We will go from some Hebrew word studies to a Holocaust memorial to your calls stage for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH. That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown thank you so much for joining us on this thoroughly Jewish Thursday Michael Brown delighted to be with you.

866-34-TRUTH number to call 866348784 if you have a Jewish related Hebrew related Israel related question sometimes will even touch more broadly on Islam as well of all, not nearly as expert on Islam as some of these other subjects not expert on Islam. 86634. Glad to answer your questions. If you differ with me if you Jewish person you don't believe Jesus is the Messiah differ with some of my other beliefs, audits, Jewish related lines are open 866-34-TRUTH gathering of about 50 world leaders in Jerusalem this week to say never again regarding the Holocaust and the destruction of the Jewish people something to talk about that. Something about that that I want to bring up and what about end time prophecies in time prophecy say that the whole world will turn against the Jewish people, we make use of the test. Are there prophecies that say that in the end of the age during the millennial kingdom that the nations of the world will honor and serve the Jewish people resort thesis had a dream and think about end time prophecy.

Just look at a practical way about today what about today. Justice and righteousness. Today Israel Palestinians the world we look at those things. So we'll talk about that. Also, 866-34-TRUTH first though. I want to open up the Hebrew Bible to you. We often do this on thoroughly Jewish Thursday. As you know if your regular listener to the line of fire. One day, for example, this week. Tuesday we talked about the impeachment process yesterday more broadly about culture wars today.

It usually subject tomorrow to hear calls on any subjects we cover a lot of different ground if there's some breaking news during the show we feel it's important to comment on that are major world news, of course, will do that but otherwise one of the beauties about this broadcast of nothing better than any other broadcast with unique things about it is that by God's grace we get to cover a lot of different ground and a lot of different subjects and hopefully educate you edify you, strengthen you and encourage you in a wide range of subjects, so the Hebrew word studies. Obviously something that I've fascinated and fascinated with having devoted decades of my life to studying the biblical languages and to doing word studies my doctoral dissertation is making a was based on one Hebrew word of the Hebrew word studies for some major theological dictionaries and for special articles and things like that so I want to do a few with you. Take a few through a few and give you some guidelines in terms of practical ways to do things so first let's look at the word. Emily not Emily not and if you look in the listing of the classic Brown driver brings lexicon which is over hundred years old. Now if you look at that. Emily not you'll see it's listed in the heading is a feminine noun so NF and then actually Kai, I just notice that we got the wrong caption underneath it. I regret the caption for the word for terrace of those are watching just ignore what you just saw. It's it's actually a bit of a game to get a certain Hebrew font with accents and pullover into Photoshop but if we look up Emily not in Brown driver Briggs so major lexicon. It it gives different basic meanings for and it lists as the most fundamental meanings, firmness, steadfastness and fidelity firmness, steadfastness and fidelity and yet it's the word that is translated in the King James and most of her English translations are many, brings translations in Habakkuk 2 for as faith, the righteous will live by his faith. So how do we get from firmness, steadfastness, fidelity, faithfulness I get from there to faith so here's what's very interesting about the word Emily not. It does not mean faith in an abstract kind of way. It means faith in a sense of faithfulness of fidelity, steadfastness, some of the words are used here so that there is a trust that faith is not just up. I'm exercising phrase meaning I hold through certain confession of faith.

