This is dry when Josh drives weekday afternoon. This support is it was Groundhog Day for the Tar Heels and then and while it was hardly North Carolina's most heartbreaking defeat of the season. It might be the most difficult to explain away. It makes no sense that the Tar Heels lost this game, North Carolina. They dominated the winning categories in basketball in today's game. The first places I go to.

How did you shoot it from three. How are you doing on the board's rebounding and especially if you're playing on the road. How did you shoot from the foul line, North Carolina shot a higher percentage from 340%.

The Notre Dame's 32 they had a dominant rebounding that 47 boards to Notre Dame's 31+16 free throw shooting a massive bugaboo for North Carolina 1214 from the line did not miss a foul shot in the second half. Notre Dame, on the other end 10 of 17 from the free throw line. So those are winning numbers for the Tar Heels. I know you can immediately point to Josh what about the turnovers and it's true.

North Carolina had 12 Notre Dame only had six but when the lead slipped away.

The Tar Heels only had two turnovers in the final six minutes of this game and one of those was an illegal screen by Armando Baker.Roy Williams. He was asked if it's nerves if it was nerves setting for North Carolina. I didn't see nerves and neither did Roy. Just think what you nerves go over five is three breakthroughs.

There was nothing nerves: as long shot turnovers could be a little bit that your location is it makes mistakes Notre Dame really S North Carolina was up 1564, 49, with around eight minutes left to go to run by Notre Dame made a close again but the North Carolina and a couple more big shots and all of a sudden it's 73 to 64 your thinking North Carolina is going to escape with 76, 71, after: Anthony buried a massive three point shot so it wasn't nerves at all. The only explanation is this Notre Dame turned into a completely different basketball team. The final seven minutes of this for the first 33 minutes. The Irish were six of 26 from three-point land that is 26%. The final seven minutes of this game five for eight from lot from beyond the arc excused North Carolina.

As I mentioned dominated the boards, 47, 31+16 in that department.

However, what happened when it was 7671 Notre Dame gets an offense of rebound with Mooney. He goes up gets fouled makes two foul shots what happens on the final possession of the game. Notre Dame Mrs. for two gets an offense of rebound. It was Pflueger who kicked it out to Nate with Chesky and you know the rest was Chesky by the way, a 30% three-point shooter coming off the bench at single digits in the game before that final shot so it's the most confounding loss of the year for North Carolina. Another major major reason it's difficult for me to understand this and that it doesn't add up. Much like Saturday's game against Virginia, North Carolina, had the two best players on the floor: Anthony 23 points. He was efficient. Garrison Brooks was awesome yet again.

22 points, Brandon Robinson. He came back from injury I told you he was close. He plays any place well double digits off the bench. Christian Keeling good for the fourth consecutive game. It's just hard for me to put a finger on why this happened to the Tar Heels. Robert Walsh is the producer of the show taking your calls at 336-777-1600 Sawyer, Dylan, is in here as well will have plenty of reaction to this game, Jones Angel, the voice of the Tar Heels will join us in 25 minutes and will have the unofficial mascot of Tar Heel basketball in studio this hour.

B.as well on Twitter at sport sub triad if you would like to chime in that way.

So we played the Roy Williams cut that I found most interesting, but the one most people are reacting to today is this one right here got two choices. You can complete survival is curl up and start apologize to everybody. Everybody. It almost sounded musical after he cursed him apologizing to every body every body every body one more time.

Can I hear that apologize to everybody you the every body. My favorite cartoon characters of all time are people mad at Roy today. No way. Not even close. Tar Heel fans get it there more upset at what happened on the floor them. Roy cursing, but I put this on twitter and I feel the same way when one of your go to phrases is freaking is bound to happen the first time I've heard and dropped the F bomb before you slip up to close playing with fire in Winston-Salem.

I was thinking about you late last night with this game. Oh my God awful loss for the Tar Heels. It always seems like when you and see you lose is your one of the first calls, we have lined up here if you wanted 336-777-1600 and what you have for me today. Yeah.

