SICU Mayor playing down the border crisis happily in his own city trying to pay him off with federal funds will talk more today.

Unsecured keeping you informed and now this is what the city of El Paso has been absolutely as he does mention the post is reporting the White House has privately pressured El Paso's Democrat mayor to not declare an emergency there who want to hear from you, call McCright mayor of El Paso. Oscar Lee surveyed his own statement to the New York Post, writing up our quote. I don't doubt a pressure from any side I make decisions based on current circumstances and in the best interest of the citizens of El Paso and now your home secular because you other cities were dealing with the budget crisis like El Paso. These border cities have got the same message from the White House, which is don't declare state of emergency, even though that's with the Democratic mayor wanted to do.

Initially it was being pushed by city counselors do so, but world will send you FEMA funds but just to give you an example of how much money it's costing the cities to deal with the illegal immigration in the crisis of the border for just El Paso just for their emergency funds at their supposed to get reimbursed from the federal government.

They have only gotten 2 billion of the $8 million they've already spent so these cities are rely a lot on by the administration promises that ultimately you will get these checks written so you'll be able to replenish your city's funds now. Also at the same time El Paso this is a Democrat mayor again who is all been on this Christian about the buses you go to New York or the Chicago modality cities and he's at and and Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City came out attacking the city of El Paso say we did ask El Paso to do this and this is the guy who rate is there with the city for everybody with a place to cover everybody with the sanctuary this the Statue of Liberty city okay well if you really are that she build to take 17 to 25,000 immigrants it's your to be pretty easily into a city that size, but is causing trouble there and what the bear said in El Paso that was.

He said listen were not forcing anybody go there when we we have these people we've done. I think they've done a number of hundred 96 buses for total of 9300 people in a bass so 7300 wanted to go to New York so this they let him go to New York in late they paid their way to New York about 2000 went to Chicago because that's where they want to go so it's not surprising that this is where they have contacts so the White House has asked specifically El Paso to not declare a state of emergency at his door and said they will give them money to offset this but they don't want that declaration of an emergency. Now is doing said that the Democratic mayor of El Paso knows they got an emergency situation. There and the transfer of people out El Paso to New York is based on, as you said there decision.

The decision of the people that came into the states illegally. That's where they want to go maybe family ties, whatever it might be. But here's what's neat. The irony of all of this.

I think the danger of all of this is this not a Republican versus Democrat issue. This is cities being overrun and not being able to handle the volume of people involved in this and that is the real problem here. So when you have that happening, you gotta say to yourself what can the city do and that's what they decided to do, but the but the President say don't declare a state of emergency and why do you think he decided not to declare state of emerging could it be because boy that's luckily very good so that using FEMA funds or sub there some work around here that there be able to utilize for utilizing FEMA so the federal emergency funds to the cities but they're able to do it by saying cities don't declare states of urgency. We know what declare state of, or to register by today a few weeks after the election less than three weeks now people are devoting in many states.

Sally really election day begins now because of early voting, and if they declare state they declared a state of emergency. The southern border that it would kill Democrat chances of even holiness. It so to play games with your taxpayer dollars. But even going after Democrats.

That's that that's the far they will go to try play this game if there is not actually emergency. There's actually crisis at our southern border gives a call 1-800-684-3110 secular culture of this one 800 want to you in these communities is towns or cities and feel the impact of the illegal immigration what what is of course the numbers of people so the resources it takes from communities which just don't have the size don't have the numbers don't have the people to do it.

The second is we have a federal government that doesn't want to acknowledge the problem so their talent cities and states don't declare state of emergency, but will said you emergency funds it with this is that had to be a interest again the humanitarian disaster here is gigantic.

The fact that yesterday Beverly reported the DoD they got that the call to say hey if you want to go for 60 days volunteer. This is also were credits going up to every federal agency now so you could be a Department of Justice attorney take 60 days to go clean up trash the border to be getting paid more because that would be a different declaration like they needed to sit with special people down. But of course this is again they don't would have to actually knowledge how bad it is. So they're trying to use all these workarounds that won't make that have to declare emergencies and use the emergency title because that's what we've all been saying it is. It's a crisis. Emergencies should be declared that way. It's really the biggest threat we face directly as a country right now we come at a coven. So now you think this would with the drugs are coming across with human trafficking coming across. This is in the crime. This is the problem plaguing our our country. One of the major put problems of the economy and has a direct effect of the economy that the cities and how to say we can afford to locate what is state.

