves have been a problem. But if you I'm glad my job is not in those negotiations betting round, and that I just put on the headset and talk about athletes in the sport they play Lisa after joining us today here on the rich eyes and so you are doing something very special. What is that what I'm getting a young woman, Reagan Holgate and she just graduated from Michigan State and she is the first pottery of the legal binding award and it's a little bit weird for me to say the name of that award, but it is not okay that I chose it was something actually, the whole concept of it. I was surprised by the Big Ten conference in the Big Ten network and so I think it would push the little bit by Commissioner Kevin Warren and it came you know on the on the heels of the Milwaukee Bucks make the higher make me the voice of the Milwaukee Bucks and Commissioner Warren in the Big Ten conference in the Big Ten network wanted to do something to put my name to it. You honor the best. A female broadcaster and in the student you world, and the student you world is all 14 Big Ten schools.

They have programs for all the students that although school to be a part of games to broadcast games.

Whether it behind the camera or in front of the camera and end-of-the-year one and so I Reagan Holgate was our winter sheet from Michigan State. He is an awesome awesome broadcaster, and even better person and I were meeting with her today and part of the award is to get the free lunch in Chicago you get the citizen to her throughout the Big Ten network Studios today will take her crucial get the tape actually could stop herself and then forget to sit back and look at the control room and and watch actually the big show which is being taped today, so get to sit through that and maybe ask the questions that she did get like that. The best the house to watch a network go to work here today. That's okay, Lisa can congratulations to Reagan. Congratulations to you once against the Lisa Byington award honoring the top female student you broadcaster every year. This is your one Reagan can have an awesome time today. We really appreciate you spending some time with us here in the rich eyes and show all the icon vibes for Lisa Byington. Lisa hope to see you soon all right from one Alpena alum to the back for having me on anytime you got it lisa Byington absolute trailblazer here in broadcasting to so much to me she was doing the big three this weekend basketball doing football for Big Ten network. The Lisa Byington award.

How cool is that to have an award named after you because of all the stuff that that you've already accomplished and speaking of folks that have accomplished stuff we had an erotic test coming up next tennis Hall of Famer another legend in his own right.

Steve Wiseman filling in for Rich today on the rich eyes and show don't go anywhere. Does your antiperspirant keep you dry all day. Dove men plus your dry spray goes on instantly drive for cleaner fuel and offers 48 hours. What an order protection repeat – 48 hours of sweat. In order protection using and don't even think about it. Also dove men dry spray contains doves unique one quarter moisturizing cream. It helps protect your skin trying dove men plus care dry spray goes on dry cleaning field all day. Shadow producer Mike because that is the best intro for our next guest. Brooklyn Decker joining Rich a few years ago here on the rich eyes and so Steve Wiseman in for Rich today. The whole family on the show as we got all of them tennis player Hall of Fame human, my friend, my colleague Andy Roddick joining us on the Mercedes-Benz vans phone line and it will we just had broke on the show.

I don't know if you're able to hear that but but how's Bob Costas doing the Wiseman Bob Wolcott good trip when you recall, you will Wolcott ready to be picked up this report. I looked up to Bob cost us a lot grown-ups.

I think that's that's a really cool name for a dog for this, like, prep for TC live tonight that we were to be joining forces in about seven, eight hours for a show from Canada. I know you're probably watching tennis right now. Serena and Venus Williams are playing Canada Serena's actually uncle right now get this monitor in front me with six different tree. She took the first set against the real paresis DS so U.S. Open is in three weeks. First instant analysis.

If you been watching Serena what have you seen what I care less about how she look kind of in the court that she can get her mad even if it not her best, which it honestly be crazy to think that you cannot come out of the gate with anything near her about cricket .1.what calendar year. I do love that you try to get some reps in the far ahead of U.S. Open coach kind of in the past has kind of a mini plate, one leading event or maybe not going to slam. Sometimes I don't think she can get away with that. Now having been off so long but if she can get two or three matches a couple weeks in a row going to U.S. Open them. You know she got shot actually went the matches and let's not get carried away fish, but I think the only chance she has to make a big one in New York City is to the kind of the wind. Her base over the next couple weeks. Serena playing right now. Venus Williams can play later today. She's 42's reason to turn 41 in September Canada this week. The first tournament. Andy were you be Roger Fetter was. I was at the Canadian Masters. It's Roger Fetter's birthday. He turns 41 today. Happy birthday Roger. By the way, how much more tennis. Do you think were to see if Roger Fetter's group O man, what were one of the law actually represent the will of God?