Note you cannot call a lot in that I never make excuses for the Tar Heels and I thought you made a very big point shifting about NC State and North Carolina difference, but it all boils down to one thing. This group of players they're just not mentally tough. As you know you normal Tar Heel teams and then also you know we talked about for about a basketball lock, IQ, and it always seems like a deer in the headlights here right at the end of the game.

They just seem to panic and make you know, just silly mistakes so you know that's all I've got to offer and hopefully will go on the road and make a good shot against Louisville for the call and this isn't a good way to tear up the shell, but some historical perspective on today 19 years ago today we loss the intimidator Dale Earnhardt passed away killed on the final lap of the Daytona 500, and I was thinking about Dale Earnhardt a lot today and last night with the disastrous weekend NASCAR had to open up the season.

It's the great American race and the last thing you want on a racetrack is dealt. That's the last thing you want. We know some of the appeals to NASCAR where you have these physics defying metal just man-made speed machines that can do damage and have done damage killing spectators killing drivers and maybe over the last 19 years we've become a little bit spoiled because nobody on the NASCAR circuit released their top three series, have been killed in a race since Dale Earnhardt prompted NASCAR to make things safer.

19 years ago today, but last night, all we have will not racetrack was dealt. All we could do was expect the worse I give a lot of credit to the people who covered the sport they were putting out speculative stuff they were putting out misinformation, but it was terrifying seeing how everybody reacted around it and how little information existed because that's the word I kept going back to watching the coverage dealt the last thing you want on a racetrack. There's a massive difference as well for looking at reasons why it was disastrous this weekend for NASCAR.

The good news is that Ryan Newman did not pass away. He was in critical condition last night but statements put out saying that his injuries are like not life-threatening.

So that is the good news of the matter. It took a while before we arrived at that conclusion, but NASCAR needed good news with attendance dwindling at a precipitous rate and the ratings becoming a massive problem as well is a massive difference between a Sunday afternoon finish to the Great American race in a Monday afternoon.

Restart, you have the flair of the President of the United States telling the drivers to fire up their engines. You know, and everybody's following and everybody's off of work Monday.

It's just a different deal in the last reason. It just sucks is because it wasn't. It was a race where nobody cared about the result. Robert, do you even know who won the Daytona 500 last night no clue.

Denny Hamlin won the race who cares about Denny Hamlin's win today. It's all about Ryan Newman figuring out if he's going to be able to drive again or whatever. What the degrees of his injury. Injuries are some that something I can help thinking about following all of the coverage today and it was just a really tough weekend and Daytona a lot of stuff are going to do today. As I mentioned Jones Angel, the voice of the Tar Heels in 20 minutes. After that he got the unofficial mascot of Tar Heel basketball will join us at studio, but it's not just North Carolina's loss to Notre Dame were talking about the day, the blue Devils right now there at the top of the standings in the ACC we just put out our new ACC sports.com rankings one through 15 and with the blue Devils. There is something unprecedented going on with their freshman big man Vernon carries draft profile. I'll tell you exactly what that is next on the drive check in the driveway. Josh Gray don't stop the pain is marked with an offense of rebound was the voice of the Tar Heels things night Carolina's latest loss when being Notre Dame fighting Irish were now be enjoying by Jones and Jones. Most of this year's been pretty explainable. Okay, North Carolina. They've struggled this year, you point to all that they loss in May. Cam Johnson, among others, Kenny Williams, who were at the game on Saturday night against Virginia no longer being here Kobe white this year.

Little they leave to go to the MBA. The injuries call Anthony being out a month and 1/2, Anthony Harris, Sterling Manley, none of those guys are available, but last night. It's one of the more confounding losses this year because the winning areas of basketball three-point shooting rebounding free throws North Carolina they were dominant in those areas granted the 12 turnovers are good, but only two of them came in the final six minutes of the game. So how do you best explain what the difference was last night.