The cities received $2 million from the federal government okay so that that's what they got. The reality is they've already spent over 8 million. You know that's underreported because these things run Munson but in arrears so you got eight economic crisis and spacing the city and then you got a a mayor who wants to declare an emergency that the city Council least remember the city Council declared the national emergency that will help get additional funds in but the reality is, if you look at what's happening.

This becomes a political statement, but then as you said This from Fox news. I think this can't misstatement sums it up, take a listen are voluntary sources. Our accusing the White House of quote circumventing an emergency declaration at the southern border by borrowing labor from across the federal government instead of asking Congress for additional funds to stem the border crisis so the maker is getting these additional funds she sheets. I don't bow to pressure from any side and make decisions based on current circumstances in the best interest of the citizens of El Paso with the best interest of the citizens El Paso right now be get funds there get money there so they can address this got me that's that that's the whole issue and so I get would take your calls 164, 31 to the 2000 684-3110 Santa Barbara and Utah on line 1 a barber, the world and all the money and they're not really doing anything to come down. The board lived there for a week with my grant make decisions.

I would ask you question your politics and wish to do this more and more people college from states that the news what they will go. The vice President present. There certainly actually sexy humanity drink that imagery does. It looks like they've allowed a problem to go from what it was being handled was a perfect is being handled by the trust administration. There were solutions being done to just totally out of control so that because then I can assure they machine the barbecue still with us. I wanted asked you about the election because a lot of news on the Senate race in Utah. Our good friend Mike Lee stated that there is a poll came out that showed Devin McMullen drugs independent, but he's really Democrat. It is very close.

What are you picking up from your friends and family about that all will keep changing whatever he think what people want to hear nothing but a liar on the day. Ultimately, I think likely will ultimately hardly that's even a close race. You will sometimes you want to cease you want to sound the alarm because certain vote to make sure if you're he beats resources. The start does work admit Robbie's bid a real problem because he's the only US Sen. Republican Sen. that has it endorsed likely his excuses are friends of both of them, but the balance of power, whether admit Robbie's audit committee whether he's on unbelief as I think you have a risk to the he's Canada I think so.

I'm like a closet. We've known him a long time, and any data can list her that's made him very nicely habit this is this is bad politics and maybe does make sense of your Republican serenity is he got a house and Senate that are I'm enacting the house clearly looks like it's going to be the publicans. The Senate folks anybody that saying I actually said life. Hey, it's going to be, you know, the momentum is now here, the Republicans have the momentum to expose Democrats and become out of three or four states, and it probably comes down to Pennsylvania and Georgia and right now Pennsylvania Georgia it's too close to call. A sentence I don't you think. Yes you cancer predicts first of all things can happen. People are devoting this there's always a group it's pulling is tougher that import trade polling is one thing showed rates tie short your people would blow out.

But when he started to sell you 34 points, that's anybody. Anybody can win. At that point Lester at like nine Ted, I think it really is. I'd see these days Lester in that like double digit catapult where you can really see a trade. The posters really figure out every ratio we await so you can't take anything for granted. Turnout is key. Is this like this proton, but with El Paso while because if immigration is now the border insecurity is affecting every every state how you think that's gonna play out in the election when you see that things like don't declare state of emergency. That's not an increase.

Why is that the reason is a lousy optic yeah yeah I was just a door, declare state of virtue but now they have the Democrats because you got this bear got pulled out of this because of Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, so the merit El Paso had to respond to the Democrat. The two Democrat mayors are going after each other in the buy demonstration sitting in the middle and really not doing anything handing out some resources. But as I said all of the 8 million already spent by El Paso over the funds they have available they will would be reimbursed $2 billion. That's small numbers for the federal government but it just shows you they got sold this this game of will use the federal emergency fund don't declare state of emergency and by the way, I don't like that these bears are getting pushed around, but they also try to get the funding for this bear said as I do make a decision it was best for the city with a buy restriction came and said don't do this will give you this way resources he say I chose the resources to get the apartment just as DoD. All these agencies.

