Special edition of the Christian car guys show today.

We got Christian guys from all over the place you're going to be so blessed to start out at what we call the big dance in the car business is where everybody shows off their stuff its North American international auto show in Detroit and one of those Christian car guys we got. Come right on the shoot is John younger he's the president CEO of the Christian broadcasting Summit systems Limited. One of the stations that carry our show in Lexington, Kentucky, and he spent some time there this week in the in here in a minute. Working to get into some of one of the interviews he did he got to do what I wish I got to do well in the 2014 Corvette. Well, welcome John John morning yeah good morning, you got a chance to find out about the new vet the car of the year and your next vet owner so you that the greater it is. Great car. It fits well regardless of your size drives will by all accounts, and it was the origin of the North American international shows 2014 earlier. Love to hear about that.

We got back, just a minute and beyond with us as well.

When we have Eric Peterson he's got the new for the 2015 Ford F1 50 analogy part about this truck at 700 pounds lighter. Now that's like huge Jerry is significant that absolutely had with aluminum body has something do with her and I'm yeah I'm interested in your insight on the all this new aluminum that I'm hearing from more and more manufacturers that we got Jerry he's a Christian body shop guy with this.

He's in the studio and at the bottom of the hour. You guys can be excited because we got Christian car guys from all we got. We got Doug Cupples with Lauterbach Buick. We got animal ransom with Peterson, Toyota, and we got a man by the name of Fran Taylor who is a sales trainer and these guys and to share their secrets of what you need to know.

In fact, the question I asked them was if you were to send your mother into buying a car and she could buy it from you. What advice would you give her and Jerry are to get that advice on what to do about the absolute is a lot of things need to know that can save you a lot of headache in some money so we got all that coming up and we normally would have are on track with Andy our NASCAR reporter well since we did the whole show last week with Mr. Shepherd. We are going to say that for next week so would now be back on track with Andy next week. But as always, we got appraisal by the real black book coming up in this week in our appraisal by the real black book you will be at the end of the show and I noticed it certainly following Jesus was the big dance in the first century do anything.

Terry absolutely that was the family: so what's up with John the Baptist. Why was he such a big deal and why did Jesus say of John the Baptist. Truly, I sent you among them, born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist.

Well, the more I study Isaiah the more I see the glorious part that John the Baptist played and I get to share that coming up the end of the show in our appraisal by the real black book and this is a live show today, by all means, if you have any question or comment for any of our host of guest today you call us 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH. You can find out all the stuff. It website Christian car guy.com there Christian Car Guy.com is a very cool video very worth watching on the 2014 Corvette there taken on the tractor showing some of the neat things I've never seen the they have a variable electronic limited slip differential that they used to help steer the car out of some amazing stuff you seen this video as well as a video on the 2015 Ford F1 50 and of course we have links there at all. Our guest today if you want to get up with any of those people and I do need to share a Bob Young update with you. I spent a lot of time with Bob who lost his son Rob who was on the show a couple weeks ago we need to keep lifting him up and pertinently.

There is such a struggle absolutely and you know and always say when you get to a crisis like at that the fear you have is that that you keep thinking things going to go back to normal, but they don't.

And then you just have to legislate for the cross, then so important for us to do that also medicine wonderful audio of Rob Young America website as well.

In the course of Jesus labor of love. Now I gotta get to this interview were going to be bringing a John Fitzpatrick was Chevrolet and John. You did this interview. Can you set it up for us real quick was sure was an interview again. The good news is the car guys are back and there's a passion that probably harkens back to the 60s they love what they do. They love product kept the bean counters at the big deal in the they have put the product they left it on the street.

I know John Fitzpatrick and and John is at their jobs with John Fitzpatrick of Chevrolet organ talk a little bit of muscle and refined muscle that I've asked John to just brag a little bit on this great Corvette and a little selfish because I was a C6 owner for years and I'm looking to get back in the game. John, good to see that they house the children shows figuring I had a great property on Tanya my only complaint six was going and that thing would take a corner was a slip did everything except noise and I couldn't hear the phone is like it was a lucky thing. I don't want to sell this work in my car. I later when the 14 was unveiled. They told me want to guys look at them recently on, let's talk about what's new and dealing with the car of the year here. The NAIA is 2014 and were very proud of the listing rating really does show how events involved in the automotive journalist and you know they're seeing are the militancy and that the sky really is different and is much more involved in the previous generation not only on the interior driver century really allowing the driver to change it, how they want to change depending on what they're doing. Are there weather conditions allows them to really test itself with relatively minor part of the year seems to perform hers costing more money. It seems to have sustained some of the European competition as it is, that in fact I might settle in our sitting on the world's best most senior we think we have a car and Emily beats him in the number of categories our moments containing 29 miles down Highway 29 is okay and what else is new. What else I can we expect will actually early next year will be introducing Visio since everything is great about the stingray amplified stingray engine or the supercharged engine 625 hp +635+ pounds curling pieces are sealed C6 so and now let's address circulating. I think Ron last autoshow/there would be a step down from stingray now know you are going to 50,000. My only wasn't much off manual and was noted to and when I saw the price it's like this is definitely for this is definitely up for this when I think you have a 06 and the old generation 06 is my God what a car now, let's talk a little is done very well.