Well, you know, really were important to say that the other team have the right to try and win the game to and I think that Notre Dame really played well down the stretch and I don't know this number exactly Josh, I'm getting yesterday were something like 10 of their last 13 or I know one point there were eight of nine bear down the stretches for shooting the basketball and for them a bunch of shots and so I do think that making some employees hitting some read TJ Gibbs got really hot remade a couple of big ones that they got Notre Dame back unit.

I think once they got the momentum going in the right direction.

Carolina unfortunately have been in that situation multiple times this year and I think at some point when you are continuously on the wrong side of that that it into the next time that you're in that situation and you have to actively be able to break out of it and Carolina haven't been able to actively break out of it yet and so I do think there been times this year and some of these close losses Quinton and Duke, most notably that I think Carolina could very pointedly look at itself and go. You didn't do this to win the game and you probably should have done that in most of the time you do do that this game to me. Carolina had a couple bad possessions late, but it was more about what Notre Dame did and what Carolina didn't do down the stretch and the voice of the Tar Heels for about a decade now, but the following North Carolina basketball a lot longer when people think about the more frustrating years. The Tar Heels have had to go to the door the years, but even though the record, North Carolina has this year is better than the ones that Doherty had, especially the eight and 20 season in 2002. Does this one sting more because it's a Hall of Fame coach and Roy Williams and have a lottery pick and call Anthony and just the manner of some of these losses what you think will be 23, more than any good that that team couldn't compete with ACC level competition… They had a couple players through ongoing check manual meld of God, most notably, who later in their career were were huge impact players on a championship team. I think most oriole fans know that story that eight and 20 team will was not any good.

This team is not anywhere close to that. This team is competitive. This team has two compete in the ACC. The Vittorio certainly have not had all of those pieces. All of the time.

This year they have employed together very often. And that has made this a more challenging season and you went through some of the injuries earlier that have certainly affected the target not to be used as an excuse. I think it's just the fact of the story of this year for Carolina but this team is is nowhere close to that team so it it that makes it more frustrating are sting more because I think this team does have the potential to compete in could have done something more than it has done to this point, then sure and and it stopped farming being on that that bus and that plane was my one much fun you know that the guys are feeling every single one of these games and I think you thought when Brandon Robinson missed that last-second shot last night. He just got estate on the floor for an extra second, we think that after a game this year. It takes a toll to have it happen as much of that have happened particularly twice in whatever was 48 hours or 72 hours between Virginia and ending last night against Notre Dame.

Certainly that exacerbate the situation does make it more painful. It goes back to one of my favorite quotes from over 100 years ago from the great Hayward Brown. He once said that the biggest tragedy in life is it that you lose it's that you almost win in North Carolina has certainly come close to winning. As you said more competitive than that 2013, but so many nights like last night as we've come to learn what's the hardest you've ever seen Coach Williams take a loss everything up time that they would be great. Are there and I think he takes it personally and by that I mean he personally feels responsibility for every loss, and he feels that to his players. He feels that too is that he feels that two former players. He feels that the people who love Carolina I think that's why Roy Williams in addition to a lot of other things have been so successful at Carolina because he cares about it. He deeply cares about it and it drives him to be successful and to work the way that he works to try to make his team be as good as it can possibly be on a year in and year out basis, and so when those that hard work and that effort that he is put in and that his players are put in when it cannot showing results at the end of the day. Do you think that's very difficult, but certainly anybody who's been involved in the game for the longest Coach Williams have been. There are going to be heartbreaking defeats in Durgin to be exhilarating. Went back to the nature of athletics to have as many as Carolina have had in such a short amount of time. I do think is unique and like I mentioned earlier, I do think it's starting to wear on everyone involved, and by that I mean the players and the coaches because they're the ones limited every day. So yes, he is taking things hard but that's not unusual that's who you think of the voice of the Tar Heels Jones Angel was with this year on sports a try.

Three weeks from today. It's going to be the end of the five-year way in the triad the ACC tournament will be returning to Greensboro whether it's a television be enrolled into a lunchroom in Jacksonville, North Carolina or watching the tournament in person as the voice of the Tar Heels. What are some of your favorite memories of the ACC tournament in Greensboro, O God tournament is not what it used to be number one. And that is not flat tournament.

