Jesus Cares One-On-One, Part 2

Greetings friends of new listeners and welcome to the sound of faith.

Sharon not thanking you for joining us today because we know Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Today's message is a true heart uplift or Jesus cares one on one. The Gospels are chock-full of the messages and miracles. Jesus ministered to the multitudes who throng everywhere he went, but he was never too busy to stop everything to minister to just one hurting heart were sick body because Jesus cares one on one verse 15 then the woman set on the server. Me this water that I thirst not, neither comehither to draw.

She still think a natural right, and Jesus said to her okay but first, go call my husband to comehither and the woman answered and said I have no husband and Jesus said unto her, thou hast well said or you had answered honestly. I have no husband for you and had five husbands and heal now now has is not my husband in that you spoke truly and the woman sat on him was Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

He's really getting close now so let's look at verse 20 our fathers, our fathers worshiped in this mountain that would be the mountain in Samaria and you say you're a Jew and you say in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Why would they say that because God said that's where I put my name in my house in Mount Zion.

Amen.

And Jesus said on her woman. Believe me, the hour comes when you shall neither in this mountain nor yet a Jerusalem worship the father. The father you worship, you know not what we know what we worship for salvation is on the Jews. But the hour times and now here is when the true worshipers shall worship other. In truth, for the father seeks to worship him. God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in his urine and in truth.

So let's stop here for a moment. So Jesus says to her, he's very tactful.

Amen.

And he says I'm going to give you some of this water but I want you to share this water that I'm about to give you so I want you to go home and tell your husband to come here so he can drink this water to amen. So now what did Jesus make a mistake, didn't he know that she wasn't married and so he made a mistake when he said, go, call your husband know we already see that's not true, of course, not what he was doing was drawing her in. Amen. He was drawing her in and instead of just jumping on her and say you know I know you're living with somebody he said, go get your husband and because this woman sinful. As she was quite sinful, married five times and now shacking up with somebody as sinful as she was. She said I had no husband. She was honest and you know when somebody's heart is honest when they are ready to acknowledge their sin no matter how Clemson no reason to gather all your sins may watch that one may be wise that one will, but she said I hadn't seen her for her honesty. She said I have no husband. You have spoken well. You have spoken honestly and one thing God wants is an honest heart. I don't care how broken I don't care how black I don't care how sick she was. The public was the wedding and the Pharisee looked down his nose at the publicans and I think God I'm not like other men. But Jesus said the publican wouldn't even raise his hand smoke his breast and said God be merciful to me a sinner. Jesus said that the guy who was justified knowing God heard the prayer God answered, amen.

So she had an honest heart. Amen. And this is very important because this is how people get to see the Bible says sin is a deceiver. They get caught up in the deceitful list of sin and one of those things is to come up with rational realities about why what they're doing is not really a sin and we really live in a day when sin is not what it used to be. Amen.

But Jesus by the Holy Spirit new it had to be a word of knowledge of the Holy Spirit gave to him because they didn't have Facebook back then for some might account the five husband.

She used to be married to. Amen. The Holy Spirit had to tell him you've already had five husband. You told the truth about that, and you've told the truth that this one is not your husband. Let me make this clear. You can make getting clearer than this living together does not constitute marriage because Jesus just said he's not your husband and that what he said. He said the manager living with is not your husband.

These are paper. Jesus said he's not your husband, your living with them your living together your cohabitating but cohabitation is not marriage in God's sight. Amen. So he says you had five husbands and the one you're living with now is not your husband. Amen. You know Christianity is the only true faith that deals with the person's past. It's the only one that deals with the person's past no matter how sinful it is and you know David said in Psalm 25.

Seven. Remember not the sins of my youth nor my transgression.

I know every person here today if you could go back and start over again if you could go back and relive your teen years are your young 20s reaming authorities. How many would just lift your hands say I do a lot of things differently all of your there still your teens and 20s look at the amen and I will go so far as to say these people. People were in the church during that time in charge, but it thinking they'd redo something, but the thing I love about I just read to you. He says don't remember the sins of my youth and I love what he said in Psalm 103 10. He has not dealt with me according to my sins, nor rewarded me according to my iniquities.

