Now the orange book, but by God's book, the Bible called the Kristi Garg I would your questions. 1866 34 truth. That's one 866-34-TRUTH 7884 is being a Christian have to do with buying a car you're about to find out.

Here's your host Robbie Gilmore what is your plan for parking this holiday season, or what is your backup plan. What's your backup plan for parking help this holiday season. How you keep your religion in the parking lot where you don't use pepper spray or painters.

Black Friday was yesterday and I know you have that holiday parking store you want to get off your chest with all the holiday stress.

The last thing you need is some guy cutting you off that Primo parking spot so what's your backup plan calls today, 866-348-7884 we got lines open.

We love to hear from you on Christian car. I show how do you beat the holiday parking stress less your solution. 866-348-7884 is the number to call if you know those parking stories you know your opponent to Walmart on that Black Friday morning and there was glistening in the morning like the perfect spot right in front of the front door you wanted to go and then write when you major move from nowhere came a little mini Cooper. It's Lieut. cut you off and you saw that smirk on his face as he was leaving you to fume having to walk miles miles to get into the store call us with your holiday parking politeness and parking 866-348-7884. And speaking of parking lots were alive this morning we are doing this swap your turkey for jerky of event at the Pavilion Christian supply appear on University in Winston-Salem.

I know you may not be here with us in Winston-Salem. If you're here. We got an amazing that we got Wake Forest tickets are planned they were to give that threat to everybody that that walks up while we have we have a limited supply with, and whoever gets here quickly got festival lights tickets, rejoice tickets.

It's a great time. We got free donuts. Oh my word so speaking of parking lots. Right now I'm looking out over a big beautiful one that needs your car in it and and and you won't even have to you get the primo spot. I can almost assure you just display right up here, so we are alive today at goings Christian supply and were so excited at what they're doing because what's happened is if you bring in canned goods. They got that Winston-Salem rescue Mission is good before feeding 4000 family members of the West… And rescue mission whether reaching out to people in the community who are homeless and they need food for this holiday. So if you bring in your canned goods or jerky. The troops did the or foundation they found out that that the troops that are deployed overseas. There number one requested item is beef jerky because they can put it in the pants pockets. They can carry that when they're being deployed. And guess what they can retried in there and have a meal. It taste good and you should see the testimonies are unbelievable. People get this jerky deployed overseas are right now are asking swap that turkey that you know you were asking a stop cold turkey out there and bring in that jerky. We've got plus you get to meet the Christian Car Guy I mortgage can have a blast appear so we want to mention that today, but also, today we have some slick advice for cold-weather oil.

What about cold-weather oil from our Christian oil.guy Mike Westwood in San Antonio. Good morning Mike, good morning and well happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you like I can assure you it's out of the warmer there in San Antonio than sit out as part lot about I'm on feel the Christmas spirit, no doubt because I'm seeing all these people giving way. It's in London I have for today running and your oil if in our art winter make driving easier for your automobile right so what about what you do with your oil and cold-weather. That's what Mike's can help us out with this morning. Then in our appraisal by the real black book has connected the end of the show. That's where we search the Bible for hidden treasure.

Cry out for discernment, lift up her voice for understanding your holiday parking attitude. It literally it may stink in your dear oil.

It has if you ever smelled your oil. I know my kids is that is no good visit know it. It has it unbelievably repulsive smell. Well, if you've ever smelled it really can ever get that smell out of your mind. If you get it in your backseat. You'll never get on that either. Well, that's just a little taste of hell really.

Yes, that is, brimstone is sulfur that they add that gear oil to make it stink so bad. So can you imagine the stench of gear oil to the millions degree and holiday parking, parking, maneuvering going on times about a billion and all that for eternity and that when you get that picture it's more than horrible and you and I but here's the problem.

We might have love my loved ones that are headed for that scenario not only to have the stink. Yet the tension you have everything and weeping and gnashing of teeth. But transversely. What does heaven smell like. Well guess what, the good news is, the Bible does give us some clues on what heaven smells like an not not only does it smell please God, but it draws the nations like a flower desperate be and birds and bees are certainly in the song of Solomon, along with the sweet smell of heaven and that's coming up to the end of the show in our appraisal by the real black book hi, I'm Robbie Dimmer Christian card 35 years in retail automobile business, but more importantly your brother in Christ, the Christian car – I always change the way people to their cars.

