I think it's John Owens as well because you know the first last few weeks I've been reading about the father's love. But when it comes to the son John Owens goes right to the song of songs time and time and time again last Friday as I was on the plane I was reading what he said about communing with Jesus through his left hand is under my head in his right hand embraces me and all of a sudden it just me, my heart really wanted to leap out of my chest as I was thinking about the time when Jesus held me when I got crushed between the two jeeps for those you don't know that story I was just finished my last chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma went to the Jeep jamboree up in Murphy, North Carolina and as I was standing at the back of my Jeep. We are supposed to be unlocking our hubs. The guy behind us are up the hill from us had gotten out of his Jeep and didn't set his emergency brake and he left about a year, so his Jeep rolled down the hill, crushed me between the two jeeps nearly severing my left leg and it was at that moment and I got it it it. I have no way of explaining this to anybody, but I knew that I was in real trouble because he could get an ambulance up there. The Camaro with me. It was in the middle it was up an amount and Jesus came and I got this special in and I have you know that's the best way I know to describe it as left-hand is under my head in his right hand embraced me and you know when the paramedics got there, which took nearly an hour because of where we were in the mountains. I didn't feel any different when they hit me with a morphine because I already was feeling no pain because his left hand was on my head I will never ever ever forget that time that Jesus held me so my question to you and what I'm really really excited about everybody sharing the day is when did you get that kind of Jesus hug when did you share in that type of communion with Jesus. It is we are celebrating his birth, but if you had that kind of experience you do not walk away from it the same.

He sat across from me in the studio and Jerry you got one of those in your life that you all absolutely and at and you know as we talked, we went on the air unit was that moment when you know in your heart of hearts that God was focused that our Lord and Savior was focused on just me and mine started a sort and I'm really try to do the can dance version because it's hard even. But I've been in church. My mother, when the most godly women I know always have me in church and it was times when as you get older you think you know you have all that and that that's that's your DNA, but you sort of drift out of it of his that I started going back to church for my brother and Jeff's big sister going to ponder Christian church with a also had just built a new family life Center GM and 10 that at the time. I mean, I love playing basketball so I sort of got me back and got me from the back door to the front door. But all that was doing was really just preparing me I was married a wonderful wife but I've had some complications doing our daughter's birth and there was a time when the doctors came in. I mean she was in labor three months early for about think it was nine or 10 days sent from the emergency room up to to labor and then back and forth and ended up sadness at the move emergency room up to the delivery room and that that point they told me that is probably 10% chance that my wife would live in only 20% chance that the baby would survive through that process. I was all the sudden through people that was put in my life at that time.

I mean this church body that know me anything but they knew that that that I needed them and they needed and I needed to see Christ through them so they enter the elders of the church into the deacons and and and they just came in so together around me and I saw Christ to them and all the sudden we were in the in the room in the day it finally came in his day, I was great because it didn't sound too good, but it was set in there and they had all the specialists in their all the sudden I knew that everything was going to be all right. I I knew it. All the sudden just like God whispered them just just came down and whispered in my ear to listen to them. I got your back on this woman to survive this and just there. There was something as you mentioned that in York was something that you can't describe it as something well the sudden I knew that I was the focus of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. It didn't matter what was going on in the world. He was focused on me is focused on my wife and his focused on it at that. That baby girl and she gave birth to 3 pound little girl is now cheerleader at liberty University in home for Christmas and yet we still have some complications and stepper wife struggles some things but hey, I know God is in control and I know that and it was something that all I do in life is the fact that it also ministered to me that I've also got a purpose got a purpose to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and through everything I do to fix it at work at Ray's body shop and wrecker service people to come to the door.

I need to be Christ it's some form to them and I need to make sure I'm aware my I do wear my face on my sleeve and ended being up here and be with you Robbie and seeing your story now.

Robbie and the first time we had quite a bit of trouble. The second time we were in there and you know they have to have it for an hour to make sure it's okay. We're 59 minutes started bleeding. They took took Danny way morning blood out about his high and I just became panic panic.

I was really outside of myself and I didn't know what to do.

I did talk to her dying and everything went through my part to my mind. I was really lost. I started praying and and I was so emotionally distraught that prayer was working picked up the phone about midnight called my pastor so fast like hand on my shoulder and shoulder and started praying only the person holding the pressure had been nearly our and he said if we don't stop now working have to get a doctorate here.

Well after prayed, and started to come over me. I could worry leaving my life and the bleeding stopped and I just knew that was me because I was just so fearful of losing my best friend, my lover and and it was the most awesome moment ever had in my life felt like out of body. Because what God did, I knew I was being held far more than what I went through with cancer and everything that was a very emotional tears in my eyes right now we are right with you Craig were trying to hold it together here in person. I may not mean Mike my God bless II cannot tell you how much I appreciate your friendship, your testimony, we have got Craig in Salt Lake City.

