The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network. So now that we will return what is the task of the church treasurer for the light of fire your hose scholar and cultural traders. Author Michael Brown your voice and spiritual clarity reports to get on the line of fire ML dinners or host Dr. Michael Brown identified encourage strength and challenge stretched as we talk about what the church needs to know in the aftermath of the overturning of Roe V Wade also flies open wide. Anything you want to talk to me about any subject you want to raise any question you have anything that relates in any way to the line of fire foam eyes are open 866-348-7884. That's 866-34-TRUTH. As we are here today friends to infuse you with faith and truth and courage to help you stand strong in the Lord to see you healthy and thriving in God we should be your voice for moral sanity and spiritual clarity with joy. Alright, so before we go to your calls and talk about a whole range of subjects before we go to talk about Roe V Wade what the church must do the aftermath of Roe V Wade so for many yesterday, July 4, the day of celebration, a day of's setting off fireworks, thanking God for independence, thanking God for the good that is in America and the many positive things that are in America remain the number one destination on the world were people with love to live because this remains the land of opportunity. What a picture of America. Another mass shooting here it up a parade in Illinois and that the young man involved in the shooting of no no expected from them that now to some pretty gruesome videos uncovered and things like that but otherwise kept himself in peaceful and fear of killing children, killing a grandfather wheelchair just utterly horrific shedding of blood yet again in America which reminds us we need the Lord this we can pass different laws.

Yes, we can set things in motion to do our best to keep guns out of the hands of unstable people, but bottom line. Bottom line OF people can get their hands on weapons where another we need the Lord is nation.

Alright, so let's go over to an article that I wrote before that on various websites last couple of days with the church must do in the aftermath of Roe V Wade, so here's the one whose number one first week we've got to remain vigilant in prayer. It's been said during times of revival that the same prayer that bursts revival is the same prayer that sustains revival was going to be the same thing with pro-life movement. The same prayer that cause Roe V Wade to be overturned that brought about the circumstances to bring the right justices in place to make the right ruling was not just people acting. I've no question whatsoever that this was a massive spiritual stronghold of this was God at work is like the greatest problems in America are not economic and a cultural on a political and not even moral. They are spiritual first, then moral and then all of the other things as well. So prayer vigilant prayer must remain vigilant prayer must continue those who been praying fast. Yes, rejoice. Yes, thank God we take a little break to catch her breath and back to prayer because abortion is still legal in about half of America and pro choice, so-called pro-choice advocates, many just pro-abortion advocates but but they are to continue to fight the quote woman's rights of abortion and we must have a change in the mindset and the culture so prayer must continue to someone number two again this is in my article with the church must do post Roe. You can read it asked her to brown the other extreme, the recruitment news, various other sites. Here's number two. We must work in a holistic way in each state that is ready pastors about the past. Pro-life legislation, working to ensure it's the best possible legislation. For example, if if one state has a bill that you cannot get an abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, right in.

This was meant to partially undercut Roe and into passive that would would be acceptable and stable. Why stop there. If your goal is no abortions. If if it again when it's about saving the life of the mother in the in the rare super case that that's the issue right retirement elective abortion, so if the goal is to have none. Why have a 15 week law right in and why even have modified language in a heartbeat bill that will accept this except this except why not be more holistic in in legislation that's being passed so as to eradicate elective abortion abortion on demand December 2, number three.

We need to establish more pregnancy crisis centers in both pro-life and pro-abortion states. The former are essential because one offer compassionate and holistic alternatives for the women will no longer be able to obtain abortions in their state before they travel to get an abortion with them have ample access to pro-life Sen. by right so in in the states that are pro-life states and and a woman sick of gutter travel to states to get an abortion would be that right in her state, the pregnancy crisis centers where she can go in first talk with someone at end and rationally and clearly anonymously understand what her options are. Maybe that'll help her decide keep the big then.

Conversely, in the pro-abortion states, let it be that there are many, many pregnancy crisis centers so that is not just a matter of okay within a 50 mile radius. There are five abortion clinics and no pregnancy crisis centers well.

