Pleasant Tuesday morning to you this Tuesday right good things that are tingling more night. That's exciting to talk to Brett Pesci later will find out if he's excited about the morning. I'm sure Brett is so low-key about everything Brett rental go now this course right. That's what I was in enthusiasm. Can't you tell I will will go for our Brett that she will save you as a Yankee guardians picked tonight so I'll get a lot of stuff to do. I'm out of gold. Read through the Victoria is here.

I've been shorting her and_Twitter twitter handle now for about two months. Yeah it's at the_to_the_Victoria, there should be a limit to how many underscores you should be. I like to push it. Yes you do.

There's no question about that. Look, so yes, hollowing his crew is coming up soon coming up fast at home on Monday. Can't be good text they get to make the kids trick-or-treat like my son is too old to trick-or-treat now we don't we don't live in a neighborhood so he could trick-or-treat us right we have not had anybody come door door because again there are no homes and we are so but they can make the kids trick-or-treat on Sunday. Great question.

I know back in the day llama sound that way back in the matter what day of the week. It why did it matter if it was raining, you are walking those blocks that plastic mask on your face and knocked on the doors.

If you want that little snicker highlights I liked when when Jack was young we used to put them in a little law wagon and wheeled the wagon around and did Woodstock need to trundle out and walk up to Houston and then put back in the wagon and the wagon also held no beverages right because I mean way doing that without beverages. No, that's what we do multitenant bears but I hope hope everybody's prepared, we have to get the witches and cats out and will cauldron some we have some cobwebs of the stuff on the on the hedges. Why does somebody's got some spare dad now yeah I didn't guy that wrote polished off the whole bottle of wine last night and have sparkling wine and said I should have God save it for this week our breasts after they beat liquid programs.

No one no going beat the railroads are beatable right now. Let's talk got stuck stuff know this yesterday. The only fire Matt will note that he has to fix it coordinator Phil Snover's playbook to okay that's fine.

It is interesting because the defense has been the one shining light, but I would argue that I don't think they're so awesome that you can't do stuff out of the field all day all day, so it's hard to say that Phil Snow was the problem, but they have good personnel that had to battle some injuries. We know Jeremy chins out for a while, they just said so if some other things that they're dealing with. But for the most part defense been good so but I did not see that yesterday. My apologies. The fans want to see more than anything.

A plan yes and this is what you get when you are making a coaching change midstream is no plan. Steve Wilkes isn't a plan we will be great if they did well enough under Steve Wilkes to forget about making him a candidate I hope is a candidate. Either way, this is a solid individual. He's a good football coach, and if he can demonstrate leadership qualities. Then he can be a good head coach we don't know what it was a good defensive coordinator for going out to be head coach of the Arizona Cardinals that was, of course, at a time where every body who coached the defense here ended up as a head coach somewhere else. It seemed right to Greg McDermott boom trumpeter Greg Greg McDermott the basketball coach Sean McDermott in Buffalo. Steve Wilkes in Arizona. Wilkes, of course, didn't get your tube because they were salivating over Cliff Kingsbury seems like a sound decision out of man.

Arizona is just no good. Kingsbury is already. Admittedly, I guess we gotta get better.

No kidding, you really do get back I will get here some David Tepper sound here in a minute. My own opinion is relative to other potential NFL openings.

It's not really an attractive job for number of reasons yet there's defense there, but ultimately there's too much built rebuilding that still needs to take place and you're stuck it up point in time where your the good parts of your defense. By the time your offense catches up might be too old so sleep what is Christian McCaffrey have left maybe he has five years left Everett.

We really don't know. It would be awesome if he did which case hang on, but I know I know there are a lot of people and I don't disagree with it but think that stripping it down for parts is probably a good idea and build as much draft capital as you can, but we will see what they do will get back to sound about David Tepper and Mike Tannenbaum again has ruined two franchises in the AFC East and will see if he has suggestions to run the plant's video review coming to the rescue for roughing the passer penalties. While there is an oxymoronic statement right there because video review doesn't rescue anything.

This is my pay him editorializing. Chris Jones of the Chiefs last night.

Grady Jarrett of the Falcons Sunday. Each got hosed out of great defensive plays, but utterly ridiculous.

Roughing the passer penalties in the case of Jarret. It absolutely cost the Falcons a chance to win doesn't mean they were going to win.

It was 2115 at the time and the possession allowed the Buccaneers to pick up a first down run out the clock. If that penalty is not called, and it should not have been.

Then the Falcons get the ball back and again, you still have to go score the touchdown and the Buccaneers have a really good defense so chances are probably not but they had a chance and that was a terrible roughing the passer call unless all tackles like that are roughing the passer and we watched Thursday night as to it's on the file over to Thursday nights ago got tackled in exactly the same way.