What is new one was the best-selling sports kind America that marriage is 1/21 generation in really inducing a street legal race Z28 outside at $75,000.

I thousand is only one option that is to get the air conditioning and radio is really design take on the best and it really is domestically and me. Maybe horse GT three in terms of initial really is. If you're looking for a notepad that behaves down the road I would signal Visio one because Z28 cavities while it features RLS seven engine 505 hp. Just like the old 06. While one well good luck seeing some great things on Chevrolet quality time problems openly. Well it was great to have that insight. We got Eric Peterson coming up really quick from Ford to hear his side of it from the big dance in Detroit.

We got all the new stuff coming with John Junior and all these Christian car guys are coming out of the bottom where there is so much? I shall come up.

We still need to hear from you. 866-348-7884 have any question or comment for yesterday. Please add NASCAR sound effects to my favorite, so in order to watch you go go go on that particular one. Yes, that those were NASCAR sound effects that Robbie added to to to add a little spice you won't hear that in your church. Yes, you are list of the Christian car guys show and we are at the big dance today because the North American International auto show is going on in Detroit and were so blessed as a Christian car guys on with us today. We've had John younger here. He's still on.

With this in Detroit and now are adding Eric Peterson who is with the new four 2015 F1 51 of the coolest things I've seen come out. They dropped seven talk about going on a diet Trop 700 pounds off the scar welcome. This is this is an amazing truck and so many different ways that wait thing is that is is a course showstopper exciting thing that or meant more fuel economy everything by taking it an amount wait out 700 were able to deliver not just with it would be better fuel economy. Take all that weight I get better fuel economy.

But contract terms. In particular, translate directly back into Tolle Fillmore Hall more Caremark thing that really huge benefit to you economy. But, overall capability perspective, which is my record by touching the first place and then it's really cool little innovations that you've added to the traction with chocolate better meets modern people get the old school thought, get the truck is simple.

I get back to back.

Really, nothing could be further from the truth. People live in the truck quite literally the Family Dollar that were choleric that everything out features that maybe some people used to think for feature that you get hired vehicle like 360° camera make a lot of protracted well backing and a place to park not going off road of purposeful technology like the camera based upon a thank then you get other work directly truck you got is I think that some significance. I've done a lot of off-road driving in my in my life. Can you imagine you're coming up on this branch anyone and if that is gonna take out your fender and is your pulling up close to it hears is 360° cramp camera that you can go hey, is that thing too close to his agonist. You know what I'm talking about your raptor today really cool dimension thing I've noticed that my camera get too close like the 183 60 you can really feel that branch can help literally within an inch and Mike getting that rocket you're getting a tight spot really is great technology but like everything we do with that ticket to be purposeful, purposeful and smart little bit about the translation… And then you got these engines.

All this eco-blue stuff going on and I expect that a lot of people look up a little bit with think you can put it be fixed in there and when we talked about the number 65 tort 11/11,000 on the tolling they became believers and with over 400-2535 that wet are excited to bring smaller defects at 27 into the new F1 50 because your 700 pounds lighter. You're able to put a small event and get better fuel economy really get the performance of the midrange BA you actually trying on since you had a chance to see this truck talking John younger than Detroit John what what were you what were you thinking when you saw the truck will you know it did cause a lot of store there was a lot of action around the truck and and and there's some chatter and this is something you would be good to address some chatter know the old thought line of the truck has to be steel has to be this, it's not tough unless it's, you know, like a tank and of course they beaten it down with the echo the eco-boost engine made the kill that stereotype. The trick is to be of the eight and I'm wondering how they're going to address these guys and say a truck has to be all steel great, but without talked a lot about the first is the backbone of the frame starts with payment hundred percent feel like it. I think about 23% at 877 increase in the amount I think the body, the bad, the box the whole thing largely made up of high-strength that you mentioned military grade aluminum alloy alloy that we you in the truck the same family to think. How is that going aerospace vehicle over the road truck and got military vehicle aluminum and alloys are used all over the place on a high Really tough industry today and so we think that Ashok showing that in Kentucky the other industry you just about how to to see what we did and it was the greatest guy that looked like look like the old truck. It was basically all the aluminum alloy panel, and it evident Amanda Baja 1000 and engine perform like a champ. It just that no issues in the body. The truck with no issues as well is a fun way that the test out that the new truck basically under under everybody's note due to cost of the different right right now we are not really think I think available to the fourth quarter, but that week we we have a real good understanding what truck it will stand for capability and fuel economy. We are Thinking that our customers are weighing heavily and we are so blessed to have you on today so thankful for all these great innovations coming out of Florida and you can find out more about this a Christian car guy.com is a cool video.