They need to be paid for no debt.

They need tender loving care they need a name like old red. Think about it.

You see the tractors they been out the elements since the 1940s while you think there still running well if you take care of your car at last as long as you do cars need to be safe and driven safely. Yes, wear your seatbelt. It's an amazing thing that some like 80% of the fatalities last year happen from people who were not wearing a seatbelt. So it's it's a pretty simple thing you're increasing your survival by 80% and strap yourself in and they don't speed if you truly following Jesus.

He's in the car ahead of you. It's estimated that Americans waste 96 million gallons of gas a week on speeding and this is a live call-in show, so you can cause with any of your questions of you that will question today is a great day to call Scott Mike Westwood. Here he is certainly an oil expert modules, motor oil, transmission fluid you know any type of lubricant 866-348-7884's number. Call in with your question 86634 truth and of course today. What's your backup plan for holiday parking. How do you keep your religion in a parking lot. What is it that you do when you pull up.

We'd love your solution or maybe you got that story you want to share. We have lines open. We'd love to hear from you.

866-348-7884 and of course we also imagine you can get all this information@christiancargo.com WW W.Christian card.

I.com as well as we now have a new article indexers hundreds literally hundreds of articles, including the article that Mike wrote this morning on you know slick tips for winterizing your oil, you know, I miss that one that again hundreds of articles everything from buying a car Christian living.

It's all there@christiancardi.com but today holiday parking tips. I know that your sit there wondering what can I do to keep my religion in the parking lot. We got Karen in Raleigh to see Karen what if you got force Karen on the Christian card I good morning.

I I am about parking. I will and I will rat around eight in front of me out and move on up. Ali was praised very involved in that. Karen where you where you are now the best that primo spot. I don't know about that… Caravan outlining a friend of Matt. He completed it okay as medically experience.

Thank you God bless you that since that's an interesting question. Is there some of those shade tree mechanics that that would that I would certainly trust that. But others will we were to take that question on indefinitely. Come back. We got my keys had an opinion on that. I'm sure course. We need you to come up here and swap your turkey for jerky were given jerky to the troops. Candidates for the Winston-Salem rescue Mission for the Winston-Salem area come by. We got all kinds of goodies to bless you with and it holiday with your holiday parking to 866-34-TRUTH what is your backup plan for parking. This holiday is how do you keep your religion in a parking lot the day of our guys show. Also some winter tips for your oil.

We got some slick winter tips for your oil coming up again today.

We are live out here and go interest in supplying Winston-Salem that we are having a big canned food drive for the Winston-Salem rescue Mission and beef jerky for our troops or asking to swap your turkey for jerky. We got all cut giveaways. We've got hot Krispy Kreme donuts.

We got like forest tickets just for walking. You bring your jerky or bringing your canned goods. We got tickets to the Tanglewood Festival of lights all sorts of stuff make your way up here on university writing. This includes parking lot. We are swapping your turkey for jerky today, but will we left our hero Karen Wright, Mike. She was talking about. Should we allow a shade tree mechanic to replace a EDR valve in her caravan better caravan has a check engine light and she needs to get state inspection so it's not gonna happen in order to get a state inspection i.e. she needs a EDR valve. What's your opinion Mike would be apparent how well I know I know they work hard someone that I don't know how I go to a reputable plate now one of the big issues always with that let something like that work on your car that a lot of consumers may not be aware of is there insurance issues that what if your car catches on fire. Shortly after this repair because EDR valves your mental stuff that would do that and you know what kind insurance might they have earth are working on your brakes and in the center things they don't have any product liability insurance and so they're not really covered where if you take it to reputable person.

Yes, it may cost you a bit more but your coverage is extensively better but is far as whether not replacing EDR valve is all that difficult to repair the answer is in on my list of things to do. I would certainly much rather have them doing that then then in a working with the computer system or something right might like a good point about concurrent but I hadn't thought of and I've known people that had that happen around in the cold there insurance. There is neither an there's either even believe it or not I have heard the stories were somebody is working on your car under a shade tree.

