We would love to hear from Rob Houck. We share the road better or maybe just tells your pet peeve Rob well one thing people think about all day on a motorcycle. Keep in mind their vehicle stopped near that that motorcycle while our quote called number beltline catalog all people are not run over you there bigger vehicle outweighed by time and they just follow like you're falling behind the car giving a little extra motorcycle and I have asked somebody his father somebody's husband yeah that's that's that's right somebody son that's right right right in front of you in this stopping distance on a motorcycle significantly better grant observation brother that is a great observation and something that most people don't think about how much quicker motorcycle can stop that, and it's kinda compared the same comparison when the people are in a big truck and following behind a car because you know the car can stop quicker to great observation. I like that anything since you mentioned trucks and some trucker could call in a chair with this because a lot of people do not realize. If you are following a truck uphill and that thing weighs whatever it ways you would be shocked at how quickly it can stop this trip and so the truck is going uphill. You need to really be considerate of what their stopping distance is because it's probably half which car stop existence is if it's loaded and it's going uphill so and in the same thing with motorcycles. Now the challenge is Rob, I just go throw this out there.

When you motorcycle start downshifting and you don't hit the break we don't see any lights that were signs along the route and apply smart and brought you're not allowed by law day you wake up hear people driving on the freeway there in the left lane casting to get past the truck you think they'll get over the right right down there that's fine. I do have a few tips for both the motorcyclist and the car driver.

So let's say you have a youngster that is want to take on motorcycle riding. Now that's that's little bit scary thing if your parent in the bottom.

It is for a parent and the young my parents at a very early age realize that the way I drove a bicycle that it was probably best that I not jump on a a motorized bicycle at the early age in and said they encourage me to be patient and wait a few years amateur little bit before I self the motorcycle venue there that the bright colored close there you go Bob, you cannot get to brighter colored clothes to put your youngster if you're if you're going to allow him you know, again, and that's a parent's choice to allow their children write motorcycles, but if you do reflective tape is also reflective tape and I don't like, I can get to bright orange put my son to make sure because that's the deal is, are people going to see. So that's one one big thing. Another thing that a lot of people with motorcycles struggle will visit the there's no cancellation on the turn signals, you know, with a car when you make a right turn that you know that when it when it's with Mr. Will comes back and cancels the turn signal and it goes off. And so, two things happen with motorcycles.

Number one, there is no I've never seen one that had cancellation when you straight back out again because sometimes you'll turn without even much turning the wheel because it's all a little lean and so there's no way to cancel the turn signal lovers. So when you see a turn signal going off on a motorcycle. Do not assume that it is in fact fixing to turn because a lot of times and people forget to cancel so that's one of those issues is that you got up attention to turn signals that many of these things I've never really thought of you got some great great great points here this morning. I and and the other things if you ride a motorcycle big people get so frustrated with having to cancel all the time that they quit using now you are the gigantic disadvantage if you're on a motorcycle. So go ahead and get was even break in signal before you turn in and learn how to cancel it. I mean, that's just that's part of of even the ghetto fashion hand signals.

In and It Pushes Them out into the Other Lane Because They Already Have Their We Have Changed Their Steering Wheel Turned That Way and I Know of At Least Two People That I Knew Very Well That It Died Just from That One Had His Son on the Back of the Bike in and the Lady Got Bumped and She Moved out in Front of Him and He Hit and He Shielded His Sons Impact and Just Took the Full Impact Himself and His Eldest Son and Just Sacrifice His Life to Keep His Son Safe and and Then There Was Another Radio DJ A Few Years Back That That That in the Exact Same Manner for Somebody Was Sitting There Waiting to Make a Left Turn with Their Wheels Already Turned and I Got Hit from the Rear End and Knocked Him out in Front of Him and so This Was One Great Big Thing You Can Use It Now Specially Where They Do It Is Is One There to Make a U-Turn Because They Think I Need to Get My Wheels Turn As Quickly As Possible Because I'm a Make a U-Turn.

Don't Do That You Got Plenty of Time.

Once the Light Turns Green the Whip to Wheel around It and in That's a Tragic, Tragic Situation, Just Not Just for Motorcycles but for Anybody and Bob, You May Not Know This but Actually I Was in Service Manager in a Motorcycle Dealership Long before I Got in the Car Was Well before I Got the Car Business but Kind While I Was in the Car Business and It Was My Job, Which Was a Very Fun Job to Test Drive Every Motorcycle That Came through the Shop and That's a Good Job. So Whether It Was a Gold Wing or Whether or Not It Was One of Little Dirt Bikes If If It Came through the Shop. We Had to Give It a Test. But Anyway, What I Had Noticed Him Being around People Ride Motorcycles for Number Years and for A While I Have Was Motorcycle It and You Have a Car and What I Noticed Was That When People Thought They Could Write a Motorcycle That Was When They Were in Trouble. This Is Sort of a Pride Thing That the Ones That Still Seem Pretty Intimidated by Him, Even after They've Been Writing for Years. Those Are the Ones That They Kinda Never Laid Him down, but the Ones That I Have This Technician That I Work with Me and He He Knew How to Ride a Motorcycle in His Own Opinion and and I Was Ride with Him One Day and We Were Running out Towards Tybee Island in Georgia and I'll Never Understand. As Long As I Live.

I'll Never Understand. He Was to the Left of Me. I Was on the Right. We Were Riding Side-By-Side Going out This Highway at 55 Miles an Hour and We Come up behind the Car in a Course He Wants to Pass What I Can See the Other Car, I'm I'm to the Right of Him and I Can See the Other Car Coming. He Does Not Seem and He Pulls out past His Car in Front of Us.