The new F1 50 along with some of those features and the Corvette and a lot of that stuff. We got so much that we can let the dogs out in the next segment of the Christian car guy.

We got car guys from all over the country to be on the stage and so much more.

It was made car guy where let the dogs out Christian car guys from around the country.

You are charming and we were challenging to tell us you know what are the secrets of the experts. If you were to send your mom out your daughter someone you dearly love to go buy a car based on your experience, what would you share with your loved one, so I think that's that's great wisdom that working to try to glean from these different folks that are really some of the best of the best out there. Not only are they wonderful Christian men, but they are also which we would always by the way I love a Christian car gal the call and you know we were always going that 866-34-TRUTH 87884 but these guys certainly clearly display their faith by this. At the same time some of the leading salesman in their in their field. So were thinking that they have some tremendous wisdom. If you want to know more about these guys again you always find a Christian car guy.com there's links to their particular dealerships their websites.

Of course we have our own Jerry with his expert body shop guys can be with us in just a second look. I talked to Deb Doug Cupples. He is in Des Moines, Iowa area, which is great because we got K TIA up there that we at listener center in Iowa. I know would be interested in the listing from Doug but Doug, what would you suggest to your mom to your aunt if she was need to buy a car and couldn't buy it for me.

I probably will you the top five things that I would but even before and after the prayer to pray for wisdom and great revision before even after the cartel and so no number five first question you gotta ask yourself, do I need a different car will go out to get away am really feeling or emotion and we should act on our motion should act on the word of God right alive number four is what type of vehicle my family that I need a car and SUV and joint fuel economy is important, but you look on my family of five in a Chevy Cruz in any manner like a car get away think I like that what my budget. You need unique but you need to be on you knowing, of course, in the Christian faith.

We that you don't have a lot of movement that you need to get alone need to be reasonable and that you have that had you going to play around the world and not a lot of thought into higher payment and all that you need to know ahead of time.

You need to know what interest rate car what that looks like you can afford $200 a month you need to make sure you're doing the right thing going in their old there's plenty of guys out there that love to talk people and 300 and elements a cup of coffee a month or you know a day or something like that and number two is you need to know the values of your trading you know the value of the car you going into and thanks dealerships and use NAPA values for their vehicle and consumer use Kelly blue book, but the only thing that truly makes a difference.

If you have a trait is the difference kind of thing. But you need to make sure that the different bear pride and going for a fair amount and so get online take that paperwork with you know what you're doing and going there armed and ready to go and and dealers you going to dealerships that no choice but to look back looked up do some shopping on other cards that are like that the market and that your homework really does help number one my perspective, my binder, a crummy reputation. You know they've heard a lot of people you know things like that. You can look up online dealer reputation management program that all this… Cover-up all that regular research and look around online but don't get graded at Brandon family asked them if they know anybody they know any other Christians out there that are selling car because ultimately if something happens the car and that we got to get back to you. You want to build to be in good standing in good standing with their other customers been around for a while usually help and things like that, but that's one.

Gotta tell you that I was listening Doug Cupples. He works for Lauder box Buick GMC, Baron Newton, Iowa. So if you want to. Now I know where one Christian car guy is in and is making a point that we made many many many times on the show with godly counsel plan succeed is), Proverbs, and there's nothing like having somebody close to you in the car business. Doug God bless you buddy appreciate you so much and what you shared today.

I thank you Robbie God bless you and remember your prayer a great many people. After the cartel that many people that didn't buy a card so that his awareness that people get what they need then, and in God's taking care of it with a beginning from from us or not, but sometimes they get the help from us that they need, rather than the car.

Jerry I put the same question to you and so we heard a little bit about what to do when you buy a car were to get the smartest guys in a minute, but now I want to put that that question to our own Christian body shop guy. If Uranus in your aunt or your cousin or somebody out there that to begin to take a body shop in an American market. You will be what would you tell how I really liked what Doug started out with was prayer is one thing, just pray about it and seek counsel mean ask your friends, neighbors, colleagues or whatever it may be more of you know a referral for body shop.

