All this is Josh to a Friday Dr., Clemson fans are really going through it the day I was a guest on a Clemson radio station earlier and who boy it was doom and gloom. Now that Tony Elliott has officially accepted the head coaching job in Virginia. That means in the last week. Clemson is lost. It's a D both of its coordinators and have had three top 100 recruits did commit so that just means it'll be Wake Forest and NC State competing for the Atlantic next year were I hates I'd pump the brakes on that just because I think little Clemson's going to be fine.

And they're probably going to be the favorite to win the league next year. Rightfully so, let's not overreact to the new cycle coaching turnover. It's part of the job when you're a Clemson it's not new for Dabo Sweeney and he's pretty good at this. We've learned in past instances Dabo Once upon a time in 2014 was seen as the figurehead coach without any coordinator experience that was really good to have a difficult time in 2014, replacing Chad Morris. I remember this being a conversation point had left to become the head coach.

I think SMU and this is before Clemson ever went to the college football playoff.

Then he promoted from within. Little-known coaches named Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott to be co-offense of coordinators and wanted to know it next year.

Clemson started this run of going to consecutive college football playoffs ended this year and is now book ended with Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott both being head coaches just got a couple years ago hired at USF and Tony Elliott now going to Charlottesville. Dabo he hired from within the does a good job grooming coaches and it seems like on the defensive side they already have a guy behind the scenes they really like to stop at the Brent Venable choose the report say it's Wes Goodwin, who I've done a little bit of investigating on talking with some folks apparently he's the guy that's big on analytics big on film study where you can when it seems like Clemson knows what the other team is doing formational. Even with the displays. He apparently is a big part of it. If Brent Venable's was ever to miss again because of coded protocols or anything of that sort. The stand-in coach would not of been one of the defensive position coaches. It would've been Goodwin. So it seems like he's the common sense replacement Brent Venables the reaction that that's going to be. You could've gotten must trample one of these bigger names. Why are you hiring from within Clemson's going to be on its way down I'm preparing you for this now. Dabo is pretty good. It does because he has to no he could pull a top coordinator from anywhere in America.

Clemson pays assistance pretty much more than everybody across the country.

That's why Venables was offered so many jobs over the last few years. It required Oklahoma where he had worked for a dozen years to offer him the head coaching job for him to leave Clemson. It was pretty comfortable. Both Elliott and Brent Venables. Let's not forget before this run of playoff success before the national championships before all these great recruiting rankings which is jumped up the out that the talent level at Clemson in the last decade. Clemson had the resources and the money to pry Venables away from Bob stoops's sideline where Venables was the associate head coach defensive coordinator become the little Clemson.

Think about that that was in 2012 so who's the coordinator in America. You don't think Dabo Sweeney can get. If he doesn't want and I think that's probably what they're going to do on the offense of side.

I think you're gonna find a big-ticket coach who is either a head coach somewhere else that was fired or Joe Brady tire per one of the top coordinators in college football right now and convince them to come.

The little Clemson are going to be fine. Clemson wasn't bad this year, even though they didn't win the Atlantic.

It was a pretty impressive coaching job.

Given all the injuries they had including defensive player of the year in the preseason Brian busy out for the year injured in the state game will simply missing half the year, losing two of the greatest players, not just in Clemson history. But in the history of the Atlantic Coast conference Trevor Laura to Travis ETN. Despite all of that, they still won nine games. They still went six and two. They still were in a position going into the final week of the season where they could've extended their streak of going to Charlotte so next year I think you're going to be fine this year but have a top 10 recruiting class again, which will be the fifth consecutive year.

They've had a top 10 class will have more talent than anybody else there going to be playing NC stay at home wolf pack hadn't wanted death Valley since Philip Rivers was playing quarterback and we already saw what Clemson this year was able to do against the Atlantic Champion wake for Stephen deacons and that's beat them by 20 points. So let's not overreact. Clemson's going to be fine.

Don't bury them there probably gonna be the favorites 20 ACC next year, or at least they should on Twitter at WS transports. If you want to chime in on today show. It's the driver Josh Grant hey that's me.

