The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network we share with you to the major pro-life victory and then talk about revival. You can be involved in what's happening on college campuses for the light a fire with your hosts difficult scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more Centerview and spiritual clarity 866-34-TRUTH to get on the line of fire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown at I had a guest on the broadcast Jim Horton, the director of the Compass care pregnancy center in Buffalo early June.

In the aftermath of the overturning of Roe V Wade there pregnancy center was firebombed had to shut down.

Jim came on the air with me full of love and grace towards those that meant them harm. And of course opening his arms wide to women considering abortion and the question is what you do now. How do you get back in operation in the same building or elsewhere. Well, that was that was back in June that this happened and we did some updates.

After that got some good news for you. I want to share that with you.

I'm not taking any calls today but little over an hour from now for 15 Eastern time will do our weekly Q&A you to chat.

You can ask all your questions on all subjects then, but right now we want to focus on what's happening in the pro-life movement and then at the bottom of the hour.

Susan can shift gears and talk about revival in our college campuses so Jim walking back to light a fire.

Thanks much for joining us for our major out of the back working again so you make clear that you would like to stop what you were doing, but you couldn't use the building for period of time and would have to do things in a more secretive way, what's happened since then. Yeah, I'm great.

Very exciting things happen.

The church across the country and in Buffalo really stepped up and we are able to rebuild the facility by 52 may mean that Nehemiah, like any while the edges of supply chain issues labor shortages.

It didn't matter, but the people of God just stepped off I'm standing right now. Right now I'm talking you in the in the room for the Molotov cocktail look up the entire facility on fire. Incredibly encouraging to see the people of God at work, they would not have Compass care home at the fact that only the rebuild facility three offers the very next day after the fire line to relocate services, and in Buffalo. Three different locations and three. Next they were up and running in all her location social amazing to see how habitable guy just love to see life women serves not just the pregnancy but beyond end up wheat we had one patient six or Quickstart would take your time. Please pick she was researching this particular patient about a year ago and she just loved to that resource is usually spears considering abortion and bench educator Compass care she received ethical medical care.

Comprehensive unity support we plunder into a church. She got connected in the community there came to Christ and became friends with one of the mother care to your mother care mentors in her church and work the compass care and the firebombing on the news and she said why would anybody want to get the compass care while in this organization. It just helps you help me and so she was able to turn around and minister to the staff at compass care with with with the baby. The compass character have just an amazing testimony of how God reaches out to people and and essentially give them their life is an opportunity to connect with Christ and they in turn encourage us but is a wonderful, wonderful that that is amazing. Just obviously the gratification of seeing a baby born in this world, but that that adds to the story of amazingly Jim a few details what what about insurance what happened with insurance coverage in your building. I'm really happy for the insurance company has been great to work with half $1 million worth of damage insurance company courses during their due diligence to make sure that no cross realities and dotting all the eyes but they are not blocking any letters I will back up running computer for right so I'm ungrateful for that. What about arrests from the center because the Misty Terrace was happy with that toilet. That's where it's frustrating that Mike my level of disappointment and frustration is increasing daily work day. Got a great day.

71 now and no arrests yet today.

When Derek 71 days and no arrests since our firebombing and by the way, you know this but 45 attacks on pro-life, in particular. Another tax and other black organizations and churches, but 45 on pregnancy centers in particular all across the country spent the week of the Dobbs case overturning Roe back in May and more or less 0 big goose egg and you compare that reversing amount of evidence would get video surveillance. We got pictures of people and cars etc. at the end and we don't have you compare that to what happened in in Kalamazoo Michigan on July 31 with a abortion clinic called Planned Parenthood innovate, they were attempted arson attacks on them minimal damage the narrative.

This is on a Sunday, July 31, and there is a joint thermal joint task force. I got together on Sunday and were able to figure out from the truck remained of outdoor flame will be found on the premises. Where was purchased purchased it and he arrests the guy in four daysand 20 is just now I'm I'm thankful that they found somebody in restroom to the kind of violence is unacceptable anywhere.

Anybody seems to me that those same FA model resources are not being provided compass care or it the FBI five weeks to look at our video surveillance five weeks.

That's unacceptable. It seems to me that not a day that they were intentionally slow walking because we are a politically disfavored organization. We don't perform or refer for abortions. Then we don't get along apparently was the ideology of the ruling elite there to look the other way and slow market. That's what it feels like to me.

Yeah this is frustrating in the natural for sure and wanted to bring these things to the attention of our listeners and folks pray for justice pray for the repentance of the people involved.

