I drive have already withhold my.Miami anybody else 34 years old, $38.5 million. This security sector makes up 41 three and 36 years old at 36 going to turn 37,021 2022 is set the make $44.2 million. Good luck moving that contract.

You need a team that is willing to bring you one that is as shortsighted as Miami is in order to complete the straight Miami. They have bad contracts they could exchange that'll be off the books sooner than Chris Paul's which Oklahoma City would want James Johnson, who is up after this year, Dion waiters up after this year. Those are pretty expensive bad contracts that you can then send back that way and and land CP three if your Miami. It makes sense because you already have Jimmy Butler if you bring Dan Chris Paul then you likely don't have to give away any of your young assets, which means without the luxury of having graphics in order to bring in Jimmy Butler. They had to send some away for Relief per purposes. Miami will have a chance potentially to land 1/3 player alongside CP three, and Russell Westbrook that would be the intention of your Miami and Pat Riley this is Pat Riley's last crack at it. I'm getting older. I don't want to go out on a down note, here's Jimmy Butler. Here's Chris Paul and with some combination of a package consisting of Ramada bio Justice Winslow and Tyler hero, the rookie was crushing summer league right now from Kentucky.

You can potentially get somebody else alongside those two moving forward that would be the hope and that would be good enough to be competitive in the Eastern conference at the very top. You have Philadelphia and you have Milwaukee, but after that. Hope Indiana.

They lose Bogdanovich and Brandon Malcolm Brogdon. I think they bring in TJ Warren so I guess they might be the de facto third-best team while Brooklyn tries to get their footing this year and then adds Kevin Durrant from his Achilles injury to your after that is good retiree Irving and Spencer Dinwiddie against the world for the Nets this first season, the Boston Celtics, I don't know if it's an upgrade adding Kimball Walker in the place of Kylie Irving, while also losing our corporate though it will be a wide-open Eastern conference and wide-open than the last two but the West is just a lot more powerful than the east is if your Miami is one part of that you want a part of that suit that might be the only way Chris Paul's contract it's been if it's not Miami I think is going to stay in Oklahoma City which means I think that's the end of Chris Paul and his relevant basketball career.

He'll stick around. They like him in Oklahoma City. Remember his career started with the New Orleans pelicans are to be the New Orleans Hornets and after Hurricane Katrina. He played a season in Oklahoma City so they like him there and he might play the rest of his career there. Unless he gets bought out at some point if that is the case in this is it. Chris Paul no longer going to be on a title contender and he's just to keep declining with the team that's not relevant what is Chris Paul's legacy. What are we going to think of when we think of Chris Paul. While that that's going to be a part of it, or is that Cliff Paul now it's click pulse, but not Chris Paul's. Gotta better is Cliff Paul from still, I would imagine so that grace Chris we know is from Clements but is Cliff from Clements. I don't I don't know for sure to remember him at wake for punching Julius Hodge of the nether regions were to remember. Thank you for that to remember CP three for being a top 10 point are probably not a top five. Do you classify step is a point guard.

Yes okay so there are six guys I would not put Chris Paul in front of in front of magic Oscar Isaiah staff Stockton and Steve Nash back to back MVP winner. I put Chris Paul right in the same category as Jason Kidd, that's where I put CP three. Not a top five point guard ever stopped and one of the best of this generation never wanted title no MVP, but was a part of lob city. One of the more exciting teams that ever wanted title is good to be remembered for getting hurt.

With Houston up three games to two on Golden State at the most inopportune time. Who knows, maybe as a title champ. If that's the case that Golden State team went on to sweep Lebron in the Cavaliers. I was the closest that Chris Paul got if he does go to Miami. He's not to be a competitor anymore is the sad thing about all of this. Chris Paul, maybe help build the scenario as president of the players union closest that your thinking and all the guys there were around that draft class or that year 2003, four, five borough towards telling of the cruise right now only God really only two prominent guys you can really think of from 030405 bank right now Lebron James and Chris Paul and Chris Paul's the president of the players union and Lebron if not mistaken is the VP and they're the ones that helped create this whole super max thing if that didn't exist. Chris Paul probably would've been a shorter deal and probably would've been able to get treated in a crowded bar him out because he went wherever he wanted. He could be a Laker tomorrow if you want to put because of his own doing is almost stranded in Oklahoma City.

