Let me know senior radio schedule. You hear the old trailblazer anytime you would like over the Internet and go there to serve in audios you get old trailblazer in your past Shelton. Let's get back to our study, we come down sparely close to the end of the study. On the 11th chapter of Hebrews is been a great a great time here studying God were taken our time. But if you have your Bibles open with me now to the 11th chapter of Hebrews and Lesko led to the 35th verse Hebrews 1135. I hope you enjoy the study and hope you pray with me pretty informative while we try to expound God were just a little bit you folks out there we listen we listen. I wish everyone of your looseness for eternity. And I say this often, this may be the last message you have here.

I'm so conscious that we are nearing the end of time until I'm crying on to you as if it was my last opportunity of making God's word plane. This is not child's play. My friend old Sir no Sir, if it was, I just quit.

We have a book and hereby past Shelton call play in church. If you'd like to read that you write me and I'll send it to you free and postpaid because I'm afraid that's what many of our modern day preachers and pastors are doing play in church but listen, knowing the reality knowing the reality of the Lord, knowing the only hope of any individual is tied up in Christ. I want you to know him. I do, I want my folks to know about what my family to know and so list list list. Get started now let's look at the 35th verse of the 11th chapter of Hebrews. I hope you have your Bible, and we talk about faith.

Faith is a victory. 35 women received their dead raised to life again and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance that they might obtain a better resurrection and others had trials of cruel Moroccans and discouraging yeah. However, bonds and improved imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sewn asunder tempted slain with the sword. They wanted about in sheepskins and goatskin being destitute, afflicted and tormented, of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and in mountains and dens and caves of the error and these are all having obtained a good report through faith received not the promise God having provided some better thing for us that they without us should not be made perfect RB brought to maturity in the promise analysis. Let's look in our last study we saw there. Many of the characters in God's word. A Gideon Baker act. Samson and David Samuel others who falling one by faith, and I only hope I only defense I only offense I whip in his faith in the son of God. I weapons are not carnal is not fleshly. No, we can go out on the street with a sword or handgun know we go by faith in the in in in the Lord alone is able to conquer. That's all we have an offering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

That's all I have intent.

Time after time when I come here bringing you guys measured. I know we have our critical.

I know we have folks who don't care for the gospel. I know those things. I know every bit of MI discouraged, no, no. Often times I may become discouraged for little bit but then I look back and see what the Lord pick me up about this old senator know the Lord. Give me grace to trust him now for all of these years and he gave me this promise many many years ago which is certain I'll be which and I took that just is just as if the Lord spoke to me. I know he didn't speak to me. I know that now let's look at all of these thing in the way of introduction and service at this time they call your attention to some facts that just take our word study made the highest point which faith can reach is to suffer for the Lord Jesus Christ to meekly ensure whatever afflictions Lord is pleased to put upon us and to lay down our lives for the Lord, you say well hidden in salvation bit of cherry roses. No no no is not know, but is to lay down our lives for the sake of the truth if if we are called upon to do so now we going to see in another study, or to that we've not resisted on the blood would not resisted on the blood.

Some of us think we suffer, we don't know, my friend. We don't suffer. I don't we don't suffer even physically, much less spiritually you going to the nursing home or the rest home there in your area and walk up and down those calls. You don't have to go visit anybody you walk up and down those halls and you see those people whose minds have drifted away in a staring out of two eye sockets were there is no no no sign of visibility. There no sign you see those and then you go in the hospital corridors enabling the surgical room surgical halls at work folks have been operated on her being operated on and you hear the pain in the suffer now, my friend, listen, listen, some of us think we suffer and maybe we do, but nothing like the old prophet suffered no nothing like they suffered nothing like the apostles and early Christian suffered and others through the centuries have suffered for the Lord Jesus Christ for disabled in the Scripture say they were stone. They were sewn asunder, they were tempted, were slain with the sword. Remember the story of Stephen there. I was stoned to death. My friend, we don't that's barbaric.

We know that that we don't have those things now do it.

No I don't.

