My family see research length can bring many difficult situations, domestic violence, addictions, poverty and even sexual abuse by your loved ones welcome, Amy, and Q Pinyon. Thanks for joining today you have been to last hate ABA and the today I am telling my hand and Duncan Lally at Bethel high.

I mean, how are you always been great to be here with you. I know the cure isn't always going up every week. He gets better. I know you bring lots of minute information on topics of his godson, shirt without audience. So welcome to your cure. Think he had bet that you know I did.

I do remember that as a little girl I always remember hearing the same that truth will set you free, and doubtless a reason why I actually built my bulk and actually even though I'm a very private person. I do not know any of my life and sometimes he can see a very happy person and not now that they've gone findings in the past, so a lot of people that we may both are shocked to read what they brag by I thought that sharing my story with others and also sharing my success. The fact that I found love the fact that I'm content in life.

I have a happy home in a happy family and unsuccessful successful business.

So all these things is just to show people that women are recipient that we can get through things but one thing that I always came back to they always hot. You know, made the most important was that God was always a constant in my life and even throughout all my struggles. The abuse that I went through the sexual abuse every day, or the physical abuse every day, or the emotional abuse what the rapes are the custody battles or my daughter almost dying every single time I always prayed I always turn to God and I've been fortunate enough that now that I become a public person and I have a website people have reached out to me and wanted it. One of the people that have reached out to me is a very special guest that I have with us today. She will be joining us. Her name is as bad a little son and she is from the date of Christian boys and see she wanted. She came across one day on Facebook. She came across my blog and she was taken quite intrigued by the light title.

Love is the answer. God is the cure and she rode a a a reviewing article.

Yes, you heard an article that's what she does. Hello, I started you with us wall near how are you Amy get a start. They were good. Thank you. You know, one of the things that we've been talking about in this show is you know is you know the things that people go through when, as in waste to you know get over it and you know waste to be there for each other but I start a urine editor update Christian boys Ray yes and you write digital content that's focused on mental health and substance abuse and you elevate articles on self growth and equilibrium in the magazines of UK and even that, and you've dealt with human services and there's a lot of things that you can share with us that you know that we might learn from you because one of the things that I've shared with my audience was that yes I been through a lot of things in life are starting and I have PTSD. I may also be bipolar to the bipolar one. It's quite different that I may be the bipolar two. I'm not sure, but one of the things that I've always made quite you know clear is that it always had God in my life. I always find a way to pray and to try to get close to God and live my life according to Jesus teachings and hasn't gotten to know you. I see that we share something like that in common. I know that you talk to me about reading the Bible which you like to share something about that with us how you been able to overcome anything that you been through in life.

While all my fault my uncle and I can't go home and all I know got a healer and why your title of your book. Love is the answer got a really related because I find that all my mental health.

All I've been diagnosed about eight years ago. Bipolar order to, and I find that not by complying with my treatment have been my state and the way I got it. Toward God Almighty goal because I really believe in the hope in Christ you will you know when all hope is gone when you see nothing else for you to hit rock bottom. And there's no one else to turn to. Sometimes people come to the conclusion. The only thing I can do is turn to God, give it all to God turn it all over to God and it is an achievement in life no matter what you go through God has a funny way of turning a bad thing into a blessing.

For example, and you're a wonderful person, Astarte, and I'm sure that your life experiences have made you a stronger person more understanding person and you die you are here speaking to me because it's like to help others and I think that's a very good quality to have acquired in her book, and I know I will follow later that it takes a lot cool, really broken and got everything you like.

If you're (you know, and I think it's great that you've written, and I think it's great that you speak openly about her story so others can also be encouraged and I'm glad that you also know got a healer because I got a very important in the healing path that not only are significant.

We are nothing without without that experience with God. Without that open relationship that God provided for you know and you know I I became a Seventh-day Adventist when I was 18 and we keep the fabric and the testimony of Jesus started on carbon. A lot of what you're proud of and you know always been that way throughout my conduct trajectory as I expected quite you know I live in a kind of left the church for years, but in real life. I have the most.

Recently, better you know you better watch what you Lord you know you will make miracles in your life signal is weak and poor people work every negative one that's been witness to that in my life now. I wouldn't say that I'm a very religious person, I barely go to church and have a Bible but I don't open it. That one thing I do do is pay the rosary and I found this rosary on Facebook. I wish I had a way to share with others because it's an amazing grocery video that play song in between the prayers and has like a little story kind that puts me like in the meditative state that I do feel closer to God when I do pray for us and sometimes he know there are times because I do suffer from depression and PTSD for sure that I was diagnosed with bipolar two because my depressions were more severe than major depression and one of the things that I realize when I was you know diagnosed with depression was that when I was very very very down and I just you know, and sometimes the players felt empty and I didn't really feel God in it doesn't always feel right.

