925. What Will You be Remembered For?

I don't have teachers in here but what we what you teachers what will your students remember about you I can walk through my educational experience to remind myself what I remembered kindergarten I was one of those kids would listen once and still after two weeks they sent me home. I don't know why they call it that third grade I had my mouth washed out with soap because her teacher's name was Mrs. Brader but I did teach the others in the real name was Brader potato today.

I got spanked 1/3 time.

By the same teacher in the same day for running down the hall with my shirttail out Mrs. White Knight in 10th grade was a typing teacher on how she did this and she walked around with a ruler. One of the metal edge were not allowed to look down at your hand. You just type like this if you will she come out like your hands without number about typing a letter grade. His name was Mr. Spain, geometry and trade, but I do remember limiting testing. Why did I tell you all the stories, what will you be remembered for Christian could I be described by someone who is known for the joyfulness. The gladness their singing joyful noise rule shall gladness and sin could some bright shining in the faces joy that can only be seen through your countenance singing as written, and it literally means to what it means okay in the Hebrew so what is it mean to be characterize by singing enjoy. It is he that hath made us and not we ourselves, why should I be characterize by joyfulness singing gladness number one because God made me say together because God made me like a hear you but you have messed on this okay God made me know I'm not smart.

While I have the privilege of the camp director seeing God do this this past here when I found out from the state medical as well as New England down. I cried.

I do know this I do know that Jesus died for Barabbas because he was considering Jesus never sinned, and every single one of us that night. Right now every one of us could take the name Barabbas the Jesus died for us.

I will say I think was eight or 10 of those kids through their hands up to one to trust Christ that night.

By this time I'm sorry I'm trying to say was, and she looked at me and she said, life is but a dream so I know that's a long row row your boat. I like this song better and she said so do I because it has more of God in decigram she said, life is but a dream only saw one more time before she went off into eternity. By this time she sat in a wheelchair would just stare not talk took hands and I remember looking into her eyes because I love this. She brings me okay when my folks split apart and mom left and she took care of me and I'm looking serious is likely condemned tunnels a time and all of a sudden she got real frantic and start shaking. She took her hand away from mine and she said your my people. I was special to her and she was special to me.

Christian God says your my why should I be characterized would enjoy singing gladness God made me God save me hello expresses verse four and into his gates with said out loud into his courts with said praise be thankful one to him, bless his name. Thank God for your salvation every single day walk to the dining hall of your letter going driving, no singing Jesus into never ever ever stop thinking God for saving verse five the Lord is good he really is eating the difficulties that you face.

He would use them to help you to help somebody else. Someday, the God of all comfort comforts us in our tribulation, we can comfort others with the same comfort were comfort of God's mercy is everlasting so I can get to heaven that will now I know I'm what you really didn't know his mercy is forever and forever and forever in his truth endures all so asking what we are friends remember about you you grabber complainer always down life hurt. If you think about the kids are kind of stuck in the house and from the computer screen or iPad. They don't get to be with her friends, and are very lonely day and that's why this past summer, all the emails and the techs how much they miss camp is huge because party getting them away from the normals of life and just getting to a place ALL over the United States and is wonderful Christian camps.

I think you have maybe over 50 that normally come here every fall. Get students to go on work form and on their all great places because were getting them to a place we have a controlled environment extended exposure. The word of God and then obvious extended exposure to dedicated allies what we call the counselors and people say what makes up a good camp while honestly I can say it's not the property and you can have no key property and a not so funny fun time and just okay food you got you got counselors really love the kids really love God and you have a speaker that so loves God and uses his word. You have great we can camp your doctor. He taught us, you could have a good camp in the church parking lot and remembered saying that nice.

It was like seven property was the blinds and waterfalls and all that and then this last summer when the New England they close this down and in New Hampshire and within literally within 24 hours.

My step sibling to go to the kids that and we set up 12 day camps a churches form in Pennsylvania. The other 826 states of New England over 1200 kids show. I saw Sandy many trusted Christ in church parking lots. Now they get some Orange Blossom special and if my nose is running money and 5 pounds opossum and we preach twice to them. I had pizza the first second third fourth fifth. We did have hotdogs a six rally okay and then all the rest repeats again so I'm put enough pizza little bit now but just to be with these kids and and they were so excited just for us to be there and show that we we really care and so camping is a part where we just kinda come in if you know one noted on the sheepdog K pastors and shepherds.

I can buy did the heels and bark and push him back to the shepherd back to the local church and at the same time showing them how excited that we are about God's word and trying to kinda infuse and plant seeds into their heart that they would love the word of God. Well, I you and I both you know you been a Director for many years I was a camp director up in northern Wisconsin and the. The impact of camping on the lives of Christian young people is just absolutely undeniable and hundreds and hundreds of young people who been saved in their in their lives been transformed to that concentration of God's word in one week is it's unbelievable. So do you see this is do you see that this is what people still want for the future, all according to what were seeing a bow through fundraising through letters. I think if we open camp today if we could, number one, the kids want to come number two the parents. They need a break from the kids to send in for a couple weeks and work were seeing that's I trust next summer, 20, 21, would again for all her camps because United States be one of the greatest summers will have and we trust God to do that if he doesn't return that the doors will be opened up in the regulations are such that we can at four weeks the camp yeah the kids we do thing called daily meditations. This is a five-minute Bible study walk into a book of the Bible for teens. Anybody can subscribe to a good rentable.com subscribe to it and I I do you know how many right now are doing that daily because they just love a touch of that memory of being with her Christian friends and being encouraged by the word of God and if even those listen, if you think how many people you know or maybe yourself that actually made a life changing decision that account, it is it it it it's huge it in their lives. We know historically revival has always started among young people and the course one most likely places for that. Take places in a in a Christian camp.