It's just the nature of athletics. Now I used to be in and I am not old enough to remember the day that you had to win it to go to the NCAA tournament that that's not what I'm talking about. Although certainly that added another aspect of the tournament as well but but I think as large as the ACC is gotten it. It's a marathon now to get to the ACC tournament. It's not local neighborly event that it used to be when you play Friday Saturday Sunday and everybody knew everybody in every single game and you knew every single player on every single team that's just not the case in your you start on Tuesday. Now Carolina more than likely going to have to play on Tuesday, which is insane and so for many and so the fact that it is such a different event. Now I do think changes some of your feelings about it.

At least it did for me. Now, having said all of that Carolina certainly have had some wonderful memories in that event before talk about Greensburg.

Typically, certainly the 2011 tournament was a memorable one for Carolina in more recent years they had that big comeback against Miami and the quarterfinals. Tyler Zeller had a buzzer beater to win at the barn to put up 40 points in the semifinals. Carolina Duke matchup in the championship.

Carolina without gas at that point, and that gave good duty of that year to you and Duke ended up winning the title. The 98 tournament that 98 team is still in my opinion may be the best, and certainly one of the best, along with 84 and 77, 87, and some others.

The best Carolina team did not win the national championship and serve again. One of if not the end they were they were flexing her muscles that that tournament in Greensboro 1998, and no other team great moment there to visit Randall Childress in Wake Forest and Duke you have that long run of success in the tournament and so does a wonderful job.

Coliseum is a wonderful arena for it. The people there care they're interested in it and it does in my opinion it is the best spot for it so looking forward to being there. Carolina hopes that it there for several days and if you have to be if he wants to advance any further than been Greensburg coming up in a few weeks. Jones have a great call Saturday in Louisville will next see you when NC states coming to Chapel Hill next week. Thanks for doing this so good. That's Jones Angel, the voice of the Tar Heels had enough to spend a little time here in terms of how hard Roy Williams takes losses one sticks out to me recently I was talking to a former Tar Heel player who remembered Coach Williams as an assistant and told me the story of how when he was coaching the JV team he would.

This player would get ready for a game in there getting set to play at NC State one night and in the corner of the locker room he sees Coach Williams in tears crying and he had to go up to another coach. It's a yellow with what what's going on with Coach Williams. Is everything okay with him and someone said I think so, but the JV team just lost a game Roy Williams was in tears over the JV team was being spent. Apparently the last time Dean Smith and Roy Williams had dinner the night before he was set to go to Kansas and become the head coach be introduced. The one piece of advice that Dean Smith gave them or one of the pieces of advice was to be better at taking losses and I don't know if he's gotten better, but it still seems like in these postgame press conference as he takes it pretty darn hard. Okay from the official voice of the Tar Heels to the unofficial mascot of Tar Heel basketball beat and studio.

There are three things about this North Carolina season we've never seen before. I'll tell you what those things are when B.joins the show next the hell is this drive everything until you get caught up with all well not totally true with Josh Graham or Tom triad.

We like to take swings around here. Some of them are strikeouts.

Some flowed over the fence. I don't know for like a modern-day slugger where it's your batting 241 you have over 200 strikeouts in a season.

I'd like to think were like one of those old school sluggers Jason Giambi like that you might can argue our shows on PD's might be fair, I don't know robber are you want anything performance-enhancing like plead the fifth. B. Dotson studio, the unofficial mascot of Tar Heel basketball and this is an example of us taking a swing. It is our example of trying something out. We first workshop did a week ago and it was all off-the-cuff. Robert just pulling random sound and be not coming up with some urban terminology right on the fly, trying to see if I knew what it meant. You remember what that word was. I think it was Capt.

What does capping mean lion so I'm learning and the reason B.wants to do this is because he knows I works I work in sport just means I'm in locker rooms NFL college basketball MBA. So if I'm going to be around different cultures.

