I have something very special planned for all of the week before we tell you about that for the second summer in a row the Los Angeles Lakers believe their contender, usually in the MBA you get the star.

All through out the next 10 years. It seems like probably more versus a three year run with Lebron James somebody's 34 going to turn 35 to December and has just three years left on his deal. I'm going to take the pelicans next 10 because the first thing I thought of them to be honest with you guys. The combo of Alonso in Zion Williamson. How exciting is that going to be on the call it lob city 2.0 yet, but when you're talking about point guards coming into a draft. Manzo possessed a rare skill set. You see for young players when it comes to passing Ben Simmons had a little bit of that Alonso certainly had it a unique passing gene that would Zion seems like it's going to be a great fit. The other thing Alonso's very good at is defense.

So you have Alonso and you have true holiday was already one of the best defensive guards in the NBA. A good combo guard with Zion. It seems like that is a match made in heaven. When you just look at Zion and Alonso ball together. How exciting do you think that piece of it is here all depends on how available Alonso's possibilities availability and he's missed 60+ games in two years of the early Laker so I mean he's healthy then yeah I mean that that something really great look for. I'm a photo I'm pro Alonso ball. I'm actually more concerned about the injuries of Brandon Ingram. I think he's the biggest wildcard of the bunch. Because when you start talking about blood clots and stuff my brain immediately goes to Chris bosh and things quickly fell apart. There also when you have true holiday and Alonso ball, who were ball handlers in place. Brandon Ingram, somebody who's going to want to demand the basketball quite a bit and when Zion Williamson is playing some small ball likely is a smaller center. I'm interested to see how that works but I think there are a lot of exciting possibilities in place when it comes to the Lakers. I just don't think there finished yet. Most teams aren't finished yet. At this point we haven't even hit the draft.

We haven't gotten the free agency. We don't know if the trade cycle is complete either.

I don't trust Rob link on the Lakers to get this right. They've been one of the worst ran franchises in the NBA. Maybe all sports the last 10 years.

Lebron James, Kyle Kuzma, then you have some younger players that you drafted a second rounder from a year ago Mo Wagner, that's all that's in place because you signed all those one your deals last year, so there likely to have around $23 million to play with everybody's just assuming Anthony Davis is going to waive a $4 million trade kicker that could happen. Teams have players have given away money to be more competitive.

I expect you're going to chase stars again and try to fill the rest of that With either a Kylie Irving or DeAngelo Russell or Tobias Harris or Jimmy Butler but I feel like A.D. and Lebron that's enough star power to get you started. You need ancillary pieces. You need more shooters and I think it needs to be more than one body, because I doubt it's good to become a walker, even though that was reported by Mark Stein of the New York Times this past weekend I won it, deal with the headaches of DeAngelo Russell coming back to Los Angeles Cairo the Irving the same way Jimmy Butler that way and I think if you give Tobias Harris what's left of your You're going to be overspending to do that. Then the league changed believing certain teams change the got good at what they were doing and other teams are trying to duplicate what that one team did well what their understanding is you can't duplicate what you have stuff occurring on what you can try to shoot 43's game.