But I don't know. I don't think will Roger come back up you'll compete 3 to 5 set over the course of seven matches take to win a grand slam.

I do hope that you get to go out on his own terms you currently scheduled the plane to event or the end of this calendar year labor cup at the two men involved, which is its own term of the stadium actually named Dr. Ramirez.

So I think a lot of better sense after seeing him after tournaments were not going to have acute physical toll the body indoors throughout respect not have your condition at labor cup. He owns the event so therefore you can come and install as needed. Maybe it double-click profit which would be unbelievable prophecy one more time to go back on that European Timorese on the European team so I don't. I'm not super optimistic looking forward to next year.

Time is undefeated right so I don't automatically think you gonna be better when he comes back he wasn't the favorite slam when he was hurt but I also know knowing Roger that he doesn't want his lot competitive set to be at 60 law it at Wimbledon, so I'm happy that you kind of schedule at rehab long process. The kind of have the opportunity go out of term, but he certainly deserved. No luck.

I will always be your biggest type men and erotic and 21 and three.

This is the record but I will also point out you one. The last time you will play so I went out a letter against Roger yeah I haven't really spent a decade of my life beating everyone except them is that my last like four months on tour. I only thought about this candidate was debuted in 26 labor cup widget which I think is fascinating want to talk a little bit more about the fact that we got Roger Fetter, Rafael the doll know that Joe convention Andy Murray all playing on the same team. How cool is that you pretty everything to me. I think the only real call if you're just going purely team competition. You know when it's actually pretty serious about would be maybe the dream team and 92 with with team USA but to have the guys you pretty much have all the title to almost 20 years now. I think especially because we don't know Murray playing with metal hip. Roger has always had an issue with metal to the fourth plague in 15 month Novak and Roth are playing great but you thought were also kind of one physical ailment away will recently don't take a helper grinned at this point, so it is nice that the wrong team together. I think it will be more the celebration of their careers and what they've accomplished.

Obviously anymore, it's kind of hometown adopted home country. There appear to Roger so popular. Novak Roth if it's good to be fantastic in it seemed like labor cup would be there at the right place for that take place because it is a made-for-TV event. They lecture the locker room they let you get a conversation. It's the best access point that we have the attendant you were so what better place to be.

Arc should actually be able to come out take a peek behind the curtain with those for. I cannot wait for you will be on tennis channel and you brought out the dream team. Today is the 30th anniversary of the dream team winning the gold medal 92 Olympics in Barcelona maybe Croatia and they took on the goal to reclaim the goal for the United States Oaks because of that cage match. You got the big three Roger Rothman Novak against the big three magic bird Jordan what happens when I am in trouble.

Either way, but the way you have an argument with all three of whom were the best of all time right and you can you pretty much anyone of those three from the three that you pick from the dream team in the note of perspective there both. They're all great but magic bird you don't often hear the greatest of all time conversation know whether or not it's kind of the way it is. So all take three that are in the conversation about the all-time Roger also Novak versus the great you mentioned were Jordan, Walnut is consistently in my conversation tennis once again rules. I expect nothing less from you and erotic. We talk about these incredible legends playing in that 40 years plus Serena Venus I Roger you announced your retirement on your 30th birthday, played a few matches after that what goes into that decision for an elite athlete. Well I like mine were different.