You don't always see the reward or the blessings right away. Everything happens and it's good time and that one of the things that I would do once my Rosie video would be over on Facebook than other posts would come up and the email then God was sending messages in different ways in different posts through a song that he shared on Facebook like the song, her faith by chairing in a Christian way and this really move me one day. Give me strength leave me now when you when please see when you bring many situations the mystic violence addiction poverty and even sexual abuse by your loved ones. The issue is not spent either to overcome all obstacles and show that with the love of God, your husband and your family.

You can succeed. Love is the answer. God is the key word reveals from a very sincere and honest position. We call those life a warrior who didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life.

You can get to know more about her at her story on www.godisthekeyword.com or buying her book on Amazon.com know we continue with daily cobble in the two on the welcome back so N this is to show the I'm doing today though, who said colleague of mine and those that editor date to assemble voice. Astarte is still with us. Are you right here and how did you like that song is studying and ready for the break we were talking about things that people go through you know there's difficulties in life and this challenges in life that the main objective is to know that God is a concept he's always there. He Nevers abandons you, he's always with you, you could always turn to him to find a way to cheer you up.

Even if you don't see it at the moment. At the very moment all great and her so even goal. Hardship and E. Although God hold onto Jesus, but all we can all actually going mental health and mental illness.

Tuition know we could do the bare minimum. Even if you comply with our treatment, even if one were about Christian where your depression with your body. When I called all of bipolar and you know I find that the high way you'll know your your your cycle and bipolar you're here a bit excited and boring and you get a question I know you made or you made while more.

Although they you have to get old journaling is good away from the kind of work.

And where I want to goal because he can have a normal life because not everyone is perfect and even sold not mental illness. You know nobody from things happening that's life. We are always faced with challenges. Life is a learning lesson for most of us yet and probably you hold called the leader and banished the umbrella of living translation look good but a and you know covering the occasion.

I like old people want regular plot problems with your notes, I say always be kind and be kind to everyone, because you really don't know what they're going through what their life is like, and for me it was mostly chronic depression and it doesn't have to be a reason or rhyme it just I would feel bad I was still depressed.

No reason at all, but I learned to take things one day at a time.

I realize that things don't last forever, I realized that God does not give us anything that we cannot handle.

I realize that God is always accessible and he'll find a way like my kid will jump on top of me, or do something funny. I'll forget about it. I'll get my mind off the thinking negative and believe it or not I'm a very very positive person. Most people will tell you I will always find the good in everything. And I would always make everything fun and I was. I always think in a positive way that depression can be quite debilitating. It does change the way you look at the world and the way that you see things and how you feel and I did not know that feelings were so important that they are that one thing that I discovered that just like you found it therapeutic to journalize, I discovered that it was extremely therapeutic for me to write my book and to be able to even though I'm a private person to be able to finally give it a talk about this something that most people consider a taboo that nobody want to talk about.

And because it's. It also accompanies mental conditions and people have the wrong idea about people with mental conditions, were not the murderers or the bad people or the people that don't make you know, we may make decisions on impulse and be a little too happy or you know by generally look at people because we suffer, and I believe that people who suffer are generally good people because they learn to appreciate life and to appreciate others much more what you think and victim well and I know you've been going through difficult times and I heard the story of our guests right now what I hear that she's gone through mental lesions on. I remember my cardiac arrest year ago, but I started to have panic attacks. I started to feel from depression. I started to feel on society and I never felt like that before, on, I started with medication because the first thing that happens your emergency room your live on. Thus the forcing doctors to start prescribing, you know, I remembered that it was like 34516 months. I didn't know what to do because I was going through old Bob situation.

He was hard for me was the first time I feel depressed in my life.

I feel inside my life I felt to get back to my life on is what God I'm going through such a difficult situation. How could I overcome these because their prescribed communication on taking medication are nothing happens. I feel worse on that I started you know, asking God to help me because I was in such a bad situation for the first time in my life… I need your help because I know with your help I will be able to overcome all these situations and thus we will that's why I believe in your book I believe and what you wrote, there in all your story because I know God is the answer.