Rich I mean hundred and 30 million about you a lot in Oklahoma City are imagine Mike Corsi from the sporting news Hall of Fame basketball writer will join us to talk about the NC state notice of allegations and just a little bit. I am interested in what Chris Paul's legacy's going to be your thoughts are welcome on twitter at sports of dry at 336-777-1600 gold or it's often going Hornets. Of course not, what would that do order chaos and I want to be chaos. It would just be dumb enough to be a playoff team with that and bringing in a guy with that awful of a contract without making the postseason makes you look even dumber than you already do letting Kimball Walker walk away for nothing.

The lion King is something a lot of people are excited about.

I'm not one of those people because it's not real live-action these are acting liens that are not acting Tigers at CGI. But wait, wait, wait, hold awake old site you are, you would've been more excited about the survey had like real line. Don't call live-action if it's not live-action. None of its live-action Tigers should come from the lion King. Oh, I tested another thing that bothers me is that Tigers or liens or whatever animal you're talking about. Can't a moat so you need these people to be these animals to be expressive, while their singing songs in that clip that Donald Glover and Jimmy Kimmel showed earlier this week with the government had a warthog and a lion running through the forest and they were showing any emotion to just look like a warthog and align with her mouth flopping around. And while the music was good. I think this is a major flaw in lion King, which led to Haskell tweeting on twitter.

I don't know where else you with.

The base remake did 1.6 billion singing candles and dishes. Those candles and that movie looked more like the animation more than an actual candle scar. For instance, Erin, how would you describe what scar the villain in the lion King looks like in this remake because in real life Tigers lion like exam Tigers up. Sorry, got me rattled that there are liens with red flooring black mane in the animation version.

Of course you have that makes him look evil.

You'll have that in the live-action remit because there's not a Redford Brian with a black you're right because this looks dusty and mangy. You look at his regal was like world lies the key is losing territory, but I really think this is an oversight by Disney. I do and it might cost them just might. Joe Wilde did some work for us last night. Do we have some of his play-by-play calls before we get the Mike Corsi he finagle's movie lines that the audience and then sends him for the broadcast that we carry once a week – game he think he finagle's movie line into his play-by-play, giving the first of two that we have from Joe last night was the start collegially with the LSU Tigers here something about time Tigers love They hate cinnamon. That's what I am thinking of Tiger probably were.

I don't think that's a certifiable fact that Tigers love pepper and hate cinnamon even though Alan from the hangover says so. Next movie clip to make sure that that glove is in the right spot if it's not for any of Plato's flame throwing fastballs go shoot your eye out kid to craftsman with words. Joe, while Lucy's Pro is it wise for the NCAA to target head coaches rather than the schools when it comes to this NCAA probe and what's coming ahead will discuss with Hall of Fame sportswriter Mike Corsi asked why I am now 600 925 now jam is on the sporting news Mike Corsi somebody we can talk to if all football, soccer, movies, and pretty much anything else that's why we love having him on the program. Mike going great.how are you doing great. But before we get to the basketball. I want your movie expertise on something because I seem to be the only person who's skeptical about this, lion King, live action remake. That really isn't about live-action at all because it's all CGI because there are talking liens out there and on top of that, I'm not sure if you seen the footage that features singing of the animals, but will still moat and I think that could be massive issue when it comes to enjoying this movie. What say you, I thought jungle. Now the jungle book.

What would not add jungle book musical. It was made that it would prevent the Rudyard Kipling story in the same fashion with John Favreau directing and it was magnificent. It was one of the best movies of 20 get what 20 year came out years back Amanda Lauren, the actor who would now 90210 and and and you got into the radio work with Duke a while back and now lives in Lexi good friend of mine and he recommended me to go see it and write back to go on and the early from critics on the very fermented I have to say that although I enjoyed the light. I've never looked at it at no musical masterpiece.