I can't really compare the rates but for me it was when I thought that I couldn't catch lightning in a bottle and make a run to the semifinal slam right into it and so I knew that I had to go through guys for those guys as a ranking slip became a lot tougher. I was having a harder time putting motivation and really lucky like from the house but one Tortorella to her, but there were the lower cheers and for me there is other stuff I want to do and I just didn't know if I could. My shoulder hold up through seven matches to be the greatest players of all time. So it was a long thought out process like what kind of working with Serena and Roger would have been all time still trying to come back. I decided the morning that I would target outgoing retirement would cut it all acted a lot more responsibly in many ways, but I have bought throughout the year. So I do think they should be afforded whatever process they want to take a cut you off when you read stuff like that you just retired like you to retire from sitting on the couch and having them opinion you know it doesn't make any sense ambitious, however they want to finish is how they should. I totally agree with you. Every athlete a little bit different and whatever makes them happy for being out on the court and making a second round third round by the way I want to see it because anytime we can see these legends play and and witnessed them doing their thing. I think it is extremely special. So whether the plan, 40, 41, it's cool for me to see you talk about you know U.S. Open coming up and sell them inside. It's a little bit wide-open but we've got this kinda curios who is is a bit brash, he got to the finals. Wimbledon lost a Novak joke and it's pretty just one in DC yesterday. The singles and doubles these 118 of his last 19 matches. He's got a huge following in tennis. Where is he going to your favorites U.S. Open conduct their humming. Obviously were dealing with kind of a Novak. I think Novak would cut only person you could point you in the clear favorite. If you become your best not currently stand, we don't know how healthy Roth is off of the torn abdomen where he couldn't played out semifinal gift curios to Steve for a long time.

I questioned no one but no one ever questioned physical ability. In my opinion he's the only person on earth, whose physical talent can rival the big three that we were to talk about right.

And so, but physical talent has no equal physical fitness. It certainly have an equal mental readiness throughout the course of his career navigating through Wimbledon getting through best-of-five set matches playing in this pressure moment. Those are all good things for Nick and it would've gone one of two ways.

On the heels of that Wimbledon traditionally when he's done well. He's kind of been satisfied, and admit he coasted through the next couple of months. Big big deal Steve that he goes in the Washington which is a pretty big event in the lead in the lead up to U.S. Open condition outside metal stadiums is breathing on you humidity to go through single and double and not the top out mentally or physically big big sign.

I was running. I remember us being on and you cut about a similar question and everything. I don't know if you have the body earth put in the work to actually get to matches getting through a tough, tough love terminal I got in DC with those conditions.

Big big sign for Nick euros I think it put them into the top two maybe three favorites U.S. Open top two or three favorites U.S. Open Nick here is said that a year ago now is back inside the top 40 just want to couple a title he's winning multiple doubles titles that he seems focused and he told us you know after Wimbledon and losing that that if you'd one he would be with kind of checked out at that point is favorite tournament Wimbledon all time growing up.

I've done everything I need. I'm done. Now he has something to shoot for. They know that Jovovich gave him a lot of encouragement and then to keep fighting and keep going for some looking forward to seeing what he does in New York. Anyone positively came out of COBIT was was getting to work with you getting to know you. You would on radio before you worked at FS one.

What made you want to get back into into broadcasting and specifically tennis. I don't know that I would put around there for me. It had never been about what you know with lack of love or lack of interest in what's going on. Certainly to do whatever I can. But all the fun COBIT happens, the president of that from not having to travel to everything you know, having been one of our leaders attend a funeral you normally have to travel a lot in the tent if you will come want them to pay for basic knowledge of something Outlook really going to be with a young family and kind of other other priorities and so given the chance during COBIT you will let me and let me on errors. Luckily, I had you to guide me but I was happy to talk about my first log you noted that the precedent was set from being able to collect broadcast from your closet or your attic or wherever you might want to and so good I had fun at you but have fun and it's been a continued relationship with you notes.

It's no wonder we don't have anything real formal and might I just enjoy showing up. One afternoon I still enjoy talking chocolate about them not not cool, like one back back at work and it is awesome to have you. We are so grateful to have you on tennis channel to send me your perspective this is like none other. And you know it's been good getting to know you as well. In addition to tennis and erotic. You are the co-owner of a golf course and a bourbon with Peyton Manning Hall of Famer Peyton Manning just one Hall of Famer to another. How did that come about and what's it like to work with pain about what you would think you get on that basically O'Connor and I don't like you going to be about bourbon. The thought of her (but it would not be refigured, you know we'd written recoated. Peyton Manning and Paul after he was interested and so you know, that was that men are working with.

You know that the weekly Wednesday call.

Very into detail surprising to everyone.

Everyone rolled not if not kind of book a leap to imagine what you would've been like a hawk in a huddle, but you need to slow down all retired. You have something going on with the production company of people along with the Eli is an alternative broadcast option during football games with you because I want to do it. All you doing it.

Also within the it's been fun to work with them on this venture and obviously were better for you. Talk shop at all about your careers about broadcasting what you're doing now.

