I'm always look at what is smart, stop technology well that comes from when people accidentally have their foot on the gas and the break what it's going to do when you apply that break in your foot is still on the on the battle for the gasoline for the format of our map. The break is going to win. It's going to reduce the engine power in the brakes can overpower the the gas pedal. So that's that's a new technology that was put in in some of the vehicles in 2011 an ounce can y'all standard for 2012. Now, and airbags.

You guys are just increasing those like crazy minicamp you have coming has 10 airbags. It has your front side impact your side curtain airbags driver's-side knee airbag passenger new year bag and then your rearseat impact bags for your rear passengers now that's a new technology that came out in the 12 Camry so why why are those knee airbags a big deal. But today I just II just had a customer law for five months ago that I had sold in the lady was in a very clear and horrific car accident and she actually rear-ended someone and the knee airbag and her Toyota Camry actually saved and protected her legs. She had some bruising on her legs, but she she actually saved her. You know from any further damage in her legs with that airbag. From what I understand with the statement built technology in the airbag technology that we now have in place. In summary, cars most car accidents that have really bad injuries happen to people's legs and they have their feet and that technology is getting more and more in all your manufacturers are looking at that rate now all of the minutes start to become a standard feature they could do away a a know some of the safety stuff is you know is expensive to design and put into these vehicles. So I've noticed in some of the Toyota products that they have taken away some things that used to be standard and you know they'd rather include the safety of the vehicles today so one of the things that you know there's a lot of preemptive safety that we don't even think about because of the all the traffic stuff that's coming out on the navigation systems because all those you know a people get into an accident on the way coming into an accident on our people are voiding accidents like never before because the traffic system is telling you there's an accident coming terribly slow down if you know it, but if not to reroute you and you could hear the cloud system all my word of that. That's that thing when you watch the video and again the man will be on from Ford. It even monitors your heart rate so that it knows that. Wow, this guy's heart rate six going up whatever it won't let you take a call when your heart rates above a certain level in interesting stuff like that that that really when we look into the future of the they're really looking out for the thing that really be honest and kind of disturbs me is that the government puts all these regulations on automotive business, but why don't they put him on the cell phone business. The technology is completely in place to tell cell phone manufacturers. You know that cell phone is traveling over 10 miles an hour. It does need to be able to text well I think personally with what Toyota has come out with now and a lot of your manufacturers is your Bluetooth technology where you can link your cell phone to your automobile and you never have to pick up that phone if if somebody's calling you. You can actually take that call just by pushing a button on the steering wheel and now your car if it's an is there a Toyota program where it actually if you get an accident. That's what's it called safety connect safety connect tell us about safety cannot safety connect is if you were get to get into an accident it's automatically going to notify the authorities. It goes right to a monitoring system and the authorities are notified right away so similar to GM's art OnStar, but this is something that that just simply has this one feature that blue there you go yeah your OnStar arming your safety connect you in its rate dairy amine as soon as your Internet exit bang a call right away and that's good. I mean it's it's a nice safety feature. So what about your hut in the mall and feel idea we would love to hear you need to be safe out there.