They did some and got hurt badly and I mention stuff that I might do that on the air. It's it's the day after eating all that cold turkey are all the things it can happen when somebody's working on your car's mission.

EDR valve they get hurt.

And guess who they see added.

Inundate themselves and so those are all issues like you say you need to know that person really well if it's a family members and work on your car forever. I understand you know I do that stuff myself.

But, you know, if it's not, you really do need to protect yourself and there's a reason that for those labor rates that you gotta pay because those guys that have an you know they've got a have product liability insurance.

I got a have their own insurance and they got have all licensing and you know the different bonds that they have to post in order to be a business right might Be corrected by you when I get my copy that you have been current everybody. I literally one time I give rings observe this not funny but it was Ernest Valenti now is sure wasn't at the top that, for whatever reason Jeep at one point in time had these wheels that you had to be real careful when you put the lug nuts on or the date they kinda came away from the hub and you know your lug nut for tight. Well, there was a lady literally pulled out of our parking lot and this this is not that the Chrysler started that I was part owner of that when I worked at before that and she pulled a lot of our parking lot as she did her right front wheel went on down the road without her. Fortunately, there was no accident, but it was a pretty exciting event that ended.

You know it's one of those things that you know even the best of the best can make mistakes when they're working on your car, and so I think that's a great question Karen again. It's a great ask your question. If your synergy. I've always wondered about this. You call us this morning. 866-34-TRUTH 87884. Your list of the Christian card I share with Robbie. No more.

Today we have Mike Westwood. He's our Christian oil geyser. If you have an oil question, a lubrication question. Some about transmission fluid great data. Ask 8663 for 87884 and again being the day after Black Friday all the pepper spray and sins and stuff that's going on and I would love to hear what's your solution for holiday parking on me what it what do you have a game plan to make sure you don't lose your religion in a parking lot but moving on to the winterizing your oil Mike. What do you suggest people do to take care of their oil in the winter because it's different when things get cold out here can get it for oil.

Before the winter will renew again. Most conventional oil, wax or paraffin in Pickens up when it gets cold so if you want conventional oil I change to a lighter weight, but it is a synthetic oil of any brand out there for the winter because it will allow the engine, transmission, and rear differential to turn over Mike will also provide extra fuel economy during the winter times and the Langston's is instituted religion. The further explanation. A lot of people don't realize that you know any petroleum product has paraffin in it.

If paraffin is wax Mike. I found that out the hard way. One time I sold my father-in-law a diesel pickup truck before Jim knew they had to have few line heaters and even diesel fuel has paraffin in it and guess what happened is his fuel line waxed up and I got this call first thing in the morning.

It wasn't pretty. It wasn't pretty and all but can you imagine and in one of the things that you that you mentioned in your article I think is so telling that you're actually differential the way that that's lubricated is that the oil has to literally splash up different services so how in the world.

Could it splash document dearly better not talk about your motor oil but we talk about the gear lube that smell so wonderful it's in your differential how the world is heckuva splash up if there's paraffin paraffin in it right right might look like corrected net. I tell people the most effective increased fuel economy dearly been changed to a good synthetic. It will allow it splash and you still getting The same weight same protection needed with that conventional and that's what old red is got some Amsoil right there be in both because I have dearly been both my transmission is it's a manual transmission and Amsoil gear lube in both my transmission and in the in the differential. It makes me feel good when I wake up and it's, you know, 2° out here in I got a go out and get an old red that I'm not can it be hurt wonderful feeling to know that you have a competent in your vehicle and your motor oil you know when we talk about this now. I don't know if you ever had the opportunity to snow dearly.

That smell is held to it.

There's no doubt about it. I mean that when when the Bible talks about brimstone and whatever. I'm on San Sodom and Gomorrah got the good smell of motor gear lube you are more slick and winter chips. We got to hear from you about those holiday parking since he did from you. 866-34-TRUTH 87884. Remember were out here slopping your turkey for sure did bring in jerky freeway for tickets to Sam's Club shopping center out in University. What is your backup plan for holiday parking talk about today in the Christian card I show you what is your tale of little what what what was the parking spot that you are to get in though.