Not really pretty, pretty, business centric, no I don't think he really cares what I did. I don't know that we need to rehash you know that the 12 yard output used across I think our world trying to grow a brand room 13. Currently, growing your your readers why, make up, make great Brandon, you know, we provide the resources for a plunder. He threw up without a great product cannot cannot wait for us to wait and so that my bottle of sweet and scope. Another three W./mop everyone else and Annie were trying to promote stuff you got a big platform on social media. Nearly 1/2 million followers. The content is.

I love the content.

How would you characterize the content that you put out probably pretty polarizing. I have a printed a lot about… I really, but your article to dribble my twitter account data drug told you that I see this in 10 days is better than Eminem set up a minute.

My friend Paul little from one of the revisiting critical thinking. I got Your article. I don't work with some guy named Dave Mike okay will come got into a critical time. He was just could've been more pull else, how to throw it out there to the Twitter verse and see if I was the crazy one.

Turns out I'm not in a specific scenario, but he was all going to do like my tweet unity with a touch on what would happen if you do not tell Collins that I feel like that's your number one: moving love affair during with meaningful costs is sent out lady. I really appreciate you taking the time. I appreciate your friendship. I look forward to working with you later today.

TC live 1030 Eastern on tennis channel will see if Serena can pull through and this was kind of like your your rehearsal for the markups placed in rehearsal. We got a rehearsal on the rich eyes and show Rupert or whoever wife minute, what about all I love you too. Thank you so much and erotic tennis Hall of Famer great guy, and by the way, a Hall of Fame text back or you say it but just it is there certain people you send out a text and I got right back to you.

See I like that that's and erotic. Most people these days.

That announcement takes him a few minutes with you and read the linked text leave you in red is the worst heads the worst minutes. When you see you three like little dots come up and you think you're getting a reply back in Legoland. Here's that yeah that's like the worst. So if that's one of two things. I feel like one either. They've decided not to continue to come to their actually writing something really long yeah sometimes it goes away and then you get like you know the full seven paragraphs are sure sure that you didn't want either just pick up the phone and call Mr. Scully hello Jesus and erotic is the emoji guy yes he is he's he's given his given heart.

Emoji was such a good dude honestly like you know I was. I was a big fan of his guys a tennis player growing up in the last American to win a major and just very self-deprecating, great personality guy and then you know to be thrown on a show with them during the pandemic and and just getting to know him organically has has been awesome. And then you know I can just text them to talk tennis anytime. It's right back to me for this shows like Andy doing the show on Mondays, like anything for you. How cool is cool was that maybe I should ask them shoot, so are we betting the curio swimming is open.

He said top two or three 2025 to 1. Write out a win. Yes yeah as long as you draft kings.

Let's go. Let's do it right. He's playing really well.

I have been watching since the eyewash I was a will that all that fun stuff. He was yelling at nobody and fans in particular because everything is so fun. I think these are good to type a young exciting personality that tennis needs is full on board said there are some controversial things surrounding that. But overall I think Roger's been on the court for you is great for the sport of tennis stabilizing filling in for Rich today on the rich eyes and show you another hour to come. Got Kurt Warner at other Hall of Famer talk about Dick for a meal and more accurate with the Steve Wiseman filling in for Rich on the rich eyes and show rich doing such a spectacular job this past weekend at the Hall of Fame hosting the Hall of Fame dinner making headlines at the Hall of Fame dinner roasting Ohio State in the lead in our coverage on NFL network. During the ceremony.

Eight new members of the Hall of Fame. We got Brockman in the house to get Dell to focus. We got CJ a couple things I've noticed in the studio one TJ the candle you explain and what you like Mike TJ 30 hot in here turn your my turn your mind like it is no good atmosphere little ambience and I got a friend who has room candle companies with discrete candles and you know she hooks me up and overhears his Woods Creek is that the kind the you hear the candle, critical to the best just to name it. So I think she was in Carolina the name of it so here love the atmosphere and I noticed in front adult info John Wertheim's book now Michael's written without Michael's booklet written with my guy John Wertheim. You can make the stuff out right L John Wirthlin great author also fellow colleague on tennis and Brockman is taken two hours to get but I that I write back.

I'm not a father and you are just put that to the side like you can come over here and I know you know back at some point, but I don't want it to you because I don't rich being that, but if you take it. Now come take it okay although Ryan's good brightly to be here the rest and so is a better father than you a question.