Robert was the producer of the show taking your phone calls at 336-777-1600 get the Panthers Falcons in about 10 minutes for the second straight night ACC hope Stennett slip up about that Pittsburgh held on against the toothpaste got a little ugly. At points, but they beat Colgate good for Jeff Capel. We should enjoy every when they get the ship because it's not good to be a lot of those. Then there was NC State which impressively chalked up both always in and the loss last night and here's what I mean. The pack controlled Methuen Cookman which they should have one in 17 going into the Reynolds Coliseum jumped out to a nine nothing. We never trailed but did let Cookman hang around a little bit in the second half, but a win to win and certainly a 17 point win is a 17 point win. Then I flipped the channel to the game that was going on at Piscataway, where number one Perdue lost to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Why is that important NC State's next game is two days from now against number one Perdue, regardless of what happened Sunday produced probably not good to be the number one team in the rankings come out on Monday, which means it will be the third straightly week that number one was unseated with their first loss of the year Zagat beat Duke or beacon zag I should say following week. Duke was beaten by Ohio State and then this week, Perdue losing the Rutgers. It happened the remarkable fashion Robert. I think we have the play-by-play call lined up here. This is the Rutgers radio call from last night. I always love game-winning calls and this is what it sounded like on the Rutgers radio network when Scarlet Knights beat number one Perdue with just the thought of it did sideways seven one-on-one little Lori gets inside 3.4 to go to Harper with three with 21 Harper, J will form the court. Leave it to the analyst. Robert always jump over the play-by-play guy in that moment every single time that happened. How long until you actually expect analysis from the Colorado is short of saying the same to over and over again.

At what point do you become a professional would tell you more about what's happening with your love something goes pretty like it was well and are not, you know what happened.

Rutgers fans that's that's in there talking to. They probably love it. Just like I can listen to the app state called day of the Michigan win where Dave Jackson's getting trampled over the entire time. I love calls like this.

I really do.

But I'll tell you probably doesn't love it NC State because you got Perdue up bags and that's going to be a crispy bunch Sunday afternoon 2 o'clock. It is the Hall of Fame invitational at Berkeley Center in Brooklyn and Perdue North Carolina fans already know all about this because the Tar Heels lost by nine to this team at Mohegan Sun but FSU got hammered by this group last week. I think they lost by 18 this theme, Perdue also has wins against Iowa and Villanova.

So last night I felt old when Ron Harper Junior was the one hitting that shot at the end. Unbelievable sequence.

There, but I also felt bad for state because right when you get a win and you're feeling good. Hey, where 72.

Yeah, you have a shot against the number one team then you see that number one thing go down in that type of fashion and God appeal and with all the talent that number once even as when you're facing a pitstop version of that group.

Probably not to go well for you as a lunatics smells like a gym bag to drive with you on WSJ sports have state championship on the night right WSJ support Dudley basing JH Rose in Chapel Hill, the matter will be calling that game for us. Dave Polaski will drop by five minutes or we get to him. The great Susie Kolbert is reporting Duke football news. You heard that right where she says that according to sources which I have to imagine is Jason Garrett himself.

Hence her being on the NFL in the things that Jason Garrett reader Tweet hearing Jason Garrett is a front runner for the Duke head coaching job having witness Garrett behind-the-scenes speaking to teaching young men incredibly powerful and truly inspirational. A great fit.

Hope this happens you and me both Susie Kolber because earlier this week. I'll be honest, I dismissed the idea. I thought it was ridiculous, but the day more more I thought about this. I think come around on the idea of Garrett in Durham.

It seems pretty clear that he wants the job to where talking to Steve Wiseman about yesterday and Steve doesn't know where things stand between Duke and Garrett but does note that Garrett really wants the job. It's not the other way around like some would perceive it to be that Duke might go shooting for an NFL coach just so happens to be a Duke man, rather than former NFL coaches never coached in college at all, not even as an assistant being interested in coaching bluebells now is why think it works gets how private schools operate.

That's a big part of the deal, why Mike Elko is a safe higher for them why he's flown up the the tears to be the betting favorite right now if there was such a thing to be Duke's next coat.