I hold certain things to be true something that's kind of abstract and sociological. Rather, it's a trusting in it say it is a leaning on a in many of you may understand faith and that we are ready, but there's a concreteness to it. In the Hebrew concept that's important to hold onto. So if if I was doing word study what I would do is this. Since I'm in Habakkuk chapter 2 verse four and in in the King James the just shall live by his faith. New King James just shall live by his faith CSB the righteous will live by his faith, ESV, the righteous shall live by his faith. NIV but the righteous principally by his faithfulness and ET the person of integrity will live because of his faith fullness NLT the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God complete Jewish Bible. The righteous will attain life through trusting faithfulness and the new Jewish publication Society version, but the righteous man is rewarded with life for his fidelity, his faith fall nests alright so so if I'm looking at this, obviously I see all the different English translations, but the first thing that I would do is is I would click on that word all right and I would say okay out where does it occur in the Hebrew Bible, how many times does it occur, and one search using some of my Bible software comes up saying that it occur is a 49×49 versus 49 times in the very first time is Exodus 1712. So what I'll now do is a look at each of the occurrences know if it's thousands of occurrences are many, many hundreds that I look more for subdivisions and things like this pose policy houses were used when looking verse after verse after verse after verse after verse after verse after verse and see how it's used and get a feel for what's filling the blank. What word related to these concepts fits in best so the first occurrence I find is Exodus 1712. As you know the story is Josh was out fighting the Amalekites and Moses is holding up that the rod of victory when he holds it up that the children of Israel triumphing with his arms guitar you. Let's sit down and start to lose so Ironhorse stand on either side of a cyst on a rock in the hold his hands up so we can hold the staff up and this his hands were what is it say you delve Emily not his hands were steady, they were filled with faith. They were steady and that's how many will translate his hands were steady then Deuteronomy 32 four. The next time it occurs in speaking about the Lord will be from the ESV, the rock's work is perfect for all his ways are justice, a God of moon. A God of faithfulness, a God of faith full. This is not that he has a lot of faith in you can believe Freddie thinks he's God know he is utterly and completely faithful, dependable, you can see a connection between the steady faithfulness, dependable use different word in each place. Right to translated into English. Just like if you translate from English into Hebrew, Greek, and my nephews are different word in each case to convey the meaning of the English in a different context of sulfur sandal 2623. There it says there's a prayer. May the Lord repay every man for his righteousness and his loyalty CSB yesterday. Faithfulness through Segan that nuance there is not so much, not so much one of faith, believing, although the verbal form means to believe you said it in Hebrew had you say to believe use the verbal form from the same root, but it doesn't just mean some abstract believing it is that leaning on that, depending that that I am putting my faith in God's faithfulness, which leads to my faithfulness to God. The idea of having Emily not real faith and not being faithful to God would be kind of unsinkable really an oxymoron in the Hebrew that you can have Emily not faith without being faithful are some 33.

Four. Yes, refer the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in Emily not done in faithfulness. So that's that's in the Psalms verse after verse after verse. Some 100 verse five and there. There are many others of his Emily not endures forever and what his faith.

Full this is faithfulness endures forever. Yes, so verse after verse declaring this Proverbs here of a there's a contrast between a false witness and a truthful witness of a reliable witness and what's the word use their it is Emily not, that is the faithful witness who speaks righteously and ET the faithful witness tells what is right, so when I when I get to Habakkuk now I have a little different perspective.

And there's a debate in translation when it says the righteous will live by his Emily not doesn't mean he will live by God's faithfulness or by his own faithful this and his faithfulness is the outworking of his faith, and Paul quotes this is an essential verse. He quoted Romans and Galatians.

The say the just the righteous will live by his faith with faith and faithfulness go hand in hand. Because of God's faithfulness. We put our faith in him and thereby are faithful to him. You see, just looking at the usage arises not just faith. The abstract sense of believing a certain thing to be true is rather a life lived because of the truth. A true trust that is put in God because of which we live. Certainly faith faithfulness go hand in hand.

The helpful is an open something up for your hopes all right 866343 this more. This is your success in visions with take your call 606. Welcome to the modifier like going very well, thank you. About a year ago I talked to you… Erica and I that, but I've been really really big an audience and it got me to start only buying the Aramaic Bible logger English and now I'm wondering our left and across the goat resources that are so expensive you. The Torah ever to find out that the prophet would you recommend bungalow or you know Jonathan will uncle… Is the primary one is used. So if you're reading the translations of the Aramaic Bible beneficial work which is which is an excellent academic work that will give you all the variance in the in the footnotes and things like that where you have different versions and variations which is coming mainly in the Torah of the washer dealing primarily with Targum Jonathan but within the Tory can of reckless or civil. Jonathan or you can even have the authority so you have these different ones that have some discovered. More recently, but in any case, a Targum Colossus. The standard one that would be any religious Jew would be familiar with. If a religious Jew was studying the text you have what's called the growth of the Lord which is big Scriptures so the so-called rabbinic Bible. Multiple volumes still have the biblical text in the biggest letters in the next to that Targum Colossus for the for the tour. The next biggest letters and then all the commentaries and then some will have the other target meme as well. But one of the thing you may want to look into in terms of overall costs also integrate so get them use them for further academic study. But if you have, for example accordance Bible software which have been using a lot Lagos and in accordance the main ones that I that I use them in for English works and things like that and seasoning for works in English along with Hebrew and Greek and that have a list of just purely for rabbinic but if if you will go there and check on targums. You can actually get English translation of all the targums and it's it's not that expensive for the entire Bible so you can just check on those options, but otherwise you Targum Colossus is which are following.

