Cruel ticket from somebody whose favorite team 101 games and lost to a team 189 Mets couldn't beat the Padres lost three. There is something to be said for the fact that the number five and six seeds in the National League who 187 or number or guess 89 and 87 games respectively will battle it out for a spot in the World Series. Elliott Johnson, former Cleveland Guardian. Although he was actually never Cleveland Guardian. He was the other name joins us on the outer gold show, all right. I don't want to I can't.

I can't re-create the brilliance of the question I asked before but do we have to explain to people the playoffs are just different, and that once the playoffs start. Whatever you did during the regular season doesn't matter at all the relevant so you know, still amazed by the number of different ways that you've introduced me to introduce basic legal guardian, but known by the other team you getting at that site work out educating our youth that you can continue to make that up.

So I did the first thing I'd love to. They don't when on paper. I think people get a little too worked up about that but also we are where we are because the owners wanted to water down and diminishing the impact of the regular season to go back to the old school day day. It was just the pennant you are going to go battle for the National League going to battle for the American League.

Whoever wins the pennant squares of the world.]

How far we come from that because what you're trying to do is engage your fan base as long as possible to give them hope and belief that the guild play in the playoffs and ultimately hopefully win a World Series right and look what happened with the mayor Madison. They were hot. They were loving it. They were enjoying another grand gastro right of credit number and are not, but ultimately getting into the damp is all that matters because once the dam happened. You never know who could win. Ergo, the Washington nationals a couple years ago and their organization.

In shambles, quickly, but they made the most of their opportunity. LinkedIn been glued. The retinoid became World Series champs so you know what I am enjoying the heck out of what's going on with the Phillies. I think that so much on the watch they got so much swag right now. I think everybody picking on the National League side had either the grade of the Dodgers and I have a lot of friends that are now working with theme. I got a lot of grave.

There are a lot of teens expecting the great Glenn and Lake.

They ran into the bus dog. Who are the Philadelphia Phillies and I don't think there's a more exciting team right now than the Philadelphia Phillies. I think the Yankees have gotten absolutely taken aback by how good the guardians have played them how how close they played and they literally make the most lucrative laughed and just putting the ball in play and finding ways to scrap and win in Kent County allowed, but I don't know of any of those people need. I don't seem to go to gastro's but I can promise you that the networks are praying that the Yankees hold onto the long as possible because this is Indian against the Padres really really really upset, yes. You see, we process these things through television ratings way too much for my for my for my taste, so to the point where people are rooting for television markets as opposed to baseball teams denied somebody that told me over the weekend. How boring Philly versus San Diego was going to be and I'm like why you've got to teams that have high-end starting pitching.

If you haven't watch the Phillies and you haven't seen Wheeler and Nola pitch closer to high-end starters. San Diego is the same thing and Phillies Phillies got bats that bash syllabus so to San Diego. They have holes in their lineup but stopped becoming holes. They have one of the best players on earth who hasn't played great getting Juan Soto and they got many of the child one is boring because it's San Diego versus Philadelphia. Those are two findings which is not boring at all is not boring, not at all. The ball between third National League out. I think I need to give credit to the San Diego finding a way to somehow put Alder to be the Dodgers and did I really respect the heck out of that because it is no easy feat right on the Dodgers dilemmas that serve for them to finally topple that Goliath is just amazing.

But then shall the durable to Cohen work with here was free for five years ago over here in Durham and now you, he that you got the help put the Padres over over the Dodgers in some way shape or form.

The Phillies are like the most exciting team right now the Padres writing a high coming up the Dodgers if they think it boring that you have a lot in baseball and or are unwilling to admit that the team that they root for the boring thing to watch.

I do argue that the Mets became boring to watch because it's boring to watch a team continuously failed to hit with runners in scoring position and less than two outs and that's why the Mets didn't beat the Padres and plenty of opportunities to score and didn't do so and the Padres took advantage of their opportunities. Do you think Elliott Johnson that there is there is any credence to the by like the Braves and the Dodgers certainly did not hurt the Astros and it may not hurt the Yankees but any cranes at all to the fact that those byes didn't help those teams now now now now now now now now now now I've got no time to think about it out of the fight would I rather have a chance of potentially losing right out the gate, or what I taken out to get into the tournament later every 100 people out of 100 people that you ask her to take the opportunity to get in in the second round know you don't ever ever subject yourself to the potential opportunity of taking an early exit so no, I mean remember last year. Last year's only had the one the one game playoff play in game one wildcard team. I love the sundeck format ambience out of everybody whined and cried and complained about it because the team that they are rooting for law rules. We all agreed to it like I'm taking crazy pills with the FPL. Everyone hated it only because their team was on the outside looking in, but we all agree that with the format before the start you don't get to heaven on wine cry when your team loses. Given that the terms of the format and everyone agree to before the game start is what so I actually I'm okay with the format I get it but what comes with it is a watering down of the regular season and no team wins on paper to bring that back. No team going on paper. You guys don't care. None of them none of them really are even fazed by any kind of historical precedent, the Yankees are supposed to win. Nobody cares Yankees are not supposed to when and if they get knocked out by the Phillies.

You can feel a whole lot of disinterested
