After that wanted to been enough North Carolina at that point only had one quad one. When if they lost to Duke. You might not of been talking about a NCAA tournament team. So that's number one number two North Carolina probably doesn't have the confidence to pull off the wins they've had thus far.

If they haven't beaten a team we can all agree is one of the best in the nation. The ACC dinner present a lot of opportunities for that this year only five teams made the tournament. North Carolina included other than Duke. The only team North Carolina. His beaten that made it to the tourney this year.

Virginia Tech, that's it. So North Carolina did not know at that point it had beaten a team worthy of being a final 14th until they did. So it Cameron. After that they had to be thinking. If we play this way we can beat anybody in the nation. And they're probably right.

That's the way they look like as a way that they've played. So that's the North Carolina side of it, which I think is obvious what I think is less obvious and people aren't talking about nearly enough. Duke needed a wake-up call like that to prevent with a young group having a Mercer like exit like 2014 in Raleigh or a Lehigh like exit 10 years ago in Greensboro. I've said it many times with younger teams. You are more susceptible to losing two worst teams earlier on in the tournament, then the more experienced groups and Duke is in this position right now because they received an uppercut not in the tournament but right before the tournament began. They were able to get that wake-up call.

They would never admit this, but consider this Duke had four losses going into that game it Cameron. All four of those losses were decided by a combined nine points they lead in all four of those games that they lost in the final minute felt that I had a loss that required them to pick up the pieces after the Virginia game after the Florida State game.

You others Ohio State you can look at things that while we probably should've won that game.

While no margin for error is so great were going to be fine were so talented. We got number one we are first-round rabbits all over the place.

The North Carolina game was the first time Northcutt Duke lost again this year and they truly had to pick up the pieces and look at themselves in the mirror and said we gotta be better. We gotta be better if were going to be a final 14 double-digit loss to your worst rival none none none the less. That had to refocus them.

Both teams needed that Carolina game that Cameron game to get here.

There's. It was not inspiration. They played tight and I don't think they're going to play tight on Saturday is my first thought a lot of pressure, a lot of pressure for Duke in that game to deliver the W coach K, but the flip side of it is.

I've been telling people all week that this is the worst game from North Carolina because now those guys. They went through that game where they didn't perform to the best of their abilities and now they have an opportunity with everything on the line talk loudly really good Barlow everybody is playing better ball the North Carolina. Kentucky was with Anthony David running beat Kansas everything down there in New Orleans in.doc and Villanova, but I did want Kentucky to be what is going to be a really really good fun for like he was in early may be the best ever in terms of the four teams but may have Kentucky was there would've been a blue it's such a devastating thing that Justin Moore gets hurt from Villanova late in the game and like North Carolina.

That's a team that only play seven guys. You gotta think Kansas is a really strong advantage because of that as a coach never look at the injuries because somebody's going to step up on even when it's like your second-leading scorer.

Listen, you can't ever pay attention to it because you pay too much at this into somebody else get lavishly is your second-leading score. He's been big for them but Villanova's will, but trust they have shut the went yes they have a shot to win there was at the woman who was a better shot to win Carolina or Villanova Carolina. You know, because this is one other side to what we haven't talked about Carolina has seen do twice already this in a big part of what I think hurts teams or as her team so far in this tournament. I don't think Texas Tech in the big 12 has seen a team as athletic as do kids and obviously Cal State Fullerton and in the elite eight.

I think it applied as well with Arkansas as good as the SEC was this year. I think North Carolina haven't seen it twice, and not being afraid of the moment, considering what they've already done and Cameron with Coach K on the other side that stuffs invaluable.

What happens is as carless coaches in this game. We get used to playing are 16 or 1820 game schedule in conference play in the style of play within your leak in some time-consuming and yes some of those teams and have them play this talented team is Duke or Carolina. You know like the Big Ten everybody would say that that league is so good, but again airplane that grind it out. That's down. They just haven't seen that in two months maybe play a team like that in our conflict with used to playing the guy that you're playing with Duke and Carolina. Those guys know each other like the back of the hand will be some nerves I was to because of the final for the first few minutes first of the first half, but those guys bumper grout each other year-round school for four years old last two years and played each other a long time to get into specific matchups on the floor. You tell me which ones more important. Armando Bay caught going head-to-head with Mark Williams or every time his name is mentioned on the show that has to play forgot to tell you about Jeremy roach up against RJ Davis, both of whom multiyear guys who have a merge late to be the primary point guard on both the big colt matchup because the kids a bucket.

How many times do you see a guy was really talented and think he's probably not benefit into the culture that were looking for.

You know I like to see guys a lot of trust that you're talking about him not to look over your shoulder because I know I can trust you and that trust is earned. Also what you got. Also look for that in recruiting guys are having fun out there.

I can expect the guys not having fun before yesterday and today have fun when existing want to see guys to passion before they get to the court" because now I know they're going to be able to use that energy for the benefit of our team.
