The NBA is doing an "In Season Tournament", so why doesn't MLB do this, too??

John Manuel, pro scout for the Minnesota Twins, with his reactions to Adam's MLB ideas. Adam thinks that this layout will work well for the NBA, but even BETTER for MLB! Do you agree with this idea and thin kit would work out well in making regular seaosn games more interesting, or are there flaws? What other events is the MLB thinking up?
