I fully understand sometimes are all here at newscast in the background and it's a particular perspective that strikes me as very inaccurate and I can't but I wish I could get on that newscast right then and interact. And these are ultimately weighty issues, political leaders can turn our nation in directions that that we don't feel are good or healthier right and they affect our lives to the lives of our children or grandchildren. So I fully understand that these things are waiting on that minimize net and I'm not saying that the solution is that we totally disengage. We don't vote that we don't participate in the political process that we don't weigh him that we just go off. Kind of in a amount somewhere raise our families. Obviously, it's not the solution obviously is not viable for tens of millions of people do that and recall to be salt and light which means right in the midst of this world, so I want to give you seven simple principles right, you can jot these down to get them by going back over the show afterwards.

From that position being with the Lord in a spiritual heavenly place. We now live our lives here in this earth politics. Those earthly politics is going to have A carnal battles insults attack. It's just another spirit even the godliness politician who keeps himself or herself clean doesn't get involved in negative campaigns was honest and a person of conviction and thank God for people like that in the political world, there are still in an earthly realm in an earthly world that operates often very carnal principle. So we remember that we are we are of a different spirit that's research the number one politics is earthly, we are heavenly. Number two. No politician or party is our Savior. No politician or party is our Savior. As important as the presidential elections are they pale. They absolutely pale in comparison for relationship with the Lord Jesus and the importance of his will be done on the earth and II don't care how important how big the elections are and how much the candidate is is just the person I want to vote for most of the time it's a mix you like this quality like that. But even if it was the ideal candidate.

It's still just a flesh and blood human being over flesh and blood government that person is not our Savior wrote a whole book with that title. Donald Trump is not my Savior but this is a someone who voted for Trump would vote for him again against the current crop of Democrats and yet I want to emphasize he's not my Savior.

I'm not putting my trust in him for the moral transformation of America not putting my trust in him, or political party to save the day right so it changes our whole attitude. I number three are first and ultimate allegiance is to Jesus. Our first and ultimate allegiance is to Jesus.

That means if we differ with the candidate that we have to say I differ. I voted for Pres. Trump but he may say something that grieves me what my first allegiance is to Jesus to be a faithful witness of summits is how you feel about that. I pray for the president.

I supported but I'm terribly disappointed with that. I really differ with it. If you voted for Pres. Obama and supported him and then he did something that deeply grieved you, then you have to say voted for him. For these reasons but I'm terribly grieved over this ugly withdraw that that we cannot have our primary allegiance to a party or to a leader to present her somewhere else so that we can't speak the truth anymore so that we now sell our souls and compromise our witness to to keep our political solidarity know the solidarity we need to keep his with Jesus more I live like this. It simplifies things a lot because I just keep my eyes on the Lord that I have. Okay, these things are important but there are a whole different level.

Number four politics is one tool among many that we use to better our country. Politics is one tool among many that we used to better our country so there are a whole lot of things and import the educational realm is important world of media and entertainment. How that influences people. That's important what's happening in your own home and raising your kids. That's massively, massively, massively important Evan there so many other things there social programs to help people and benefit people are there thousand different things that that we can doom be involved in for the betterment of our country. Politics is one part and because the media's day and night has steps of the talk about in the whole reason for being on the news of your Fox news or CNN whoever is to get people to watch may have a mission with the ultimate goal is to get people to watch and to be profitable were nonprofit, we have a different motivation, but others that are for-profit. They want to get eyes watching and if they can have controversy look at more eyes watching and in the more intense the controversy and the more frustrating the dollar. The more people watch for good is because they agree because they disagree and gets blown up that the son us. That's not us with step back for moment as it politics is important. This is one tool that we have the benefit of better our country in my own life.

I'm called to comment on these more because of radio and TV in writing so I'm called to look at this more than most, but to be honest in terms of my vision for impacting the nation. My vision for scene change come if I have a list of 10 who I vote for that sin 078 down the list there a whole bunch of other things that come first.
