It's New Year's Eve here on the line of fire.

We got some words of encouragement for you today.

It's time for the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH.

That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown. Can you believe it it it's actually New Year's Eve 2018 a year in many ways, which has been significant the ways 1968 was significant a year of real upheaval and shaking in America around the world. 50 years later, 2018 has been quite a year. Want to talk about 2018 want to talk about moving forward into 2019. Thank you for joining us on the line of fire. Also, you open up the phone lines. Many of you would like to call during the show asked questions give your point of view on something take issue with me on something but your work schedule doesn't permit it. Maybe you're off today and where live. So here's the recall 866-34-TRUTH 866-34-TRUTH 87884 got that right any subject you want to talk to me did have an opportunity or had a question for me will see if we get some of your calls as well. I've often taught about the upheaval in America and even other nations during the 60s it was a tumultuous time.

It was a revolutionary time. One sociologist commented to me that it was to be expected in that after World War II, as couples now were getting married as babies were being born that now when you get into the 60s you have a large number of young people and the sociologist said to me, sociology 101 that when you have an unusually large number of young people born in a given generation that that will also produce a lot more upheaval a lot more societal shifts and things like that young people tend to push back against boundaries more there can often be more violence and and and more challenge of authority and things like that that is largely what happened in the 60s and in many ways. It was a tumultuous time around the world. Psychologist David Myers said that if you fell asleep in 1960 and woke up in the year 2000. You'd wake up to the divorce rate doubled teen suicide up three times reported violent crime up four times prison population up five times, children born out of wedlock of six times people living together out of wedlock up seven times massive societal upheaval. But the great majority of that upheaval took place within a short period of time and most of the shift happen by the end of the 60s, so you've got major things that happened in 1960. For example, that the birth control pill is introduced not big notice about it, but that changes things and there's a lot more sex for recreation than procreation and women now more available and and that's a big shift 1962 organize public prayer removed from the schools by the Supreme Court, even if it wasn't so important in terms of the actual words said in the 22 word prayer.

To me it was largely symbolic. The courts acting without previous legal precedent to do that. 63.

Organize public Bible reading was removed from schools.

I didn't have this in the schools Rider up in New York, but many other parts of the country over the intercom system they would read from Scripture or everyone would pray a prayer together in each classroom and if you may be atheist, family, or, or other religion wanted to sit out the praise and it was generic to God. You could do that. This is part of a culture. When Billy that when Franklin Graham was asked why you speak more about cultural issues, and your father did. Franklin Graham said when my father was a school there were the Bible in school, so this is a very different America today. 1963 the very important civil rights march in the famous speech by Dr. King. I would dream this was a challenge to the status quo and a positive pushback in our society. 1963 John F. Kennedy assassinated. If you're as old as I am a 63 you remember where you were when you heard the news.

This is a child eight years old and in their announcing our schools and could start crying and get picked up by her parents.

The shocking time and then you get to see it on TV, not lie but see it shortly after that that was this not. It was like today where everything as it happens is run your cell phone friends in the war in Vietnam. Drawing further backlash among the younger generation what we therefore 1964. The Beatles come to America. That was a massive cultural event but believe over half of the TVs in America were were watching Ed Sullivan that night to watch the Beatles. This is a cultural phenomenon. Major shifts continue to take place. By 1967. You have the the human BN and in Californian people come together meditating get high and just usher in a world of peace 1967 Monterey pop the first rock festival in the who smashes their equipment at the end of their their set of my generation singing that last song in Jimi Hendrix, such as guitar on fire. It was was a time of challenge to authority and pushback against the status quo.

Most of it negative so unlike the civil rights movement.

Good 1968 the year of massive upheaval, not just in America but other nations you have.

First, the assassination of Dr. King, leading to riots all over the cities in America. What shock and then shortly after the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, who, if anyone would have been looked at as a semantic to carry on.

The division is a is a white leader, division of Dr. King. He's killed Sarah Edmund this this is shocking terrible tragedies and then it's the time of of revolution around the world. The May Revolution in France May 1968, and in that almost toppled the government of de Gaulle, the tall telco massacre. Forgive my mispronunciation in Mexico, peaceful riots that begin Russia's a peaceful protest that began on student campuses and then moved to the general public, and police mow down several hundred people in the midst of it time of great upheaval, great upheaval. Soviet Union roles their tanks into Czechoslovakia just around the world that the Olympics in in Mexico and some of our black athletes raise their hand in the in the Black Panther salute get banned from from public sports in America. Yeah it it's it was a time of tremendous shaking upheaval 1969 Woodstock, 1969 Stonewall riots in the real strong birthing of the modern gay liberation movement and on and on it goes. Just extraordinary time shaking in America, radical feminism rises up at that time and you civil where the radicals today will many of them became college professors was training our young people and universities.