Our wrecker service but it but the end of the day what it all you do. So many times he went car shopping are looking for repairs. It's you you're doing it on price and that's not always that the best way to do it do it and see what you get an issue getting the value for your repair. Another pace I would always make sure that that someone does is don't wait to you're in a crisis coming binder car is something sort of plan you can be planning on it for six months and getting to that point and transition into a new car and shop around.

But if your need and that towing facility a wrecker service a body shop a mechanical shop. Usually it's when you're in a crisis. It's the cars broke down the cars been in a wreck. I just hit a deer on got a flat town the side of the road so that's what's so important to do that advance warrant goes in and in look at your local shops. Many simple when you walk in to make sure one thing that whoever you're talking to is going to be there tomorrow and ask not what where a family-owned business and that an independent body shop and towing facility and and just in the Delta country.

I mean that maybe the avenue to go because you know those people going to be the same people you do with today that you can deal with next year, five years down the road, but just really just do that research because anything you say when you're in the crisis and it is happening on the side of the road are are your your vehicles wreck all the things you can think about that moment are really thrown out the window because you're not thinking rationally. Sometimes it was so important to have that that caught in the glove box or that information to everybody in our family we talk about that. Make sure your daughters not your gotta sign out driving your wife everybody knows this is our body shop. This is our wrecker service. This is where we get the car fixed if you need any of those things you know this is our insurance agent in case of emergency.

This is the guy that work in a call with this and that so we got there about the credit somewhere because I'll tell you, that is an essay be a ton of money but most important is essay be a ton of aggravation coming to vehicles close by, you know where it is you know you know what's what's going on. If you live in the East out of Charlotte RR Darr Los Angeles and your vehicle was towed in 30 miles away.

I mean, it becomes a problem. We just have all that stuff in place in the know who you want the vehicle to go to the next step.

We got Adam Ransom is in Lumberton, North Carolina, and Adam is still in Toyotas there at Peterson Toyota. Welcome Adam Kinney to speak on your radio give got lonely all the things he showed in my life went on. I don't think like him but I realize it is a light on the cutouts of a God don't make him aching and my life just like you to get all that old, but I realized that I just look to the Nightingale. Joyce Leconte and I and I really like Bill. Couple things we pray and seek God. They see what he wants to lead us and guide us to the light dealership dealership that is on a stand behind the car and and and we realized that I wake up every morning praying and got me the light people and someone to me that I can be honest about it and that in the copy on the line for something doesn't call it that, you know that you you need to be go to a guy that is going to speak honestly to again speak in a debate going to treat you like, not just a one time cost but always got a lifetime cost for you can go back to what you see you calling back to steal data and you need anything. He dared to keep you wear something to tell you which way you need to go even when you're not, you need to know the value of your call I and the value of that. We got a break when we come back and clean a little more wisdom from Adam a little from Fran where you got a guitar praise upon the real black book and find out what was the big deal with John the Baptist, maybe a little bit more connect to God for you have so much more for and I show coming up for you state me the current Iranian Christian paradigms from all over the place and talking about the big dance in Detroit and we are going to get to her.

But first we want to wrap up with the last two guys we got we got Adam Ransom at Peterson Toyota in Lumberton, North Carolina. But we also have with this Fran Taylor is a sales trainer actually was. Works with both those other salesman he so sank the trains car salesman I can't talk. He trains car salesman around the world and Fran welcome hello there, it's good to have you on and so with Adam.

Still, Adam still with us and and I was wondering as your training needs car salesman and in there you are Christian, what would be some of the advice that you have because you definitely connected to the market to the people listening to David that that you would share about buying a car.

Profit is not a dirty word dealership To make profit to be invented and don't buy on emotions alone. A lot of times you're going to Gwen you're going to find a really nice salesperson here you're all excited about the corridor might be little bit too much that you can handle payment wise. So you have to do some kind of research plan out a budget what you want before you going in a car that you like. It's too much money find a cheaper card unless you are readjusted in figure you can afford, but the sales reps they have to show you everything about the car and off. They're just going to run you through the steps to the sales and say what you think. Now there's a good chance of knocking to take care you after the sale. It'll make sure when you're working a deal it again and say you find a car you like, make sure everything is in line what you want. The payments are in line to down payment and they know it's a card you want to at the end of the day in the payment. That's a huge thing and was wondering for me. One of the things I was trying to communicate. Here is for the customers to realize they need to be completely honest with her salesman because of the salesman starts to detect that they're not telling the truth then it's game time it's it's like okay what were playing games here. Then all of a sudden it it it changes the rules of the game better than they need to come in and be honest with salesman and also not killing for down sheet for me to help you as Fran Taylor had design complete Toyota and NAL sheet. Despite going…… Can't be honest with you if you can't be honest and you let them know back or not, shall aching pain thing in the copy what they look the amount of money I make is what I need to be what – my job is to point into the call last out in all the land that they need in a call that's wonderful and I got to tell you both that is such a blessing to know this is always Christian, Jerry out there that help you know just a matter of just going that you know going to misstep because it's not as thoughtful wolves out there mean we we do have people in this industry that all Christians in conduct business by that that rule. God bless both you guys, I appreciate you so much being on today with the sin you guys keep up the great work and have me on screen.

