No welcome masculine glad today and in this is such a cool topic. We can talk about here in second Robby were only about a month away from something really really cool right that's right it would be like 30 boot camp he yeah pretty close.

You're right in that general ballpark and how much fun as I like. While yeah I think about five weeks away from the Saturday to distended after the Thursday that we could stuff off on 18 November, the week before Thanksgiving. One opportunity yeah yeah we we talked about doing a show which is not Tonight Show on the reasons need to come to boot camp that week before Thanksgiving my get that and I know God keeps given his other topics, and so will switch over our friend Jim and Jim this week is is your topic. Yes, we have such stay no serious show here regularly. I wanted to mix things up and go crazy. So this is how to maintain sanity in an insane world. Yeah, I think a lot of people would agree that it's kind of a crazy time. You know it's been a crazy release last few years is nothing more, and I think by the end of the show, you'll realize that you crazy bulimia but how to deal with it is what were looking at.

Hopefully get Harold to talk about, you know, before any of us were born and what happened back then you know what were talking on the show and he's got us all bait significantly for the car. When asked about any microphone you want to say something good for you. I didn't think about that mean I guess we could get a different aspect of what it was like back in oh 500 years ago and how crazy it was. And Moses came down from the mountain almost gone. We love you, Harold. We love making fun of it so gently we have a clear but it's not your clip at Sandy script. That's where the microphone so I tousled about the clip Andy asked. So being the wonderful father that I was this movie was my daughter probably watched in 100 times and probably watched with her probably 50 and I don't remember anything about it. I must've fell asleep anyway. It's a tale of desperado and it's about this mouse and in this kingdom in him and explain the part I know from the clip and you guys help me out here. If I miss anything but basically there is in the in the story, the Queen is eating soup and she gets scared by rat and falls asleep sleep and drowns. She's a mouse that's a key say there you go say I will sleep in and she's not a mouse. She's a human see. I'm not good that Robby's really good data. The grid really make you Robby for is the human and ground in the soon as you drowned, say business.

Basically, there's this declaration that comes out to basically soup and brats are forbidden in that town. But what I like is really the statement kind of plays in to the mandates and the prohibition that all the different stuff that were seen in society and can be very draining on one psyche. You know there's a lot of debate about you know people's different positions on it, but I think you know coming from people that are free. It's very difficult when you put things on constraining but that after you hear the story a little bit. Then you hear the narration she kind of explains it in its faded rather well. Much someone is what makes something illegal is just a natural part of the world. Or swing terrible sadness, sunlight, colors, dark sky for a long time with stained stained stained, like a Seinfeld so there no soup for you right exactly.

Is this that could is reminded now, but also you nephews just years ago. Now when we had all the coded protocol. Nearby was on lockdown and just how depressing and everything did feel great.

Everything did kind of feel so overwhelming at times. List for me in on me and not my life is not interrupted that much. I still went to work every day outside the home. You know, and I wasn't really locked down so we people around me that were you know that it was just a very tough time is a very great time and looking forward to about 20, 21, the turn of the yeah the clocks going to be a lot better. You know that at midnight on the end of the year and is discontinued without the stuff really liked Andy there looking like don't we always try to find a solution like that has to be something we need to outlaw in order make this better on we need to create some type of system to fix it in a rather than seeing what God has in mind to find some way to fix this. We talked about that is man we want to fix it and we always go to that and we know so much my life is been so much of it is that orphan spirit that you feel like that, you do actually have the responsibility to fix it and humanity is that governments do that. It's a it's part of our fallen nature. I believe, is to go and try to fix things God continually tells us bring me into this spring. I have not looked at. Actually, this is a pretty good time to get your clip, I think. Yeah, we were talking about craziness. I think people are drawn to craziness and I'm like a monotheist of flame you know and we will give examples that probably later but is thinking about the craziest time I could remember as I was growing up it in the media anyway where things it seemed so out of the norm in the crazier seem to be the better you at the time was doing all the name the show Jim I told you name it, it's, it's Mari Sally Geraldo Ricky Jerry's fault right you know it's it's all the talkshow host did the surprise stuff the that the shock things and I went to get a clip from Jerry Springer in order to play as much of it as I could take from this clip as I started to edit it and I'm like no I'm just done right and so it will listen to this is from Jerry Springer show. At some point is not falling for romantic proposal from our man. Please welcome Serena shall I Serena I is married yeah it yeah yeah why not. I just found out that my man Donnie yeah that's all I could to get it escalated really bad really quick. You know I'd actually watched a documentary on Netflix about this in the original one that was out there can member who was with Sally Jesse Raphael was one of the second and third one came out you known it was a mistake. It was something they didn't kinda happen on a talkshow and the ratings went really high into the snow. Let's do more that brightens all the shows spun off to the point when Sally Jesse Raphael had a guest on it was I Meet your admire your secret admirer and happen to be male that he was going to meet a female and he met his male coworkers. It was a lovely thing and later on that one got shocked couldn't take it and end up killing his coworker right in the national dishes kinda just drifted away right but it was spiraling crazier and crazier and crazier until then and now. Thinking back, but that wasn't even the beginning a crazy will find out after the break that it was way before that, you know, at least in in most of our lifetimes, but that was definitely a crazy time in and for me is equating it to that was a media crazy right now. I think we live in a social media crazy because there's so much misinformation there so much things out there that people just jump on whatever bandwagon I feel like I should attach to attach so easily to things that aren't even part of their lives. It's and that's part of the social media.

