Bible Wonders - GUARD YOUR HEART

Bible verse I am going to take a look at Proverbs or 23 through the end of the chapter as it seems like it all goes together when you look at it in context of a big extremely helpful in the days that we are living in Proverbs 423 you're probably aware, I hope you are that it says keep your heart with all diligence for out of it spring the issues of life, but very cool gives you some ways to do that right after that, it says, put away from you, a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you. In other words, don't listen lies get away from it is trying to deceive you. Says let your eyes look straight ahead and your eyelids look right before you is very cool to look about in Hebrew and allowed to say that and move on.

So verse 26.

Ponder the path of your feet and let all your ways be established so that's kind of what were doing is were wondering pondering the path that were to take says do not turn to the right or the left and remove your foot from evil. So here's some instruction from a very wise man Solomon on how to guard our hearts, because, as we fall into somebody's evil scheme at Windsor heart or if we believe there lies again, you're dreaming of the enemy because those things are lies, or if you choose an evil path. Your heart gets caught up in the hat and so Solomon here is trying his best to give you some perfectly wonderful advice on how not to get entangled and so when it says keep your heart right there.

I think the word there is, critical to the whole idea of how to guard our hearts so I looked at in Hebrew and I'm course of got this in the notes of the podcast so the word is not server which has to do again with faith that that and then the sound is a non-at and it has to do with faith. It has to do with the seed so you got something that you know if you think about a seed it's pretty tender right there in the ground and interestingly the next letter is asthmatic, which I love that letter because it's like a tree that's reaching for the light she got this little seed. That's reaching for the light and then there's a race which means the head of something or in this case, you know, taking charge of making sure that your faith looks towards the light. So if you're just looking at light, you're actually keeping your heart to soak what we see later is all the things it would take you down dark paths. Specifically, perverse speech, so when you know you're listening to new say for example, and you know it's full of lies. While I mean it's pretty hard to protect your heart. So again, where can we find all the light that we path where we can we find all the study that we want to find it's in the word of God. So take our faith. The general seed have looked towards the light and used that as the head of how to protect our hearts. Pray with me that we will guard and keep our hearts