I don't think the music to that great. I know else wrote it and all that I find what it never been my favorite of his work so I would say that based on what the critics said, based on what what Favreau did with the with jungle book.

I'm going to have to stated probably worth a shot. Where does lion King fall Mike Corsi's favorite Disney movies list all pretty far down there. I mean, it wouldn't make the top. I really I like it but I'm sure I'm pretty sure that I could find the movies I like better.

I don't think that would be that hard, but I mean I'm pretty sure I could.

That's stunning people in the control room right now just shaking their heads done. What's at the very top of Mike Corsi's list of the movie guy you know I think I hadn't thought about that very much. If you get credit for the proppant remake came out last year Disney film right yes that was magnificent. I mean, I certainly put that in a cop and that the first want to come to my why most recently it was tremendous. I loved it and it certainly put it much higher than I would like to follow Mike Corsi on Twitter at enough for this lion King remake that's gonna come out next week. The live-action remake if the coaches moving things over to NC State and what's going on with this notice of allegations they received earlier in the week. If the coaches are in fact the NCAA's target more than the institutions what that sin. The strongest message possible to try and serve as a deterrent for rest for more coaches acting improperly. Moving forward, like what I mean what what you go to the coaches. In that respect I have never used code control or punish particular coaches in the past, but what the penalty that serves as a significant deterrent guide don't know whether they have that in their you know in your arsenal.

I don't know the second thing I would add is that I know that there are people out there that are just sharpening their knives particular school but if you look at the case for me to really look at the case, particularly the one where coaches were arrested and indicted and pled guilty and therefore have conviction. The interesting thing about that is against the goals and/or the remaining coaches out of those out of those particular proceeding relative to those for coaches that put goals are the remaining coaches in all that much jeopardy. I can see a whole lot of cooperation from the federal government but from what I've been hearing isn't forthcoming.

I guess I don't I know that people are going to be like you. What bothers me, is that when when they initially said okay. When the Justice Department initially said no.

We have these can read we have here is the charging document we have your playbook and their immediate reaction was blue Hedrick a role on the big name in all the and my reaction.

Josh and I don't remember we talked or not I talked to a lot of people and I said here's the thing if they thought they could've gotten head coaches widely shutdown thing why they shut it down because it was up it was active and nobody knew about not anybody you when it when that Windows 10 arrest went down. I mean the whole college basketball world was completely shaken and no one saw it coming with something more for them to get if they could have gotten head coaches ensnared in this why didn't want. Why would they have shut it down and I believe the reason for that is that it wasn't. It was in operation, it was going to lead them and they recognize that and got out when they could get, you know, and it looked make people think the data poor job like a fountain fountain on their out with the exception of the one gentleman who who they let who they withdrew charges against because he never gave anybody getting money and then some of them that that became cooperating with basically the thousand on their conviction of the people they went after and so what they promise they were going to do that.

People extrapolated from that that bigger names were going to be involved in this then was reasonable to expect while he was at the media that extrapolated this. It was Stan Wilcox, the NCAA vice president of regulatory affairs last month, saying that they were going to get to move forward level I cases against head coaches and saying that there were going to be big names involved in this.

Do you think it might be a situation where the NCAA is overpromising at the risk of under delivery like that. I don't think that that was good for the NCAA, but it also. I also don't think it went good for member coaches shouting back that going to happen now and it's like baking after you brought bagel and and and cream cheese or whatever like them to not give you your day in court, so to speak, and I realized that that what being talked about it little higher on the food chain in the bagel and cream cheese but my point is that there were coaches who were actively lobbying for sanctions against coaches again with Betty and so I think the empty AA Stan Wilcox thought that by wearing what did that he would calm those waters, but instead got attorneys who represent particular coaches, rather bothered, and your thinking their way to second don't we at least get like this with anything you chart your client with anything and already you're saying that you you're going to get up. I mean, I would not necessarily in my opinion, the best approach Mike Corsi of the sporting news with us here on Twitter rent yes and Mike is your reaction to a couple of the details with the NC state in no way starting with the fact that NC State was the first one to receive.