Just let us think of this, you're going to order something something mutual about buying a new computer right you got one website you've ordered before you search is that there click home. It's just one that quickly boom by now you start because you have an account there is your new credit cards on file because your address delivery. All that is given right bone.

You do it though. What if you could save $50 or $1500 computer which had a call a number you had to wait on hold for half an hour then you had to set up a whole account then then you had to give all your information, then you have a credit you might just say out save $50 is press a button the same way your weight room and I'm the first in the important thing is the best choice and you have to drive to our schedule pregnancy crisis. Sen. to talk to someone face-to-face about alternatives or dry five minutes to Planned Parenthood where you do if you are not sure you you might just as a convenient thing that is what human beings do so Prince a crisis is that means more churches getting involved were churches, helping to fund these were people willing to volunteer time more people willing to take these jobs and take the fight. The comes with it so that's that's number three, number four, we must step forward as the church to provide that help in every way possible. What help will help with the couple that wants to have their baby surrounding them. Maybe some financial help to get them started intent to get their feet on the ground.

The ongoing financial counsel may be friends, support groups may be getting more involved in adoption to be getting more involved in foster care getting more involved in volunteering in pregnancy crisis centers refunding them right so so let's step forward is the church in these ways number five. We must continue to raise our voices and get our message out seeking to change hearts and minds both on a national and interpersonal level. You might say a document on the radio show like you do your friends or family members to coworkers you on social media. You know anyone who differs with you we can be a voice to them and get them thinking, this is where the battle for life will be played out for years to come.

On an individual level across generational and ethnic and racial lines through the school systems in the media and the courts, and this is also the battle against slavery was one not justly legislatively not just by voting in getting in Pres. Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation and and not just through the horrors of employee Civil War, but also through prayer, through evangelism to change hearts to changing minds through books like uncle Tom's cabin that deepen people's antislavery convictions and open the minds of others and and we must keep emphasizing the importance of revival and renewal in the church that the changes start with us that repentance begin with us. From there, evangelism the great commission.

Charles Finney was a strong abolitionist and he was a leader in the abolitionist movement. As I've read if you were part of his church in New York City involved in any way in slavery slave trade you. You can take communion when he was president of Oberlin College that was part of an escape route so-called Underground Railroad for slaves fleeing for their freedom but look what he said in 1836. Writing to Theodore Weld was an abolitionist leader enough abolition can be made in appendage of the general revival of religion. All is well. I fear no other form of kindness, questionable saber country, or the liberty or soul of the slave will most alarming fact is that the absorbing abolitionism has drunk up the spirit of some of the most efficient revival man and is fast doing so to the rest and many of our evolution brethren seem satisfied with nothing less than his notice of the best revivals and advances the nation just gave themselves to fighting in slavery. Please add mistake this I been trying to resist from the beginning. As I've all along, foreseen that should that take place. The church and world, ecclesiastical and state leaders will become embroiled in one common frontal squabble that will roll a wave of blood over the land. The causes are operating on my view, is certain to lead to this result as a cause is to produce its effect in this the public mind can be engrossed with the subject of salvation make abolition and appendage.

Just as we may temperance and appendage to the revival in Rochester New York. In other words revival in the church.

First, evangelism of lost first and then with that abolitionism. Then with that in our day the pro-life movement. But if you put all the eggs in the pro-life basket and forget revival in the church evangelism of the world. Discipleship then you will have is even more conflict, more divisive blood for revival and advances of the first pro-life movement to change the nation read the article and ask Dr. Brown line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown drawing the line of fire. Here's the recall, 866-3487 84 know if you're planning to call this Friday against special broadcast responding to social media questions for this will be taking calls but in call today.

866-34-TRUTH 784.