Welcome Dave good morning Robbie how are you I am terrific. We are so excited. I had a chance to play it in the first session of Christian card soundbite from the cloud technology and how this card can wake up in the morning let you sleep in because your appointments late and all that stuff. Terrific. Amazing stuff and so cool and then the way you guys have displayed it. Can you share with our listeners a little bit about what you what you've done there with your display of the OSHA absolutely. We started with optimism of our key themes were ordered were very optimism about the future and we believe that by making cars more connected and more convenient that we can be a positive part of people day in daily routine and so what were showing in Detroit at the auto show is not only a complete range of our present future technology various vehicles but were showing a walk into the future. About 10 years time that could in fact part of transform your every day situation with your vehicle and we do that and stop there of the experience. The first phase is that you walk up and you learn about the features that are present today in the entire lineup and many of those things are surprising there both oriented around safety and convenience and then we look at kind of tour based on future global and we chosen five of those so we examine what the futurist are saying about how the world might change in the next 10 years or so and what effect that will have on people's lives and situations and then after we examine those things and we have a chance for visitors to look more carefully at those and ask lots of questions, then we take everyone on a ride. Literally in the center of a 22 feet up into the air and is completely enclosed and feeling provide 300° cinema experience and it it really is a lot of fun and I think the measures that we have already this is that when people come off of this experience, they really are optimistic and happy and they sort of understand where were going well and you want to see what this looks like that we not only have a video of the entire cloud process, but there's a video of their system and all they are doing at the auto show on Christian card.com as well. So if you want to see what that ride looks like what it look what it's like to go up in the cloud, so to speak is so cool you guys have a simulator to their let some sort of racecar simulator, I saw that as well. Well where where very proud to be launching an upcoming lineup of specialty cars and we plan to dump FT in the first one that were launching focus in Outlook coming very soon to the market and what works and what were showing with the simulator. When we first from Toyota. We've heard from across from Ford, but we have not heard from Chrysler so we have in the studio with us here know what is his future look like are you going to be like a Hotmail and field well we've got Allen Coley long long long time friend Alan and I actually go way way back almost 20 some odd years and it is time elder.

I hired Alan in the car business.

Many years ago but Alan works with Chrysler here in the Winston-Salem area and you guys got some really cool stuff to that. I don't see anywhere else your braking systems are like second to none.

We do have some excellent braking systems. We got what they call ready break alert are actually ready alert braking with which it does is it the text when the driver… But up and except you know the seller simulator actually assumes that it's going be some heartbreak and involved in the system will actually prepare for heartbreak application and then Alexi you know that way reduce the stop and distance.

You know it. It really works great.

You know it's it's like you're telling the vehicle that you're gonna need some heavy breaking. And here comes and then another cool thing you guys have is this rain was sick is a current regular rain break support what it does is is is with it. It actually when the windshield wipers her own ABS pump. Periodically pushes the break pads lightly against the brake rotors to keep the rotors dry and in that way when I turn on my windshield wipers this thing knows it's wet. If we were even really know that's that's the genius of what these people are working on for sale and it's amazing yes sir yes sir it's nice ready breaking and now the rain what's a cold rain rain break support just gives you added safety feature when when it does start rain.

You know what's really cool about always just from my standpoint. Allen is when Chrysler figures this out is to be about two years, but Ford and and and Toyota that will eventually catch up.

What's got you excited, we've got a car called the Dodd start coming out and it's coming out here in a couple I said Dodge dart just coming out. It seem like it came out 1960s is actually going to be our small card that should really do really well is a beautiful car to ride. I was at a picture. So we really haven't hadn't had a small car other than our 200 and you know we need some a little bit smaller than it the county gets more people that are looking for a small car is doing great.

This is a really nice feature. It it when you're getting ready to make it to you note your get the turn lane and you cannot turn right. This will let you know if a car is in your blind spot and will actually send the signal on your mirror that'll actually light up and I'll also give you a child to let you know some eyes behind you and in that way you you you don't have to turn you can you can wait to that car passes and then press doesn't get nasty hatches in a come on the dash and say are you a moron. I think that they should bit more little more colorful, yeah. Oh yes and you know they they do have stuff in your backing up to little you know like if you're in a parking spot in your backing up. It'll send the same signal to your mirror and also the child to let you know to proceed backing up with caution so you know there's all kinds of safety features out there now and then there's even we've had the people on the cars or parallel parking themselves in all the sensors that are available. What I think there's no end to some of that technology from a connective standpoint, Chrysler's Bennett work to write that yes got some neat stuff they got there they got.

They've they've got all kinds of stuff as far as you know were were always trying to think of ways to you know any particular picture and uploaded to Facebook you will and that's what I'm wondering.