Thank you. All right what we can move in our appraisal by the real black book.

That's where we search the Bible for hidden treasure crown for discernment left up our voice for understanding as I mentioned the beginning of the show in the first century didn't have the Detroit auto show and so the big dance. It it it appeared to me that for years.

It certainly that was following Jesus, but why was it the Jesus made such a big deal about John the Baptist and why was his ministry so critical to what happened in the scheme of things, and those were the questions always had gone on in my mind, but it really that many answers until I really began to study Isaiah very very hard and also study John Allen's work on the Holy Spirit and in doing that this week he takes me to the Ephesians and there is a second segment of Ephesians that is so mind blowing MRI study of the more it just opens my mind what was going on in Isaiah what was going on in Jesus and John the Baptist mistreats in Ephesians 417 and 18 and it is seem simple at first but when you dig into this thing is awesome. This is this I bathe and for this I say therefore and testify in the Lord that he henceforth walked out of the Gentiles walk in the vanity of their minds having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God by the ignorance which gives them blindness of heart and the interesting thing if you walk through that is vanity of mind. In other words, it's all about me leads to darkened understanding which means that your walk around in the dark which it leads to a hardening of the heart. Now if we go back to. Here's a problem. Is it so much of my life. It's all about me effect if you were to see my computer in my office. It says it's not about you Robbie been a big sign. Rather, it's not about you there's a larger story going on in here and if I'm in the vanity of my own mind if things are about me vein thinking you know Ecclesiastes vanity vanity all is vanity that so huge because that vanity leads to according to Paul, darkness of understanding and that darkness leads to hardness of heart, so from walk around in the dark. What do I need I need the light well the good news is if you think about what John said in him was life and that life was the light of men. And the light shines where in the darkness and the darkness didn't comprehend it, and in the John takes you right there because John was one of the guys that follow John the Baptist there was a man sent from God whose name was John. This man came as a witness to what the light now let's go back to Isaiah to write this. What what we have in Isaiah where he says which actually this week I was in Isaiah 57 which is a little bit different than what it says in Isaiah 57 is it said build up build up repair the road, which is similar to make your paths straight. Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people, for this is what the high and exalted one says he lives forever in his name is holy. I live in a high holy place, but also with those who have a contrite and low Holy Spirit.

In other words, I live in heaven but I also live in a low place with those who have a contrite spirit will think about John the Baptist. Now there who did John the Baptist hang around brood of vipers. Okay, eat, and even he didn't go into the synagogue and speak.

He spoke to the people at the contrite heart that were willing to listen to them call my brood of vipers right if you're if you're up thinking your godly and somebody says what brought you out here you believe the vipers you not to listen. The man, but the contrite heart brought them to John the Baptist and you see with those of us who know we really are brood of vipers, and we need baptism we need that repentance we need to turn back to the father. Like the prodigal son. Once we do that, then the light can shine in the darkness and see if you think about it who were John the Baptist followers. They were the disciples, they follow John the Baptist before they follow Jesus, why did they recognize Jesus because they had been the brood of vipers that recognize height John the pain of that day they hit the contrite heart went to John the Baptist got baptized got to see the light and Jesus showed up. They knew who he was and that's why John says he came unto his own, but is under no why didn't they know they didn't know they were brood of vipers right Jerry you use it to read that Pat Summit hits you right between NASA means each and every one of us. That's, that's, that's our life that that's who we are and so on.

Tanya and that we have.

Those of us Christian car guys out there that we know that if we can get away from that vanity of mind so that I our understanding will be dark is not about us when wonderful, wonderful passage will certainly arrive. Love the show having so many wonderful guys on today any Jerry has been full is that I like to tell Rob we came in. A lot of moving parts. A lot of moving parts because doing so much we want to thank you especially for listening because without your listeners. It is just not here with us and we will thank all the people been on. Let us remember slowdown. Jesus walked everywhere he went and got it all done in 33 years. And hey, why not think about this week is not about what is God trying to do here get the vanity out your mind and see the light