Any subject under the sun very very happy to take it one more word about Roe V Wade and her attitude moving forward and and then we go to the phones. Many have believed that America is going down only that things are getting worse. Only that there's no turning back. There's no hope of another national revival or awakening that it's too late for Merrick. I do not hold that you I believe were in an urgent moment. I believe that we are in perhaps the most critical time in our nations entire history. I believe that it really is is the title of one of my recent books revival or we die and is a subtitles is a great awakening is her only hope so. So I am fueled by a holy urgency at the same time I have and convicted for many many years from 20 years that God is still moving in America and that we will see a gospel based moral and cultural revolution in the nation where where people recognize enough is enough. Were people are discussed it with the status quo with a recognize there must be more than just as in the 60s hippies, radicals, rebels, yet we are in sin. We were in the flesh, but were also looking for more. We are all we also realize that the more the American dream you got people regeneration dying in the war in Vietnam for what start questioning a lot of family values do we just go along with it. When groups in America love or leave it. The other groups and make peace make make love not war peace with the peace sign in it.

They were there was a search in the midst of the sin and carnality in the midst of the sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll, Eastern religion research. I believe that will continue to happen in America. In our day and we missing the pushback for years we have been seeing pushback in many areas of society no more than right now. Be at pushback against transgender activism, or other aspects of LGBT Q plus extremism is a pushing back a pushback against cancel culture a pushback against extreme weakness, a pushing back against the pro-abortion movement. So the fact that Roe V Wade has no return still is not too late that there are positive signs but we must build on them first and foremost using the spiritual weapons that we have right with his or not weapons of physical violence. Weapons that are engaged in prayer and using the word of God preaching the truth and believing God and living in obedience to him.

This is how we quote fights not not by storming a building or burning it down or vanquishing weapons that vanquishing weapons of you know what I mean. But many case bearing arms is not the way that Transamerica route were not out our new and outgoing.

You know that we change the nation.

Please, but we must remain vigilant, be encouraged. If we wait took almost 50 years Roe V Wade to be overturned. Other things can be returns.

Well, that's what I'm believing for. As we look to win people to the Lord. One at a time like we go to the phones starting in Florida. Isaiah welcome to the line of fire-Eric yes I can. Our traffic like all of my question is concerning warfare command that God gives Israel in Deuteronomy. Specifically, Deuteronomy 20 verse 11 comments really bother to go ahead. I'll start been really bothering me of prosecuted Charlotte that sparked a debate. Deuteronomy 2011 is where Moses tells the people that any CDs that are are are off. And anything you think they come to they offer Dr. Pete make that trip she accepts. That the inhabitants are put under forced labor, and if not then there destroyed and then the rest like the women at all about oil all that and that I don't know if in chapter 2 were side on the keynote and in your destroyed all the women, men and children of that literal not because Deuteronomy 20 it says that the fit is far off. You scare them see that are nearby with Jebusite the Hittite and right. The note says to destroy everything. A brief and how I can't help hyperbole in first Kings. Solomon Solomon put certain people there.

Defendant under forced labor.

I'm trying to figure out what the heck is going on here like part like Wyatt moral justification is therefore diverse in Deuteronomy 20 verse 11 God calls to put those inhabited under forced labor to make peace out here because know God is right only what is going on very fair questions Isaiah so let me ask you this, when you read through the Bible about the nature of God doesn't consistently say that he's slow to anger and great mercy right yeah okay and doesn't consistently indicate that he's looking for ways to show mercy rather than destroy the lives he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires that they repent and live right okay and is natures ultimately expressed at the cross, God sends his son to die for us rather than destroy us all. He offers us forgiveness through the cross and Jesus even hang on the cross. Praise father forgive them for they know not what they do to screw suppliers so would you say that that is a consistent revelation of the nature of God. Even first on for God is love.

Would you agree that that's consistent through the Bible grout. I like the duck and hide by what you how holy and rec.it, but I'd like you executive right right so there has to be some good reason for this is not arbitrary. That would be contrary to the forgotten fact if you read through Deuteronomy straight through you.