No difference. Actually, I would say that too was was way harsher then Brady's bread. It was like gently almost coddled to the ground is just awful. Recall that penalty on Granger like the Jones penalty was. I mean, he tackled the quarterback nice I wanted 20 ton know what else he was supposed to do a lot unless he should've said hey Derek, will you please take me yeah so I don't get a penalty. I did that. There's just no nothing. He could have done differently not already got a penalty. Here's Andy Reid, chief said coach on Jones roughing the passer. You know I got the ball to the surge of our promotional event. So what I thought wasn't was right.

So this is what is Siebel I Chris Jones took their car so it should have been achieved recovery although it's not. It's alive penalty so would have negated it anyway but it should penalty kick the ball up by way of the NFL is considering using replay to help decide whether or not we have roughing the passer penalties or not, which you might remember this moment better than I do Victoria in the week one loss to Cleveland was not the first. The final drive by the Browns aided by a completely phantom Brian Burns roughing the passer penalty ice whispers like a blow to the head which never happened right so replay had replay been in place for this would have likely eliminated that penalty may be the Panthers win that game and maybe right now they're five and no because that's where we were to we were headed down.

But it was interesting is that I think was Arthur Smith of the Falcons said people are going to lose their jobs over these roughing the passer calls because they can impact games that we might have been that might've been autobiographical. There for Arthur Smith because he might but double geckos for all calls. Yeah, we have weight with too much replay as it is my feeling is that if we what's going to happen with roughing the passer penalties is the same thing that happens with every other instance where we use instant replay is that replay was always about getting the obvious mistakes from. It was not about the using Vista B is approved or fill and what we have now is we slow it down to the you know the millionths of a second and we we should not be doing. We should just be look at it real speed and move on.

If we can't tell real speed then sorry close enough, but let's just keep it moving, but that's not what they do and presto major-league baseball's replay for the playoffs has been very quick, at least the ones I've seen has been very fast and that's the way it's gotta be if were going to have it. We need to be boom art we looked at it, don't start nothing there. Let's let's keep it moving.

That's we need 10 minutes go by. Gosh, just terrible in college football source when we replay we review everything in college football.

We don't need to review whether or not it's roughing the passer to change the form on the Raiders 14 skip Las Vegas at chances last night.

They scored a touchdown to make it 30 to 29 about 4 1/2 minutes left and they went for two to try to take the lead not win the game. It's a complete misnomer to say that they were trying to win the game there because last I checked for 1/2 minutes. Whatever it was more than enough time for batch of molds is about 13 second 13. So here's Josh McDaniel, the head coach will McDaniel, whatever his name is we have a Mike McDaniel in Miami and Josh McDaniels.

Yes, I wish they would just pick one in Las Vegas. Here's Josh on going for to those I first one I think Josh is also going to be calling out the bus schedule later on, or that or is working at the drive through an Aquarian yeah yeah so what I have an idea what Josh was talking about. Is this a John breach coming up in about 15 minutes. I get the feeling that Josh McDaniels is constantly trying to impress his dad with how smart he is for the half minutes left. Yeah, whatever.

I mean honestly yeah just as good a chance of taking a one point lead as you do of falling short and obviously the latter happens.

They were up there were point down and that's how it ended but with that much time left to study and if Kansas City doesn't move the ball, which I guess is probably a long shot, although it that's what did happen if kids it doesn't move the ball you get back you just now. If there's a minute left. I like like if there's a minute left. I like if there is four minutes left thinker. You're overthinking things right so the last drawback to get the ball back and it went for to get a leg forth. In short, fourth, and wonder whatever was from near midfielder.

On the minus side, but they were just just so 46 is on the road to down the field.

No timeouts left, and I guess the past was intended for Devante Adams and then after the game. Devante Adams is walking off the field and he sure loves what looked like a camera guy. So here's Devante Adams on the play and the shop is causes frustration mixed with I watch the video Adams portrayal of what happened with the camera guy after the game is 100% accurate. Why is this why is this a story on the end.com guy just out of nowhere flashed in front of them think is some sort of income and adding figure shows an out-of-the-way got hurt.

So why are we doing this but also the past. Yes, Ian Hunter Renfro collided in the middle field sister was foreplay designed for route running.

I don't know but there's a reason you're one for this point that out though. They should be two and three.

Of course they lost a game that they lead by like 17 points at Arizona this year in the fourth quarter completely fell apart and were broken by Carla Murray on the two-point conversion still the best player the entire year. For by Arizona art real quick couple of quick things before you attempt major-league baseball playoffs start today Braves. Billy's first leg 1 o'clock on Fox.

