This is the old trailblazer broadcast is a fast out-of-print Dorothy old translator writing our whole day again. At this time. Blazing the path of the hearts of sinners. This is Pascal Pindar's pastor here radio missions where the gospel is going out this get back to our study we look in their and 11 chapter of Hebrews and we had come down were Josh away, leading the children of Israel around the city of Jericho that it might be taken we'd seen.

There were extra hot buys and sought out horror rehab and she was waiting there with a scarlet line in the winter and now we come to that seventh day going around the walls seven times and they believed that they those folks believe. Now listen, I believe it Jericho was going to fall. Don't you than they believe it to the children of Israel believe it, but what about those folks that were inside, they knew nothing about it know they'll that they knew nothing about. Just like many of our folks who've never been awaken to their lost condition ever been troubled about this so I tell you is terrible to be there myself, my friend, except the Lord by his grace and by the Holy Spirit. Awaken me one day and give me grace to go there and listen to the trail but listen to the past.

Listen to the truth. Listen to the truth. It was faith expecting it is expecting I was going there to church on a regular basis.

Expecting this may be the day that the Lord saves this poor sinner. Listen to what the Scripture said what so thanks what things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.

#1124 get time after while goal and read it read that verse.

Pastor Shelton told the story of this mission.

There labored for years and saw not a single soul to his minister.

Sometime we get that same feeling when some of his far distant friends in England wrote him saying they wish symptom was to make him a present and asked him to specify what it should be and he answered a communion set a communion set. They said yes send me a communion set. I want communion set we going to have we going to have folks we all need a communion set we going to we going to eat the Lord's supper together. A communion months after the set arrived more than a dozen converted natives set down with old Moffat the old evangelist the old missionary to remember the Lord death by the time that communion set got there dozens of them sat down with him remembering the Lord that I want to tell you some friend you and I we need to believe the Lord, the Scripture says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. And I know I know that we have a watered-down version of believing that I'll tell you the story of a man I used to hear on the radio in the late night coming home from one of the mission place. It and I would hear this man and he was he was patriotic, very gracious man told a lot of war stories, but then he would bring a little message a little devotional. I called it at the end of his message and he would he would encourage folks to to the trust the Lord in trying to come on trust the Lord and he say now you want to be safe you will be save pray this prayer you want to be say.

Pray this prayer and most of all, most folks say yeah will be saved.

He said now he read the prayer Jesus, I'm sorry I've sinned against the and I'm sorry I did this and I'm sorry I did that and and I like to be saved and he said no that you prayer that you prayer. You pray that prayer you save in all my friend. I raised my eyebrows look at my wife and I sincerely watered-down. God bless what we call a watered-down gospel we have that all over America right now. Pastors and preachers standing behind their pool. Giving out that little invitation to come down to the front shake that preachers cannot preach had no more saving grace in his hand and a frog does my friend. I know I was there. That's what happened to me. I went down and shook that little preachers and one night and he told me I was saved. He baptized me that same night I went on down the road a few days when John the Sunday school class when in there never had been in the Sunday school class and a lot and I we got out and had an elderly gentleman taught the Sunday school gracious old man. And when we come out about half a dozen men lit up the cigarettes and exceed garden stood around on outside smoking until 11 o'clock service. Come on.

I said my my, you know, I thought I thought folks had a new know I found out that they had just as much as most folks and much as I did with the Lord ever left me there. I just had to give you this word of testimony. The Lord never left me there. I've I have a great, great love for the providence of God and by the providence of God, the Lord put me in touch with old old trailblazer old pastor on Shelton Senior back there under an old gospel tenet. I called but an old-fashioned gospel message while you call it old-fashioned jailbait because it was the truth, it was you talk about the total depravity man talk about the sovereignty of God talks about how the Christ came to seek and to save lost sinners. He never had anything to do. His message never mentioned making the decision for Jesus never mentioned shaking his hand. None of those thing in the Lord took that message on my heart.

After a few nights there I believe the first night I've heard them.

I knew that I was missing some ideas I knew I was mission so my friend but listen after the Lord deal with your heart that comes at believing, trusting the Bible says that Abraham believed God, and it was accounted on to him for righteousness. Listen we have to believing Faith is an expectancy. Did you know that faith not only in the salvation of sinner, but faith in expecting things in your home to happen in this work here, I believe, day by day as I go out I go forth. I'm looking for the Lord to save sinners on believing.