You would have a ready read this in Deuteronomy chapter 10 speaking about the nature of God, and let's just see Moses is recounting these things mark the heavens to their outermost reaches belong to the Lord their God, the earth and all that's in it, and the call to circumcise their hearts for the Lord your God is God supreme Lord supreme the great, the mighty, the awesome God who shows no favor takes a bribe, but upholds the cause of the fatherless and the widow and befriends the stranger, providing him with food and clothing. You two must befriend the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. So this is what you were ready read in Deuteronomy so the answer is as follows. According to Genesis 15 the inhabitants of the land were growing in their wickedness. But God would not allow Israel to have the land until their wickedness reached such a level that they had to be dealt with. So God waited for hundred years, including allowing his people to be slaves in Egypt think of this, and to suffer Egypt because it wasn't hard for the punishment yet so these nations were were deserving of punishment just like a judge when many sentencing a serial rapist and serial killer to jail for 10 rapes and five murders.

He doesn't say okay three years and then after that you're out on parole know that would be horrifically unfair so God and in pronouncing a death sentence over these peoples, even to the point that their own children were were corrupted by the sins of the previous generations and some would argue that this was a mixed breed that it was nifty Lehman. It was a mixed breed that had to be destroyed of a fallen angel, and human beings being putting aside wickedness had been passed down and what they deserved was death, and in order to to free the world of the pollution they would bring would bring God had to do if the Israelites intermarried with them.

The Israelites would've been destroyed. Messiah never would've come with take this further. The for server two was a mercy for those that were nearby.

There were to be driven out now. In some cases they were just driven out not killed or driven out and it is hyperbole and interest in language. Talk about wiping out every single one because we know through history just read into judges. They were all wiped out.

There were 20 employees that were preserved and lived for generations side-by-side with the Israelites so that's part of ancient near Eastern terminology that utterly bought them out but number one there were worthy of death, and therefore they needed to be destroyed as harsh as that sounds.

Think of them like ISIS killers and others that are or if you don't kill them they kill you.

That's one thing for Israel to intermarry with those in the land would've been spiritually fatal. Israel would fall in its assembly judge, the Messiah never would've come to save the whole world. Therefore it's like cutting off an unhealthy limb to save the body. Thirdly, nations that were more distant. They should have been destroyed. God's mercy allow them to serve Israel that was a mercy. It would be like sending someone to forced labor. Okay, you should get the death penalty but instead report you work on these projects, which will ultimately benefit others.

So in that case it was a mercy for them. Also an opportunity for them to become worshipers of the God of Israel if they became true worshipers of the God of Israel, they would ultimately have equal status with the people of Israel. Over time, so you have to look at this in light of the compassionate, kind, gracious nature of God is calling to be kind to strangers.

These people wanted Israel dead right so those that were able to receive mercy ready to go in the service financial world that would be a great extension of mercy doesn't do this is been commingled version titled destroy redemption, I hope this helps. Isaiah helps the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown a question from Eddie from excuse me get that he is currently from Isaiah, a right before the break is it in my book. Has God failed to has God failed you. I also address some of these questions in a little more depth and in my book, compassion, father, or consuming fire.

Who is the God of the Old Testament I address them as well so has God failed you have a couple chapters that deal with some of these difficult questions in the Bible and then compassionate father or consuming fire, who's got the Old Testament I deal with these head-on as well. There are solid answers above all, we know the Lord is. We know these trustworthy son a cop out as knowingly as knowing his faithfulness is long-suffering how patient is God towards you and towards me think of that as the God we serve God we love. That's the same God that called on Israel to drive out the Canaanites soul same God consistent in every way, grading, mercy, slow to anger some of said it's a good thing he's great mercy, slow to anger, rather than great in anger, slow to mercy those the case will be long since gone all right. Any question of any kind were opening the phones today, 866-348-7884. It should be this coming Monday, July 11 thereabouts that we send out or E blast with the long-awaited announcement about our next Israel trip supreme not getting my emails is a great time to do it Esther to Brown.org Cascade your brown.org. We've got a great welcome program.

So Esther to Brown.org center for the emails and I got a couple of really neat announcements tying with Israel trip without you give them the next day or two here.