I love you secure love is a gift that is the answer right answer. Got a secure right after a few programs I missed it all right but I know the hope God help me to recall or help me to do now to see live in a different way not been a Christian for the last 12 years. Somehow I does believe in God but I never saw that I would go through it up to Twitchell it up with a cardiac arrest, I was practically dead. You know I was resurrected two times in the emergency room after all. 222. No, I think I because I will I know he's love not know he was my answer was know what what saved me. What made me see live now in a different way to help me overcome all these panic attacks on depressions on everything while God has been a great guiding tool for me because first of all, when you believe in God in a higher being than you have hope and there's hope for a better tomorrow for a by brighter future. And you know that God all things are possible even when you don't think it's impossible. I've accomplished many great things in my life that I never imagined I would accomplish. I was supposed to be the homeless one and one that would make it the one that nobody wanted to know was scared to know I was the one that people thought was most broken. The funny thing is, six years ago. I have written the book the death of the Cuban, who was born again. Another time I was just telling my story of how I became a Christian and everything under six years later I went through it all through the process of guiding a big resurrected as a wall while my debt. I wrote something like broad rule.I declare that six years ago about broadly helping to meet in a different way on those the strong hard thing for me to face me the did you hear what this man said he actually died and came back. You know what he's talking about it I that I know that firsthand experience know you all die, but why oh why I'm here and that you know all we feel production entitled covering what they were going to create working and the will of God, you know, we should try to follow the will of God more will become a problem, create some sort of ship that quite you know anything we go back up problem should ship to you reading their my good luck if you really want all you really want to know God. You should read in the Bible yeah yeah you read. You know, comparing it for anything. After you really like the you know well and all you know all small-town Georgia girl right and all the circumstances that I and and I'll try to kill him and how got home and I killed like amazing and… My love for the Bible. The Bible overcome life. I started reading the Bible a year ago January 2012 the beginning of the year for many years but it all and we were thinking Monica and prayed the Lord and believe me you know you are so you will know the Lord and in the Bible.

People love the Lord and God come up short. Just like we all have rights that I passed when God is working within me. I didn't always have healthy coping coping ways. I used to have unhealthy ways to cope and I went down and aspire one queen until I found my way back to God and I know that God is working within me when I start behaving and doing the things that Jesus Christ taught us. He taught us to love everyone like we love ourselves that ourselves and the other person's shoe treat others the way you would like to be treated. All those values that I think a lot of us in society have lost that I hope will be coming back because I do believe there is a God and in the end everything says well I don't believe that I just met you a start date and he bedded the light of the blue it just happened to be coincidence. I don't believe in coincidence I believe and say everything happens for a reason why and I will hope for many years, you know, I want and drinking red. You know all of you.

I number the Lord. I will I will and I will not want to.

I started and… God you know my life that I love about all other bowel. While I like what I know now I identify all to think that way and for those who are just listening and joining us. I just wanted let you know I enjoy making that the historic Taylor speaking about, you know, things that people go through in life tragedies, things that may go wrong, you may suffer from depression.

You may suffer from bipolar whatever other men mental condition you may have by sight.

Medications and therapies that are available that only worked to a certain extent.

We want to make people aware and empower people to know that the strength is within them because everybody has gotten them and they can always turn to God and if he would like to call our number is 305-541-2350. You can share with us your story or if you have any questions for us. Again, that's 30130554123502E mystic violence, addictions, poverty and even sexual abuse by your loved ones you choose not stay there, but to overcome all obstacles and show that with the love of God, your husband and your family.

You can succeed. Love is God is the keyword reveals from a very sincere and honest position in Cabo's life, a warrior who didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life. You can get to know more about her at her story on www.godisthekeyword.com buying her book on Amazon.com know we continue with daily Cabo and the two guys thank you just love love that will come back to the show. This is your if you're just tuning in, I'm your host Amy Cabo and this is a ADA and that is you can listen online on 880 the past and download that and listen from anywhere and here doing today by his bed and I start to my special guest is that it served a Christian voice and also guys don't forget to call our phone lines are open for any colors that would like to call the numbers 305-541-2350. So what you think a start date. What you think about it. No, I just wanted to ask you what you think about, you know you Vince deal with so many different people in so many different mental conditions, and I wanted to ask you what you think is going on in the world today. Do you believe that people have learned to turn to God, but the believe that we need a little bit more God in our lives, because when I started this I started as a way to empower others to show them that you can go to tragedies and still make it okay.

I mean, unbelievable tragedies and still be okay as long as you had God I wanted to empower others with this important to equip themselves with God and to know that they continue with life and that's why I started this show and I wanted to know what your thoughts were on well when I was diagnosed with bipolar like now you're a weirdo now you're no car, and one other thing that really helped me is that I where I kind of grew money so I jumped up for anyone but me and I felt I didn't have much friends or social life, but yet I started court others that were also bipolar and I just wanted to make sure to mention me which of the national creation of multiple owner and they have a lot of work with each of your cities and all support of hearing others going to anything you're going to help so not in Miami is actually a very greater Miami Oracle going on all that really help and even with a total of one point like I could find her. No one you know and I would but I will go to the social work soul socializing a good quorum. If you're struggling with social anxiety for good conduct with others. All you know the ground in the mental health you will connect with others.

