So first thing I just want to remind us of that to step back and to worship the God who rules and reigns to worship the God who is King and to say, God, your will be done in heaven as it is in earth just as your will is executed in heaven perfectly just a have a plan in heaven that is executed, may it be executed just the same on the earth may be perfectly executed, may it come to pass on the earth up part of. That's a long term prayer right for the final manifestation of the kingdom with the return of Jesus when he sets up his kingdom on the earth and destroys wickedness and and whether you believe in a literal thousand year millennium as I do and then eternity work from here into eternity. Either way, we are ultimately praying for his return for the destruction of all evil for the manifestation the full manifestation of the kingdom of God without any resistance, forever and ever and ever. That's the long term of your will be your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, but wasn't me the short term was of interest. Pres. He is revealing the depth of the divisions that exist and remember a truism from the words of Jesus and repeated by Abraham Lincoln that that a house divided will not stand. I also believe were seeing how many Christians look to the political system for change more than the kingdom of God.

How many Christians look to a political leader or party to bring about social change or to bring about what they believe are the important agendas for society that that they are looking to the political system in the world much more than you are to God in the church said it many a time, but if I draw up a list of the 10 most important things that I could do to to bring lasting change to America voting would be on a number eight or nine or 10. I was way down the list of course would start with prayer it would start with repentance. It would start with evangelism and it discipling and standing up for what's right and so many things and and and being cold is God's spirit, etc. but what's happening now through this whole system.