Or maybe there's some else that happened in the parking lot.

Or maybe you have the solution for all is what should we do to make sure we get caught up in that trap you causes morning, 866348788486634 and we are alive today from billions Christian supply out here in the call with on the north side of the building where there is no sun wearing Armas earmuffs and if that's the case may be swapping turkey for jerky. Well it's actually happening as we need to bring your candidates we need to bring turkey for the troops that are deployed overseas and canned goods is 4000 family members. A Winston-Salem rescue Mission is helping out with holiday meals and just for brain and that stuff. We got Wake Forest tickets for you. We've got a couple of of these festival of light tickets and and rejoice tickets. The recovery church event that's coming up free T-shirts, all that stuff we donuts warmed on the sentence came from Krispy Kreme hot make you way up University and income join as well were doing this swapping turkey for jerky event. Now, Mike, what we left our hero.

It will we. We got some more slick oil check tips for such winter is not just the gear lube.

It's not just a transmission but your actual motor oil as well. It makes a difference. Probably more expensive difference in anywhere else than absolutely. We have winter weight down to zero 30 Alaska, depending on how cold it were Urey go to the winter weight are, you know, go back to your 530 or 1030 in the summer, but that pressure oil change and clean filter will do wonders for that car getting it ready and sometimes good there so paraffin buildup can be cleared and Amsoil cell set/as well so and that's another thing that a lot of our friends at four step up north and we have some listings up in Canada actually Mike and they use with what you know block heaters for that very reason. A lot of them plug their car in every night. And the reason a lot of people think that they're doing that to keep the block from freezing, but that isn't what block heaters before they might go oil warmed over in the morning start not only start but not like you said, starve the rest of the engine for oil, you know, that was one of the big things in all high-performance engines is how to get the oil warm as quickly as we possibly can. If you see racecars out there on the track you see these big generators in the world are those hooked up. Believe it or not, that's just keep the oil warm because they don't want you know $20,000 engine not to have lubrication of the top of the engine when it first cranks off and so this is a big big deal, and in people understand high-performance right you you deal with fractures all that they doing with the same stuff, Arctic air warming a good synthetic and ovarian card so that we don't have to worry about that oil starvation. That's why we're motor and keeping keeping that good lubricant going only wasted event that absolutely now we we do want to pass on in the some of the holiday parking since that I've gleaned. I as I searched high and low to find every holiday parking to bike and I had the kind create my own from the list.

Quite honestly, I think that everybody would agree that the best thing you can do is to start off with a mental plan that may be a little different now. Parents plan was.

She was in a circle.

The parking lot to she found the ultimate spot, but for a lot of us, that might might take more patients than we have so my recommendation is actually stinger start off with a mental plan of I'm in a walk along way, but I'm in the park very quickly. In other words, I just plan on parking a long ways away so that I don't set myself up for a fall.

I just think well yeah I park out here and take this extra time while I'm walking to have a chance to pray about what it is, under the spend some of God's money.

On the way.

So why not take this opportunity to pray to God be with you on this trip and then he'll give you discernment and what you're doing and also the safety of their the parking lot and I know for a lot of ladies you know you don't want to parking a deep, dark corner of some particular parking lot and so for that reason obviously always want to parking a well lit area just to be a light pole way out there in the parking lot somewhere. Nothing wrong with parking, right, straight on the light pole because if I'm a burglar. Guess which car I do not want to come.

It's the it's the one that's that's right there out there by light pole but the other thing is I say this every single week is a slow down.

Jesus walked everywhere he went, got it all done in 33 years. Will this is huge when it comes to holiday parking because it it just give yourself plenty of time just don't… Don't go there expecting that that you're going to get right in the store and get gone like you normally would. When you go to the mall.

Give yourself a -45 minutes or an hour because you know the parking things gonna be a deal and so why give yourself that extra stress just give yourself some extra time in and make it easier. Another thing that you can really do is turn your lights on as a matter what the weather is. It just makes your car more easily visible because guess what there's a lot of people parking out the other trying to back out and they don't see your car, and whammo right in the parking lot so you know, anything you can do to make your car more visible in the parking lot. Why not turn those headlights on.