Obviously, the thing you'd love to see the most. Jim is is these people repenting and saying what we did is wrong. Obviously they broke the law. The consequences for that and and in the endangered people but the fact of the matter is that the goal is to see them repent and get right with God really know the Lord.

So that's the great global justice has its place in your throughout the Bible there a lot of the Psalms were written a lot of the cries go to heaven because of injustice.

That's why that's what we keep praying for God to bring about was right but in that sense it's so important to remember that we doing God's work in the gods for us because the spirit of the age is can be against us. In that light. Jim, can you tell us nationally.

What's happening mentioned the ruling elite.

So the the government in power now left-wing government in power being pro-abortion. What's the strategy to to combat the overturning of Roe V Wade yeah there to be a four prong strategy which we been monitoring the last several weeks, we see new things start to percolate and sort we sent out a press release and they look like a four prong strategy. Everybody and a day later by the ministrations.

I don't know what the precontract interest is the craziest so I still believe this will prompt despite what the by menstruation wants us to believe and memorizing number one the abortion industry is flagging right there facing an essential threat to their existence, because they're looking at losing 300,000 abortions a year. That's a big deal of it to any organ of any to any type of business model used 3000, thousand of anything you're probably going to go out of business. Number one I think the that the DB pro-abortion politicians are protecting that the for-profit abortion industry by deregulating their calling. Self managed abortion chemical abortion.

There may be abortion if she had the pivot away from surgical abortion to chemical abortion to stay alive and able to send you chemical abortion, but the cash in the mail. Please woman in her home.

I call chemical abortion. The chemical coathanger because hundred percent more dangerous than surgical abortion times more likely, and in the land in the emergency room On the chemical abortion process.

It was on the FDA rends list risk evaluation and mitigation system only 77 zero drugs have made on that list and it'll take them off of the buying administration pressure the FDA to take it off the rends list because they will want to be able to distribute quickly to two women all across the country and so deregulating chemical abortion is become of massive priority for them right now. The second thing is the prioritizing enforcement of abortion restrictions at the state level – document on June 24 of it was okay, but let's give the abortion issue back to the states.

The people want to do about abortion. One out of the federal government is that in the proportion politicians across the state are trying to officially rob the people of their ability to to regulate abortion as they see fit in their states by essentially do you prioritize middling law enforcement to de-prioritize the enforcement of these regulations that are being enacted and so they're doing is the prioritization of law enforcement at the city level and orders well you see it in decedent and not Columbus Ohio and Austin, Texas, New Orleans, Atlanta, then other places like that so that's a major prong in their initiative will therefore punish initiative right now and that is wrong we were at world rule of law, government and and and self-governance as is key to 2 to 1 of one of Arkansas as as Americans trying to take that back away from promotional trips abortion.

According the entire governmental structure of America at that risk for their mental abortion and OPEC industry so the third the third prong is similar.

They are trying to regulate the abortion as read only competition out of the that's punish offenders.

Medical treasuries are sinners are the only competition to the abortion industry and the abortion issue will not have the ability to have abortion clinics inremark, but the print designers do have presence in all 50 states and before etc. can it be with for the 21st century telehealth tools. The compass caregiving 600 of the parties and revealed have infrastructure to serve every single woman in America before she traveled before she goes along a dangerous chemical abortion drug center so you know it's time to nurse is critical. A woman makes the decision about the outcome of the pregnancy within 24 hours after the first positive home test and we can reach her and serve her within 24 minutes and 24 second. That's incredible.

The most exciting moment in the history of the of the pro-life movement and probably the most important cultural moment in 150 years in America, and this is a moment that God is handing his people look the church has an opportunity to be the voice and hands and feet of Christ in this in this dark world and we wait we can start talking about what it means to be human again under God and why why everybody equally viable from the one division without partiality as appraisers are all about which we help women message denies that the child in her womb, but also help her have the baby and beyond. As we described a story that full woman who encouraged us to that we were able to serve a year ago. Just as a place for you to help for this is with his friends. This is the gospel in action. This is whole life is all about the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown Arden, the compass care, pregnancy center in Buffalo and Jim it's it's wonderfully here not just that there is great support and in that you're back in operation in the same building in that's extraordinary.

Obviously people could run from this because they're intimidated or scared off by the process of of what happened were threats but I'm assuming with your whole team that it's it's been the opposite.

Yeah it has been fighting spirit of the people of God.

Serving women saving lives.