You know, even if you don't have the life all good blog. I would like to mention our bipolar Burkle Tracy okay it all all she should marry her very clear about the in and out because we are all different and we all my heart, but the Almighty deal with it. You know, you think your you know you you're very kind and he want to be around others or the church in worship because I want to be withdrawn. You know I want to you know so you know what time but like I told you got should perspective and thought and I will pray article meditate on the word of God, and he should my perspective that he employed other Mike talk sometime when you become a social or personal your own personal thing you know when and where it flexion on on your own fault. You know, and I encourage or encourage or encourage any type of way to connect with others because it'll help you ground boundary and understanding that you will be all global but when you know you know if you want. The other story and hear people experience so I'll follow we can be easier for one another. Isn't it wonderful that God has given us an opportunity in the heart to want to help others and you know we both, long way. We may have gone to different experiences or the source may be different but the symptoms are pretty much the same for all human.

We all bleed red. We are hurt the same. We all need God.

We all need each other. We need to try to be as open and honest and learn to let go there to see the truth will set you free and you notice know that you can always make it that nothing lasts forever that things only that everything will pass. And that's the main thing that people hold on to hope that they know that there's that their life is not hopeless that they know that there's a bigger picture. There's a bigger idea and that's the thing that I want to bring to awareness that people. People are open on the ground, even a little word here and there. I you know all there are people like water because know so many things going on world.? You know anything going on world but need for you and why you know I lighter. I'm very birth pile, and at one point, I write erotica and the Lord convicted soul body that now we hear later. I can't be my diagonal Mike years ago now, eight years ago my writing. I will I make Mike. Something that I like you positive my love and appreciation for my dream would be pooled to all, just like you know but I'm being patient and am slowly writing chapel or the many life right now. The fact that life you love, anger, joy you know and and and Kino all write some poetry for each fire soul you know you all understand that his work in progress. She's not real quick. You know about or back that we play pool real God is the day we don't react in a way like okay now about what I want and all he wanted to keep walking want to describe even more more. But of play believe that God will my journal today.

I go back in and pleading and begging for something and I go back to clear his arm a little chaotic. You will update 11 918 update. You know you got this. Lori thinking to work of God in your life and apply my journal another support group you know all thing I wanted to mention before we got out of time and I got my peeler. I finally got the weight was old on medication you know I just stop taking my medication I take them but I now you know I knocked and hunted for both don't want to be medicated and yeah it's important to take your medication and the mental health. Now it's it's a very difficult thing to talk about and a lot of people have hard time in a really appreciate you a start date that you're willing to talk about what you're going to do in your challenges and but it's important to always keep in mind that you should take your medication medications are for a reason, but also know that not the cure all. There is no no magic remedy that scan a look at all the way. There's no medication that's going to make it better. You can self medicate with alcohol or you can self medicate with drugs, but that's a temporary fix.

That's temporary happiness that doesn't last.

There's not there's no substance and not I know that I eat when I'm happy with myself when I'm behaving in the way when I'm doing the right thing when I'm being kind to others when I'm being patient when I do the right thing and I'm happy with myself that's for you happiness because you know that as long as you're doing your acting and behaving in the way that Jesus taught us to behave. You know that you are following in his footsteps and you're getting closer and closer to him were complying with treatment developing really helped me a lot. I think all of my therapist, you know that I have gone through the years and I might hire Chris for time. You know and and really help me navigate my movement trying to put me on the right medication opens up very important to know about the special people in our lives that love us and put up with us all while you want to go there by God is good, so I'm telling you my husband is a saint violently has so many things to cover so much information to cover and was sorry we didn't make it to all the questions that I really wanted to ask you. After all, we only have an hour and lay you know we talked about very very important things in here that the think you very much for coming with us and sharing your story, your personal story of perseverance and how God pulled you through a very difficult time in your life. Unbelievable that you almost died and came back.

That is a great story to share, and I think it's important that we do share our stories with each other so that they can. We can also see that we made it that there is more strong people that it is possible and whatnot. I closed and I say amen situations domestic violence addictions, poverty and even sexual abuse by your loved ones. The issue is not stay there, but to overcome all obstacles and shouldered with the love of God, your husband and your family. You can succeed. Love is the answer. God is the key word reveals from a very sincere and honest position troubles, life didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life.