You know, why do you make anything of that. I think that you like the school that people have been aiming for for a long time the contract like that against them. If there are any more complicated. The amount what was alleged to have happened and end date that was the fight to in a court of law that would redeploy and think of it was one guy in with the way the case was prosecuted and ended no one ever went after that with different fit into a that information. Usually if you have a charge may, in a court of law. The defendant who get it bye-bye the prosecutor in his wit, or hurt his or her when the defense will go and say okay you are you sure you basically are you sure that I don't think your figure shoring, and here's why. I don't think your short but good approach was the stuff didn't happen were saying that illegal nobody went to impeach the witness so even changes the nature of the baloney we heard it was it was it was so does the attorney or at the attorneys for an empty state and/or Mark Gottfried and/or the assistant coach do they get to have a shot at a triangle. What I think that can be problematic because I back that that would all want to cooperate.

Not nothing again and so it is that point it becomes a little bit unfair to take it at face value when no one got and we don't even have the hard evidence we have to guess Nola saying that some things happened here but we need the proof we need the proof that that money exchanged hands and the people who guess Nola said was involved were in fact involved.

But when it when you look at it right now Mike you see that the level I infractions that were levied to NC state the notice the allegations to NC State.

They are directed at Gottfried and this top assistant Orlando early. The level II charges which I don't feature a failure to monitor charge, which is another thing for the NC state institution that seems to be all that NC state is facing as a basketball program presently.

Do you think the level I charges going towards an directed at Gottfried in early set a precedent for what we might see for future notices of allegation. I think that wanted it back your friend today is that both coaches are in a place any longer and so I think there was a feeling that empty state made a fresh start. No one that there presumably any involvement in this. And so, okay, like maybe somebody get vacated, make show that your air because they went flying 14 and laid they might've lucked out and all of this if they get no punishment because they cheated and they were bad exceeding the ironies of the is that they they got player and then didn't win with them and the coach lost his job, although he was allowed to continue in it until the end of that year.

He was kind of amazing that that would be the case. Usually that is one of the reasons why the idea that you have to have the one that got you better know what you want to do with them and you better know whether he fits in your program certainly didn't work out for them, although they may be one of the few that got punished or or is on the verge of getting punished for that. About the first and only to ever struggle with a player like that on on the roster which coach is on the thinnest ice among the schools that are alleged to be involved in this had coaches. I don't think that there are many that are in that kind of trouble. I really don't. Not Miller.

Not will wait trying to tell you it (people that there against John Miller that suggests he has a problem. While it would be if the wiretap is so we don't know that that doesn't exist yet duly wiretap with Dragon about telling you right now that my firm belief based on what I've been able to gather and talking to various people and knowing what I know about the logistics of that relative to the timing of the required Really good relative to the be incongruent nature of of the why your why would that particular handler be involved with a player that he barely knew all that added up to me that that paper does not exist and so that my my healing or intuition or whatever you want to call it. And so that's why I think the people have extrapolated things into issues that may be left left dangerous for the coaches that aren't that are for lack of a better term involved in many certainly are wet weather they get anything or not there involved both coaches may be in better circumstances that people think everybody think the think the Panthers was built in trouble. Okay well take TJ guess Nola before will peak a guess.

Nola testified that he gave a lot of money at camber the number but you short of six figures, but I believe not far from it to the family of a port of a player who, although we enrolled it can never play your focus fight. He gave a small amount of money and promise much more to another. Two of the guardian of a player who loaded Panthers play half a season and presumed legal play next week. It's incredible on again that all testimony that he made that was not challenged in court because the defense wasn't challenging those very and then when he was asked frequently if they can't. Coaches know about the activity that exact word he said never that they did not know though if you're going to say yes we believe that Billy Graham mom got much money and that the associate Guardian got up smaller modifying.

You have to believe that Bill didn't know about at work and you can say yes we believe that no we don't believe that. So how do you go after Bill felt then and they you know you've got your OU got be punished severely.