I need to know how to communicate. If you can't tell by my nasal concern sounding voice. I I'm somebody that sounds Caucasian. Probably the best with what is nothing wrong with that but self-improvement wise, I think there's always areas to grow so this is be dots grammar school see what we did there were boy and put your name this is my show names on it, is what we do. So I'm to be taken to school Josh Graham has his own way of speaking school even play sports wear a helmet and just when you think you can't get any worse thing.

The steeds wanted to find means you think that next semester I'll be 30 Josh is going to attempt to learn be dots vernacular the old-school street knowledge. You know I mean you guys for being dots grammar school.

I like last week we gave you And you will correct Is why I was not correct I got it wrong, but I remembered what it was.

A week removed. So here's what were going to do you give the word. I guess I try to guess and while that's happening. I'll get out the phone number and we'll see if anybody can wrap and assist me what it means to see if your learning is there anybody in sports this week. That is been Facing Rudolph. He's Resolute of the I believe that I get a bill for Josh right there.

Great. I believe Miles Garrett why this words week. What is the definition of loud all LOUD Lau, 367771 600-777-1600 if you could tell us what Lau being I can go ahead and eliminate like when things around you. The volumes up so much that it hurts like your ears. That type of loud I think that's what were talking about eliminating so that's eliminated. Sawyer seems confident. He knows what it means you Robert only understood what was the exact those should all be.

Here's the update we got somebody to help you out all right. Are they told me that Kyle from big bear Burlington is here to help you my go-ahead. Kyle, I would love only I know now I'm getting a synonym like eight incriminate myself, but it also means okay. All right.

I'll work out what else to give a different deficit is six 777-1600 is the phone number.

This is kind of like a wants to be a millionaire clear on getting the phone callers come in any given me information to Keenan news in High Point Kenan. We had hoped as being good definition for loud.

What words would you use to describe loud or thermoelectric anybody from high point will definitely know what I got I got one more hit for you was that it smells, as is something like of our delivery drivers that bring Jeannie foods.

It's what they smell sees this doesn't allow cover your spell it all out there we go 336-777-1600 I'm getting some clues here.

I'm trying to investigate and see exactly what you just have an iPad get off your iPad will take one more call as I tried to dissect what the word might be my what you got to help us out here.

My dad's office loud yeah I think I might have a quality of marijuana like all the refund is to the police thank you so much, but I know officer Mike Mike as well.

It all right so I just took all that information at something regarding like a a potent smell so I'm going to say loud means when topic smells really good, like a nice high on a Sunday afternoon I'm wrong, oh my God, what is it mean marijuana. Marijuana is so strong that it loud shoots. Yeah, I thought I might be about segment. I'm not making a mockery of the segment we made a mockery of a lot of things on this show Lau to turn got it written that I think we also fit 1212 on the way out is that my dad is my dad.

He runs a lot of the dairy stuff in the state of North Carolina. I think I that goes my dad because my dad being probably help them and how to teach young people not allow also would like a noun like that it can be two things that I want to let you know that people can have lower arm.

I see somebody in the locker room. You might say hey.you got from Lau right arm.

I can get you somewhere or you might smell someone who smells loud as I got them I just want to hear, smell about these two different ways you can use.

There are some locker rooms that do smell out a cell there we go. Yeah, I need to figure out the real Senate. I think that's the way we did the Different Know me know I was I was trying to do that I actually use the word In a different white Caucasian context was harboring you get yours you get your sentence up. I loved the callers were all trying to dance around it was actually give it to my think that's the way it should move forward.

Also, don't try to use the words we are taught you in the wrong way. Your new, don't you At all.

That means you don't start with a lot I do appreciate the phone to call them 777-1600 and participated in. I do agree with Rob hundred percent moving forward. Let them come in to give hints that this one. See if you can guess I got a sentence are you ready with your the Carolina Panthers were interested in signing Josh Gordon but it just turns out he's too loud know I feel like that's like you got like 68 on the test like you you you get here in failing to fix it. Okay I got a better yeah I don't think I pick I do Marty Hardy Marty Ernie asked cam Newton hey should we sign Josh Gordon cam says now he too loud.