I don't think things have changed as far as how people are back in the 70s allows a police officer. It drove me nuts that I need merely got hit once while helping out with that accident because people are looking at the accident where they're going about it the folks that are trying to get them through there safely and that we got one person that's trying to get us through all this and I don't like the word safe to begin with because it's an illusion, but are only safe place is in God's will, and that seems awfully dangerous so but that's the best place for different kind of danger.

I think you're right. You arrive you need to point before the show that you know why do people go to certain events you were talking a bit about that you know how I think out to hockey games for the great extent because the fights of the got a NASCAR stock car races. They want to see the crashes right and back in your day. When they when they used to do the chariot races.

Harold right I may have been her here my rest – spiky things in the next step ended up in that we could do in the backyard and along with the bill calls that was new a new Coliseum. It's it's definitely a time yeah it is in my lifetime, which is more than half the rooms lifetime, and the upper half of the equation here close anyway middle right in there, but this is seems to be crazier just everywhere and you think you said it just everyplace seems to be kinda crazy right now. Write me a it's it's not just us one little area that were dealing with it. It's just everywhere having you know built politics and I just so many different areas.

Climate change where whatever it is there's a there's a spin on it from the media and there is a counterpoint to that finding the truth and all that it makes it difficult to make it in the same time come back after the break room talk more about it.

Will see you go. In the meantime, go to messenger need an orgy. This is talk about ways he smiled at him and smiled at him as their on how to do that to Facebook.com and click the donate button you can get a masculine journey.org and find masculine journey.org PO Box 550 think that Bob from the 80s and I really do like the song very much smoked one of the points I want to make is that things have always been screwed up that Adam and Eve fell. It was it's been a insane world and that listed a bunch of things were going on over a long period of history.

He basically was trying to do history.

I think the song can go on for quite a few minutes if not hours. Based on what has been done with it, but that was a time.

They mentioned AIDS, which is big scare still is to many that was right after the Vietnam War and some of those things are mentioned, but there's always something to get you frantic about your life and the probably the biggest thing I live through in my life was in the 60s and I was a kid, I wouldn't pay much attention, but I remember being trained to dive under a desk in case we had a nuclear attack and I know what I'll admit was remembered in the third grade and then I do.

That's target help you read a little bit of history and you wipe out everything in the small ball sleigh to hand it in August last year. Social work, nothing compared to what they had in the 60s actually think the lead in the desperate would protect the was a little bit more than your standard x-ray dry plant on you for these days and those days to but the clip that I cannot was the biggest fear of people in the 60s and it was a spoof on a very serious topic of nuclear liver that can say the word right. Thank you. Proliferation I normally can talk, but I'm giving it up in my old age. Fortunately, Harold has not lost that ability. I appreciate it. But this is from Dr. Strangelove and that's don't marry exact quote on the rest of that business while the longest titles of a movie ever is Dr. Strangelove or how I stopped hearing.

Now they didn't yell how to love the bomb, and stop worrying and those are the right words. I'm not sure about the order, but it doesn't matter, and this is something we went through that what you're hearing is a discussion in the war room and primary people.