I'm believing I'm like that man.

Send me a communion set amount needed for long.

Well, we have folks once in a while the Lord saves one not mass and not the masses.

I feel folk you know how you can tell where the truth of being preach my throat.

They say wow you do that, pastor I say you go down the road down the highway and you see a big church out on the front there was a big sign all that and across in the steeple and all that stuff and all the parking lot is slam pool on Sunday morning. There is no truth going out there my friend.

People will have the truth you know that I had a black man called me not long ago from St. Louis, Missouri said Mr. trailblazer. I want to tell you I'm a black man would us as a sovereign grace preacher sovereign grace. I said my my my love sound like a very odd combination. Don't you said you write about that not many of us spoke preacher sovereignty of God.

I still imagine some how many, how might be a congregation you have brother. He said I got 14 I said well it sounds me like you preaching the truth because where the truth is, preach, you'll have me.

I know that the Lord can send him I know that I'm not I'm not limiting the Lord I'm saying. As a rule today. Folks want smooth preach.

I want to smooth thing they want to hear Jesus loves everybody. They want to hear that and in when I go to funerals all over the country or conduct bills once in a while I go to the funeral. I hear the preacher stand up and talk about uncle Joe and Alcatel nightmare, Holly. What a gracious old. I was annoyed going on to be with the Lord you look in uncle Tom's background. You look there little bit. You will find a Hildale all my friend. The preachers don't have guts enough don't have guts enough. Someone call me about a funeral another day and I asked her what the preacher said that he didn't say a thing except I gracious this poor old lady will all of the accolades all the laws they put upon my friend asked watered-down the gospel. That's what's going on in our religious world today.

Did you know that is I asked you to.

I asked you to take stock or you say are you are you are you rooted and grounded. Do you have a new heart. Do you have a new life. Do you have a new spirit. Do you have a new hope will I'm doing this. Good luck next. Can I want to tell you also recommend this book by Mr. John Ashworth entitled the strange tales is one of the most gracious books I've ever read set there in England in 1800s.

This old man Mr. John Ashworth was a preacher and he created a church called a house of the destitute. He went into the highways in the gutters and the hedges in the brothels and ended in their places of all fields and rags and got those folks out and got him to come to church and now the Lord saved many, many of them and they gave their testimony. I can I can read you. I've been reading through the second time now, strange tales and I'll make it this offer.

If you don't like it. If it doesn't bless your heart, you can keep it and South send you money back guarantee I'll send you the money back. I'll take money out of my pocket. I thought I gave up after one the other day and I said I won't tell you this, a revolution or revolutionize you preaching if you don't if you if you just promise me you will read it and he did.

He promised me he'd read so I'm looking forward to hear from but listen faith looking at faith. Walking with the Lord just walking with him in the morning walk we did not there to your job.

Maybe you catch a bus while you wait for the bus will walk with the Lord you talk with the Lord in this my friend through the day that your workbench there on the back 40.

Out there bailing hay early in the morning. This believe Lord you can trust the Lord.

I ought to.

I guarantee that you can trust the Lord walk with him day in day out. Just believe a life of faith, a life of faith is just believing is that the way you live in freedom is at the way you living is that is that you hope or you just have no have no sound footing. We sing a song of the night in church on Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. Can you saying that I can't. You know what you what is you hope my friends I was speaking about the two to foundation one man built on the San Juan men beautiful rock who was one of you think stood when the winds blew and the time come over adversity. Oh my friend Melissa. Listen, I time just by so quick, but will be back next day tomorrow for next time and I just appreciate you you folk And it was a broadcast many of you have done that since we gone these new station and lady sent me thousand dollars a day should pass to put that on the new Brockett sway the Lord supplies her money here all know we don't have any weed out the endowed by any philanthropist $we have folks with a given spirit. Did you know what this old lady told me one time. She said pastor I know I'm saved because the Lord loves a cheerful giver and I'm a cheerful giver and I spoke about giving you the last few days got under some people roll rhinoceros hi little bit they accuse me of begging for money. If you know me you know that I've never done it. I just asked you to hit me if you can deceptively can I have folks in mere dollars. I have folks in real dollars a week. Something pastor Shelton told me lady back there in your years ago. Send him a three cent stamp every week back when Stanford three cents as long time ago. It cinema three cent stamp ever ever week and I praise Lord I have to three prisoners that send me stamps and that's all they can do they say passes. All I can do.