That's the primary one that is used in that that we have the most weight. If you dealing with the traditional Jew were trying to get an idea of what you subleased to the centuries, what passages they took to be messianic and not UNCLOS is your better source without really going to wear with their numbers are everywhere on the private they really downplay that. In places where Christian or you look there is this is a famous appendix and Alfred either Sean's life and times of Jesus the Messiah where he listed to his knowledge all the verses in the Old Testament that were applied messianic Lee. In rabbinic writings and probably the majority of them were applied and homiletical waste versus you'd never dream of in a million years of having any messianic import or quoted in that regard. Not assuming the plain sense of them.

But in the homiletical way on the other hand, Isaiah 714 is not found in any ancient Jewish tradition as a messianic prophecy will find that the Targum will find that the Talmud and that of course later rabbinic commentaries would certainly not go in that direction because of the New Testament Christian views and things like that but yet there are many, many verses we would never think of being messianic that in rabbinic literature are interpreted with reference to the Messiah. Absolutely it's it's a fascinating study for sure.

Keep up the good work and let us know how we can help our you bet 86634 of the Skoda Isaac in South Carolina. Welcome to the modifier. Dr. Brown appreciate Akamai call.

Sure thing might actually I just started a class and master divinity in Christian apologetics in one of the production Hebrew class.

I'll be on a little over only dabbled in French in high school that fill with you know Latin letter English letter, and all that. So now that I have a completely different language.

On top of different lettering. I'm having a hard time to scratch him doing all the assignment of doing all that stuff but I'm just don't really know where to start. What may be certain things I can do that can help me get this, basic understanding of Hebrew that I can build on. You had a tip for new people have never ever had any background tell you, you bet I will be studying by the way Isaac with school liberty that don't military funding that one of the few want like excellent okay excellent good good alright so number one drug whole goal here is to pass it in the class. Okay and to know enough Hebrew that you can use a dictionary later on. It's very unlikely that you'll ever learn the language well one night when I do classes at seminary for fruit pastors and things like that.

Maybe it's second year Hebrew class in a regularly work really hard. They been pushing hard ghetto and spends hours and hours in preparation. I told unless you stay with us like every day for many years ahead you to forget this, all of the few yourself.

Basically, though, your whole goal is to just basic action with the alphabet and the structure and how how how Hebrew language works just the most basic levels you can make more sense out of the dictionaries when you go you studies were better value with the commentaries saying we need you studies so the key thing you have to do is through massive repetition get used, to the letters in the basic words, letters, valves, and the best way to do that is with flashcards you can you can draw them for yourself or their flashcards. I'm sure available online different things like that in which you want to do is just all and I did this with plenty of languages use flashcards for many years and if I was picking up again I'd I go back to doing it. I get some software that has like a flashcards function and you just want to go over it and over and over and over until it becomes A second nature to an end. It's it's a little different as a whole different alphabet. You're obviously not six years old. Learning a language you know by being with the family euros were all there. It's it's challenging. So just that massive repetition over and over and over until it feels more familiar and then if you have word cards.

If you learn vocabulary you want to be saying those over and over how it whatever pronunciation guides there giving you because there are different approaches to how to pronounce Hebrew use of modern pronunciation in ancient pronunciation and and you just repeated over and over, over and over, over and over, over and over and just from it. Just a guide not getting it on the inner click you'll get your get as soon just keep doing it again writing the letters out massive repetition over and over and over, and then from there, just try every day to work with it rather than putting in like six hours one day. Better to put in 1520 minutes every day.