I let us go to Misty in Tennessee. Welcome to the modifier. Thanks for calling. Thank you for having me have one thing to say about their way and that I'm a registered nurse and I recently had spoken with a brand-new private enter at like 20 minutes for me and they get started during coveted and I think God, held started during coveted not been able to say that many people and she said they had been crying for an RN to get on board with them because they want to start an medical treatment birth young girls or women that need. They help fill the positive on that because you know we can talk and we can begin it or for it if were not doing anything I like. I'm so excited about the thing. Over time, but cannot do and then, googled and found that that the good thing great wonderful lately, so let let's do whatever we can in any way we can if we all do it part-time, full-time, whatever opportunities we have will make a difference a lot of fear and doing a little will make a difference. You write okay so I question I get you taken any question, yes, yes we are real and can have not have my daughter typically started dating this guy and that the Christian but he started indoctrinating my daughter and my grandchildren that are flat and I yet I would like. I trust your outlook on things that they like that you're pretty well. Birth in many subjects and no I don't agree with that, wanted to know what your opinion and so let me answer more broadly. First, I would be very concerned about anyone that is pushing something like that on on people that they are befriending or going with so your daughter grandchildren. That would really concerned that if it is a fringe belief in there that into it that they're pushing it on others. Yeah, that concerns me just about who that person is with their personality is what marriage and family would be like with that person. That's amusingly big danger sign.

Okay if if it was they were pushing loving Jesus, more loving your neighbor board be closer to God and and and and emanating the goodness of the Lord. I say wonderful. But when you're pushing something fringe like this and try to indoctrinate as one thing is just if it comes up, the person has an opinion that okay I did a differ, but if there pushing out and in an indoctrinating way and this is a big part of their identity. That's me as a "okay, so that's that's number one number two there is I've not yet to this day had any serious interaction with a flatter believer.

No one has ever called the show and try to make an argument a coherent argument for flatter it.

There is nothing in Scripture to support the Bible uses observational language. It talks about the sun rising in the sun going down right we all now know that the sun does not go around the earth, but we still use that terminology today. What time is sunrise with time sunset right it's observational language. The four corners of the earth do not mean that the earth has to be a square or rectangle. This means the forehands and you have other verses that speak of God sitting on the circle of the earth does that mean that they perceived it to be a global.

It's not what it's about is not the point of it so and then from everything you have to end up arguing and to hold to this position. You know and and that the view from outer space is not real or people are lying island you know it. It really get you into all kinds of weird conspiracy stuff so yeah, I really really be very cautious about this and really well with your daughter and talk honestly. I have tried part of our that act like chocolate after not long ago I think it deliberate well occupied that deliverance came and he prowled out that people have. Any think the labor like very gleefully and he had greatly done it for me. What ever our life that he'd only been in quite like a month and I I learned about things that my grandchildren talking about people I talked to them about it and he tell me I had near beer theater where he and and that I have other. Probably fell. Now my daughter not talking to me and it really weird really fast and is that's that's big problem on every side. Misty, a big big problem be warning flags really got to pray for your daughter to see through some of the snow. The church might be teaching in a healthy way and people would be taking things through stream of the church may be teaching an unhealthy way and the people are just following it it it logically, but been here even as also you probably have this results of the biblical you probably have other spirits so yeah, I really pray for your daughter to see whatever extremes are going on in this young man's life and he may not love the Lord.

Just be immature and need some solid teaching discipling, or he may be off-the-wall but you hate for your daughter to get caught up in a way for them to cut you off with I say me, that may the Lord intervene.

Sorry to hear that me the Lord intervene 866-34-TRUTH John TC on YouTube thank you for your donation really appreciated quote just want to thank you for all you've done for the body or ministry is been a blessing from that's over here. Thank you, thank you for helping us reach others.

I your buddy Eddie in Madison, Connecticut. Welcome to the line of fire around the battlefield and write about talk about. Have a good night. I costarred to look at everybody read Jesus in my father's house are many mansions that I goal prepare a place for you. Come back. Conjecture that where I am your baby come back. I over there if it is I am will be also thought right away, started regarding the all but absent from the bugs out of which one of the Scriptures are another neuron and whatnot Scripture got me you are about to that where I am, you will be to hereinafter so here's here's the dismissed in your Bible study where you had yet another title as it's good you guys are altogether all these years the need in your Bible studies are okay so number one we have pictures like Revelation the sixth chapter speaks of the souls of those who were beheaded for the faith there before the throne of God crying out so there are people in heaven right now the multitudes. In fact, according to others Scripture and in the presence of God. But what we do with this. What we keep reading in John 14. The first thing that that we we notice is that there's a word that's used here for room it's it's it's it's the Greek on I hear right so it's it's a room it's a place to live. We have to get the word monastery from this root from from this okay so that's first three when you keep reading down this verse occurs one of the time in the New Testament and here it is a Jesus says in verse 23. Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching, my father will love them and we will come to them and make our home with them in the Greek this is the exact same word that's used so this is what Osama sets about heaven revenues about heaven is outside my heaven.