Many of them became business leaders influential media and the arts and they brought their radical ideology with them now 50 years later we look in American boy is a ton of a people boy. It's it it's another time, shaking and in my lifetime I've never seen America as divided as it is today. It's not just the whole nation divided over Pres. Trump but there's also deeper racial division deeper ethnic division deeper generational division is reminiscent of what happened in the 60s except it's more widespread, ideologically throughout the whole society and friends is only going to increase in 2019 me what you've got now.

From today until 2020 elections is going to be one long day and night political commercial with very little middle ground with lots of extreme hostility with intense hatred and division and name-calling, and would generally happens is that deepens the divisions in other words I don't like you and I tell you all that makes you more angry towards me, you respond to me like it's me more angry towards you and I responded next they were at war so let me say this one thing every brother and sister in the Lord all right to to every fellow believer in Jesus, I urge you not to get caught up in the spirit of the world and the spirit of the age. Yes, we have convictions yes we pray and we seek the Lord. We study the Scriptures and and we interact with the society around us, but I strongly strongly urge you don't get caught up in partisan politics so Dr. Brown you comment on things. The political yes I do, but I do my best to step back and to pray, and not just to react with the media saying not just react to react to the buzz in social media, not just to to go pro Republican antidemocratic pro-Democrat or antirepublican or whatever it is pro Fox News anti-CNN pro-Rush Limbaugh and anti-MSNBC or the reverse stop or do any of that. In fact, I get a lot of news read it. I'm gonna watch TV news.

It's not that it's wrong to I don't listen to conservative voices on a radio in the major voices.

Liberal voices adjust my schedule and the way I operate. I get the vast majority of my news reading it reading it online and is a tone that comes my way on a daily basis and I often go to websites that are ideologically completely opposed to where I stand to see what they're reporting to see how the world looks through their eyes and it struck me the other day. I may write on this in the new year, but it struck me friends that we look at a country like North Korea and see how controlled the populace is by the media and you have state channels and that's basically it.

And there's no Internet access for the general public so you know what you been told it's very reminiscent of big brother in George Orwell's 1984. For all of you have read that that you are told certain things by the media and that's it. You have no way to find out if anything else is happy. Will America still be different. We have constant access to all kinds of different sources and resources and points of view and yeah that's in many ways we are is influenced by the media control by the media as the people. North Korea is it what you talk about what I mean is, even though we have access to alternative news. Even though we have access to opposing points of view. The minute that we have access to streams of information that will be different than the narrative put forth by the government of the Republican Party of the Democratic Party.

Even though we have all of that so many of us are heavily heavily influenced and biased by the media's opinion and would they say is what we believe and what they say is how we think that's dangerous so encouraging, study, learn, listen to different sources, resources, points of view, but then be prayerful and don't don't identify first politically identify first spiritual and that your spiritual identification. Color your political identification that make sense kingdom of God first, patriotism second.

This will be the best citizens we could possibly be an honor God love our neighbor speak truth) take some calls I got a whole lot more to say. Here's another call 866-34-TRUTH to light a fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now going to 866-34-TRUTH your exam is Dr. Michael Brown. Looking back, friends to this New Year's Eve broadcast in a moment I'm going to encourage you and in terms of a New Year's resolution, something will encourage you to make do at the moment, 866-34-TRUTH. By the way if you check my website Esther to Brown.org we have something very special, offered this week. It is the book that Nancy and I wrote breaking the stronghold of food along with a set of CDs were. I coach you. I encourage you. Here's a get started.

First day here some of things to do some the principles to follow through. Got that exclusively on our website the book and the CDs new year, new you right great way to start the new year so check that it asked Dr. Brown a SK DR Brown.Borg let's go to Glennis and Alabama. Welcome to the line of fire Colin happy new year. Thank you. Happy new year dear on the 11-year-old boy that was cross-dressing in a gay bar dancing and having money around him.

