I really feel like this is their best shot to win a regular-season title in the eight year drought make it nine year drought that Coach K has had one a regular-season ACC crown last time be in 2010.

Duke recruits that wanted done and it's just taken more time for his teams to come together and as a result, by the time they do there already out of the regular-season race by seasons that it's been dominance by North Carolina and Virginia in the last half-dozen years or so, but this particular year, there is doubt, not only with North Carolina but with Virginia both losing a substantial amount of their scoring Dukes going to have to shoulder some of that as well with Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Kam reddish leaving off to the MBA and Marquise Bolden leaving a ton of his defense and experience, but this is the best collection of youth and experience a Mike suggested team is had probably since the 2015 championship team. Remember, that's the last team that had a returning point guard coming back. Among the starters that Coach K's hat that was Quinn Cook and Duke.

They went through turmoil in that season. Beyond that, I think it's too I think the top tier consist of just two teams. I think it's the Cardinals in the blue Devils.

This is the best shot. Dukes had to win an ACC regular-season title in the last five years. They haven't done it since 2010. I also mentioned that North Carolina has a little bit of uncertainty surrounding the that leads me to my second storyline.

This ACC basketball season is North Carolina's frontcourt. I am concerned about UNC right now. I going to do it here. You usually know what you're getting from Roy Williams to you know you can rely on the Biggs or is good to have a Roy Williams can have a senior guard that can pick up the bulk of the story.

That's not what exists right now is the safe this team is less talented, no. While there's so much turnover. What North Carolina is losing in that regard their gaming in the talent department goalie at the deplane point guard might be the best team player in the entire Atlantic discomfort is that good, but the report you're already replacing someone was one of the most dynamic players of the conference last year in Kobe white and you can have to figure out a way to reach to pick up the scoring from Luke Mae Cameron Johnson. What are some things that you get to see on a day-to-day basis that maybe people on the outside are predictive try to get the dates back to the tournament for the first on. Some upperclassman for guys that have been in the fire before, so they have a feel for it. So this is one of the more experienced teams that will put out there on the court in recent memory. We have some very talented freshmen that will contribute as well and looking for contributions from them but we don't have to hang or handle pressure like you had in the past. I don't have to fill freshmen out there in terms of treatment to the rules that you will baptism by fire and figure out on the walking in small doses, reminds me of Brandon situation when he came as a freshman. He played some, but he got his feet wet and he got a taste of it, but we didn't have to leave them out there for extended periods of time. If he wasn't ready for. There's always a sense of appreciation for what the sacrifices that they made to be at that level and there's always a bone saw colors goes over there. Always good to see somebody that you come up in the trenches with domicile fraternity in all sports have you, nor are our paternity and basketballs a little bit different just because of there's so much common ground you like.

Now it's former players and I see it, no children played their plans for two things of that nature. So the conversation changes, but the bond is always there is a level you found to be more satisfying, more fulfilling than other no, not at all think you look professional level say that more satisfied on natural type torture but yet still reflect back about basic can reflect back on the high school days. These are all members of the very special so for me it's very fortunate great coaches coming up in high school and college. Obviously in plan professionally of clickers and Hall of Fame coaches and so for me, those members always something that reflect back upon the matter what I'm going to because life happens.