Jesus is to prepare a place he dies and then returns to LaSalle by his spirit and we now live with them with the father the son by the spirit we live with them.

So again, this word is is found and_click on it to confirm it. In the Greek, but this word in verse three is only found two times in the entire New Testament. This Greek word right and just getting to it. A gang okay and only here and in the third verse of John 14 and then down these few other verses. What's it saying that the home. The room that he prepares for us is spiritual is not talking about the mansion in heaven. We often talk about that and Sawyer is met. Hey, the purpose of heaven is not masses. The purpose of heaven is to be in the presence of God worshiping him, loving him without restriction.

Life without sin, without Silas flesh, but he has come back and brought us to this place of fellowship room with him. Father, the son, but the spirit living together. This was, here, now in that room.

That place right now. Alright thanks buddy for the question is the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown confirming that this Greek word, my neighbor, plural mom I is is used so obvious a time of the same thing in verse 23 as in verse two. All right we go back to all for the but the phones don't forget to visit vitamin mission.com check out the wonderful health supplements from my friend and personal doctor, Dr. Mark Stigler yet. Check these out you the special Dr. Brown discount when you go there and it turned out, Christina turns makes a donation to our ministry to help us reach more people get a more radio stations be a voice for moral sanity and spiritual clarity.

For more and more people I we go back to the phones at dawn in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Welcome to the line of fire affected Dr. Brown forever.

You're very welcome sir. Remember that we often bet of effective pro-choice for the real believer.

What I know I would not say that if you vote Democrat you can't be a believer, I would say that your priorities are misplaced.

If and unless the Democrat is a pro-life Democrat that this is just like in the days of slavery, I would've said if that's that's the first issue for me. Not sure other believers that vote Democrat and their believers within the Democratic Party right for sure. However, I do believe that is and I can understand how someone so I can vote for Tromp or I have issues with Republicans. So then you just mode for libertarian writing candidate, or don't vote. But in my view it's the first priority is the shedding of innocent blood.

And therefore if I know a candidate's proportion I could vote for them in if there were strong in other areas. That is not my own viewpoint about conviction you first Samuel 15,000 you bring the previous caller percent of 15 versus first three where foxhole was followed by by God. God tells them to go to Malachi, and they both man and woman, infant and suckling off family fanfare and girth of the women will probably read it. So this is an act of divine judgment because of Amalek sin is an act of divine judgment or wherever I've heard fifth of the ministers explain this by saying will notify Malachi so people have the courage or overly so evil hope of, and that the guy was working directly with the children right there. Even some there are some scientists that would say that certain aspects of wickedness could be inherited, passed down generation via the wife of different of the aspect of what all is very very simple.net number one we don't know that okay and and you much a symbolist.

Let's just kill the neighbor then that neighbors way. I think that neighbors we could personally kill them. Isn't that murder is that's murder will that led baby that is got a really bad mommy and daddy. I mean there really really bad people so cynical, kill the baby. That's murder right so when God pronounces judgment. How many times this is happened in the Bible outside of the conquest of Canaan. How many times this is happened in the Bible. Once once one time and and having God feel when when people evil people pagans were sacrificing their own babies how to heat heat.

He'd judge them for when Israel sacrificed their own babies.

Will you be with you babies, you have the right to do that God gives life God takes life when God said in this one extremes case, wipe them all out.