You don't want your daughters doing things like that. Why would you put your start in the middle to Glennis if it's of real concern, I wrote an article on it. December 21 when the boy in drag danced at the gay bar in the gay community did not protest so so here's the deal. It's completely outrageous. It is child abuse. The mother was there approving of this. This boy is being celebrated old next great thing drag queen. Be yourself.

This is perverse.

This is wrong on absolutely every single account and like you said if it was someone's daughter.

Let's say it was the daughter in a male club right where the guys gonna be ogling her and throwing money at her. That would be the equivalent of the scenario here that would be sick and perverse and ugly and any parent that would allow their kids to be part of that or any or any bar that would allow that to happen. There should be. There should be reproving.

There should be discipline because of that yet because is gay.

It's to be celebrated so look one of the accusations that gay activists hate the most is that they are all pedophiles and child abuse is, of course, they're not.

And every gay man I've ever talk to about these issues is is repulsed by the idea of pedophilia as SIM is a heterosexual Christian male Jewish believing mail so the I'm I'm not questioning them on that when I am saying is there is this a breakdown here. There's an inconsistency, because many years people would say will look you can grow by reproduction after robust seduction and they said that's outrageous.

What about just ideological seduction, just bringing people into an atmosphere where this is fine this is okay, drag queens reading to toddlers and say what were we want to groom the next generation. That's Road drag queens reading to toddlers two and three-year-olds and and that's why you have in the gay community advocates of what's called intergenerational intimacy that there is a 35-year-old guy going with a 17-year-old.

And you know hey that's just kinda normal in our community, etc. in so my question is where's the outrage, where where the gay activists were the gay websites were the gay leaders denouncing this what why is it that there is a platform among early gay activists to reduce the age of consent wasn't being pushed for by the most respected gay activists to run the most respected in England today, lowering the age of consent, something is terribly miserably wrong and this is outrageous.

We need to pray for this boy. We need to pray for his mother to really find the Lord and come to repentance.

I eyesight in the article. There is one kid with eight or nine years old and he is drag queen. All this in his YouTube videos and watch millions and millions of times this is abusive. This is wrong. This is this is inexcusable. So thanks for thanks for mentioning it. Glennis again if this is been a little girl is been a heterosexual scene with a girl that age grandsons dressing sensually ordered and then dancing sensually in front of grown men were throwing money at her in a in a heterosexual bar that would've been equally ugly and wrong and contemptible. I thank you for calling friends. This is one reason why we speak. This is your kids or grandkids the syllabus and like you in there but your kids are getting exposed to this. Don't you realize it your your grandkids are getting exposed to this. This is being celebrated in schools, if not this, you got kindergarten kids being told. Maybe you're not really a boy menu not really grooming your boy girl's body in a girl or vice versa. This is the type of stuff they are bombarded with. I know it because parents come to me trouble so my kids don't agree with me on these issues. I hate to hear that grieved here, but are we surprised shouldn't be surprised.

Not at all because there being bombarded by other influences and hearing very little from us very little in our churches have have you watched our consider this video one or more pastor speak out. Thank God for those who do, but have you watch the video if is not threaded and are on our homepage Esther to Brown.org to see the benefit.

Consider this the videos cold.

Why don't more pastor speak out, watch it and then encourage your pastors and leaders which would help us were backing you wherewith you were supporting if you get flack. We're standing with you want to do that and in and when I say listen we don't know how to answer all these questions. Could you help equip us if the pastors this is not my area of specialization will that that's where they're people like me and many others say will will help will do the heavy lifting will do the digging will do the research will will check out the sources will do our best to sift through things in and present the truth and love it and then you can share that with others and in this way we can help equip you, and you can equip others.

So friends, my, my heart is heavy over the moral confusion in our society today.