Max freed for Atlanta Ranger Suarez for the Phillies Mariners and Astros next on TBS Logan Gilbert and Justin Verl and are just timber lenders 39 years old and he had. I don't know if was his best season ever, but it's on the short list of best convert Landers seasons absolutely incredible 174 ERA or some like that is lights out at home as well mannered guys just amazing.

Yankees owes the guardians Garrett Cole and Cal Cointreau that match up coal has been absolutely mediocre for the Yankees part of the reason why they struggled in the second half.

He's got a pitch well but the most important thing for all of these pictures is that they simply give them innings give your team innings get your team to the seventh-inning right just do that give get your team to the seventh with a chance nightcap in LA Dodgers owes the Padres, Julio Rios and Mike Clevenger in that when Joelle starts tonight. You don't National Hockey League games each on ESPN. Tampa visits the Rangers will have the New York debut of Vincent Truax check in that one Kings and the Golden nights in Vegas. ESPN picks the hurricanes to make it to the Stanley Cup finals. I hope that happens out that's not dissident. I don't have to figure out who they pick last year. I think they picked Tampa to make it to the image files which may be that maybe that'll work.

Keynes announced roster moves yesterday fans a little bit because the team sent Jordan Martin look to the minors, only they didn't, they sent Jordan Martin next contract to essentially page 2 of Friendly.com. All they did is do these are just paper moves designed to create Space.

Here's a promise which is: a 48 as an alternate captain Jordan Martin look will be on the left side of the fourth line. Whoever the center is.

I don't think it will be gesturing the opener. I believe Bill signed Derek step on later today or early tomorrow and he will like this is my guess. He will be in the starting lineup tomorrow night when the hurricanes take on the blue jackets but Martin look step on and I'm thinking Andre Kashi will be the fourth line left to right and I believe the keep one extra forward that'll be Stephan Mason and they will keep two extra defensemen for now and when you get right down to it I do think that a try and move Ethan bear but maybe not will sit all right. Let me let you get back today the temperature so David Tepper is the owner and he was available to the media and let's see why he thinks the decision was was made.

Why he decided to fire rule yesterday and not earlier. There's numerous reasons why you make a decision like that. Ultimately, I felt this was okay. I would've liked to have seen here, heard more forthcoming from Tepper with that decision because it's a valid reason to say because I like Matt and he didn't deserve what was coming his way. I want that that would be okay for me making a mercy firing because that's what I think most people recognize this like yeah for Matt's own good. It wasn't working out. He wasn't going to get here for. So let's move on to likes did not say thank you and say things yeah that that's a very very good point right now. He said I don't how many times he said getting over the hump. But here's what that means to David Tepper is shaking you did last or having finished winning more than you did last year looking like you going to win more than you did last year. That definition I don't think were over the hump for this year 5/2 seasons left the success of other seasons, so we have to we have to somehow change that culture. See how we can change our culture and try to, and whatever that takes, find that I should've fired him long time ago before this year, but that's another that's another story. David Tepper being patient with building out the roster and I think that is an organization we have to maintain patience and roster building in different positions and just a little bit more patient should be good and remembering all the times that we are in a limited resource business. We have the same amount of money to spend pessimistic.

Nobody has more. Nobody has the same amount of traffic is annexing nobody is more will be assessed. We have to make sure use that is as best we can really really consider them strategically think okay that's not really true. It just isn't true team.

There are certain teams who are who are better equipped to spend money because you can frontload a lot of contract with signing bonuses that give you better opportunities get players. So with that. So I think David Tepper's meetings not being completely weather is not being completely truthful there or I don't how to characterize it. I don't think he sits standing up there lying to everybody but is just not true. You can be more creative and if you have the wherewithal you can spend money they called putting stuff on a credit card the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they won the state I got when they won the Super Bowl couple years ago they brought back the whole team knowing that in about two years. The bill was coming due and they would ultimately be in salary-cap hell because they essentially decided to run it back with this group to pay these guys want bonus money stick double years on the contact us to salary-cap shenanigans and so not every tick. Every team is the ability to do that. So the panthers just haven't necessarily done that just yet. And finally the franchise quarterback conundrum for David Tepper. Let's hit us and we will find you and me personally but I believe you will have that person eventually. Yes I what I don't make good sound weird sound stupid.

It is possible that the franchise quarterback is on the roster, it is possible that the quarterback is named Baker Mayfield. Maybe the quarterback is Mack chorale.

I don't know it's probably not sandal but quarterback has been a problem for them is not because necessarily of the quarterback. I think it's been a problem because of the country and just the way that their offense is just utterly dysfunctional so will stick