You got to lose your job because you think that whatever whatever punishment you might know you asked me about if you want the night. That's what I'm saying I don't because I been all I don't know what happened to Kansas because in the end you missed the whole year and then allowed to return by the MPAA and never play for them and so I'm not sure what whether or not there are some of your faces in their future. Even over and above whatever they do or don't do it go so Mike hope you enjoyed the Nike peach jam to enjoy line can always appreciate the insight think you bet… Had a fun thing like with Mike Corsi on Twitter at TSN Mike is 609.

20. Now back to the drive with Josh Graham only eight hours. It in Raleigh with we knew it was inevitable that they would ask your sales at Carter Finley Stadium Angelina parentheses state basketball games that got done first came to fittingly be against East Carolina new kickoffs on the part of VCU and out of the stadium also improving your sales at their sporting events to then you have the NCAA raining on the parade raining on the party, there as they send the notice of allegations NC states way that they make public Wednesday afternoon. A couple level I infractions, which is the most severe charge targeted right at Mark Gottfried and former assistant Orlando early couple level II charges against NC State as well. Jeff gravelly is the award-winning sports director from W RAL television kind enough to spend some time with us in the triad.

Jeff it has been an interesting couple of days as an no doubt it was interesting that those two items were discussed at the Board of Trustees meeting. So they decided to send out the bear memo first and then right before the clock. They set out the old by the word, but dropped the notice of allegation lost to so have a beer and read the notice of allegation NC State.

I did not I did not. I just read the note. VCU week one kickoff Jeff what you suspect that crowds can look like a hydrate for a hot jerk off right 5 o'clock somewhere towards growth. That's one way to put it.

There were over 2000 known to know it all, early at 5 o'clock.

I think I saw the video were Debbie was telling you that this story this case has damaged NC states reputation nationally considering the pack's history with the NCAA dating back to Jimmy V in the 80s. How do you think this affects the perception of pack basketball. Well, I don't think with the surroundings that were with all that was surrounded by Mark.R people radars were up not merely players but what other things as well that he arrived with and as we see now delete alleged that that was true not think it's almost where people send wall NC State was the first one for the NCAA to come out there and a hammer on this worst of all, don't read into if there are six schools in the NCAA is coming up.

I think coming to state. First I'll look at it as always the most beer so it may be the most simple if you look at Arizona.

If you look Kansas. If you look it up. So I think that's one of the thing now is come back to them now you have the two level one hour and one NC State is doing the University of people in their drama district to sell. So what happened coaches are here players in here you do, you hear is remaining. That's what their argument will be when they sponsor the notice of allegation. Your against the committee on do you think it's a coincidence.

NC State hired the same law firm that North Carolina density FM scandal when you need a good larger horror good larger right you look at your track record.

I think North Carolina has spent its money well in hiring attorneys as far as NCAA investigation starts academic situation you think you're in dire need of track record of going to your real sports director Jeff gravelly with us here on the sports I follow him on Twitter at J gravelly W RAL you noted the little bit about the strategy NC states had here and distancing distancing themselves from Mark Gottfried in Orlando early that NC State really have any other play hear what you make of that strategy well enough. The think what that is is okay will I punish the worst is going to be NC State, or will be part Gottfried in Orlando early know a lot of talk the federal investigation yesterday may be looking more toward individual school because if you remember the federal investigation was against individual committed against school, so I think it's going to begin to see which one of those work on that site will get some time.

There's no doubt about it because this happened at your institution under your watch, whether those people are still there or not.

So the worst thing you could try to do is try to predict what the NCAA is going to do particular rules. Now this is this applause. How do I get this information because the rule was passed that they would be allowed obtain information that was that was obtained by outside and like the FBI investigation with the old okay well yeah I'll conduct more interviews and conversations with a few state based upon what they got from the FBI so just take it go okay with the rubbish that they did their own due diligence. After own question and reduce these notice these allegation which were the notice about so I think it's going to be interested in order to see how much will be punished hear people's all hammered out what's getting hammered by the opening windows, vacating plans so they got to give up 15 lands that they have that season, and I'm sure you're throwing that 51 point lost to Chapel Hill to vacate that but I don't know the cookies. Sometimes there could be put on probation, but I don't know that we will see a postseason bear on the group that's there now that had absolutely nothing to do with what happened with Dennis Smith. Point your 2016 subject NC State view is when you think Jeff I think if they can get away with no postseason.