Why is that the way and there under the blood. There's nothing to deal about. And Christianity is the only thing that does not, amen.

So now he's on put her on the spot and told her well now you had five husbands, and now you're just shacking up and we know what you call yourself a Samaritan when you call yourself a Jew when you call yourself a halfbreed when everyone call yourself that is said. So now she says well Sir I perceive you are a prophet. I don't know she's trying to complement them a little bit odd� Trying to butter him up.

I don't know why I can't say I'm not her, but I think he's getting real close to stepping on her toes and she's trying to find a diversion, a diversion tactic here. Amen.

You see, Jesus is not going to fall for that now.

There may be some folks today. While I see that you really are an apostle of God apostle. You're a prophet and then all of a sudden their ego kicks in this dull-witted mission kinda gets pushed to the back. But Jesus wasn't going to fall for that people love to change the subject when they're under conviction. That's what they're going to do is try to come up with some religious controversy well where they can get his life.

Well, sister. Obviously, because then you get the human race.

No and be over 900 years on how many kids he had night you can have a lot we all go back to everyone. Go back to and so once Adam and Eve were now you know after they send in all that they begin to live life the way God created them. He said be fruitful and applied.

That's what he told be fruitful and multiply.

So obviously, Kane had to get his sister amen. For that matter. We know that Sarah and Abraham were half-brother and half-sister. It wasn't until the law of Moses that God then defined what he would and would not allow and where there is no law there is no transgression.

You know, we can't say to somebody working to get corporate trespassing walk on our property unless we have a no trespassing sign, and then it's got to be a legal thing and try to think that why all these babies dying over there in Africa and India will do anything to try to get a diversionary tactic going and if they know what even a little tiny bit about the Bible. They just know a little here and a little there. They will try to come off like there's some theological expert. Amen. And so when they do that human nature, even for Christians in born-again people we want to show them the error of their ways.

We one of them. Pick a new argument. Now what is shown when you're wrong.

Get off the whole point your thirsty, you need something you need something you don't have your spirit is crying out for the living God. Amen.

So he wouldn't let her get away with that. So when she say our fathers worshiped in this mountain, but you Jews say were to worship in Jerusalem. That's exactly true. They said worship in Jerusalem see they had perverted the Jewish faith. They had their own temple in Samaria. They had their own house of God. They went in worship in scenario so that means that was against 1.when you set up Israel and the house of God in Jerusalem. So you see, the corruption might bear.

Amen. And so she's still trying to divert the argument, but Jesus brought her back to the real real issue and the issue was this lady do you know God, do you really know God. Do you have a relationship with God because I tell you that hour is coming, and it is right now that they that worship God must worship in is.

And in truth because what I plan on giving geographically, but do you ship him ship the risk say now he's bringing in relationship when the father seeks those who will worship him in.

And in truth, so it is true worship that tells me there is false worship. Like I preached a few weeks ago.

You can had error.

You can have false you can have allies unless you have truth because lie and error is a distortion of truth.

Amen. So if there is true worship. There's got to be false worship. And Jesus showed you one of the ways that false worship is manifest with this woman. She claimed that she worshiped in the mountains somewhere like the Samaritans did well first of all, now you got false doctrine. I don't care what kind of church you hadn't gotten the greatest choir in the band and orchestra and all that go with it. If you are preaching false doctrine. You're not worship in spirit and in truth or even if you are in a church that preaches true doctrine and you're out there on the platform in your part of the worship team or the choir or the musicians or whatever and you are living in sin you're living in fornication and adultery and homosexuality. Whatever it may be that is not true worship. Amen. That's false worship. If you want to worship in truth, you gotta live in truth the other day my daughter Sarah was telling me about these neighbors that they had next-door and she said that they Live parties and they get really loud and rowdy and sometimes they have to say something to them about. You know, could you tow it down some. So she was shocked the other day when she was talking to the woman and the woman said to her, using a sometimes going in and out on Sunday morning without guitars. It's because were going to church because were the worship leaders.