That was done but say well maybe that baby reports can be wicked, or that would just give us the right to murder murder anybody to use that as as a pro-abortion argument that's a pro murder argument that saying hey I think those people down the block. You like the Amalekites. Let's kill them God for bid absolutely categorically not God forbid I appreciate the call.

The question, but I have to answer as forcefully as possible know we do not advocate or condone murder because I calling us and commanding us to go around murdering people that we might think are wicked and I know you're not saying we should go around doing that, but he refuses to seize a pro-abortion argument. God forbid I let's go to John in North Dakota. Welcome to the line of fire.

So I Dr. Brown hey five time path that you North Dakota. I have a simple question.

It really bothered me. After the whole thing happened with role.

Wait I mean, people have been praying for the book many many years and I kind of picked out all my favorite free for the light obviously I'm agreed to myself, but that many of the speaking to my life. A lot of them arithmetic the Pentecostals and ultimate media. Many of them I would say probably mean 80 or 90% were absolutely silent on on that Friday and the day off them. The day after that and I was really Greek by that some even feel big big minute that everyone would know and my question to you is, is that is that not a problem but that men and women of God won't stand up publicly for this, and when, why would they not, and isn't it the problem why we are in America where we are at this time it's a giant problem.

That's a terrible problem. It's inexcusable. There's no good rationale for now. The reason that some would give is, I want to be able to win people to Jesus. I don't want anything to stand in the way of winning people to Jesus. This would be the mindset right relentlessly on his new book, not image when it does a lot I love about the book and a lot of the differences he's ready agreed to come on here so we can have a discussion about this and ever ready shared privately. Some areas that I love and some are really different so will have that discussion. But here's the mindset abortion is so volatile. The moment you touch it, you can get instant political divisions. Instead emotional divisions people that you want to reach with the gospel. You know won't be able to reach people be turned away from Jesus. Better to not talk about that publicly to minister life you know with it in other ways is to teach the word practice. Love one another as Jesus loved us reach the lost, and then build up a good positive culture of life in and help people to understand and then we can more effectively reach the world. Now the reason I say that met that mentality is not realistic as number one. The great commission is a call to go make disciples and Empire making disciples is to teach them principles of life and truth. If we lived in the days of slavery, segregation like let's say that were church in the South.

In the midst of slavery and segregation were not supposed to address it is controversial. What were not supposed to speak out against injustice were not supposed to stand up for the poor and the oppressed were not supposed to go against the cultural norms were called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We must do it in a way that exalts Jesus. We must do it in a way that is not political. In other words it's it's one thing to be pro-life is another thing to be pro-Tromp or Pro Biden or Pro decide this or pro so that's a totally separate issue right and it's wanting to get political. My book coming on September the political seduction of the church is a subtitle help millions of American Christians have confused the gospel with politics right so we get super caught up in political Republican versus Democrat that's not the issue I talk about this a lot. As part of my calling as a radio host in op-ed writer but your average pastor is is you talk very little politics but absolutely moral and cultural issues. This is the world that we limit. What about in the big church all the women now with the overturning of Roe V Wade, who had abortions who dealing afresh with guilt were dealing with. With that, the demons of the past.

So to say coming up and and and their struggling. What about the people in the church contemplating abortion for us to not publicly rejoice at the same time to take advantage of this time to say to all of you women that think they were heartless and crazy. Can we talk we want to get to know that we quit look you're afraid you think that were just a bunch of old man telling you what you can do with your body you really think about the 11-year-old girl that gets raped by her uncle, you force this girl to have a baby and a cool monster. Are you this is our perfect time to reach out to talk with compassion to say would you just for one moment, consider is that a human being in the room is that everything so to me it is a massive massive gap is a major reason that the church is so confused is not that were talking about these issues too much from the pulpit. Quite the contrary, we hardly are and then we do. We often get political about it or we are so right in our position. We forget the people hurting of often said that when I'm dealing with with gay issues of same-sex quote marriage or trans issues, and I am equipping the church to deal with this that I will also speak as if there's a 15-year-old kid in the front row, suicidal gay identified wondering if there's any hope or love from his church where I say I want him to hear.

Love if you cut us. We believe love is the same thing here. John May the Lord awaken shepherds in his body.