Just keep working at it. Looking at it reading it.

Getting used with the same thing over and over until it feels familiar. Then you move on to something else and then just concentrate on the basics. Don't be intimidated by how much there is to learn because the struggle he calls you to it. It's I can be something you'll be able to devote the energy and time to so get the basics down through the after you pass the test and then just don't don't neglect it.

Afterwards you look at it. IRC can remember what you've learned and then use that for further study. Alright, I greatly appreciate you bet, sure thing, 866342 let us go to David and Canada. Welcome to the line of fire. Dr. Brown you welcome my question. Go ahead, you can ask it on the air. Everything started and I like working.

Sure, but what about the law made part of the Lord is usual or are Jesus because I got you into our church was at about 20 years ago and set a Jewish guy evangelistic the Lord's name is really the issue with my Jesus and you read the Bible and just so you just to sound out what your name again on anything know it's actually David. Of course it's done yeah right.

But in English it's David what's my name Michael and I Hebrew, it's me Kyle. So when you're speaking English. It's Jesus.

If you want to refer to him as he rename you sure same person yet. So Yeshua comes into English as Jesus. And just like David comes into English. David comes into English as David and me. Kyle comes into English as Michael so the reason that sometimes the reason that sometimes we refer to Jesus as your shoe in English is because people of so forgotten the Jewish roots of the faith when talking to a Jewish person and I want that Jewish person to know. Hey, he's he's one of us that Yeshua you might think of them as this Jesus guy some foreigner know this is Yeshua our Messiah. So it's perfectly fine if you enjoy speaking to him at your calling out usual one you sent in great but are sharing the gospel just the general public and not specifically the Jewish personal processing. Jesus is along for the hunt talking about the Jewish person here that Jesus is actually seven English Jesus Hebrew. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown welcome welcome five minutes from now slid into that for 15 Eastern standard Time so compute that review are in the world for 15 Eastern standard will start or weekly YouTube chat that is devoted exclusively to answering questions that you post on YouTube. It's a great time for folks to interact with one another in the live chat as well so we can know that that'll be our YouTube channel Esther to run ask a DR Brown. If you get a Jewish lady, call 866342 this week there was a major gathering.

A unique gathering in Jerusalem looking at a headline here from the Washington Post which says that leaders from almost 50 countries convened in Jerusalem to remember the Holocaust and to counter anti-Semitism. This is a major Venice on the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz notorious Auschwitz concentration camp and vice president pants House Speaker Pelosi were there are the event and different leaders got up and spoke and basically said never again will never allow subs like this to happen again not. I hope that that is true in terms of these leaders. I hope that in years to come. Decades to come. Goggles many years ahead of us. Next century, God knows that these nations will stand with Israel that they will not allow the Jewish people to be destroyed the way they were to enter every three Jews in Europe kill shockingly, maybe not shockingly good percentage of Americans when they reported they knew about the Holocaust know how many Jews died since I was once experimented was less than 6 million Has that has that we are talking about an event thousand years ago talking about something. We still have survivors alive today, so most Americans know what the Holocaust was Times of Israel. Other headlines report that they don't know that 6 million Jews were killed. So I just wonder will these leaders stay true, will Israel one day be scapegoated for all the world's problems. Zechariah 12 and Zechariah 14 come to pass his seems to say that all the nations will come against her summer does that all mean a coalition of nations could possibly be in all the surrounding nations is most all the nations of the earth and these things are debated, but that already. You see that there are reasons for concerns you welcome the solidarity appreciate the solidarity report the leaders for same with the same coming to Jerusalem to do this on the other hand, this an article Jewish press that that says this macron so Francis Prime Minister macron slammed for his visit with Mahmoud Abbas. So while he's there for this specific visit and to commemorate the memory of the liberation from Auschwitz the same time he meets with Palestinian Authority leader, but with the boss disabled. Why is that a mockery of the Holocaust. This is according to his his religious leader. Why is it a mockery of the Holocaust because Abbas wrote his doctoral dissertation basically Holocaust denial in question things are the Holocaust and read some excerpts of this article Jewish press by REA severe French president him out presidencies messy Prime Minister Emmanuel microns meeting with Housing Authority had marked with the boss during his visits Israel to commemorate the Holocaust as a mockery of the Holocaust. According to Israeli politician Sarah black soul old.