He he is as a former Ivy League or pen Jason Garrett used to play quarterback at Princeton and he is a huge Duke fan like a close friend of Mike Sharansky has gone in and spoke to the team a handful of times been on campus a handful at times it just makes a lot of sense to me at he was the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. I know we can have some of these NFL opinions seep into our psyche here as a relates to college and thank God didn't get it done New York and this guy was it great with the cowboys but he was still the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the offense of coordinator for the New York Giants. Earlier this year. How is that not higher up on your coaching rankings been the assistant coach at Texas A&M see what I'm saying here if you want to find somebody that coach Scott can't coach circles around to replace him.

Jason Garrett is one of those got nose ball that they pretty clearly and I'm not concerned that he hasn't recruited in the past. Every football player is going to know who he is the coach of the Dallas Cowboys a couple years ago everybody's good to know who he is.

All of it played in the NFL for the cowboys and if you're worried about compliance and NCAA issues that might come out of this.

Look at the year were sitting in its 2021. The NCAA is not his power. The NCAA is the weakest it's been in our lifetimes and in IL is made things a lot easier from a compliance standpoint to he was the head coach of the cowboys. Of course he could coach the Duke blue Devils and it would be a big swing. I love it when organizations when college is when programs take swings when they take stabs in the dark. I love it like a Trident knockback rule for hiring Joe Brady, even though it didn't work. Even though we didn't meet him before he saw what LSU is doing thought, yeah I'll go out of my comfort zone will make that happen. In here you have an in a former NFL head coach who's off fan of your school who went to an Ivy League school that really wants the job. It seems like selfishly, I hope it happens because it would make Duke football more interesting.

It would make the ACC more interesting. It has a better shot of Duke be a consistent winner, whatever that looks like verses say hiring the assistant coach from Texas A&M that's my two cents on do we have.

They Polaski joining us now. They Polaski going to be on the call. Is it 7 o'clock or 730 kick that we have here day, 7 o'clock pick from. Can I just 630 pregame 7 o'clock kick it's going to be Dudley going up against JH Rose high school from Eastern North Carolina for the three a title in Chapel Hill you called Dudley last week and they took care of business.

How much do you like their chances tonight after scouting the rapids of JH Rose. Well, I mean you have to like their chances with the way that they been rolling through the playoffs even against the tougher competition that was part of the crew about them during regular how to step up when the competition gets tougher well throughout the entire playoffs they've done.

So they took downstate on the road. 26 and then they returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown last week against Southpoint that really set the tone in that 38 nothing victory. Now and both schools have produced a lot of college talent. Follow Dave on Twitter at Dave Polaski listen to the game right here on WSJ, a sports or you can find it streaming on the app or online.

What piece of crap have you done for this game for either side that you're just hoping there's an opportunity tonight to work in while that's a good question. I mean, there's so much history between these two programs that your JH Rose in the early 2001 21 straight playoff games for straight state titles they want five overall Dudley going after their seventh state title in program history there fit on the NCHS so there's a lot of history and a lot of tradition between the Jew and all that into previous championship games out of the never actually met before in 2013 Kelly ended up winning the state championship JH Rose got bounced in the semifinals before Dudley ended up winning the title that your and then in 2015 W loss of the semifinals. Charlotte Catholic and I'm JH Rose lost in the championship game to Charlotte Catholic police to think I've been around each other a lot.

Having gone head-to-head, and I have it right that this is the triads only shot at a state title this year.

Do I have that right yet correct, yet with the elimination of subdivisions you only have 14 games instead of eight like you have it in previous years, and it's a testament to what W been able to do because it's a walker playoffs. As a result, you basically gone through 1/2 of fusion just to reach this point, you plan your sixth game of the playoffs. Tonight and now you have a child state title.

So it just speaks to the talent level. The depth and the experience of W. In these situations. Do you remember a year the triads in it. When a state championship lease. In the years that you've covered who in knowing that you know in the six years. Now there is 2017. Reidsville is the only team to make it to the state championship game is regular cadence that you played Wallace Roseville had a running back by the name of John J. Williams ended up at North Carolina on the first play from scrimmage you got 73 yards for a touchdown and right in the target backyard. I'm sure that caught a couple of recruiters and attention he ends up going to Carolina gets drafted by the Broncos in the foreground of the NFL draft this year is putting forth a stellar rookie season, but that was a thriller of the game that Wallace Roseville one 3528 in overtime that was a lot of fun to try it did not win a state title for years while bullets hope that Dudley gets when the night and we look forward to listening to you on the call tonight at 7 o'clock with a 630 pregame Dave had a great call in Chapel Hill tonight. Thanks, Josh can be a lot of fun. There he goes.