I think that's a think that that would be one thing up culture you want to avoid scholarship reduction.

You want to avoid postseason bands things that really impact your program while it fits upon okay if you're on probation. Keep your nose clean and stay out, but I think that you think that they would look hopefully try to avoid bad and reduction fellowship or recruiting you noted that the NCAA has more ammunition than it had before with the Condoleezza Rice commission they can obtain information from outside entities include including court testimony, which means with the legwork of the FBI. They have they have more in the FBI has resources including subpoenas that they could get information from self.

It seems like if they are going over going after the head coaches more than the schools.

It seems like they have more ammunition to do so here.

But if you're looking at it from the perspective of the NCAA, and you're trying to lay down some type of a punishment that will serve as a deterrent for this to no longer happen moving forward.

You think would send the stronger message what you think would send a stronger message going after the coaches and the individuals or the school while think this is another part of the new rules that they are operating under the holding coaches more accountable for what happened program and that was also notified noted notice of allegation or goblet failed to monitor all program and I think two, three, four years ago that were never even so, there you have so you more onus on the coaches that it's your responsibility to monitor the `got early warning that matches and I think will see the same thing it can't do something we could see the same thing in Arizona and we certainly stated FBI investigation with assistant coaches have and take one so make pleased to lessen what's going on is the other thing to have to ask where is the smoking gun. In this investigation are we going to curse upon what was said in court by TJ Gosnell who basically made a plea to avoid being sent to prison.

All are there canceled check our their bank account statement or where is the physical evidence just hearsay. That will also be part of an argument. If there are those physical pieces of evidence that I think you'll see a different area. But here's the other thing these people to do these things younger people and up like Jack. They're not going to the bank and filling out this is cold hard cash transaction. This is under the table. Don't leave a paper trail at all don't like traceable. That's what Mike difficult about it is interesting that they were able, but they took the 40,000 which got stolen the fog in New York within the rest of it.

6700 was based upon a compliment or tickets part gases and other benefits.

That's how they got $46,700 will see others proceeded to state has 90 days to respond to respond to the notice of allegation test do so in a written format.

Jeff gravelly's on Twitter at J gravelly W RAL sports director from WR Yellen Raleigh, Jeff, it's good to hear your voice.

I'll be seeing you next week. It's crazy to think the ACC here today so I will be broadcast live from well your brother doing it. You got it Dr. that's Jeff gravelly and a good question to ask on the backside of this it seems like that these charges are based solely on what was heard on wiretaps what TJ Gosnell testified directly correlates to those who received the stiffest punishment now while we have a lot of information from court testimony. What Jeff says is true, we don't have access to the hard evidence we don't have access to some of the checksum of the payment.

Some of the paper trail.

If there is one and you know you know with the chess match this law firm that represented North Carolina what they were able to win five years ago. It was a chess match of allegations being sent back and forth and written responses. The NCAA and this law firm North Carolina hired trying to figure out what the NCAA can pin them down for an will see not just what the NCAA charges. Some of these coaches with in programs with but what hard evidence is there to support it because we don't have all of that information right now coming up. Bryson Allen is at it again.

This is the sports of your on the drive. I am 920.

Now I know a portion of a significant portion of my test. Bryson Allen was ejected from a summer league game last night, but this chair every single day and asked to talk about mundane things at times and make it interesting and I fell as Roger Caddell talking about a TV contract for five years and make some content. I miss him I miss Bryson Allen, how juicy it was, what you have against Grace and you never were tripped up by him what you talking about Kobe sure his heard stories, perhaps so, but he never tripped any Tar Heels. It is funny four years of him playing at Duke PE tripped up Boyden and Brooke Trippe bumped Garrison Brooks and about. I don't basically turn. I don't give him the check he felt all I do remember that the grace now in the hands of Mayor Woodmere was actually right and that what's up.