DHS others saying get your volunteers down here window pay you everything. Listen to what Congressman Mike Walters that is been on this broadcast reporting. Listen, I will be certainly looking into what DoD officials that are apparently going to order on a volunteer basis are focused on back in the Pentagon, the opportunity cost of this action, rather than just coming to Congress in dealing with an aboveboard way is really concerning to me this is the problem.

I mean, in an instant, who doesn't think that this is not a national emergency. Is there anybody on any political party but doesn't think this is this is a national emergency.

We don't have control of the owner and the migration crisis is Israel and it's getting worse in the months ahead.

Here's what really makes here are selling about. I would say it's because I've followed a rubble just started doing the push notification.

So if you're a subscribe if you subscribe to the ACLJ rubble page. Make sure your notifications are tapped out her dog so go there Yorty subscriber for.subscribe if that's how you watch the broadcast interact and make sure you've turned on notification so you get the push notification.

We were live on secular but I'm still on people the chance to say I think they get a cheat.

I think the you and I think this is the problem. If you go in with that mindset. Are you. You can't win if you don't vote, so it you got to stop that messaging. The messaging should be less overwhelmed the system. Let's let's have somebody Republicans and conservatives independent shop to vote Republican, that there's no way to treat that the it was that your big of a victory at because when you start telling people it's a waste of time. I will tell you I voted wherever the primary usually take five minutes here. Took 45 minutes this year so I definitely voted early 40 think that's gloomy.

I think because I live in a swing district. This newly redrawn and the Democrats got a little bit of up of a push behind because of the abortion issue. So like I was telling Art RT I've never seen it in a state like we live in which is a very red state statewide abortion, pro-abortion signs in people's yards for election something vote for choice of here's the candidates to vote for.

So they saw the surgeon seesaw had people showed up in primaries that never would've voted before so I think again you could do poll watching. Do what's do what's right. Make sure if you can volunteer to do that.

That is wonderful that is great but you got to get out the vote. If you and you are I will tell all of you all of you who say they're going to cheat or to steal your the reason why we loose your suppressing our own vote. Don't buy you they love you doing this, you understand that they love you say there is a cheat there to steal that 3 AM this is exactly what they want because guess what your neighbor is I can state applied three hours to vote if that's the case. If you would convince them that their vote. A waste of time. Your hundred 50 this is gonna be one worth you don't vote early this really long lines will encourage. Also, if you're not getting in downloading the secular brothers podcast you need to do a Logan and Jordan do what they do a great job.

It's funny, it's serious. It's content that that's news analysis but it's got a lighthearted edge to it. You can get whatever you get your podcast, I encourage you to subscribe to that today also support the work of the American Center for Law and Justice, at a minimum talk a lot about fundraising this month. But again, your support of the ACLJ makes all this possible, including coming to five days a week with news analysis with a full team but give you animals will be joined by some of those coming after the break and our legal work around the world. ACLJ.org back more in the moment security your phone calls. What hundred 60, or 31 two that's what hundred 684-3110 and a week to talk about the issue El Paso the immigration issue we would up to US ACLJ victories as well on a life in ACLJ work what's going on to it. Of course you always do that.

ACLJ.org we go with this busy time you're 20 days out from the election day people are devoting many states across the country are sitting in their balance of the states and have that mail-in ballot system adds working to keep update your that's could be adopted story, but we do want to make sure you know what were doing at the ACL tear. You know it's interesting because of the abortionist which is playing is a is a big issue because of the Dobbs decision and that activated some on the left of center that what said you know that we gotta do this to Joe Biden's said that the President said if the Democrats retain the house of representatives of first things are going to do is try to codify Roe versus Wade.