They Polaski joining us here and what he described their about Javon Tang was a second round pick in this years draft is spot on. Because he went to a small school once again another school in eastern North Carolina called Wallace Roseville high school and North Carolina just had an extra scholarship hanging around four years ago and they they were watching this game as it was in Chapel Hill and Larry Fedora like to watch the state title games and as you mentioned opening kick was ran back.

Larry started asking quote who is this guy and it turns out he didn't have any offers or any other FBS schools or at least not power five and he offered after the game and that guy Javon. They Williams obviously ended up being a pretty damn good player made it to the NFL. So that's a pretty neat story. Robert your you're pretty familiar both of us are pretty familiar with JH Rose on the other side.

We were talking about Clemson quite a bit earlier.

Cornell Powell somebody that played for that high school and he mentioned all the success from a decade or so ago Andre Brown played for the Giants went to that high school lot a lot of talent that's come out of Eastern North Carolina didn't used to work on those radio broadcasts to work is a loose term used to board for the high school games you so later tonight will have the game right here WSJ at sports. 7 o'clock should be a good one. Triads last shot only shot at winning a state championship this year. At least they got some in the spring second football season this year because of the pandemic where Grimsley hi took care of business and others to care business to way back when, but this season it comes down to Dudley talk like a crazy person you have sexually transmitted crazy mouth. Your USGS boards. This is why we tell you to consider your source.

Five things at five. We said there were Rob Wertz that Dan Lanning, Georgia defensive coordinator was going to be the head coach of the Oregon docs, according to two of the best reporters on the Oregon feet right now they're being told they have not made a higher and that those reports are untrue will continue to follow that if there's anything else to add. We will bring that you but right now we chat with Darren Gant who joins us. Hall of Fame boater for the Pro football Hall of Fame Panthers.com as the Panthers get sent off the binder face the Atlanta Falcons. I actually want to start on the Hall of Fame front though because it's always a fascinating process for me it's something that you know we have interest in. Last week the 26 modern-day semifinalist. I guess a couple weeks back were revealed and working to get the final 15 next month, then it's good to be the five inductees announced the weekend of the Super Bowl. Give me a sense for what the process looks like.

In between these announcements of 26 to 15 25 how it all works when you're trying to induct the Hall of Fame class. Well I bayoneted it in the past 12 I made the practical bit different. After COBIT they turned our meeting with the millwright for the Super Bowl at euro it was generally the Saturday ball. It became a virtual meeting a couple years ago I that, the format for now little will happen before the Super Bowl, but there is a reduction boat and and what happen right now is you got a lot of people do a lot of importing over a lot of documents and a lot of testimonials and a lot of that is retracted.

There are couple guys who make an interesting conversation right now. You have heard the euro bill special team is a semi finalist and the guy never really been in the room to get that discussion as part of final.

15 but I find him interesting. I think there's room in the hall or the best guy to ever do fill in the blank really whatever fill in the blank happens to be there and I think he is the guy certainly that was among the greatest special dreamers all that where that becomes a problem is when you get in a conversation like a kicker Morten Anderson goes in the Hall of Fame you got no problem with Morgan Anderson because he got most of the things we camp which is point but there's a problem coming because Adam Bennett.

You can retire will at some point you to be done, and on that ballot.

At some point better kicker. So yeah while Ray Gallegos is the only partner I mean near decent statistical argument that their partners better than Ray guy. It's a fascinating process. As always, but have a lot of tough decisions to be made coming up soon.