Second, Garrison, Brooks was right and that those were the times I agree with Grace and Albert Garrison Brooks heat he's in the wrong place, now here he was all right with the contact and knew he would be the one seen favorably because of the one he was at odds with the excuse grace and I love using Bryson Allen for that one. I'm not especially good last night and the other one other sick, come here to defend Bryson Allen fully here because I don't care that's passed by God but I can tell you're somebody who still has a hate for Grace and Alan. It's weird.

It's like a hateful respect it's it's it's like it's it's a whole bola hatred, with a sprinkling of respect.

Duke fans where is the respect come from because he actually was there for four years and that's one of the things that's what elements of the rivalry were it's missing now where these kids are gone so fast you can't develop a hatred form exit got enough of it to stay for your so we can grow to hate him as much as we do today is left is less a dying breed, perhaps so was next to guys and beautiful four years Jack White is Australia.

We can hate him through. It's hard to hate you hate somebody with an Australian accent 336-777-1600 on Twitter at sports are dry.

You might place basketball the sand night night about a trip you up. See yours is better than my Buddha shrimp on the Barbie and will open up one of these down beers and I'm trying off and so keep on going, but let's see how far we can go before this completely melts down.

I might be the only black Australian in the world because everyone anyway I'm doing check quite black arms are quite is there a black Australian is does on to something or something like as a reason these back like in the word.

The comfortable aborigines are black, but they're not Australian Australia signal is New Zealand with Australians because nothing will fire anybody up more than New Zealanders being mistaken their accent versus the Australian accent which does sound very similar good college buddy who took a trip to Australia, black, and he was like man. They treated him like royalty because it never seen a blackout for why everyplace he went like the girls in like a geyser club asking weird questions and stuff about being black and like girls was fascinated by him skin color return will circle back to Grayson Allen in the second but what you just mentioned. That reminds me a lot of disease and sorry standup special from this week on Netflix.

They just dropped it randomly because again he was somebody who got caught up in the me to scandal and he was talking about having to Dana's girlfriend and how people overseas.

They don't know to be racist because they've never seen a lot of these races before, but that special was fascinating. His new special was a rebuke on cancel culture because season sorry was almost canceled just because he was thrown into that group wrongfully.

I believe wrongfully, he was put into the same group as some of the big kingpins of the me to movement Harvey Weinstein, among others, Kevin Spacey when when you look at the facts and seasons are was not it. He might have made someone uncomfortable. It didn't seem like he did it willfully and maliciously so it's a lot different and it seems like he still did have a career after this, because it was again a very entertaining special that I enjoy a lot and I don't know how productive cancel. Culture is our number.

Josh Brown when he was dealing with domestic abuse charges by his ex-wife with the giant everybody just said you need to fire the sky you need to kick Josh Brown off of the team and we don't want to see him again and quite often. That's what we do in sports and entertainment. We have a very poor tolerance when it comes to forgiving people of celebrity and of higher status I don't put Joe Mixon afflicted with sports. I don't put Joe Mixon in the same category. Even Ray Rice in the same category output flame Floyd Mayweather and Greg Hardy why Ray Rice offered the player your for free with all the proceeds that would be paid to him going to women's domestic abuse charities and he went on to marry his then fiancée, and he's been an activist ever since.

Having not played again that killed his career and he still is an activist for that clause. Joe Mixon he he was at Oklahoma where he punched the woman in the face and he got suspended air quotes for a season. As a result of it even though we didn't know why he was sitting out that year. Many people just thought it was a redshirt season, but it turns out it was punishment for that internally by Oklahoma and then the video services and everyone says it should be kicked off the team he comes out and he apologizes for it without taking any notes he walked out without any prepared comments answered every single question people had and he said listen I was 18 years old wondering why didn't publicly cannot apologize then now and doing it. I was 18 years old be in trouble by football coach and lawyers not to say anything. What would you do, what would you do II set up an entire season.