It is really a humbling thing to see where recently serve God first and foremost were called to fear him and him alone and better to suffer.

The Bible says for doing what is right and the stuff for doing what is wrong and in it and if that's what this is to be treated like second-class positions so that we can save more lives will then so be it. Jesus did Jesus do that for us. He sacrificed his life for four hours per hours anything I'm going to likewise be the good Samaritan to your neighbor.

I I am. I just humbled and honored to be part of this wonderful team that we did was a single staff member within the location. Our service is On moving forward and are walking credible so Jim's last question for you. I saw an article today will assist Dylan, who's from Babylon be the Christian satire site was on the Joe Rogan show, which is the world's biggest podcast, and Jerome, of course, not a believer but they were talking about censorship and things like that and apparently in the midst of it gotten to in exchange they got pretty passionate about abortion in the case of rape and Joe Rogan said there was to make my fourth, if my 14-year-old daughter was raped and was good for surrogates to have that baby so they had an exchange about that so obviously Seth Dillon's position is two wrongs don't make a right and and murdering the baby doesn't help solve things. But of course some of looking at this is apparent. Look at this thinking of the heart of it, thinking you make my daughter carried the reproach of this. All the kids you know about in school notes can affect the rest of her life in an even if the babies grep for adoption should never be the same if she's going to think about what that rapist did every day for this month's we can get rid of this and move on so that the argument can some very compassionate very caring if we simply say two wrongs don't make a right, obviously to Reno, punish the babies with the rapist did, but then what about the what about the woman who's been raped so it's it's it's an emotionally charged argument for obvious reasons. So Jim have have you actually dialogued with enough women about this to say okay the women that are chosen to have their babies expressed that they had this impact on those women who chose to abort babies that were conceived in rape.

They said this could can you give us, not just an argument, but data based on experience, like the database on experience.

We serve thousands of women over the years that I think we probably am thousand and not only that we help other organizations serve thousands of our experience spans tens of thousands of patients over 20 years.

The likelihood that you actually serve a patient who is pregnant because of great is very very low so I I quite frankly on remember you know one or two situations we actually had to report to law enforcement situation so the the outcome of of the pregnancy you know is you and I think those particular two cases were actually pregnant. I don't think it actually conceived so II would say, but if it you want to be careful to do to not make an argument or make a case based on a motion hour or an anomaly ruling by exception. For example, making my children exception is officially making a law by emotion we have to look at this from a theological perspective from God's perspective. What is a human.

What is was a mean to be human and is that an act of God or an act of a man right in and what what we believe is that that human beings exist. You and I exist at at the behest of a sovereign act of God. So what does that mean okay so the circumstances of conception are terrible, right absolutely a violation we are with the reason why were so upset about but rape and incest is because human beings are made in the image of God and should not be violated.

We are inviolable because with because of the inherent dignity we care for supposed to respect and dignify each other protect each other and rate is. It is the opposite of that is why so reprehensible and that's exactly the reason why work whole life as well.

And so we while difficult was difficult to think about the emotional trauma that weight causes we have to think about the need extreme value of the crown creation. God can take the most terrible circumstances and turn on his head and making a fountain of all blessing if that isn't the message of the class and I don't know what it week. I believe brother and sisters. God can take the worst and make it the best I don't know how he does it but he does it every day and it's a miracle and its America initiative is just a miracle. I can explain any other way and not I still feel course, we still say Moses also was a tragedy, and these people need to be held accountable. The greatest leaders that the lien be held accountable.

But we need to look at life from God's perspective and look at crime prosecuting criminal. Also, from the perspective of justice with respect to the fact that we are made in damaged and you can't violate people so we got a figure from multiple perspectives.

I appreciate that and it does drive us back to those realities you what I've done strategically when when people raise that. So let's just put that aside, let's deal with the 99% of other horses.

You agree those are all correct. There was a love letter, you argue that now let's look at that that lets little really dealing with seven days a week. The other thing is have even heard from people is called in others been involved in in in working with women who have abortions is remarkable is people saying calling in the show saying that their baby was conceived in rape, but having the baby was the best thing that ever happened to them and then you know that the mother trying to pressure the daughter to have an abortion, and the daughter decided not to.

And now that the mothers become a grandmother is so thrilled with that and then also talking to others that are chosen to have an abortion that that were that were raped saying that that didn't fix things.