He's got one for us and was Craig. We appreciate you calling so much and being up early this morning. What what if you got force when I might have been right at my conversion was my conversion country life was in my 40s, my 40s, recently recently new. I've been a bit agnostic. Most my life. Not really believing, not really knowing what what you think about everything and my wife had got pregnant with twins and they were born at 20 weeks, which was to send to try to save them and they they were born and we got a hold them for about 1015 minutes is a test on and then after that I was feeling just a certain sense of peace, something that I wouldn't expect to fill and has done a lot of pondering a lot of this kind of question does alone and an odd look on his head a little prayer and I said you know when some online footprints in the sand and and I just a little prayer and I said you know God. The third time that you're going to be with me. This would be it.

And if you could just let me know and let me know in a sense that I that I know this is not my brain feeling really good and and immediately.

This discourse went through me and says this is how I talked to Greg and and I'll settle a lot of things about about what I believed had changed and that point I started I started reading this a lot and and just I had this great sense of peace with me and and since then I have been a believer but the story actually gets a little bit better because my life, I continued on. She got pregnant again with twins when the and she put the hospital 23 weeks. Again and and I go there that day and I like I'm praying I like what is this about God. I converted I believe you and you and this you know the Scripture go through my head that the power God is going to be shown here and the doctors were preparing on my life and will take a break so well you hear what happened with those twins when we come back, but we got to hear your story. 23 weeks. What happened so they're saying you want us to even save them when they come to keep men there long as possible, but they're not there not be long and in so my life that will hospital in 24 weeks goes by, which was a big milestone.

At that point there almost there. They're pretty viable but there still complications and we just follow it week by week we get 30 weeks and that I okay everything is safe.

If you have them now we we can save them and so they're gonna send her home. She comes home she she's on bedrest and in the week still keep going by the 2028 weeks.

They actually had to induce her to bring those babies to us while at 3030 weeks and one of the names Eli and Ella as they leave Craig you have blessed us today. Dennis here on the Christian card I show good morning good morning all about the topic of morning and Craig for whatever reason I get so into it like when I hear about one time, but I have to confess that Craig I get anyone lonely. Craig reminded me of one, cried out, please, please let I will point my life.

Well school had failed me.

I had failed school and all I had gotten my girlfriend pregnant. Also I didn't know what to do.

We were at the time the child and arm told me to go back to the Bible, God did that and I went to my Bible that I would note that the five years old and by this time I was 2022 years old and pretty well worn.

So I'm trying to speed up your fill of the Bible. The patent compared to the mixing and opened up because of the great divide of the nubile government paid that women think Psalm 127 and in my Bible, the one page limit only the first three verses will available for me to read. All I need with the Lord build the city to keep her awake. If they are wicked, they go to watch the wicked thing and so on. I had not. Anyway, St. Jerome apparently lived back in the same days we still out is what I have not had any went to Jerusalem Mike as part of this is learning to be the same as both and he had a special dream where Jesus came to them and he went and got all his money together in this dream, and he laid it at Jesus's feet and Jesus said Jerome I don't need your money and so we went got all his possessions together.

I'll never forget this and related at Jesus feet which we might expect.

And Jesus said, as I would've expected Jerome. I don't major major possessions. What blew me away and will blow me away. Throughout this Christmas on the Christmas presents I got this year's what's what Jesus actually said the St. Jerome. I was can expect him to say what I want your heart. But that is what Jesus said. Jesus said, I want your sin. Yeah, that's what he wants and so many of us, we put on our Sunday school outfits we put on my Sunday school stuff but we believe the sin out that were really my own, with every single day.

But what Jesus came to set us free to set the captives free, is for us to give him our sin. How cool is that in your story reminds me of that Dennis God bless you brother appreciate you calling in all so so very much today.

Well I do have this other story I need to share.

That's a Christian card. I.com that goes along with a video of a girl and it's another one of my stories but I need to share this because I learned some about this. This we can see on the way back from a funeral in 1999 I got this unbelievably bad headache and it was sort of a strange sick headache and it just got worse and worse and I got tour anytime I move my head quickly. It felt like my brain was in a vice and the searing pain would literally drop me to my knees.

It hurt so bad. So, as usual, my wife Kurt and the doctor admitted to the CT scan and this was three years after my lymphoma and they found that there was inflammation in the meninges part of your brain is kind of aligning around it and they thought his lymphomas come back to his brain.