I'm sorry I was wrong, which is a lot different than Floyd Mayweather saying hey even though my kids say I be my wife Pat. Note no photos, no video never happened. No video didn't happen. Nope, just because there is no video even though I'm at the jail for being a serial woman batterer, even though that happened, he would still defend himself by saying didn't have video so you can't say I did this big news Greg Hardy never said that he did what he was accused up, which led to him being cut by the Panthers so I don't put those people in the same category and I'm happy. I believe in second chances, so Joe Mixon I believe should be able to play football and be a voice for somebody who made mistakes as a way to reach people who were also dealing with issues that are uncomfortable to talk about what we do nowadays if we don't like something, whether it's me two or domestic abuse very uncomfortable stuff.

We just cut him, fire him didn't here. I don't hear from them ever again.

I don't know if that solves issues that solves problems. Who benefits from a season sorry his career being canceled. Who benefits from that. The real benefit is someone being rehabilitated and then having that person as a voice on the plus side of this, but we never want that because that's harder. That requires more nuance that requires more work. That's what I was looking at watching the season. Sorry special cancel culture. I don't think is productive and he might've been a soldier for something he a public casualty that didn't have to exist in this me to movement and it is easy. As an example, someone requires us to look at every situation differently just because the timing January 2018 to me to movement. Let's not put seasons are in the same boxes Harvey Weinstein as so many people flippantly did at the time. Yes, it you believe that based off what I'm hearing from you.

Do you believe that the level of forgiveness is attached to how talented you are more talented you are, the easier it is to forgive you what interesting thing man. It is, in some cases, I agree with that, that I think used to be the case when Kobe Bryant Michael Vick R Kelly Martelli were the century. I think in the past that used to be the case, but now and cancel culture. I think it's your gone forever not coming back from this and I don't know which ones more productive. I really don't. I think it is different. Let's go to the. The phones 336-777-1600 Jerry Winston-Salem once and on Grayson Allen's grace and I was back in the news gets ejected from a game. Let's enjoy this a little bit easier on the sports of what you think Grace and Alan well I thought I was told I could get want to let me make it in. Please write comment then I'll talk about Rice Malachi) that the main charges for study were yes no money the early early gave money to Smith with the key. If I can't prune that gas Nola David early 08 I completely gave early early pocketed the money and never gave it to Smith. So they got a prune to passes of the money and if they can't prove both passes then the player never got anything. If the player didn't get anything Godfrey properly supervised early because early scam gas Nola that will be a tough test if they can't prove the double pass of the money then the player got nothing and then Godfrey wasn't my favorite stagecoach. But then Godfrey didn't do anything well it is with religion remotely. I don't know what they got in hard evidence that will move on from that mail the grace of Allendale. My standard comment.

The second family trip somebody when he was the third time, but the second time they deployed for anybody other than her Carolina illegally obtained it impolite immediately and then the third time shift is suspending the legs because you taking care of it then suspended him indefinitely. One game later. Well, he's learned his lesson well is the third time he got it how you when you learned his lesson again got one over on the legal that one got a great canal and plan it all in house all the replays of what he did last night but the first one was obviously a man just through the god damn circuit one argue he was trying to block the shot that is that really matter if the guy anyway yeah that's the culture he was beyond the three point line when he got them with her forearm shiver. It seem like to the face, knocking up where the ground and then on the baseline. You could argue is try to block a shot but man it was. It was quite a forearm right to the face clears up a little bit more controlled and that and yes the old reminder there. The one game indefinite suspension one game indefinite suspension timing matters to because I believe that's when Coach K was dealing with the loss of his brother in Chicago so Jeff Capel was filling in as the head coach at that point as well. So there were a lot of things circling around the basketball programs run Christmas by going know it was in January or early by going back going back to the NC state stuff though you're right they have to prove what early or make a gas Nola testified in court in New York that the money was exchanged between early to gas Nola to Dennis Smith Junior were fast nor the early have to prove a couple of movements of money, and it can't just be the voice of Gosnell. It's got to be some evidence now because of subpoenas they were able to raid NC State's basketball offices to get some documents and I assume they have some hard evidence were going to see what exactly that is you are listening to W STS Winston-Salem WC OG Greensboro WPC in Burlington W MFR Highpoint
