I know you guys had football things to discuss but there were so many other things that were on head coaches mines and where were talked about in the halls of the Weston. So how would you describe what those two days were like. What was your take away. I cannot remember asking your question about condition battle and that think axes I noticed a coach is then we did while you were in Charlotte because so many other issues have dominated the conversation over the last several months and yeah sure realigning is obviously one of them, but so are all the other thing that you alluded to in our series here that we ran last week about the future college football and where things are headed. Whether were talking about the transfer portal and an IL and so many other off the field issues had to remind myself no weight like stop going and we don some of the ninth about topics and remember to ask the coaches about back competition. Looking were all so laser focused on so many other dominated and so that's kind of what it felt like in Charlotte still that the focus wasn't 100% completely on the on the field football product and what that is going to look like pretty feet more filling the bigger picture issues that as it relates to what coaches are dealing with, but obviously what the ACC dealing with in terms of what future will look like one of my colleagues here will talk with Andrea Abelson from ESPN has been critical of the essentially the ACC expanded with and without getting into specifics. I'm all for removing let's make a reward and let's just go with it and make these games more attractive milk more marketable and what you can field rosters of players that are interested in playing this game making impact on the fees and how doable is it. I don't really think it's hundred percent completely doable. Never say never really hope that administrators are thinking outside the box and taking some outside the box approaches to death because they're the ones who were telling us that college football is in need of something to get out of this deep hole and headed into okay that's the way they're feeling that's the way they're approaching the situation. Why not change things up a little bit and make it to where you are finding different creative ways to do essentially the same thing you've always done in the innocent from ESPN is joining us here, desperation or survival causes people to think differently and I know during the pandemic year. It caused a lot of people to think differently. I've been very curious as to why we haven't seen bleed over from that. I thought we would see like the professional lives. I thought we would see like the NHL in the NBA schedule.

So if you play twice in a one team play twice on the road at another city knock them both out in one trip because it would be easier on your players. We haven't seen that.

Do you sense that we might see any.

I me any real different thinking in the sport or or is college football still to tide to traditions that drive really feel right now the college football still is too tied to tradition, so many traditions have been neglected during realignment over the last decade and 1/2 right. I mean so many of the games that we all like to see and want to see are no longer played and we just got along with it as if it's no big deal because we still want to have our college football fell so you know I feel like I'm talking on both sides. I'm out here when I say no because welcome grade traditions and yet come tradition longer exist, but you know in terms of what the calendar looks like and really thinking long and hard about that about travel, especially with what happened with USC and UCLA joining the Big Ten you feel like travel to be reimagined and politely West Virginia what they had to go through in the big 12, not just for football for all their other sports yet right teammate re-imagination of what needs to be done there.

I personally on an Olympic sport level.

Would love to see far more regional games played, and maybe a select number of conference game because I just think that helped everybody it help or it helps with whatever the financials are to look like you don't know II know everyone is tied to a conference, but does it make a ton of sense for Syracuse to be spending a large portion of its kind in North Carolina on 3 Different Rd. trip right you know and that's just one example.