There's a lot of receivers to sift through to see you break through that logjam you look at all those first-year guys like like Smith, like Andre, Jonathan, you know, there's a lot of traffic there and in obviously is as we talk about or Samuel meet Sam's going in his final year of eligibility of the modern candidate. So always fascinating process with a lot of realistically about list of 20 names faith that I mean, there's probably no fewer than 20 that I would look at that yeah got all their account with us here on WSJ as sports. You talked about Steve Tasker being a semifinalist and that's a name that's been been bandied about for a very long time, considering how good of a special-teams player. He was when that time comes for cam Newton. Assuming something big doesn't happen between now and the end of his career that the best is already happen for him is he going to be viewed like a Steve Tasker type of somebody who is the best at a very specific thing. Or is he going to be graded like other quarterbacks, I think you know cam Newton and you heard me say that unicorn is the greatest Russian quarterback we've ever seen play football and Lamar Jackson is not finished. The continues to play like this for another 10 years may where having a different conversation but cam has done things no one else is done and and to me that one of those big bright line things is if somebody got 150 factors somebody thrown XYZ your unit when you hit certain benchmarks we have that is one I don't know how he will be received by others. I said, and I believe that I maintain prior to him coming back Carolina man never throws no football. I think all pavers simply because got more rushing touchdowns in any quarterback after he's got more games with MRI a lot more than anybody else. It is 30 more touchdowns than whoever is second right any got more games with the rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown than anybody in the NFL anyway ahead of a guy named Steve Young who second on that list and certainly any Young was a better pastor.

There's no debate about that but cam I think occupies a special place in the permanent football and so I think there's you know that me is what the Hall of Fame should be about it with people who create the stories, the people who know made the highlight people you want to see. I have always had some degree of problem you start talking about is although I do think there's a place for coaches in the Hall of Fame, but the contributor category get to look at you to me. I mean does every commissioner automatically get the Hall of Fame I don't I don't know. I was, not a person who we firm in the belief that Paul Tagliabue should have gotten it created a method to get him in. Without the vote of the full committee voted down a couple of times and now he's in good yeah and I'm sure they'll be a time when Roger Goodale, the move heaven and earth to get Roger in, I'm sure, but it to me it's for the people you want to see you and I can't think of many players in the modern game that's more, you know, eye-opening more. You gotta see this thing can the last decade during Dan. You mentioned that it's down to 26 semifinalist is there anybody that surprised you didn't even make it this far. I noticed say Tony Romo for example, wasn't even listed as a semifinalist after being on the initial ballot. Tony Romo is not a Hall of Fame quarterback. You don't actually believe that I don't believe he is but I do believe he's likable and has numbers that you can spin and that he played for that team which is why am surprised he didn't get at least this far and now I think everybody understand you know it's hard to get in the whole claimant should hardening.

That's what it's all about it and I think no and I cannot get away. I'm not a baseball fan. I used to be. I was the kid who got sporting new Street box scores and I'm not that guy anymore. I have a hard time and part of it.

Because regional sports network issues. Making it hard to see my FEMA preference think they read. I yell I get away from it when I see baseball Hall of Fame named them like really that that's a Hall of Famer. I mean yeah and I know this probably several years back, but when they might hit the public to mean he was good all-time great. I don't know. I mean that I think Holcomb fame should be special and you know or you know some of these guys. Tony Romo is good. I had people ask me locally. I meet when you put together a list of yellow hundred and 40 or hundred 25, where it was really ballot had names like Mohammed like Jordan Grote think of almost on meaning and it's like somebody said are you to vote for them is simple, now I'm not a mean it's nothing against any of those guys had great careers but I think it should be for the truly special people. I think Steve Smith was one of the truly special guys think Julius will be when the time comes.

I obviously pray for you know how I feel about this. I think thing a MILF is and will see you in of the group of 50 people 50 selectors agree with Darren again, but this year from Pampers.com. Let's get to the current team. This is the last time yeah exactly this. This is the last time am going to ask about Joe Brady's Panthers tenure been talking about it all week long.