So you you got the political momentum then we get into some of the specifics of what were doing, but I think Ramon is important understand that political aspect of this to very distinct worldviews on the issue of life ceasing your seen them play out in the political world, absolutely. You see pro-lifers which tend to be conservative and Republican standing for life. Amen. And you know battling to protect the life of unborn babies, and then you see the Biden administration at every single turn whether it's at on at the VA or with his chest statement that if we now take over at Congress, we will codify Roe. He is constantly making pro-abortion statements and and trying to take over and federalize the abortion issue a take it back from the state Senate doing some federal advising Jordan of the abortion issue because of what the administration is put forward on the veterans administration is right. We talked about that with the VA already attempting to get turn those VA's into more exclusive thing VA secretary was announcing hey we would like this proud of their regard. We did abortion did get into details about whether or not it was what they would've Artie been okay under their system like it was a life decision that had to be made, but we know that their entire goal is to to somehow circumvent what's recorded stud and still turn federal facilities into abortion clinics. So we got a letter that we sent off to the VA talking about. It's our comment section for this interim rule under with a calling reproductive health care. This letter went out yesterday cc let's talk about what were asserting in this last so we did public comments resubmitted public comments and and what the Biden administration did through the VA, they circumvent not only whites, the Supreme Court had setting Dobbs but they actually they circumvented the administrative procedures act.

By doing this interim rule and not letting a public comment period go on before they actually enforce the rule, but they also circumvented an actual law on the books that says that the VA cannot perform abortions, but yet the Biden administration went around that went around the that procedures act and put this interim rule in which we are now submitting public comments that are we coming That it not only violates the on administrators, administrative procedures act, but also that it violates a rule on the books that disallows the VA from performing abortions. We also through ACLJ action 11th over 11,000 ACLJ accident members and supporters. They found their own comment using our tool three will do the ACLJ comment hundred 37,000 ACLJ supporters and then through ACLJ action were able to give you the tool which we have in place that ACLJ action.org 11,000+ of you actually sit your own coveted so this dual effort that were Sega get it and they have to respond to each one you and that's on the federal level.

So that's how handling on the federal level were they made this move the VA now. There's also the smooth and states and we seen this language start coming up this perinatal language and that's very damaging because at his post birth and were trying to get to the bottom of how in the world did they decide they pro-abortion side that that was the that was good to be there marker. That's where they were to come in and say hey this is where were going to do this were not been others working to defend the word perinatal. We got three different demands going out underwear called the basically the open records act. In California yet so we been filing that perinatal bell and now it is a law because Gov. Neeson signed it into law. And I'll just remind everyone that that that is the line California that says a person cannot be subject to criminal liability for perinatal death, which means death.

After the baby is born. Now we absolutely no objected to that language.

They didn't make an amendment after our very loud objection and added due to causes that occurred in utero.

What's so important about that is, they don't. That same law does not allow a corner to investigate.

That said, basically, if a baby dies about 28 days and after their death. There is no criminal liability for that. So we sent a legislative note and represent to be clear that was.

I think CC to protect the abortionist, absolutely because we now that they they lack babies be born alive and babies are born alive during an abortion. And these abortionist can absolutely let that baby die on the table. They don't have to do anything to protect that life to join in the political unit were due three weeks out. Not even from bogus remix exactly from midterm election is to be very significant.

How big of an issue at this point, the Democrats want to be the only issue so Joe Biden today's and announce the a federal agency, if Democrats win seats in the house the Senate to put forward this to your federal legislation to codify Roe.

We see this number ties are being announced by a bite, but again he's give the tribe make this the good of what issue it was a very tricky top issue six weeks ago, now it's not. That's inflation to the economy. Now, I still think that there could be in these very close races. A group of people. Obviously that's why Biden is doing this and the Democrats are pushing this who could be motivated by the issue in it in a way against Republicans and so we have a very close race of two or three points and we produce a pull Iglesia objections of these life initiatives close at it there upside down even conservative Republican states people like the way the word they don't understand it's concert it's changing Constitution we work on a number of the states yes and that just has died.

Just the education and the the other side has dumped you to good so it a lot of state tentacles who Republican victories and potentially losses on making sure you're not going to find a right to abortionist icons and the problem is.

This is where Planned Parenthood and these groups have unbelievable unlimited resources CC spend money on this and yes this is what they do and have been planning for that sense, Dobbs said before Dobbs yet because I saw that got leaked cell in a day have been planning this. You confuse the issue suspect, especially on ballot initiatives that the language is so confusing that you don't know whether to vote yes are now based on that language.