It's just go down here so Sarah back no wrote in a letter she sent macron that is a granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and the grandfather of a grandfather who served as a Rabbi McComb French army. I feel your visit to the Costa headquarters in Ramallah were our father was the blood of masses of Jesus and is very with Abbas the Holocaust denier as part of the Holocaust Memorial fence is like bringing the killer executioner to the mourners home. Abbas wrote his PhD dissertation on the connection between the Nazis and the leaders of the Zionist movement, 1933, 1945 the research, which is also published as a book you mock the accepted number for Jewishness of the Holocaust and dismissed it as a myth and fantastic lie and claimed Zionist agitation had been the cause of the Holocaust and even if Abbas is revise some of his views since as he revises large abuse towards his religious people during a meeting of the Palestinian national Council, 2018.

Abbas stated the Jews in Europe were massacred for centuries because of course their social role related to user impacts a statement condemned globally as explicit anti-Semitism, wrote a letter on behalf of third-generation Holocaust survivors and on behalf of victims of terrorism shared with that she appreciated the visit and the president's activities against anti-Semitism, but notice the code cannot be that the visit of all such a severe moral distortion which you pay homage to those of raise the banner of killing Jews.

Your visit there desecrates the event.I agree if if you want to visit a boss's not that hard to go from France. Ramallah is not that hard but have Abbas meet you somewhere in another location so that hard to do so to to do it at the same time that you're going Israel to remember the liberation from Auschwitz and to say never again. It's commendable that he was there, but highly questionable that he did what he did so all that to say. I wonder where the deeper solidarity. I wonder if push came to shove, we stand with the people of Israel would stay with the Palestinian Authority so he's just a stand with Justice River. It is what I would hope that's the case, but I don't know that that's the case so it's it's this kind of thing that makes me wonder about how deep the support really is 86634 let us go back to the phones in Greensboro, North Carolina Carl, welcome to the line of fire or are you Dr. Brown doing very well thank you sir I want to read a book called the forgotten Jesus but Robert galaxy arrived to the Jewish Christian. I have looked at it, but I have not read all of it. In fact, let me just check one thing here. You have looked at it, but only only glanced at some of its content to the title yet the forgotten Jesus how Western Christians should follow in eastern Rabbi out when the book came out when was it was that you answer your 2017 when he came out he got my attention and Scott present the lowest of her birth was on my shows got some great books about the words of Jesus, as she has a positive review that I meant to get it and and according to my records, here I don't own it, but yeah go ahead with some specifics.

Please Barbara Carpenter, the great war picked on like that. Yeah. So the question is, is it visit builder. The overwhelming consensus is Carpenter I that's ignited. There is anything probably was a no call but not much water around their product out the stone the builders rejected has become a core installing and mostly stall build rendered everything else about it they will know the part that you know this is interesting.

Pointed out doing payroll or cherry tomato gospel.

Obviously different, but also you talk about you portal. You will not dominate the capital program because why like that defendant that probably was the town crier blower drop yeah diagnosed a rooster water because they're not going to probably be around there. I don't want you all about stuff like that. Yeah I Rabbi many many years ago challenge the rooster theory, but I I see no reason to reject that that it was actually a rooster as opposed to an idiom for a town crier and with all respect to to the good that may be in the book and I miss you doing the right thing reading with interest and maybe could be in all its facets look into it more. What you have to ask yourself is when you have top scholars, many of them know Jewish background really really well right when they studied it similar many years so him to read Hebrew and Aramaic well and they say all still translate with the word Carpenter and then the major dictionaries which which scholars devote without their whole lives to putting these things together and look at all and it is if you come up with a new meaning like all the better. All the better if you could discover something someone else didn't the fact that they all end up saying Carpenter know yet. Could you could be a builder. There's a reason for that was there have to be answer.