What do you believe to be the primary reason it didn't work. I don't know. I don't know that it was necessarily a fit and I don't know. I think it was a bold swing by Matt rule came in and wanted to add some passing game legitimate staff. He knew he wanted to get somebody within a bill passing game credentials and certainly have work for Sean Payton. To me that's kind of the model. Everybody wants right any Joe had the resume, but Joe really was put in a position to succeed pro rata reason you know which we talked about a mean man, quarterback, preference. They haven't yet opined that the offense of line through sufficient level to keep quarterback safe on you and Chris McCaffrey been hurt so I do not believe this offense has been yeah bad because of Joe Brady, but I don't think O'Grady would not. And there were things to me and will will fade as time goes on. I don't know if Jeff Nixon anything more than a placeholder before Matt goes looking for another guy to kind of modernize the passing game. But it's not matter if they don't invest in operative believe they are going. I believe that to be the case but I think at the end of the day Joe no one of I don't want to say he's too young.

I don't want to say not capable-talk ball with Joe Brady about conceptual stopping in the history of our plan to stop in just listening to him talk, you know you understand stuff but I think you know, having been through this process. I do also believe that when Joe get his next job and you will get another coordinator job, probably sooner rather than later.

Man interviewed for mom to head coaching job not too long ago. I don't know that that's necessarily in the courts form but just to get a coordinator job and I think you'll be well. I think a better this time. I think it's human nature that when you fail at something when it didn't go the way you want it to. The first time through you learn from that and you develop a believe that Joe is hard enough to take the lessons learned here in Charlotte and and applied in his next up when he does get a coordinator job. Do you think it's in the NFL or college. I think he's an NFL coach. I mean, I get the impression from talking to him in the past, mean these guys. You gotta really want to recruit to get in college and some of these guys who were operating at that really intellectual level. Great ball and they just want to have football practice.

Drawbacks knows like that and I think if you're not committed to that lifestyle and really want to recruit those kind of things college where a man out be not that top businessmen in when you mix in transfer portal and all that kind of craziness I mean it's just hard it and I don't think a lot of coaches want to do that and I and I think rule said that he considers himself in FL coach and that's the that's the life he wants to live.

He just wants to do. Apparently Jason Garrett is one of those coaches that want to do the college.

He went to Princeton on Steve Wiseman Duke reporter told me that he knows that Jason Garrett is interested in the job and Susie Culver who doesn't do a heck of a lot of college reporting tweeted today that Jason Garrett is the front runner. She's told at Duke, which tells me that Jason Garrett told her that that's something that he really wants, which is a fascinating deal to me. Yeah, I mean, I think.

And again I I'm yapping out of my area of expertise and I do not, I will never pretend you have information or knowledge that I not that I don't know what makes a you know I don't know if Tony Elliott would be a great head coach. I mean, I think so.

I graded the claims that but I love the idea that if your and your kind of a niche program you're not in Alabama you're not a Clemson you not Ohio State.

If you're going to succeed at football you gotta work the fringes of society.

You gotta be willing to hire Steve Courier who's doing something nobody else doing an air it out and then you don't do that for a while in and then you go out and get the Manning whispering David calculate who I do not know take a quick but everybody I know in the football business just has nothing but for the and he did a good job so I can keep your thinking.

Do you either got to find somebody not mainstream and maybe Garrett is that guy.

Or maybe you go Ron single weighing on me. Maybe you go you know like Army earth look like that. I mean I think you got to do something outside the mainstream. You're never going to be able recruit me.

Yeah you be able to compete at that level. So you gotta do something different and I think with his experience. I think Garrett would be interesting. I think it would be an intriguing hire. I don't know if it would be a good are not actually see what Jason Garrett did a lot of clapping last thing for you there again with this here.

I want to run something past you that Robert has been preparing us all for the last few weeks and when I heard cam Newton yesterday at something I really took seriously where Tam is saying, in more ways than one.

This is a must win game and quite frankly just to be honest, I'm worried about myself. Having a job Sam Donald's the one that they're already committed to point paying $18 million to next year not cam Newton when Sam is ready to return what happens.