Russian diplomat and the president are talking and let 'er rip about radioactive takes a 58 Range object with the above legal radioactive but they would only nine, after all, this amount, please carry on their attack is not a statement would do is designed, but surely you can design it somehow is designed to explode it made such a thing against the expense involved the arms raised display space and space the same time, a people grumbled all nylons and washing machines spending on defense. Yeah the siding was in the land don't come to is what I passed is I've never approved of anything like that schools the New York that gets back to media… Forgot to mention George see Scott what a great set up is one of the couple of crazy generals that gets us in that place to begin with, and that's a movie probably download.

It's only 60 years old 50 years old, but there's always been something in our lives and this was a big one in my youth. This is the fear of a nuclear war and it was a real danger.

And now for the person that was an adult man, one of the funniest parts I remember about that movie.

And yes I did see it live. When it came out was the one where he's. They got this doomsday machine so call. These atomic bombs at the bottom of the oceans circling the earth and the American General when he finds out about it says I will use his word racism which we had one of those but one that could destroy the earth is not enough. We need another makes BS that pulls the trigger and mats part of the silliness that we do have. It is we get a little time left and then said this shows rub your takes hold a different direction with your clip now. I got a couple crazies from the moving diehard wet lethal weapon they didn't diehard that were lethal weapons but anyway it was Danny Glover and Mel Gibson characters and apparently Mel Gibson's one of those very reckless policeman that it's got a death wish. In this Danny Glover is just trying to retire without dying. And now Gibson puts him in a bad situation.

So Danny Glover screams at him takes him to the side and then you hear this horrible confrontation between the two as you listen to this. I do have to say he's that Danny Glover's characters to tell Mel Gibson to put this pistol in his mouth, and you begin to hear this clicking and you need to know that the clicking is actually the Mel Gibson's character is pulling the trigger and what happens when you hear this click is that he pulled the trigger and the Danny Glover characteristics his finger where the hammer would hit the thing to kill Mel Gibson and so when you hear this how that's Danny Glover's finger you hitting this is so is is you listen to this. Think about what is really the behavior now and sometimes I think will do the job right every single day I wake up when I think of a reason single day with his land and went on doing the job doing the job. The reason you will not I'm hungry is so the thing that grabbed me about that clip as you notice at the end is when he finally says, oh God, and in the hundred 19 song King David and the in the design section says I remembered by name in the night owl Lord and I kept my word, but that the idea is like oh my goodness to be so aware to call on Jesus before you go through the guy pulled the trigger before the craziness happens and and and actually is of Tony's guys have been praying, praying, praying that I would be able to do that. Actually, in my dream since God gave me a couple chances like my unfortunately my brother was in the situation in this horrible farming asked in the dream I had last week and I woke up with my brother Dan unfortunately and I failed to call out to Jesus, and the next night my wife and I'm some friends were driving on the smart road it got.

I see all the sudden, before I knew the cars going off the clip my friend jumps out the back, but my wife and I am his wife are going falling falling falling falling plenty of time to call for Jesus, I should cover Jesus before we are on the icy road right. But now, now I and I wake up and I'm like oh I failed us and and so man I'm praying, I'm saying the Solomon praying and praying God, please help me to call on you in my dreams I just want to get to the point where it's so inherent in my thinking that I don't want to get to the point where it just gets crazy and so actually handle a breakthrough Sunday night I was dreaming and the strange woman came on to me and all of a sudden it came out I was like I knew in my dream is like. Jesus help me finish any show that that immediately.

Everything was cool and I felt like okay man, I just this is a serious opportunity that we have given you an MRI don't analyze a clip I got to think about it ever since I came up with it that I don't know that those guys are crazy. They just want the pain to be over with, right update their living in the crazy world may want the pain to be over with and they want to take a shortcut to do anything to stop the pain.

One guys, one is is targeted to die so he does not get killed you guys want to die so that is not to face the pain because you don't want to take the long road of healing that it takes and so fortunately we have after our show and talk about some of the different segments of the healing or share some of our stories and how were trying to stay sane in the crazy world. And so in the meantime a great way to stay sane in the crazy world is kind of boot camp labeling, fortunately. If you ever heard about it.
