It's kinda covering the ark of the covenant. It's kinda covering a heart and it's kinda covering the Noah's Ark and the ark that Moses and this is a picture that to me.

God's been painting since the beginning right my Adam and Eve sinned, and they try to make themselves covers of Figley didn't work out for the God made them skin heat.

He'd had a blood sacrifice that he could have some justice because he wanted to look at his EP loved Adam and Eve, and in order to be able to look at him he had to have something that covered their nakedness. Something that would keep him so that he could still have some justice and mercy. Well, as he knows man just went downhill from Cain and Abel and all that stuff got all kinds of trouble and now God's wrath really worked up, and so now he was gonna bring this wrath. On the whole world and the way he did that was worth through a flood, and if you look carefully in the Noah's Ark there some passages that talk about that. The Hebrew word for cover. If you look in Exodus 25 only talk about the ark of the covenant.

What is what is called the mercy seat that's on the top of the ark of the covenant. It's that same word that they used to cover Noah's Ark time pitch. That's how we know that God is trying to cover something and see my creating this tar and pitch on the ark. He was holding back his wrath from Noah and what was precious inside. I don't see it was the cover that Back his wrath so that there could be justice but at the same time, there could be mercy. This time pitch denies it interesting that that Ark of the covenant would use that same word but but before we get there. There's Noah's Ark got a little picture of Jan's bed with her baby Moses drawn them out of the water. He, too, when in the little ark, and he had the same pitch that was on the outside of that Ark was on Mount Noah's Ark and interestingly he was the one in Exodus 25.

But before you see see that I want to see these two cherubim which are in this picture. These two cherubim have wings that cover the top of the mercy seat.

There and the idea is you see inside that Ark was the rocket butted in the manna also was the law and see there's no way we can keep God's law.

And that's class and now God can look once a year at the high priest he could come in and he could commune with him right there at the mercy seat now.

What makes this unbelievable as far as his pictures concerned is now where does it take us into today. Well if your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I want to think about this with me. If your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. According to John Eldridge in his book, waking the dead wherewith the holy of holies be tight. The blood of Christ. Now I want you to think about God from now.

Can you imagine what he sees when he sees his son's blood. I mean, here's the most precious thing in all of the universe of anything I could possibly dream of.

I could spend probably hours and hours and hours just thinking of my own son's blood and how pressure would that be to me if he was loves somebody so much that he was going to die and cover them in their blood so that I could look on them. What does God see when he sees you. You see, he sees that which his son paid everything for that cover is covering the law you see, so that you could be in his eyes because you know the Old Testament so clear that going God curses somebody turns his face from them but that means when he blesses you.