Dammit, he's only loud if he smells like loud when he's around you like just cam with that in the same situation can't responsibly now you know you got a problem with the Lau got to give it a shot. Loud as a noun, got it. I thought I did before but now let's do this one more time the Panthers will not sign Josh Gordon, why not. It's got a problem with that loud. Thanks for being here to the unofficial mascot of Tar Heel basketball beat in studio with thoughts. You'll be here next week as well. The ACC tournament begins in Greensboro. Three weeks from the day. However, if it started the day what would the matchups be what would be the top storylines next on the drive broadcasting clearly is something that you guys are not sucking me into the story at all.

Just tell me of your own benefit drives with Josh Gray on sports hubs right last night's bachelorette is so delivered as Sawyer predicted it when he walked into my office yesterday and said no you ready for tonight is a North Carolina basketball fan, so I thought he was talking about his Tar Heels Sawyer is a fair weather fan very much all he's been out during the entire time he's been alive. The Tar Heels of been good so Sawyer decides he's not going to watch his team play and studies just excited about the bachelor I had an iPad with the North Carolina game on. I was watching the bachelor simultaneously with that. It was an exciting night were down to three remaining at stuff fantasy suite round next week. Exhilarating stuff we have imaging for this.

This is growing and becoming one of the more popular segments.

We do each week. It is our bachelor met so it's another going never ending series bachelor push the limits of what's accessible on national TV. The intentions of hooking up as many of the contestants is possible to simply remove is on the clock.

All Charles Barkley and Bruce Pearl made appearances in this episode of the bachelor. Why Madison is the favorite lives in Auburn and all home that's almost adjacent to Jordan hare Stadium seems to be a pretty long rambling her dad is the director of basketball operations with Auburn basketball. So there are ties with basketball that relate to Madison that I found interesting. More on the data in a second.

So the guys well-connected with Auburn basketball walks into Auburn Arena and on the scoreboard is Chuck saying this idiot don't break her heart. Peter Peter Griffin, durable, just durable that impression.

Then it's Bruce Pearl walking out and he had the line of the night.

See if you make the hometown date in the final four Auburn made it to the final four last year. Sorry to bring that up Tar Heel fan. He said to Madison. Congrats on making your second final for Mattie straight-line prone and I appreciate the bachelor for making sure they insult our intelligence by having jerseys Auburn jerseys ready for them not having the last name of Peter and Madison on the just having their first names written on the back fader back all bird you sold me a very good jersey that the Brazilian got one name here is that that with a little on a plate pickup.

Peter has a pretty Claim Jumper them. To be honest, Sawyer would think it was the one the other one clear front runner that Madison she's your pick from the beginning I passed on her. I had the Greg Oden of the first overall pick.

I went with Sarah who got eliminated like two or three episodes in you at the second pick which turned out to be Kevin Durrant as Madison is the favorite. However, I still think she's going to be the bachelorette. I think can Robert somehow swipe his candidate I think honestly she's probably going to win because seems Madison doesn't love Peter back. She hasn't said I love you back the Peter so I think might actually win this entire thing and I get to a gripe I have with her dad asked her what what is your dad do all he coaches under Bruce Pearl. He's a basketball coach.

The bachelor lies to you all. Yeah Colton quarterback. This guy used to play football professionally. He was on the practice squad got caught after a week that guys a pro athlete, Colton, and this is very loose there definitions of things here this guy Madison that is not a basketball coach, director of basketball explain what they do very quickly. They're the ones that are responsible for travel like trying to figure out what itineraries are for the team. If there are certain food that they need on the plane before they get there not on the staff to close their part of the support staff wrong with that. Just don't say he's a basketball coach because that's not what he is. Secondly, last night, bachelor Pan Am got the job done wearing Tiger Sunday read.