My heart is heavy over the compromise of our society, but I'm not in the least bit surprised him one voice okay. But I can speak for myself since the 1980s is God's given me more of a platform through books and other things to speak beyond just might my local sphere. I've been sounding the alarm about our compromise gospel about our water down gospel about our failure to warn about our departure from the repentance message and look it takes time before you see the negative consequences some of you see instantly, but others it takes many many years. Look, I was an unhealthy eater all my life I have stretches. Roy tried to really avoid certain foods and eat better foods than others, but I was never a healthy eater until 4 1/2 years ago by God's grace. My life is been radically dramatically transformed and you can find out about in our book, breaking the stronghold of food which is a mention we have available with CDs where I will coach you and yeah I actually it's it's not on that pace just talking to my team here it's on the, the special resource offer together with the CDs so I will. I was a lifelong unhealthy eater, but I've been in generally good health through that time, but the older you get it you start to see the fruits of unhealthy eating and and then when you contrast it with healthy eating, you realize while that I was really sowing seeds of the wrong direction for a long time. It's the same with AA we can gospel message December the compromise message given enough time, it will have a disastrous effect that's on the church women's society. When you have so many tens of millions of professing Christians in America such a large percentage of the population going to church services at least once a month and many going once a week. When that segment of the population is largely compromised and is lost its cutting edge. This can have a detrimental effect on the entire society and in many won't speak out now because it's costly, difficult. There are consequences it. 6634 so most recently if you heard this, but who would you say is the most prominent well-known evangelical voice in America today. My opinion Franklin Graham and if he's not number one on your list. Certainly, number two, or three. I mean he's he's got a clear voice and a great platform in the use of social media uses Facebook speak up.

He recently got banned from Facebook could post for 24 hours and they reach millions and millions of people every week banned for 24 hours could not post anything.

Why will someone discover the post from 2016 and violated community guidelines and she was Bennett's clear rates as the post violated no guidelines something wrong with it whatsoever. 0 to 2016. But one person on the team of 15,000 that evaluates whether community guidelines have been violated, said did you got banned Facebook subsequently apologizes that our error. Nothing Violet Gollancz but that that that tells you something if they have the audacity even to ban Franklin Graham is prominent. The voices he is son of Billy Graham and again my view that the most prominent well-known evangelical voice in America so they were the most forceful as well they could ban him for 24 hours than anybody but rather than us doing the right thing in speaking up and speaking out or carrying the corner where where we are self imposing restrictions on ourselves but what is friends talk to speak up, speak out, we come back will take more your calls but I want to share with you my suggested New Year's resolution so they hope every one of you is determined by God's grace. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown (two our New Year's eve broadcast. I want to share with you a proposed New Year's resolution wrote an article on it this morning, so it should be appearing next 24 hours through a New Year's Day article over the Internet and maybe before been posted today suggested resolution for the new year, namely that we will speak up and speak out without concern for the consequences. In other words, will speak the truth in love, even if it's costly, will speak the truth in love, even if it's unpopular will take either Jesus words that if we try to save our lives to lose them. If we lose our lives for the gospel will find them sooner rather than constantly trying to avoid controversy and avoid conflicts so we won't lose friends, we will lose her social media platform and thereby we lose our lives in the process become slaves of people become fears of men rather than fears of God. We don't consider what's best what's good what's right we consider what's safest status of the gospel way. But we speak the truth in love, and if there are negative consequences. So be it. We rejoice and we move forward, believing that God will turn that to for good, 866348788440 open for even random questions on different subjects. If you want to call but unable because of work schedule. Maybe you're off today, then by all means give us a call will get to a few more calls shortly so back in March there was word that YouTube was going to ban in force Alex Jones in force. I'm not enforcement it Alex Jones is conspiratorial as a different approach to many things is not my approach there some things that I've seen from some of his colleagues and appreciated, but I'm not enforcement them.

If you are that's the sum of the issue, but I immediately said we should be concerned of what's happening with YouTube and enforce even though I didn't like a lot of things in and forth and and I wrote a poem to my article marching March 2018 why you choose conflict within four should concern us all, and at the end of that article, I revise the famous Morton, the molar poem from Nazi Germany. I changed it to say this first they came for, enforce, and I did not speak out because I found it offensive. Then they came for Geller and Spencer Pam Geller and Robert Spencer and I did not speak out because I felt obnoxious.

Then they came for Prager. You and I did not speak out because I found them opinionated. Then again, for a host of others and I did not speak out because I have my own life to live anything from me there was no one left to speak for me there is a list that was put together by alum Bukhari on Breitbart.com so strongly conservative website, 2018 is the year. Big tech sensors revealed their true colors and he says in virtually any given week in 2018. You can expect at least one of the following, the media would run a negative story about the president, a Democrat would complain about Russia and attacked platform would censor a prominent conservative.

He says all three are connected.