I Mean, Not 40 Feet before This Car Was There so and It Was Coming 55 Miles an Hour in the Other Lane and He Was on a Kawasaki 750 and As Long As I Ever Live. I'll Never Forget the Sight of Him Pulling out There and He Had That Car like Here's the Hood Ornament. He Had It Dead Center and Split That Seven 50 1/2 Just and It Immediately Burst into Flames and My Friend Went Flying through the Air. I Would Just Somewhere in the Neighborhood of Seven, 800 Feet Way up Here and That He Went down in Some Trees over There so I Naturally Set My Bike down to Run over There and I Get over There and He Is Laughing He Is Laughing like He's Had the Best ATP Check in the Mail. I Found That I Was Ever Going to See That Friend Again, but I Said Man You Have Got to You Idea What I Could Not Understand Is, Did You Not See the Cargoes Now. I Had No Idea There Was but Just like That in a Flash of a Second Somebody's Life Can Change Forever Because of Being in Our I See It Every Week Bob Slow down. Jesus Walked Everywhere He Went and Got It All Done in 33 Years If That's Cranky Matt Wheel All the Way to the Left or If That's to Sign Them a Pass Somebody That You Don't Really Need to Pass. I've Always Admired the Maneuverability of a Motorcycle.

Every Time Make It to the Track and Back Home in A While I'm Stuck in Traffic, You Know Where They Can Yield Think That the New Little Traffic Diversion. There Little Maneuvering and Everything and They Just Be the Same Every Time in the It's Just It's Really Really Been a Good Thing for Them Just the Maneuverability and Being Able to Get Get Home Quicker from the Race and Everything While Hopefully There's No Police Officers Listing Bob That Her Thinking That Is Not Legal.

We get a chance to hear Greg Laurie regularly but can you imagine one event with millions of people around the world. Tuned in with a chance to hear the gospel and all the people to come to Christ that literally what they show so well in that movie is how those original evangelist. What changed it they called the great awakening, and if there's ever a time our country needed a great awakening. You know that is the time and so we do want to move into our appraisal by the real black book.

You've got me perplexed on this on brother 12 Matthew 28. They call it the great commission where where Jesus is fixing to you know it's after the resurrection. He says that there is the very last verse in Matthew he says, go ye therefore right and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them in and and showing them everything I taught you so there's the great commission that how can we share this commission without get a mini deal so to speak well the thing that I love about that verse are several things I love about every one of the first things I love about that verse is a word disciples because he says he doesn't say go make converts. He doesn't say go evangelize what he actually says is go make disciples. Now when you look at that word disciple and you study it, and I have at length. You find out that that word comes from. Of course the Greek work that has to do with an enthusiastic learner and so if working to go make enthusiastic learners now interestingly enthusiasm was a wizard Christian word that was stolen out of our people talk about enthusiasm all the time but really means and faucet means God in us, and so enthusiastic learner somebody who is excited about learning about Jesus and the interesting thing about that is if you're excited Bob about learning about Jesus and you get up this morning and you get up early and you find something in the gospel of John the just flip your switch then you become an enthusiastic learner like God comes in there.

He says let me show you some today and when you when you learned it.

You're so excited. When you get to work is what you gotta do share that you gotta share. You cannot keep it that you think you know what I read this morning.

You know what I heard and in this matter. Whether a believer and unbeliever. Whoever is you walk up to. If you can share your enthusiasm, because what you're doing. You are being a disciple and wants your enthusiasm.

Guess what it can to can spread because that's what you do with enthusiasm.

That's what you do. It is contagious, that's for sure. And so what I always say is that if you want to go make disciples. The first and most important part of that equation is you gotta be one yourself. You gotta get up this morning with a hunger and thirst to find out more about God, the more find more about Jesus. Find out more about the Holy Spirit because if you get up this morning with that in mind did not not with the outcome being that I want to share something I want the outcome to be that I can find out something really cool about my Savior today and guess what, the net result of that will be his, you're gonna want to share and it's like, even something as simple as Tyner. She if you teach someone to tithers. She or any other task or any other thing you will become ill you possess.

It about like affixing a biker fixing a flat or are changing a tire. If you teach somebody to do it, you will possess that knowledge for ever and Sharon. That's the best part of Sharon is is the after you teach somebody about something you just on you know and you have a better grasp of and a grasp of it that will last you for life and sometimes if we just if we perform a task one time and don't repeat it or don't ever show anybody how to do it and we can lose it may be a dance there for something that you see one time and you never practice it or anything prefix going from me, but if you share that with somebody and you teach it to somebody. Anything you teach from that point on, you have a great command of it and it is part of your arsenal and and party B right and and and how cool is that when it comes to being able to share again in this commission because we think the Lord commission right if your salesman you're always thinking while you know what's sweet but the neat thing about the great commission is that the there literally eat their eternal rewards. About this particular commission and the other thing that I love about that verse I was going share this really really cool to me. There's only one place that I know of in the Bible that is a clear clear clear picture of the Trinity, where you get to see God the father, God the Holy Spirit and Jesus all in the same place at the same time, other than at the baptism of Jesus.

So at the baptism of Jesus. What you get to see you get to see Jesus right is going on the water and when he comes up what happens. The Holy Spirit descends on him like a dove and the father says from heaven right this is my beloved son in whom I will please listen to him see you get this picture now at the end of the great commission, we get to see it again because what is Jesus a and baptize them to become part of this Trinity.

You get to come into the adventure father because when you come through the great commission like that you get to take part in God the father, God the son God Holy Spirit where to hear more about sharing from my gum on borrowed time here amongst all these motors in this unbelievable unbelievable theater people you know anything about that Bob is just think of all the people to come to Christ. September 28 and 29th that are going to get a chance at life.