He's certainly taller and bigger than I am so afraid to just take it away from me since I fell headlines for Wednesday's medical news real quick. Am I kidding no report of his news from the world of sports and entertainment someone is not a journalist is saying that they're just not I have guys breaking news, we got a new contract in Baltimore. Oh, not Lamar Jackson and Justin Justin Zucker future Hall of Fame kicker signed a four-year extension $24 million at 17 million guaranteed for Justin Tucker, one kick for your life. One kick for your life. 53 yards housing to say that closer out and Mark Mosley Walker or Adam Vinatieri who one kick for your life.

TJ about this. It's snowing it's snowing me and you got one kick for your life and I very Vinatieri. I paralyzing the way you take one I'll gladly take the other one is going to toast each other.

We were done. That is probably right guard some other NFL headlines with Josh Jacobs earlier, Josh McDaniel said the team is not trying to trade him which only makes me believe that they are and they just haven't got a haven't got a good enough offer yet. Let's see McKay Bakhtin is bad news for Jets fans. McKay Bakhtin carted off today with knee injury was, hobbling around, but Robert Sala said there's no panic about it so that's a good deals on his same knee that he had missed most of last year with that, CJ, Mrs. Winston tweaked his foot rolled his ankle in practice today give you one guess you guys have any idea of the saints backup is you guys know that I take some pills but I think I do know is they don't. Andy Dalton is the saints backup disk. I can't quit us and we can't quit him.

We were having a first team all here but anyway we'll see how it's going there with James Winston would see the ravens activated JK Dobbins off the pup was doing this all last year with an ACL ACL tear that he had during during training camp, so that's good news airfares. If you look out for him would see what else you got anything else out there and as I mentioned earlier, Baker Mayfield is inside track to start a week one Baker Baker. I think that's a way to go and cream hunt is apparently demanded to trade their out of Cleveland and the team basically said no I will just says no hey I would like to be God. Note sorry we were not getting rid of you seen a lot of other folks though demand trades and I get paid so you get paid to play only 27 years old so I got to get the one-two punch him in the child that sets a dangerous backfield they have a need Kareem Hahn stabilizing filling in for Rich on the rich eyes and show Kurt Warner still come next hour. One thing I talked about earlier to the NJ customer agrees with the quarterbacks in the in the AFC West salon there and I sent Russell Wilson for me was fourth in that list.

I'm curious to get your thoughts now are we looking at like heading into the season this year. You want one through four. Yes we having payment. We need to take kick game at all seasons and Cassie's postseason change in one game I think change is then Russell would be higher deftly to unit. Rich Rich is been all WDs been all in on the Raiders. I don't know that he put car number one necessarily there, but he's deafly all in on them. It's for good quarterbacks man, you really do. I do question though, just kinda touching back to something MJ said and I don't know if I believe this or not, but are we kind of like overrating the charges a little bit based upon what they've done in the past, which is making people go. Why are you so more people picking a Super Bowl well I mean they're in the conversation in conversation. MJ said that people are pretty high on the Chargers at the most. Some people say just don't get enough respect. That's what she said. She said I was watching the show today and they were hyping up the Chargers like there are a step away from the Super Bowl so it's kind of curious is when totals, high the desert hasn't 10 1/2 same as the Chiefs really you got a generational quarterback Malachi. I have him behind my homes on my list of her but I think for this year. I'd rather have Herbert then the home so I will let people why what would know to refill. Okay, that because I see you are ready to put patch my homes on the Mount Rushmore of all quarterbacks and now you're saying now. He lost one guy is the winemaker submits a big guy, but now you're saying is no longer that dude that you thought he was talking about just the season right yeah but still feel the guy that you were willing to put on the Mount Rushmore up there with Brady and he is him is amazing for this season. Herbert was full, weapons. It's interesting to guys like come on really I yeah I just yeah I mean see him really good time to kill really was a rich call and let us know your thoughts for the real story behind some of wrestling's biggest moments something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson to all-time high the phone as much of the conversation wears on a motion on there was number one is not even going before you know Holcombe was a baby face Holt and Andres were able to go in headlines for New Orleans Superdome at Shea Stadium in Japan wherever they went. That was an attraction something to wrestle with Bruce Prichard listen wherever you get your podcast