And while you're at it, turn the radio off of the cell phones and all the other things that might distract you because here's the big big deal holiday parking that that if we all gotta think about is you got all these excited little kids right there all out there there running around is Christmas time there so excited and they wanted their you know they're anxious to get in the store.

Whatever the date slip the moms handed out. They run right between those two parked cars. That's why got a slowdown. That's why you gotta be at. That's why you don't need to be talking on your cell phone is why need to be paying attention because your ruin Christmas you'll never Christmas will never be the same again for anybody involved if if you don't watch out for those children and and for the ladies. Also, if your little worried walking out there at night. Why not ask a security guard that walk out there with you if you gotta go back out your car and its Parkway out in the mall and you weren't able to park somewhere else, why not ask the security car you know guard to make sure he goes out there will be always a good idea to have your keys ready when you're approaching your car make sure you look in the backseat and all around us to make sure you get me there was somebody, and for that reason always of course I'll lock your doors and windows and what my wife actually always does my is she will always lock her. She'll just take her credit cards or drivers license whatever put it in her pocket and she lock her purse in the trunk so nobody can grab her purse at the same time she left to wonder where I left it in the mall.

She dislikes it there in the trunk and is a good idea to lock all that those kind of things in the trunk so there's some holiday parking tips. Of course, are all their Christian car guide.com got Margaret in Raleigh's got a question for Sun oil force Mike Margaret year on Christian Car Guy ship in morning, good morning, about 150,000 miles and I get to play in garden like account with the quick you'll change the oligarch went bad and that it would not imminent like a waterfall like you should conflict by Mike that's that's that's a great question is going. That's not uncommon for a vehicle with that many miles what I would highly recommend that you run the vehicle when you change your oil that will help clear up those passages, like the oil that can get like our arteries and they get hard and wheeze down and we need an agent wheeze down so much that enough oil can't get through to start the engine and make the engine expire put a cleaner through their clean that up good. Make sure you change your oil manufacturers recommendations.

Using a petroleum class. There are many places on the market. I use these Amsoil personally because it's not so hard and you can get a bit too hard and it will break things loose but not cleaned out what one that gets good and cleaned out and what you want to make sure it is whoever's doing it the correct way. The best sludges are those that had to sit idle with the car running to clean it out when when the cars caught and cleaned it out. Not one you put in and drive around right you just sit there with the car and let it idle and in that answer. Also, this is a great one and also Margaret. The reason why that oil sludge delicacies, newer cars have no heat zones in the oil and it just isn't like the old days where there certain parts engine get so hot they start to sludge the oil and that's the big advantage of synthetic oils near and I never talk little bit about synthetic oils but if you switch it to a synthetic which absolutely requires you to flush the engine. You might want even flush it twice. If you have the sludge problem by switching to a synthetic.

The synthetic stones lunch call with the problem, government department, but I can't think about a problem vehicle using oil presently. I don't want things that were not real bad. Maybe accordingly What I would think been used a semi synthetic as opposed to using semi synthetic. You have no problem didn't go to semi.

Helen got me thinking I was at one time you are doing is giving it a trial run to make sure you have no problem if the dreamer back in claimant can get more time to think that because I haven't had a problem.

Yes ma'am, I can also along those lines, I switched old red 200 and I think it was 220 or something. When I went synthetic and now it's at 320 with no problems and a Kansas run like a dream really turned 320. I was one of the things I was thankful for this Thanksgiving like is it that I want 320 with Amsoil and Aldrin so wonderful.

Thank you God and thank you Margaret.

Great questions to answer all the story I parked in the trunk before the people I'm trying your way around the parking lot and if they think someone put their person to talk people that know how to get in the trunk.

You quickly but not part great advice. Absolutely Margaret, I appreciate that so much I bless you, thank you for calling.making topless you running right, it's time to yeah Mike parking sure we please you come up and you see somebody coming out, you're going to take the parking place twitter directional signal on your telling other people that you're going into that spot so that they won't have a standoff that spot. Well, you know that sometimes works good Mike. There's no doubt but there's other times that that is like. It's like asking for trouble before willing to move under appraisal by the real black book. That's where we search the Bible for hidden treasure. Cry out for discernment, lift up her voice for understanding as we talked about your holiday parking attitude may stink literally in gear oil has note, or if you've ever smelled it but you can't quite a few members know that you can give your mind. I mean it's like it's just us like a little taste of hell.