She decided to wear red on the hometown date.

The family was cool, didn't seem to be any crazies crazy enough. If you're a final four contestant on the bachelor's or not you're probably an attractive woman in all four instances, there was for three out of the four instances, there was a sister that was more attractive than the bachelor contest you lost quite do for me but and and Madison and have the moms look like the future representation of how these would have their moms lost all not all good, all pretty good so is in good shape that it went on and asked growing date, probably not the best place to take Peter after cut open his entire head running into a freaking careful Roy Williams finger is above the dumb but yeah running into a golf cart cutting his head.

There probably actually not the greatest thing by the way asked growing so they serve alcohol thereto just incredibly dangerous. We love and she's the road to the final three and to the fantasy suite. So is it going to be Kelsey or is it going to be Victoria. The entire episode wanted you to swerve wanted you to swerve and think that for you that Kelsey was going to get through but it was obvious Kelsey and Pete.

They weren't smiling at each other. They were enjoying the date they were so bored with each other.

She's a disaster. But Peter seems to be very attracted to her peers attracted the Victoria ever wanted her to get through and what was crazy is we didn't even see her family might be the first time someone got sent through to the final round. After hometown date we going to meet the family because things blew up in the parking lot, though it's down to the final 3 Victoria Ave., Hannah and and it is to be Madison as well.

You guys are telling me to wrap up the bachelor minute. Last I checked, this is my damn radio show is going on.

I get I get there. Breaking news Sawyer, we have time to get to the breaking news doesn't mean the radio show asked in. Yes, there is breaking news that will get to in a minute. We have important stuff here bachelor: claim sounds only to go on more Victoria F still the worst but we know I should. Peter wants to get the fantasy suite, so this get a piece of drama next week. All right Robert, that's the end of the bachelor minute that quick enough for you Sawyer UK little 30 seconds longer to be all right. Carolina Panthers former tied in Greg Olson has signed a one-year, $7 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks. This just went down and we knew it was either to be the Seahawks. The bills or the Washington Redskins. The Redskins even though Ron Rivera is in place.

There it didn't make much sense considering he didn't want to be a part of the rebuild Carolina. Why would he want to be a part of rebuilding Washington. If you can apply just one more season really was down to Buffalo and Seattle. I thought Buffalo would be a better fit because familiarity is a very important thing I think is something if you been speaking a certain language or certain verbiage for a decade, why not go to the place that does things similar Buffalo does that Brandon beans and leadership came from the Carolina Cir., Sean McDermott is a former Ron Rivera assistant got Dan Morgan in that building you got former teammates in that building. I think Buffalo is more on an upward swing Josh Allen. He plays a similar style cam Newton does. I thought that was a better fit.

Bought Seattle.

That's a playoff team from last year and how many guys Robert were hurt from that team a year ago the backfield you shot any hurt was a Chris Carson hurt before that playoff game, often on yeah yeah so the Seahawks they were banged up and still made the postseason. I think this is an example of Greg saying I'm going to take my chances with the quarterback and the head coach you have had the most success in this league that is where I am going to take my chances while Buffalo might look like a better roster on paper knowing the patriots have run that division for a very long time and I would still say today. Tom Brady is a better chance of returning to New England and going anywhere else. So if Brady is in the division and you're talking about one year, one year, one more opportunity. I don't know why it sounds like Eight Mile got one shot one opportunity that spaghetti off your chest, you have one chance.

Why would you sign with Buffalo, which is been to two playoff games in the last 22 years.

Why would you choose that and going up against Bella check in the patriots over a team that was in the playoffs last year that has a Super Bowl winning head coach probably should been a twice Super Bowl head coach of the reason he wasn't the cause that Bill Belichick I and pair yourself with somebody was one of the three best quarterbacks in the sport last year is also a mobile quarterback cam Newton had success with it tight ends.