It didn't take the pain away so obviously compassion us to drive everything we do, but so much more to this, Jim. I'm thrilled to hear the good report your your love for the Lord and your courage are a great testimony to many lettuce sees this great cultural moment and see many less. Thank you so much for all that you do. My brother, thank you. I really appreciate you have management honor, you bet. God bless you. All right what what a joy to talk to Jim Harden and to hear that update in here that report a friends. Just a reminder, you can still preorder Mozart for your just get the books and you can still order your signed number copy first edition first printing of the political seduction of the church I did.

I just wrote an article to see if it's live yet on the starter brown set out only finished it early afternoon, so it's it's it's not up yet appropriate later today or tomorrow and asked Dr. Brown.org arose to really read my articles all it it's is the church ready for trump, 20, 24, the article is not really… Trumpets for Millie about the church. The article is not an attack on Donald Trump. The article is not there to praise Donald Trump. The article is not to say if he runs you should vote for him.

You should vote for him.

The article asked the question, how does the church do in 2020 from 2016 to 2022.

The first time around with Donald Trump.

Did we maintain Argyle the witness before the world did we maintain a spirit of unity around Jesus, despite our differences about trump did we stay free of political ax obsession, and over exalting human leaders and will, based on 17 criteria that I'd laid out in two previous books, seven criteria in Donald Trump is not my Savior was given 2010 as a trump folder arose that and evangelicals at the crossroads we passed a trump test. If you have in 2020. Roy gave 10 more criteria to circuit.

This will we have the right with you forward this we have to get rights of 17 when I scored us in my new book the political seduction of church. That's what I do in the last chapter of the book political seduction church. I review those 17 criteria say this is what we need to get right and in the presence of Donald Trump and if he wins reelection moving forward so I added the 17 I I score us failing on 15 of the 17 criteria 15 and 17 if Donald Trump runs again. It's unrealistic for us to think is going to change his good qualities will be as good causes.

Because B is because that's the man we voted for those who voted for it is never voted for that.

He negatively affected many of us that sought us. He's just who he always was right to vote for him expecting to change. We did up tremendous my good that I'm profoundly grateful for, but the fact he didn't become more decent human being.

That's who the man is an that's we voted for. So the question is, is the church ready for another Trump run will we compromise or witness again and divide over trump rather than uniting around Jesus read the book the political seduction of the church will help you understand how we messed up and how to get things right for the future and the beautiful transcendent calling of the church and what our role is in this role involved in politics involving culture wars, but in a way that is transcendence of good*brown dog house in order multiple something that you give out his colleagues get a copy of your past as well.*Brown right back with Matt finish talk about revival and how you can be involved in the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire, but 45 minutes for a little bit less will be back on YouTube. Both you watch on YouTube now. Just click on the thumbs up button helps to get more people looking at the broadcast will be back about 42 minutes. From now on a YouTube channel.

ASK Dearborn asked her to Brown doing or exclusive weekly online Q&A chat really looking forward to this interview today with Matt and it founder and CEO of Christian Union Christian leadership development organization with the mission to bring sweeping spiritual and cultural transformation to our nation and the world by developing and networking Christian leaders to make an impact for Christ Christian Union focuses his activity in America's most influential universities and nonprofessionals in the nations cities.

I've done some Sue meetings and some face-to-face meetings with students that they have leaders they have on either the campuses different campuses in the Northeast and it's just been a joy to be with them and that has a great heart for revival real awakening in the church spreading to the society. Read it when you talk about what's happening on the campuses but then talk about some key events that you can be involved in reading a lay this out for you. So Matt, so glad to have you on the broadcast. Thanks for joining us today so great to be on. Thanks sis about how you get a burger.

Obviously an educated man college campus in seminary, but how did you get your particular burden for the campuses that have a lot to do with growing up in Houston Texas where there was a lot of Christian offering and going to college in the Northeast and noticing there was a lot less and noticing that Ashley at the influential University and highly academic university. There are so many students who learn a lot yet. They don't know the basic about the most important message ever given to humankind and even from secular perspective, the most important social movement in the history of the earth and and so many know little about Jesus Christ, who is white and how to know him.

The contrast is extraordinary and that that we just cannot let that happen. I remember doing an outreach lecture at Yale University. Over 30 years ago at the invitation of an on-campus Christian group and even though I didn't sector the school's all all my education from from after high school. So from 70 to 77 onset to Susan 73 onto 8085. I'm a PhD. Oh, I was still shocked at the atmosphere at Yale and I remember just how open the moral stance was how open Gay activism was this is this is 30 years ago.

Can you paint the picture of some of them