And yes, the reason it is. That's brimstone and that's kind of give you an idea of what hell is going to smell like.

Can you imagine that smell of the same time putting up with unbelievable aggravation. Whatever God's nowhere to intervene. There will never be a God to intervene and it's it's going to be horrible and there's so many of our friends and relatives that are headed that way if something doesn't happen one day thing we can obviously do is pray for them but one of the things that we can do like a flower attracted be if your life smells good. There is some a little bit more attracted to you and as I was studying again. One of my favorite books in the Bible is the song of Solomon this week. In this passage, I kinda miss the point of it in studies that I've made before it is I read this is the second part of the fourth chapter and and this is the passage where it says your garden locked up.

My sister, my bride your spring enclosed in a sealed fountain.

Your plants are in order for the pomegranates with choice fruits with henna in the hard nard and saffron calamus and cinnamon with every kind of incense tree with murder in aloes and all the finest spices. You're a garden fountain. The well of flowing water streaming down from 11 on 11 awake Northwind income south wind blowing my garden.

That is, fragrance may spread a brown abroad. That's the key part of the of the thing that is fragrance may spread abroad let my lover come into his garden internally tasted terse choice fruits know what is all that mean well, it's a huge thing when you think about it. When the song of Solomon. How can we attract with our smell.

Let's talk about him enough, the next most efficient card I shall we say a time for you probably would have question 86634 truth 866-34-TRUTH 8788. Welcome back to the car radio show and talk about what's your backup and your holiday parking where also kind of in a parking lot here at Killian's Christian supply with a wonderful swap your turkey for jerky event were asked to bring in your canned goods. Bring in your jerky for the troops were up on University of Winston-Salem area were up on University, right in the sand club Sam's Club parking lot behind modern Chevrolet and so we'd love to have you attend to give away free Notre Dame tickets again today at 331 take your son, be sure to bring that up here, but when we left our hero, the Solomon with he was in his garden and he was with choice fruits and I mean things were great and and you kinda wonder if you if you're familiar with the fourth chapter, the song of Solomon how you go from all this amazing love scene to talking about a garden and then about these flowers well is it the more I studied this thing.

The more I realize that you know what, there is a fruit that comes from love. You know it's the fruit of the spirit. Love Joy peace patients, and all those fruits there pretty fragrant.

They smell pretty good when you got a big smile on your face it, it's a lot more attractive.

It smells much better than that for actually wait when you just got cut off in the parking lot, what happened there, that was not smelling good understanding of the other hand, when Jesus gets in your heart and and and he really starts loving on you. Guess what happens there is this fruit that comes in. This fruit is love and joy and peace and patience and kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control.

One of those at Geneva parking lot and the stuff smells good and what other people see that you then just like it says listen this last verse now after all the beautiful love scene between Solomon and his bride. It's as awake Northwind income south wind blow on my garden at its fragrance may spread abroad, guess what it's saying your life. This is being spread abroad. Whether that smells good, or it smells bad.

Here's the thing.

Heaven is going to be amazing because they're given you some ideas of what can a smell like there you're talking about Hannah and argument.

Bernard was the stuff that the that the that the harlot port on Jesus's head that Judas got so upset about that stuff.

List the years wages to get some nard and that's what that work in a smell seminar that there is an cinnamon and incense and murder in aloes. I mean it's it's pretty cool stuff when you think about the God not only cares about how you feel. He cares about how you smell and have you smelling good standing, but we got some people want to chime in on our question about holiday parking.

We got a start off with my mom because you know it's how it's a holiday season so mom your own efficient cargo ship. My many people who fragrance have made my life about how the parking lot to the elderly. We need to go in the morning. You know, we don't work anymore. We can go before the crowd and and I think turning on your life is a wonderful idea and I'm so frightened even back out of the parking parking and diagonal parking because people go without fat and parking and I would recommend that everybody slow down because there are those of us who are immediately reflected and we need to be when they're coming happens to be scared by some of the places he came here mom mom based on your advice.