They work pretty well in Seattle with Russell so I like either of those places as fits for Greg Olson if you have reaction to this 36 777-1600 is the phone number on Twitter at sports of dryad the breaking news Greg Olson. He has signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks that has to be the most difficult division in football S. Probably the biggest reason I valued Buffalo more than I valued Seattle you have the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers were going to be back next year who they losing authority. Everybody is essentially back you have the LA Rams won the NFC the previous year, and while they had a tough season tough season was still nine and seven have to compete with that the Arizona Cardinals did not have a bad season last year a lot of improvement from being the worst team in the NFL quarterback is going to do a second year and Kyla Murray, though nothing is going to be interesting. There as well. Adam Shafter was the one the report. This he added this Greg Olson really liked Buffalo in Washington strongly considered both but the lure of playing with Russell Wilson in Seattle was just too strong.

So Olson took a one-year deal. Robert what you looking at their just looking at the injured players for not the players won't return for the 49ers next year anybody of interest Emmanuel Sanders. They traded for an expiring contract and then outfront he would be foolish to go anywhere else.

I would imagine so then three starters on defense.

You got Eric Armistead who I believe they have the opportunity to pick up his fits your options yet that they have a 50 or option. Armistead and Sheldon day for his bunk. Buckner still in that defensive line Eastside you still have Solomon Thomas you still a bozo going into a second year at still to be one of the better defensive line that Jimmy Ward will that's what it so 49ers are to be there. The LA Rams contract situations a lot more tricky.

But that still a an excellent head-coaching sonic that it's not that easy for for Greg Olson but if your job just come out of this is Shafter mentioned a second or Shafter just tweeted I am making a living as a tight end catching passes one of the best pass catching tight ends in the history of the sport. That's not hyperbole if I am making a living doing this. I want whoever is the best at throwing the football thing .4, it might've boiled down to that. Okay Russell Wilson, Josh Allen, Blaine Haskins/miracle Alex Smith return.

Who do I want to play only the football, I wanted to be Russell Wilson. What I'm more interested in this moment, so a lot for us to learn two things right so to do the XXL broadcast is really good on those really good on Sunday. Number two Sawyer why were you trying to rush me so much to get out of the bachelor minute when you're just sitting there staring at your phone the moment I got to Greg Olson will thing was a member.

Sometimes you get upset that it would break and you have enough time to talk about it.

So were to make sure that like you know was going on and also afterwards would be like here okay think behind the show. Robert has the capability to press a button talk in my ear. In a way that you can't hear on the air.

Robert Dave said something into my headphones that you can't hear right now the only I can hear playing with fire. Just like Roy Williams did last night same freaking time, until he didn't say freaking while moments ago.

Robert said while is when the bachelor minute Greg Olson just signed Seattle Seahawks without great working to get to that in a second, but you are sitting right next woman heard him say that and you sell that I consume this information.

So what happens you just want me to rush the bachelor minute and we sit here at 547 and there are still two minutes left to go in this segment with everything I have to say about bridles we can talk about the cows that passed away. Please note I don't want to be more angry phone call.

Yes, I thought Robert was referring to me and that I was like oh, and I realize you might've heard it and then it was just too far and to make sure to take partial blame for turning his microphone so quickly after telling him that he wasn't really saying it to you. He was saying, muttering into the microphone.

Also, headphones can you not hear that know this. My cousin really low, so I don't really know I'm talking myself. It's frustrating. It's frustrating sometimes how bad it radio we are not as frustrated as that trailer driver was when he killed those 21 cows, only cows I really did not kill the cows eat the rule as I 40 still to be a wreck on the drive home. I'm not sure that's what my body was telling me is that the work he was driving through when they were cleaning up this morning and I do not. I'm not blind you. He said you could hear the know. It was the worst stop. I feel bad I don't want to hear it. So we do another memorial very quickly the pool the music of that lately did the music very quickly now really sad. We are all held up in traffic this morning. Robert was really mad he was texting me and then he learned it was this trailer that tipped over and punched out was just cows. It was a lifecycles lifecycle together okay say the Robert tell me how an owner of some line now used a different way to get rid of symmetry.

I know it that way again to the house