I hope not, you now know in some of the some of those countries over there. They still have what we call crude ways of punishing folks and just for just for their own go those religious beliefs are to have but my friend, you and I if you live here in America and we live in a place where there is no such a thing is that we suffer sure we do with not being stoned and not being folks can haul even criticizing no more Kenneth, no, sir. But listen, listen, nothing like the apostles in the early Christians and others throughout the century have suffered for the Lord but there were highest point of faith is to suffer under the lash of persecution suffer affliction for the Lord Jesus Christ and for his sake and for his truth with contentment, quietness, calmness because what faith in the Lord, the average individual today that I come into contact with. If he has total suffer a little. He's murmuring and complaining folks folks folks suffer now ingrown toenail. You think that the world was, do you know something is a no no no that's reason enough though you folks many of you have had all of that book on strange tales.

There are several stories in there of people who work stricken down in the early Asian lay on the bed of affliction for 30 years 40 years could do nothing but raise ahead up to get a drink of water and they never complain folks waited on and when they came to die. They praise the Lord, my friend, not suffering for the Lord sake. Now I Paul here is showing those Hebrew Christians that all through the history of the human race. And I say Paul because my belief is that the apostle Paul wrote the book of Hebrews.I have no definite proof. Maybe you do, but I've got just all all almost automatic that I saved the apostle Paul.

Because the writings are very similar to the language you use a very similar but who regardless of who wrote it. He's showing these Hebrew Christians that all through the history of the human race. Those who were saved suffered those who were saved suffered afflictions and torments, and many of them on martyr's death for the sake of the truth and for the Lord Jesus Christ. Now we have our martyrs mirrors yearbook called martyrs mirrors my friend is so is or is a gracious book and it is if you if you can't. If you can't take all reading and studying the deaths and the cruel death of those great old men of God, you don't. You don't need to read it.

But if you'd like to read those you write me now culture price on it. I don't have it in front of, but I just tell you the story in in one of his brother Paul what brother John Bunyan's stores about his blind daughter. There was a there was a woman it befriended some of those people and I see she just furnished him a place to stay may vary. Some neat, but they found out about the persecutors found out about it and I forget her name now know what you want to read that book you read the story of Mary Bunyan and this lady, this woman had befriended several pastors and preachers back in those days when they had to slip around hi DiPrete and they found out about someone informed owner in a coming-out house and got her and dragged her down the street there in a public street and Benson tottered to the steak and burn her to stake my friend. We don't know anything about that. We have privileges all listen we don't have to suffer like that and I praise the Lord we don't let my friend suffering is where we learn, suffering, mental suffering of physical suffering is where we learn of the grace of God, and those things you like to work verse we read that where they were stone sewn asunder in song and an and all of those things and we don't have that get you just praise the Lord for that.

I asked my folks here and I asked you did you ever get up in the morning. Thank you Lord for a free country. We still living in a free country. We may have many objections to what's going on in our government.

I do but I did that I know was in the Lord, saying, and I know one thing of the Lord said he did not put more on us and we can bear.

And I think we ought to be aware what's going on and try to win the election time can't vote for someone is decent and in the God-fearing, I do for my friend. We have a lot to praise the Lord for we not imprisoned for our for our belief we not know the most radical person in the world. Most terrible person can spout off his belief in the no law, or they would if it was over there somewhere in one of those Asian countries had it heavy at home by the by the toenail but my friend, we are blessed we are blessed and the possible hall here was just showing these Christians that all through the history, those who were saved were suffered, suffered, we might go into it in our next study a little bit of the sufferings of the apostle Paul read there, how that he was shipwrecked. Remember that story we told I was shipwrecked on that ship, and they've all they were. He was a prisoner, but the Lord delivered them and deliver them on that island and in that way. They were all saved were not one of them lost and in all of those things you don't have a career that goal and read it in the book of acts and before next study, but we we just looking it.

Many of them were mortars on the death for the sake of the truth not not for students and secular thing, but for the sake of the truth that they want to preach the truth and you and if you would preach the gospel, you have the privilege of preaching God's word as it is to manage the all. This is the old trailblazer broadcast time goes away so rapidly and I remember my mailing address, the old trailblazer PO Box 1810, Walker, LA 70785 and my website go there, look@radiomissions.org and you can look there you can find streaming on our own are but go to our webpage and find street live streaming you could find old trailblazer broadcast anytime of day you'd like to let a sermon audio you find sermon by the pastor LR Shelton seen it also by the old trailblazer net right me.