And so people need to be very educated when they go to the polls. If there's an issue like that on your ballot and you know people that are pro-life and he did not think that Dobbs was the end to this battle. They need to get out billing about and you know it's gonna be seen in November the selection abortion is an issue not the top issue, but it's definitely me right around the corner from SOC and and has an article out yesterday that says focus on abortion rights may not be enough to save Democrats in face of economic concerns. In other words, the economic concerns now torn outweighing the abortion interest, I think so. A people.

These are these are issues where people don't think about 40 gas, food, planning also them because we told you know I will target this we come back second and found the broadcast is a strategic oil reserve the use of that to keep the price down affect the case of what is the price for the visa.

People are very concerned about what the economy looks like postelection with the Democrats have used everything possible to try to artificially keep prices down to some extent what you enjoy the broadcast 164 30 wanted to give us a call right back.

Second four decades ACLJ has been on the frontline protecting your freedom is defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. If you're not well this is the perfect time to stand with us, ACLJ.org, where you can learn more about our life-changing work become a member today ACLJ keeping you informed and now Jordan's secular secular to your phone calls to what hundred 64, 31 to be really good to the oil issue.

The gas usually the energy issue because the White House can attempt back into the strategic reserve yet again depleting that reserve for political purposes, which is issue.

We talked a lot about by Pompeii would record ballot. That's not why it's there. It's their first world war for cut off if you got your serious issues instead of using it to keep prices down to some extent delegates. That's not really working and we did to some international issues to with a rod and Russia at that Alliance that is been building between those two countries was for the phones at 100-684-3110 will start with Gwen in Georgia. That's a big battleground state this year at Dagley walk-through so your beer you with us, here in Georgia and now I just wanted to tell you that I will be voting irregularities in the 2020 election everything. It's I think it to strengthen the long here in Georgia and all over again. This goes to a Georgia accident yet.

Yes, it lets clarifier laws. What I could do this crazy covert stuff to get if that happened, where you know working six mailing out ballots.

I am not telling this group of folks who was bad about the last election cycle that they're all wrong because it was there was crazy stuff I three ballots.

It's my house. They got to be various ways because I moved around the country and those that had been taken off yet.

Three live ballots not request live a live ballots so I get it, but we should see that at that level is not a general election states like Georgia, putting new laws in place so that you would have these moves made by local okay we have begun. Each county was changing rules as a wetsuit. You have to have rules, the game I get that we had this election cycle rules are there third-place the states with melodic criticism.

A lot of name-calling in the states they lost, you know, the All-Star game in Georgia over making sure there is election integrity.

So if your state was willing to go to bat for you lose make major business and economics for your state, go to tell me you not get a vote or fear your vote will better because they think they would to bat for you.

So if you're the state that said let's make it better.

Let's make it clear I Georgia did. Then I think yes they all eat. Your job is to turn out the vote, escaping into turnout election.

There are close to Kathy's call coming in the online to Welcome broadcaster on about What St., American country people are just moving up here getting up the boxes. They look fine and I know a little nave in this country. I am thinking I live in the South Dakota border in Minnesota. I would like to go to South Dakota and get out of this political environment in Minnesota. I can even do that because it involves too much these people even thinking that this is the best thing to do. US is a critical welfare program. Since all these different programs in place to help the police if you if you leave your country that has a horrible economy or is very dangerous.

Or maybe you're you are so it's it's most of them are economic, motivated, which is why their silent claims will not should not succeed because that is not a valid reason to claim asylum sounds are specific it's like if the cartel is coming after you specifically to kill you add that we are family got a really bill to prove that with evidence, but these economic illegal immigrants are just say you it is better to be illegal immigrant inside the United States as a legal citizen of my country. That's it. That's the basics of this is this is it.

Sincerely, it's tough here. It's still a lot better here that it is that's exactly right. So not saying that the people that are coming here, only leaving a great situation. They're not. The problem is we've a porous border. We don't of controls. It's taxing our cities liquid In El Paso having the make a Democratic mayor was his people and buses sent them to New York because that's where the people want to go and then you know the mayor of New York says what are you doing this a Democratic mayor to a Democratic mayor with her doing can't handle it big on $2 million in federal aid they've already spent 8 million.

This is a lot for a local city to handle and then when they want to declare a national emergency by the meditation comes in several don't do.