The alternative media which the public that relies on to debunk the hysteria of the establishment press press has faced a sustained attack by the Masters of the universe, the Silicon Valley of either banned them from their platforms or undercut their traffic with algorithm changes. Meanwhile, the tech tightens pour money into the corporate press. Propping up the old media elites, even as they crush the competition and disease got this list of of those who felt Silicon Valley's wrath is lung critic Tom Robinson was banned by twitter and PayPal conservative activist Laura Luna was banned between the Republican consultant RC Maxwell was banned by twitter centric YouTube recall Benjamin also noticed Sargon of Arcot was banned by patriarch is lung critic Robert Spencer was banned by patron following pressure by credit card companies can zones was suspended by twitter. James Woods was suspended for 30 days by twitter. I hypocrite a page that highlights for left hate speech was banned by Facebook of a Yemeni a Jewish Australian IDF veteran conservative activist was banned by Facebook Mohammed tell Healy and asked anti-extremist Australian imam was banned by faced with the Babylon be a conservative satire site was threatened with suspension by Facebook conservative actress Terrence K.

Williams was suspended by Facebook Evan McGinnis was banned by twitter and Facebook at the urging of the corporate media Alex Jones and enforce rebel by Facebook Twitter Apple podcast Google place modified Pinterest and YouTube over 800 alternative news accounts were banned by Facebook. Just a few weeks before the midterms, and untold number of rank-and-file conservatives who do not have the Polish in the platforms interested in their accounts also were silenced and that's remember over 800 alternative news accounts banned by Facebook. This diffuse before the midterms friends at that. That's a long time to read that list and obviously there be different ones in these groups that I wouldn't agree with the positions they hold and agree with but the fact that they were banned blocked. What's the word that they were on persons where would you use that is highly significant that we share something with you. It will be in my in my new article, there is a pastor in China 1G MAPI press. His name correctly.

He is considered to be one of the most courageous voices in China and the Chinese president is really cracking down. He is cracking down on minorities religious minorities ethnic minorities. He is really presenting himself as a new mall there is a push for complete totalitarian control of of the nation it's it's frightening to see was happening so if you speak out against the government boldly clearly your big trouble.

You're going to jail you might be tortured in jail you might die in jail but you suffer in your love was going to suffer guaranteed sources past due September 9, 2018. He preaches and he says president G Jim paying does not rip if if he does not repent.

He will perish. He said the government. He is leaving his sin greatly against God for his persecution of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ and if he does not repent, you will perish at it. Did he know he's gonna suffer for it. Where is he that he's in prison right now first comments present what he say when were not being persecuted. We spread the gospel.

When persecution comes, we continue spreading the gospel of retirement. A president we declare he's a sinner, if a German general secretary will still declares a sinner. We still believe we have a responsibility television paying that he's a center is not the gospel of Christ.

This is not the the PC compliant made for America message know this is speaking the truth and warning so friends, what are we waiting for. It's time to speak out with Prof. Jordan Peterson and Canada reacted to Bill C16 that would have a criminal penalty for mis-engendering someone is there is really New York City. So, if I'd known your work for years is Jane and I you come in and say your Joseph.

I'm not even allowed to ask if you have from your boss. Can you give me documentation can you show me that your meeting with psychologist that your hormone therapy right nothing, nothing, you're now Jane you been Joe's whatever even Joseph you now Jane a final call you Jane vanilla choose the ladies restroom, etc. vertically by the pronoun of your choice IB five to $250,000.

When Jordan Peterson heard what the Canadian government was proposing.

Some say he was overreacting of the said no. He was nailing it. He said I like obey the law and if they put imprisonment on a hunger strike.

What she can do. I am like a godly way to be obnoxious, unlike I go out of my way to provoke the authorities and you put in jail use wisdom and speak the truth in love, love our neighbor as herself, running a compromise truth and compromise conviction for personal ease with connections that have to Jesus and the gospel look so completely crazy Princeton University 2016 that they want to get rid of the man or the M work can say manpower, man-hours, things like that Lehman kisses is the evil man as part of our patriarchal privilege and sexist society to get rid of crazy heritable articles in a crazy list man Omaha against a mailman personal person of Christ will just read couple days ago that that the European Parliament according to the UK telegraph December 27. UK Parliament is attempting to stamp out the use of words such as mankind and manpower and have them replaced with more gender-neutral term such as humanity and staff. This is European Parliament and you're ready have Bill C16 and Canada passed in 2017 against Mr. engendering people so what we can do.