Or maybe's got meningitis and so they decided to do something called a brain biopsy which by the way is something you don't ever want. If you can avoid that by all means you do that put the brand biopsies basically paid, they need to go in your brain. And that's not just a little needle they take a pretty good little chunk out your skull well and the surgeon did that did the biopsy. He put a titanium plate back where the hole was in my skull and the really bad news was that plate carried a staff infection and after the surgery. I thought you they didn't find anything in my brain and I'm surely not surprised that I just now I know I but even after the surgery I the wound continued to lose my headaches get getting worse and worse and not knowing the infection that was bright getting my brain. I went to the doctor. They said well there's probably some swelling will put them on steroids.

My wife will tell you that this this this led to know little amount of embarrassment for her because I insisted on going everywhere. We did not do wonders for my personality which is already a bit straining and out.

Tammy and I are a bit of unusual couple to begin with. Because I'm 6 foot five and she's 5 feet tall so we come to look like Mutt and Jeff to begin with. But now add to that that I had let my friends affectionately called a bozo haircut because they take the hair off the minimum's and my hair was long and curly anyway so it was kind of sticking out of my friend, my good friend of mine said what's up with a bozo cut story I was going everywhere, whether this crazy haircut.

Then comes the stuff of legend.

There was a because I wasn't such a bad mood all the time I was Little League baseball game and with I out with me on steroids. I have no toleration for anything that was going on in my son was about nine and my daughter was about eight and they were just learning how to pitch and so they were calling balls and strikes on my side of the story. Now for another side to the story but the way I remember it was the score was 28 do nothing because we had never gotten the bat because a picture and walked literally 31 batters in a row in my opinion if my wife is a great thing to me at 31, and all I know is I couldn't take it anymore and I just started screaming at the top of my lungs right there in front of everybody.

If you walk one more batter I'm in to eat the grass of the entire outfield you can imagine this crazy man with his bozo haircut screaming out there in the ballfield so I don't really remember much after that. But they escorted me off the ball walk put me in the next morning they rushed me to the emergency room and because they saw that that is another CT scan saw that there was an abscess in my brain and so they had to remove the titanium plate and they are having trouble with something in the operating room that they couldn't get access to. So they put me on some of this holding area what I've had some pain in my life I really have had kidney stones course I talked about being crushed earlier in the show but between the two jeeps and all that entailed.

Honestly, nothing could possibly compare to having a brain for me having a brain swell with an abscess. You know inside your skull and they gave me every kind of painkiller that you can imagine, but nothing was helping and I really thought this is it. I am going to lose my mind because I cannot take anymore and for the second time in my life I knew down the shadow without song of songs 26. His left hand is on the my head in his right hand embraces me just when I thought I was at the end of my rope a nurse came in, her name is Ramona Seachrist and I knew Ramona she was in her Sunday school class and God had her there for such a time as this in my life.

All she did really was. Sit quietly beside my bed similar to your Pastor Mike just sat there and she held my hand and I have to tell you that I knew that God had sent her and I knew it was him holding me, only this time the different from the time of the Jeep.

He held me through the pain you hear what I'm saying. The last time when I got Chris between the jeeps. He took away the pain, but this time he held me through the pain, like you, Harry Posey from the fire or he lets you walk through the fire like Shadrach me shack in the been the cow and I can't really explain this except those people that have called it already and share their stories is that there's something miraculous and hard to explain that when you had that kind of touch from God, you, you know what I'm talking about that this was a miracle that he allowed me to go through that and Ramona was there for such a time. Is that while I came out of surgery and really a battle for my life and say because the abscess that they can get out of control under control and I did have that moment which would later come in very handy in my life for me came and they told me Rob, you probably only have about 24 hours left to hang this last antibiotic and if it doesn't work you not coming in. I can remember all that again. If you read a lot of my articles you'll find where that moment my life came in extremely handy later on when I had to face a friend who was dying and I had that experience but as you know I made it time here right and I have no unusual scars other than a really cool home. I had that when the kids come out in my grandkids whatever they let me fill out. I may have all of my head, but my faith is stronger than ever. And that's what were talking about today is right hand is on the my arm is left hand embraces me.

When did you get a special touch from God Dr. Sonny. Well now I was 44. Bipolar erupted out of my body and I am bipolar and give me any trouble until I was about 44 I was successful in my career and all that that all of a sudden Baggett came along and everything fell apart and I lost everything and I was in a condominium here in San Diego for 30 months just be the Lord and one guy brought me food every day. I one meal a day lost 100 pounds, I slept one hour a day, but 30 months or 30 months I slept in our day that it was God. 23 hours a day for two and half years and I basically told him that the end of the 2 1/2 years that I could take for this to take me and it just happened to be good Friday when I talked about it, he realized, and I went to sleep at noon on Good Friday and I woke up Easter Sunday morning and it was gone.

I slept six hours, then eight hours. Got back at 250 pounds 1999, got called ministry 2007 and have had a ministry now for five years.

I should've died three or four times there was nothing left but the Savior had be in his arms use the weekend show me that I would be born again.