So the best thing to do is when you're looking at and what he's writing so calling me that's that's one thing's right within the other thing is okay so get it. You don't look it up. A good scholarly commentary that talks about the rooster or or biblical dictionary that talks about the rooster which was a carpenter and then read their whole discussion and see are they evaluating his arguments is he bringing something that they're missing the danger is that many times we throw out like a mountain of scholarship with serious people studying the Scriptures that don't have an ax to grind in either way right because of an interesting scenario here, so by all means, look at interesting theory and and I will at some point read this book, but yet you gotta you always have to ask if that's the case even like the complete Jewish Bible.

For example, the David Stern New Testament what he render it with Carpenter know why didn't why did he use the word builder because he certainly intimately familiar with the Jewish backgrounds and sources and things that that's that's what we're knowing is that the further questions yeah observed the limit one thing out will not do it, but I will report. Genomic data from Denmark is not an actual bird yes sir he would. He was at your office yet in our office, met with the David Bannerman Justin reader with cities for life and love life. Charlotte beyond yeah he lives in Farallon Islands hosted me there a few years ago with homosexuality debate going on studying in middle school in Denmark and his real Republic bird yeah absolutely right.

There are right your value 0/like that from Denmark here figure out by yeah and and like you said, you know that the march to life last year in Denmark you right in the biggest city about 30 people there were more protesters pro-abortion protesters and pro-life markets and needs to be tremendous pro-life move in Europe and specifically in Scandinavia right thank you for the questions and for helping out our brother there 866-34-TRUTH right back with her that he would study and it's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 86643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown join us now our YouTube chat so that's over and asked her to bring him looking at bunches of questions that have been posted on her Facebook fee during the show and were unable to interact with them for the most part during the show and then questions being posted on YouTube so here's your opportunity to grab your question and go ahead and post it all. But before that I'm looking at Craig Keener's Bible background commentary for the New Testament Creek. Even those Jewish background sources, as well as any New Testament scholar that I know today and tomorrow 63. He knows Jesus is called a carpenter, really Jesus's childhood, Sephora's then capital of Galilee had been destroyed by the Romans in rebuilding had begun immediately. Thus, carpenters were no doubt in demand Nazareth village 4 miles from the ruins of Severus and Joseph Jesus, his father probably taught his son, his own trade as was common for fathers to do in those days after Safar's have been rebuilt, they probably did most carpentry work from their home is most telling carpenters did the observation that Jesus is a carpenter is meant to identify him not to suggest the unlikelihood of a carpenter being a teacher for Wilson of other carpenters became famous teachers. For example, who would've been an older contemporary of Jesus, so the point is that there are plenty carpenters around then and there's a reason the translators assume he was a carpenter versus a stonework all either way it's not essential to our faith.

All right, of the word total raw word Torah. What exactly does it mean so. Total raw.

If you look again in the Brown driver brakes dictionary there many since then, but this is a standard lexicon. It gives three meanings direction, instruction, law does not put law first, which is correct it is direction, instruction law, so when we think of Cheraw. Many times we immediately think of law. When we do so we miss some of the meaning of the word. You can think of it as authoritative instruction, divine teaching, so it is law in terms of if this is the total raw concerning certain sacrifices were. This is the Cheraw concerning this ritual or the so this is the law for this or for that and when you have the Cheraw the prophets in the writings of the Cheraw in the Psalms can think of it is law but hate Cheraw is also the five books of Moses and Cheraw. The five books of Moses is more than law. The book of Genesis is not law much of the book of Exodus is not law. Many of the recounting's of the journeys in Numbers and Deuteronomy are not law so there many laws there in the Sinai covenant comes with laws, but Cheraw means more than law that, when translated into Greek.

It was translated by Jewish translators of the Septuagint is no mouse which has more of the meaning of law inherent in it. And then, as that becomes the primary were used in the New Testament. Namaste, it is very easy to make that the primary meaning. Law, as opposed to the sin that is part of the larger meaning so again if I was doing. The word study. Let's say I'm reading in José the book of Isaiah right so I'm in the book of Isaiah and I go to the second chapter and ICO K in verse three it says that total raw will go out from Zion.