We continue to retreat in order to avoid conflict and thereby mute all voices always speak the truth in love as compassionate as were bold and as Christlike as were firm is wises were unwavering, and if not now way and if not you and me then who so I propose this is a resolution for 2019 I will not hold back for fear of consequences. I will speak up and speak out as the occasion demands. I will love my neighbor by speaking the truth. What you say are yet many many read that resolution over time. I will not hold back for fear of consequences.

I will speak up and speak out as the occasion demands.

I will love my neighbor by speaking the truth and not talk about being obnoxious not talk about being self-righteous not talk about being nasty mean God for bid, but mean as is far from the gospel as it is week as far from the gospel so I am not going to try to provoke something and and and stir up trouble and look to be okay get my weight here not just man known on the if I see a situation and it calls for attention.

If I see a situation looking online. I'm confronted with news someone present something to me and I see this needs a truthful answer until the truth of the pastor or church. And there's a major conflict in our body and in the flock needs clarity. I say this I have to people, like the other half target. I know if I sent of Scott affect the ties and in and we just brought a new children's pastor Ron Wheeler jeopardize their salary and on and on and on. The not I will say Lord what's the truth and how can I lead your sheep into the truth do the same as parents as educators is single people students on campus where we have a platform where our circle and sphere of influence is this determine speak the truth in love, regardless of cost or consequences. 2019, we come back alone straight to the phone calls. Our next it's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown and voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 86643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown.

Thanks so much for joining us on New Year's Eve broadcasting planned through the week special shows some topics, I'll be touching on answering about your questions so looking forward to starting the new year together, and then next week will be a first on our entire history of the line of fire got a brand-new book coming out. The power of music and will have on through the week.

Different worship leaders different different songwriters, many of whom you'll you'll know sessions a minute.

We got a few key guests, but each day it's can be wonderful, rich content and eye-opening soul.

Really looking forward to that as we start the new year together right let me go to the phones will start in Tennessee.

Laura, thanks much for holding walking to the line of fire during doing well. Thanks to my question for you and dating and guide you give for young Christian Ehrhardt defined people our age you are devoted at the gospel as we would like to find. Like you I get for young, especially evangelical Christian Shirley and in what age range you talking Laura might need 20 got it okay. There may be the question that was posted site you have posted the following know that that I believe I recorded a response for its into play when that while out of the country in a few days, but I wanted to address against of people get to her my answer twice that's fine the first thing is you have to trust that God is able to connect you with the person you're supposed to marry you are or others in the situation that even if you live in a town with a population of 11 God can do that and if if God could bring me to a little Italian Pentecostal church in New York City and then Nancy, a Jewish atheist to the same church for us to meet and get married, 43 years of marriage he can even bring anyone together. I have some wild stores have heard over the years, some with close friends.

I mean, totally wild and bizarre how God brought people together so I would first really really pray for that to happen that God would really bring you together with the right person and and seek him earnestly and keep pray for your heart to be rightly prepared for it. For that relationship. That's the first and the second thing under no circumstances would I lower my standards in order to meet someone that's that spiritual suicide that's complete disaster. Well start to hang out places because I know there more people my age they're not really all Christianity not that serious about the Lord. That's disaster that it's a lot easier to pull someone down mental if someone up and I have seen people destroy their lives by doing that and again there is no faith involved with that at all. So under no circumstances do that but I would then take advantage of the vast potential connectivity we have through social media. You might meet someone from a distance and begin a relationship from a distance talking regular interacting regularly and and then only after while getting to get a face-to-face quality relationship can be built through that and I do know people who are in your exact situation found that their circle of friends was too small that they they didn't know anyone that really fit. They had very, very high standards and ended up meeting someone through three Christian online dating service and their happily married this person equally committed to the Lord is them so I don't see that is sinful or wrong or unbelief to say here my standards and I'm gonna pray and and maybe the Lord will bring about a relationship and in that way. So if it's just a matter ago get married right can't control myself or something that they were asking for trouble, but I prayed every day. This is 2 1/2 years, but I pray daily. Lord, give me the one you have for me when you have affirming to be patients until you do in the way she ended up at the church is completely bizarre.

The series of circumstances. But God did it, and brought us together saved her and brought us together so he cares about you. He does have a spouse for you or for others are talking about and if you'll continue to let him work in your heart so that you're the woman he wants you to be and then just consider the other things I say I believe things will fall into place at the right time with the right person so I hope you find that helpful. Maybe a little comforting as well.