That's a look that that's what you're dealing with my folks. Give us a call to stay updated. What hundred 684 31 to go to ACLJ.org will be right back planning to your a lot of people predicted, the reason why the price even where it is now is because a bruise like the White House about to announce yet again, which is there going to announce another 10 to 15 billion barrels from our strategic reserve to flood the market to try to keep this price high strike, keep it below the highest number. It got to with inflation but did you post election day what he thinks can happen then I can be is considered out of the public. The politics of it that I can build a keep going to reserve. They are together using the strategic reserve as a political tool as an economic tool which is destined to be useful is that supposed be used for. Keep your gala gas low. It's this is that your real national emergency crisis war and your cut off. This is what you got to use at a point were you not care about the price. This is now be used as a tool to keep prices down, which is not white exist the first place. But it's fair to say that we do have an energy crisis and it's can be a significant energy crisis before we went on air moving or premeeting professor Harry Hutchinson was talking about the impact that this could have on the northeastern portion of the United States.

The lack of energy in the concerns over this and Harry.

This is a real problem a real threat, absolutely.

And the problems are compounded by virtue of the desperation of the Biden administration and their inability to think coherently about energy policy. So the desperation which characterizes the Biden administration pushes them to double down on expensive, unreliable and unstable sources of energy.

They are looking to transition if you will, to the so-called green energy future. And so now Pres. Biden has tapped into the strategic petroleum reserve.that is a drop in the bucket. So 10 to 15 million barrels of petroleum that could be consequential if were talking about New York City or California but it's inconsequential if you're talking talking about worldwide production.

Why because OPEC is cutting production bike, 2 million barrels per day.

So tapping into the strategic petroleum reserve basically offsets what OPEC has done for five or six days. That's it so that it does idea were going into the reserves when it it's also five-day issue is nothing the Saudis though said when when the present when and said we want more production. The study said no, what was the significance there well I think it's a signal that the United States has lost influence in the Middle East and now the Saudi's are doing something that America should do. They are putting their own interests first.

Pres. Biden continues to push for the interest of the rest of the world at the expense of the American people.

European leaders are doing precisely the same thing and now the European people are beginning to revolt and so you have huge demonstrations in Prague in Paris and Berlin and in the United Kingdom where electricity prices are scheduled to rise by 32 400%.

Some families are seeing their gas bills go up from around let's say $300 a month to $1500 a month.

Now the British government. Of course, is going to intervene because he doesn't want to accept the political consequences but the consequences are coming and they're coming to New England New England will face. According to energy producers blackout during the dead of winter. Why, because the United States has given up our energy independence number one, number two, we are sending liquefied natural gas to Europe when that liquefied natural gas should be sent to New England so there are huge problems on the right wing. The seat situation were New England could literally have no available fuel or significant blackouts and brownouts winter. Absolutely the of petroleum or energy suppliers in Europe are absolutely warning this morning the people and they are sending out signals. There are clear signals but guess what winter will hit the hardest.

After elections, and of course you want to change the debate if you're on the Democratic side of this. You want to change the date to abortion because you should only talk about the power outages in the winter. That's the stretch that it is to sit it could be a important issue to follow suit.

Very prudish. Our supporters as life. It's probably the number one issue for a lot of our supporters and how they decide who their vote for an this is doubly politically foot that rather tried to do that. On the other side say make this a priority.

Ignore ignore the board Ukraine ignore tried to ignore the gas prices inflation ignore your house price may be revealed. Ignore the fact he lost 25% of your 401(k) savings 25% is the estimate so at that time I did, would you put abortion next to you lost 1/4 of your life savings. Guess what, guess what likely is going to wait out.