Sarah almost fell down. Now the thing about Sarah is she knows sin, and she knows when she's not doing right and live in right. Amen. But she was shocked to see that these people were the worship leaders during the week. There have any loud parties and drinking and smoking the whole thing goes with it. But on Sunday mornings to get on their Sunday closing get their guitars and go to church and they lead the worship and so this is not something that unusual. It's not an anomaly. It happens all across churches in America today.

All across churches in America today there Christian band. They play in charge and they play Mars. Amen.

This is what I do not believe that you can interpret, you must worship the Father in spirit and in truth and worship with sin in your life. Amen.

If you're not a pure vessel before the Lord.

He says the father is seeking such to worship him in spirit and in truth and getting back to what I said a minute ago that Chris Lahm, I mean how in the world can Christians and Muslims come together in a Christian church and say we are worshiping the same God because one of the middle pillars of Islamic faith is Allah has no son. That's one thing they quote they quote it every day.

A lot has no son, and they know that to be true. A lot has no son. Well, if a lot has beenalieisnotafatherandafollowmeonthat.He'snotthere.AndJesussaidthereareislookingforthosewhowillworshipinspiritandintruthyouaregettingaMuslimtosaythatJesusisthesonofGodthatwedoitandtheyevenlikeJesusbutwillbenonon-sothere'snowaytheChristiansandMuslimscanworshiptogetherworshipthefatherandintruthandthatthechurchsayso.ThiswomanhadtofacethetruththatshewaslivinginsinandthatshedidnotknowGodasherfather.Shedidn'tknowthemasherfatherandthat'swhatpeopledonottellyouallaboutthereligiousactivitiesthattellyouallaboutthethingstheydo.Butyougoteveryonebacktothepoint.DoyouknowGodisyourfatheranhonestheartwillhavetosay,wellnotreally.Amen.BecauseifyouknowGodisyourfather.There'sonlyonewaythatyoucanknowGodasyourfatheralreadyJohn14sixnoincomesontofatherbeUKfather�youknowJesusasyourLordanddidnotbuttherearemanyreligionsinbasicwanttobypassJesusandclaimtheyknowGodtheydonotknowGod,theyarenotworshipingGodinspiritandintruth,becauseyoucan'tknowGodwithoutJesus.Verse25whatweleftoff.Thewomansaidonhim.IknowthatMessiahcomes,whichiscalledChristwhenheiscomingwilltellusallthings,andJesussaidunderher.ThisisoneofthoseremarkablepassagesinthewholeNewTestamenttoaSamaritanwomanofillrepute.HesaidIspeakuntotheendwhathewouldnotsaytothereligiousleaderswhathewouldnotsaytothePhariseesandtheSadducees,andallthoseotherpeoplewhathewouldnevercomeoutandsaytothenhelookedatthisfullSamaritanswomanandsaidonhimINMessiahIandMessiahthatissopowerful.Itellyouanothermessagealtogether.Butthegospelwasagamechangerforwomen.Thegospelwasthegamechangerforwomenandthisisoneoftheepisodesrighthere.WhysaythatamensoshesaysIknowwhenMessiahcomes.Hegoesontosay,anduponthiswhathappens.Hisdisciplescameandmarveledthathetalkedwiththewoman,yetnomansaidwhatsteepesthour.Whatareyoutalkingwithher.Thewomanthenleftherwaterpotandwendingherwaytothecityandsaidtothemen,andseeunmannedwhichtaughtmehiisnottheChrist,theMessiahlab,soshestilltryingtobereligious.AllIknow.WhenMessiahcomes,isgoingtotelluseverythingandhesaidallhethatspeakstoyouIandMessiah,andthissaidMessiah,twothingshappened.Thediscipleshowedupwithlunchandwhenheshowedupwiththewoman,herwaterpotandaIthinkIknowwhohewas.Ithinkshemight'veknownsomeoftheguysshetoldmeaboutmeonlyonewaytogetyoutheonlyonethatcandothatherecomesthediscipleswealreadyreadinthebeginningwhathappened,theywereshocked.Theydidn'tknowwhattosaybecauseherehe'stheSamaritanwomanthatmessedupalltheirtheologyrealbadandthenhethoughtwillchangesomemoneymustbetoseewithlunch.Amen.Butyousee,Jesuswasinhiselement.HewasministeringtouswholemultitudesinceourAbudegree.Thisiswhatfillsmeup.Thisiswhatsetasideformenothungryanymore.Amen.BecausehegottowitnesstothisonewomanallthepowerofthegospelandallthetestimonyofonepersonwhoselifehasbeenradicallychangedbyanencounterwithJesusChrist,yourtestimony,thetestimonyofonethatwassavedbythegraceofJesusChristisnotlaterwhatGodisdoneforyou.Lookatverse39,andmanyoftheSamaritansofthatcitybelievedonhimforthesingingofthewomanwhichtestifiedhetoldmeallthatIeverdid.SowhentheSamaritanswere,andtohimtheybesoughthimthathewouldcarrywiththemandheabodethereto,andneedmorebelievebecauseofhiswordandsetunderthewoman.WebelievenotbecauseofthesameinfowehaveheardourselvesandknowthatthisisindeedtheChristtheSavioroftheworld.Alleluia.ThetestimonygotthemtoJesus.Yourtestimonygetsthemtothatbreakgetstothatplacegettothatpoint.Amen.Soitgotthere.Interesting.theythoughtthisisawoman.LikeIsaid,IthinkalotofthemknewIhadsomeexperiencewiththiswoman.AmensofarhavecomeinthiscityinthemiddleofthedaytellingeverybodycomeandseethismanintonedeverythingIdidnotseewhatwasgoingonwasn'tanythinglikethat.ShebroughtthemtoJesus.Nowwearenottoldwhathesaidtothem,butbelieveyoume,Jesuscoulddoalotintwodayswhenheleftthere,theyhadtobehealedfromthecrownoftheirheadtothesolesoftheirfeet.TheyhadtobefullofthespiritofGodintruthitall,theirtheologyprobablygotitalloutandfixeditalluptoshowtheliesandfilledtheairandgotthemallcorrectedinthetruthsotheycanworshipGodinspiritandintruth.Amen.Sotheycamebecauseshesaidhetoldmeeverythingaboutmeandtheylookedatthiswomanandshewashappyshewasn'tafraidshewasn'tashamed.Amen.BecauseJesusistheonepersonthatyoucanopenupyourhearttoandsharewithhimanythingandeverythingnomatterwhatitisyoucansharewithJesusandhewillneverchangeyouhewillnevershameyouamenyouarewithJesusyouare.Iwantyou.comandonandyou'resomaybethingsinyourhearttroubleyou,andyouhaveonehumanbeingbecauseyourfriendifyoudid,theywouldjudgeyouharshlyandyouwouldbesoembarrassedandsoshamefultoadmitthatyoudidsuchandsowerewerepartofwhateveritmight'vebeen,butyouaresafewithJesus.Amen.YouaresafewiththeLordsothatJesustheyhearhimtoseehimavoidtheircuriosityreallykickedinandtheywantedtocomeandseemewhoisthis.she'stalkingabouthertestimony,herwordsareenthusiasm.ShallIbroughtthemtoJesus.Butitwashiswordsthatsetthemfree.Becausetheysaidhowwebelievewebelieveamenandthat'swhatweneedtodo.WeneedtotellthemwhatGodhasdoneallthingsandnotbeenthroughandI'vebeenthroughalotofthings,buttheLordalwayssendsomebodymywaythat'sgoingthroughsomethingsimilaryoucangivethemScriptureandthewordofGod,whichIdo.Butletmetel