You are right you are. You're very welcome. Laura 866342. Let's go over the Ross in California. Welcome to the line of fire doing well thank you.

Good question for you about certain treatment, but had a question for years in ministry. Have you ever had candid conversation young pastors and ministers who felt like a hidden interconnect guilt because of how easy their work week is the reason why sure that it statistically French at Shaker did a study that only 32% of pastors report Bible during the week and what New Year's resolutions can you give the young Pentecostal mission. Missionaries and ministers reading the word of God.

Every week a strong passion of mine and I believe the competitor to minister the gospel introduction and power through the Holy Spirit. What John date to any pastor and leader that needs to refresh himself or just kind of find out how to use their time wisely to study the Scriptures to believe for the anointing of the Lord and also to find wise ways to use their time throughout the week so they don't feel like a guilt that they have easy that's my question. So all my decades of ministry I've never once had a conversation with the pastor who felt guilty because work with us to easy everything that I know and work with over the years.

This document candidly puts a lot more hours than they would if there were consecutive job now.

I know missionaries getting started on the field had a lot of free time and we joke you know that they silica newsletter day in trying to create some story or you're worthy of a newsletter as they got so much free time on their hands because they're just learning the culture and in that work a regular job yet and there is no signal. While it, get the roots down but in terms of pastors that are in it. I don't other pastors or by vocational they work jobs and the shipper churches discoloration is not large enough or they just feel called to be by vocational but the biggest issue I see is business being pulled in a million different directions trying to be there for everybody and you'll never do that. So my simple counsel, Pentecostal, Baptist, forever yours a pastor leader in this the Council to myself which is always challenging to follow. Is put first things first. First things first earnest seeking of God in prayer being his word relationship with God first seek first the kingdom of God's righteousness.

All the other things will fall into place. If you put down deep spiritual roots. If you make the.

The first nine verses, especially of John 15 your life and and remain united with the vine.

So in fellowship with God in prayer and then his word living strong in your heart.

Put that first put him first. Prioritize your schedule to get the big things in first make the main things the main things. Everything else will fall to place if you have to lop off other things do it.

Make a list of everything you do in a week right eight items 10 items 30 items. Whatever it is. Everything you do in a week and all it seems important and essential all right put them in priority order and then lop off whatever we have to lop off in order to get first things first. Whatever happens, don't let the most important things be taken out of the way, I thank you sir for the call and blessings to their in California and let us go to coal in Michigan. Thanks for calling the broadcast around 500. Thank you so when I come and everything. I'm actually also will not, also, but I'm actually a student at Moody Bible, though regular yeti interview with my where my professors, Dr. you want yes yes of course yeah so actually my my question had little to do with my working to be in the book and everything on it.

I actually bought it as well and try to read it yet but so the premises basically I have people within my family that that I basically have to come to communicate that I know sometimes does Grebe think like underling friend of the family who are grant such transsexual or gay might let you know.

But like I might very bad at communicating my disagreements with them. So just wondering like I get advice you have with bring in my disagreements yeah and look, I've had some success with some family members and not success with others, but what I would do my best to do this put everything on the table and say look on the follower of Jesus. I'm a conservative Christian you not believe what the Bible says you may look them is like a bigot or a homophobe or Transvaal.

But listen, I love you, your family or your friends love you get no animosity towards you. So can we just be told the kids table use of first you tell me your story teller.

So that's Robert start tell me your story wasn't mean to you and would be transsexual hollow if you felt this way, how you feel about people like me that the question that might tell me your story. When did you first feel you are same-sex attracted when you identify as gay when you see what with the Bible says what you think about woe losing about people like me say be totally get it door about offending me.

I just don't worry about with a smile. I want to tell me. Truth and then if they say right give us your viewpoint, then you're equally candid but loving defuse the whole thing. That's what I recommend defuse it by just been told he can say were friends were family real estate friends, family. I love you. I'm committed to.

I pray for God's very best for your life. I hope you will find that offensive. I don't tell you how to live. I pray for God's very best for your life is a preference for just my luck. Let's start differences on the table so not uptight and if you offend me. That's okay. I don't mind taking on the chin with a smile. Hey, I wish you a blessed and wonderful new year and Jesus May 2019 be the best year you've ever had