Now it's interesting is King James new King James of Zion shall go forth the law, CSB though recognizing there's more to it than just law for instruction about of Zion. In other words, in the millennial kingdom as the nations come screaming to Jerusalem to learn from the God of Israel. It is not just law but divine instruction gets lying being what causes is binding but but when were told you to remember in Proverbs. Remember the total raw of your mother right where the Cheraw of your mother is not the loss instruction, it's the teaching ESV says law. NIV says law.

NET says for his science will be the center for moral instruction get a little different nuance there NLT the Lord's teaching will go out from Zion and the complete Jewish Bible for out of seal will go forth Cheraw and then the new Jewish publication Society for instruction shall come forth was on the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

So so the point is, is not just specifically, the law is more than that.

So Jewish tradition says that total raw comes to the ER raw which is to cast or to throw any fines or reference in Exodus 15, where Moses cast that rule. You're right, he cast a tree into the bitter waters at Morrow in the bitter waters become sweet and drinkable right that sweet but they become drinkable. More particularly, is his emphasis there.

In any case, the ideas that that the Cheraw makes the bitter waters sweet while it's interesting that Christian interpreters read that in the past and they saw Cheraw basics easement rather not Cheraw but they saw a stick piece of wood piece with tree thrown into the waters. They said that's the cross that speaks of the cross and makes the bitter waters sweet so I was is that a lustration in Exodus 15 site look a Jewish interpreters look at the passage looking a Christian interpreters with the passage that you can read their own theology, and it wasn't as nothing to do with the cross or with the rod just as the weather is would be thrown into the waters. There anyway this writer share that with you.

The question I have here. Arianna component recently trailer back, are you sure and like one of the many claims of the contradictions of the Harshaw understand what I have seen in between Matthew and Luke with you she was fleshly year birthday coming out of the records, but how do we reconcile that yes, somewhere where is the alleged contradictions assess not one that's only raise people raise about genealogy, or they'll try to resolve the sanitizing side at all.

I know I did Genealogy and I apologize not having it right on hand just I remember them putting something up for the morning certain time in Matthew and in the one with Luke and there's a difference there mass message is not yet that that is not, let me just ask one question really quickly and if you can find the specific details. By all means, just send it to our tour website Esther to Brown existed contact button you can click on and we have team all test facility systems, working with us, that will gladly answer specifics it and and bring me and if if I'm needed on any of that.

But Luke the issue with Lucas. He talks about a census that took place at a certain time and we don't have a record of that specific census outside of Luke, the answer that might be that because Luke is seen to be trustworthy in account after account after account and details he gives about places and just casual background or other people he puts in certain places that are at the right place at the right time that he's proven himself to be reliable.

He's writing to people that lived at that time and and in those decades. So it's all he just make something up your II couldn't very well tell people today about Pres. Reagan who fought in the Civil War. You know I met some people there that far off.

They governing the old Reagan yeah writings all got ill or you know that I couldn't I could talk about when Michael Jackson was assassinated before World War I. I mean people, people of been around for Luke to create something out of nothing when he saw reliable L3 DiSalvo, Luke musculus details that we didn't have going to have records of other other similar other similar records. But the point is, when you get to Matthew. He doesn't give you is a specific time frame known him saying he doesn't he doesn't tell you anything that would contradict this except that that Herod is still the king at that point so you know that Jesus will been born a few years before the the wrong date that we have for like the zero day of the zero year from one BC to than going on the short, the substance is all still there, despite all our different languages and over the centuries of the manuscript.

Is that what you're saying yes no no not just that there's no there's no dispute about the words the manuscripts that something I don't.

Matthew does not give you a specific enough date, except to tell you that Jesus is born will Herod still alive so that means he had to be born. It at least like three or 4B, C because of one Herod actually died.

So whoever came up with a chronology got the stuff in the Bible assist their own account. They got that wrong a little bit. So Jesus is actually born a few years BC before Christ because someone many, many centuries later that the chronology wrong in terms of the date of the birth there is.

There is no discrepancy between Matthew and Luke, so please look into that. By all means send in your question and you'll get a detailed specific answer from one of her team members and friends, but in get your calls. Of course the many comments on Facebook and YouTube destroyed us 15 minutes from now. I 15 minutes from now over and asked her to Brown on YouTube will take your questions there.