Guess what's can likely motivate people, economics, and guess who people voters trust a lot better for the economy, economy, business and and when it comes to inflation, to deal with these issues. Republicans, so it should be a wave election now were hyper partisan country so the the the difference between winning and losing is a few points and it's interesting like were some of the bottles still show the Democrats holding on the sit it real clear politics is that showing Republicans picking up up to 52. And that's not including Arizona, so I beat it out. It is it is there for the taking. For whoever does a better job. These finals are getting to sleep a lot about domestic support it's it's getting out the vote is getting out about. So let me ask you this, Harry. There is you talk about the cutting the inept and attitude or process that the binder ministration is dealing with an energy there's report that the bond ministration keeps delaying oil and gas permitting. Due to this is unbelievable to me offshore due to a mathematical era that they could've corrected months ago and still haven't done yet it is hard to believe. Okay well just to know that it raises a a particular question was the error intentional or was it unintentional and I leaned to the side of believing that it was a deliberate error. Why because it's another excuse for delaying fossil fuel production in the United States. Keep in mind that's virtually the Biden administration's number one goal and so essentially they're saying to the American people left the American people suffer, but let's soften the suffering before election day and and I think if you look at the inflation reduction act. It was all about green energy.

It was all about. This transition too expensive and unreliable energy that is their new religion. That is the religion of the left and you know it's interesting up with that issue.

It was in the abortion issue you a call coming in from trees that I like to I'd like to answer because all of this issue is a lot of this is kind of hide the ball move move move the goalposts of the speak but let's go ahead and take Teresa's call. Teresa, I will conceptually earlier Carlo. The Bank of Boston in our data that can live better than I have family members that cannot waiting a long time for appointment during the general chair of the VA how does it affect me put this is an overtaxed system to begin with the VA's had a whole series of issues and then you put abortion politics inside the veterans ministration at hospitals and you ask yourself is this the new priority because it sure seems that way minute bragging about this. I think that is correct.

So essentially the Biden administration has de-prioritize healthcare for veterans.

Remember, essentially, we've made a commitment to veterans to take care of them and why are they doing this because for the Biden administration, it's politics all of the time and at the end of the day they don't really care. This is my opinion of course about veterans. They care essentially about satisfying their masters at Planned Parenthood are from slavery to take your phone calls at 164 three with two edits of the oil issue, whether it's on the energy issue, whether it is on the politics of races in your state election issues that we were to take those because we were 20 days out.

We want to talk to you directly. One 800 684 31 two that's what he hundred 684-3110 is all about turnout. There will be theirs and theirs. They will always wait to those people to election day voters who haven't made up thereby there still try. They will still try to work for those both sides received from the binder ministration today an announcement on abortion and announcement on oil. So there's a tuition for anything. I mean it's it's a look at me if this is for real and we are getting within the real zoning of folks support the work of theaclj@aclj.org. What's happening with Russ and Ukraine as well in your phone calls at 800-684-3110 security or cause to worry hundred 684 31 two that's 1-800-684-3110 can still be part of the show today was good.

Edward in Ohio are likely to Edward for you to kindly ask you about the race in Ohio because of it.

Because some states, the radicals should have the most attention. So if if you had to make a call right now.

Jade events to Brian and take her partisan politics out of it. Who do you think words, if the election were held today. Hope it going to revamp that I get that it's very close that it saves any support whole soda to dance and to up there was another debate last night and he's done very good in those debates go ahead and wanted to make a comment loyal yesterday hundred gallons was already at or 99 a gallon. I just spent almost $530 for only 100 gallons. That's not even close to what I'm going to need for the winter and look at the price it's unfortunately the price is not can get better. But this is the reality we've gone from a country that was energy independent. The strongest military in the world.

A stock market that was roaring in economy that was Lori in 19 months. We've gone from that to you know a major conflict in Eastern Europe like attorney for World War III not very careful and I don't think ministration is being very careful energy costs that are affecting everybody's number not affected by this. Every business is affected by this and this is the reality, but then you find out that the administration wants to cut a deal with Iran back in the nuclear deal and then Col. West with his witness and the drones that are now the Russians are using to attack civilians in Ukraine guess further coming from Iran.

Yeah Russia is not purchasing weapons from from our declared enemy and it's crazy. The stakes for the United States and Europe have suddenly been raised even further by Russia's use of Iranian drones. It indicates that Putin is nowhere near calling this war off backing away from Ukraine. It has the potential to really escalate out of control. Ukraine is not going to give up, and they've indicated they're not going to surrender any of their territory, including Crimea, so Pruden is upping his game.

If these Iranian drones which are attacking civilian targets as well as infrastructure if they don't give Pruden his desired result. The question becomes what does he do next. Does he use chemical weapons does he resort to using tactical nuclear weapons and in the larger question is if he does that.