I am not sure when that's going to be is the honest answer. I mean, I don't know Sam can get back on the field this year. I think from my perspective, and this is not yet know sources that mean it can't for cam Newton to see if cam Newton can still be in a fellow quarterback in you know it. I have said before, I thought the situation will with him would be perfect if he needed to come in late 14 there is make a playoff push with a starter something like that. I don't know whether cam Newton can be effective for 17 games at a time, but let me ask effective for seven games at a time, but right going to find out over the next five weeks and my impression is, and I'm kind of operating under the assumption that this deal camp for the rest okay because what's interesting to me is from the Panthers in the like. Obviously for cam that's something that would be great for him, but from the Panthers standpoint, does it do them more good to figure out if Sam Darnall is an NFL quarterback then cam Newton if the season is not going to be a playoff season yeah I am in. I go back on my favorite Saturday Night Live. It was Jesse Jackson hosting back in the 80s and he did again show called the question is moot and asking what Pres. Faith is on the hundred dollar bill might bring in anything? Nobody thought hundred dollar bill, the Reagan Administration that how I feel about this to me and I feel like I am with my own two eyes out on a crack yogurt or working to come back. I just don't know the getting back based on you know the timeline for that injury and in their working numbers out there but I I'm kind of operating under the assumption that the camp for the next five Darren next time we chat will talk music appreciate you spending time with this is always yeah man anytime will talk with you later. They go there again joining us from Panthers.com. Lotta good stuff in there. Robert, after hearing Darren on multiple subjects.

Cam's Hall of Fame case him talking about your theory, which I am intrigued by now.

What you think in terms of the theory. I think what he says makes the most sense, but I couldn't thought this one where the other salmon cam cannot be on the same sideline him as a quarterback for the rest of the year than Sam is not coming back in their names rhyme in the one syllable that makes things difficult coach always rough UK you're worried about the syllables but if Sam comes back to him cannot be there.

There's no side gig for cam which hypothetically there could be, but I wonder if cam's ego would get away with. Or maybe because the wrong word maybe pride wouldn't want him to be the backup red zone 1 yard line QB sneak guy, but I also think if you bring Sam back, wouldn't necessarily be able to evaluate his skills fully because of the patchwork offense of line your star often supplier is and is out either that were using all you see on sale but is only one of those two guys of their pay in next year. So how about they both Sam Darnall tilted to return.

I got away you can figure it out you put Sam and cam in a room and you have play a game of darts and whoever wins that game of darts with the lights off and walks out with less dorsum to wins and put them in a room and wait nine months and that's the best quarterback hiring to make a baby. But why oh there will be an interesting looking baby what Sam doesn't like the biggest noggin I would look we talk so much about quarterback hand size. I would love to see his head size like him all the way around. What is his noggin's diameter what I wanted to ask you who would win a game of darts between cam and Sam that's half sure throws the same would be accurate in the can't get picked off and darts cam cam's play more darts than Sam has picked Sam Darnall when like Doris is also like a cerebral game to because people can go. It's going to game runs just like basketball is words like you can get a couple 20s maybe had a triple 20 year out of it but you still got hit the three bull's-eyes at the end of the game. You still have to clean the board and if somebody gets stuck on one of those bull's-eyes, they must resent ghosts working in would have the opportunity to pull back. Maybe it's a triple 17, walking on the board.

Sam still needs to hit a bulls and cam can walk out of it what we got to the house today mom's who want to be their daughters.

That's what we got on rhinestone cowboy Friday… Let's try Josh scrap on WSJ escorts some good news to send you into the weekend with on this rhinestone cowboy Friday I was in touch with Dick by town, though this week was unable to call a game early in the week of Jimmy V week because of his cancer treatment, but it's been announced by ESPN PR now Dick's going to be on the call number six Villanova at number two Baylor Sunday at 3 o'clock. Can't wait to hear Dick on the call back in college basketball is better when he's behind the microphone what's going to the weekend. No pictures of Scott of the pot however and wherever your listening appreciated law way house women but I think this is the context of a woman who is 48 lives and dates and her 22-year-old daughter in college of 48-year-old Missouri woman has pled guilty to living two years as her estranged daughter and embezzling more than 20 503,000 not great. So apparently she took out the loan in her daughter's name got a credit card got accepted into the University accepted to Missouri under the pretense that she was this her daughter Jade man at this college or I guess you could say young man and basically advances all this money and none of the dudes knew that she was really all believed that she was 22 and I have to call yeah I think longer like coal, whatever the library good enough for me now is my route.