What is the response of NATO and the United States. This this is escalating and it has the potential J to really escalate beyond our control and Jordan is over 20 days out from election so you got all of this unrest going on globally. How does that play into the election right now. Or is it still too remote and I think that what you have is different world actors that do exist to influence the election tried to so whether it's the Russians tried to escalate, or the Chinese President again. We saw the blue by the Saudi's, I think.

Listen to the Saudi's would add to that were tried to deliver wasn't so much an anti-American movie anti-Biden moved outside since hurting Americans put what they're saying is we want to deal with this administration. He went over there had to be the obviously that didn't work out very well.

He said really bad things about the trumpet ministration really good relationship with them. They've done a lot of of kind of starting to modernize sub did not perfect or far from perfect, but their strong ally and yet they decided to to deliver a blow dealt you can say the same thing with the Chinese.

His last election cycle with troubled covert it it it it it's of those things and meet you so it's happening on both sides.

Yeah, I don't think I get the more work involved in Ukraine and you see that Russia parted with Iran. This is a get with the with these drugs affect, and Iran has decided to take the steps with her still try to get to a discussion. This administration is to try to get included with the I know this as you say, like the Russians there.

The enemy, they won't. They will classify the associate Stripling to sides with Iran with this is what so bizarre Celeste. We got a situation where try to disable rent saber rattling again with Taiwan rush is already gone into Ukraine you got Czechoslovakia is very worried about where all this will go because of energy issues for that right so you got energy being used as a weapon that that's the alarming thing about this Jade. This escalation of the war in Ukraine and there's no other way to put it. This is a a is a real escalation of the war. It's coming at the beginning of winter. Just yesterday, Pres. Zielinski of Ukraine announced that because of these renewed Russian attacks that 30% of the power plants in Ukraine have now been destroyed at the beginning or end percent of the power plants have been destroyed indicate in week they said in the last week. Yes, what's the word what's the line where the destruction of the power so that means no ability to keep things warm because it's getting cold there already. What what happened. That's the S the unknown. Your answer to that question J because you know does Ukraine at some point surrender and and and throw in the towel or does NATO in the US bolster their involvement in the war so that it becomes essentially World War III.

I mean you give another example of how this work could widen. Because Iran is now selling these these drones to Russia to use in Ukraine, Israel thus far has not come out on either side in this war but now an Israeli cabinet member just yesterday said because Aranda is now involved that Israel should get involved and now Ukraine is requesting an air defense system from Israel. So again, this has the potential not just to be a European war but to be a Middle East war and we are in the middle of it and and quite something for World War III here absolutely on the scale of where you got immobilized. I pray not. I pray not. But when you go into a situation like this. There are so many unknowns and we might know what our intentions are. But the enemy gets about to this suit to meet her when you look at it in with 20 days out to an election asking to determine the fate of the house and the Senate and governorships all over but with some of the federal level the house and the Senate. You say to yourself where you know we got Col. Smith your same work we could be on the virgin others. This attitude is not a shock. We can be on the virtual world war and at the same time you got an economic collapse in energy crisis and then the left is running on. Yeah let's get abortion rights protected yeah veteran with the last time.

My guess would be viewed where you would have probably majority the country that wanted supported. Even the efforts they would say that were not willing to sit on our bid and women to die for the Ukrainians effort to prop up that government and its it's not to say that we can't get take other measures to support their fight against Russia in the center. These wars of aggression, but I'd say it's worse. It's like the Vietnam days. In those days led to protracted inflation and the way standing in the world, very low, and safety were senior military which can't get recruits can't recruit them you are same kind of thing because who was had enjoyed up right now in your President is using words like nuclear Armageddon. How how how difficult is that military involvement as I was in Christmas with what, what's the situation on the equipment as it is a problem they have lost they missed the recruiting goals this year by tens of thousands. The Army alone missed by 20,000 people are not willing to sign up and there are a lot of signs begin to go down and be sent down to the border to do make services that's going on, plus their military leadership, the Pentagon, they obsessed with domestic terrorism in the ranks and critical race theory that the turnoff to most recruits, because there from the Midwest and the South and they don't usually buy into a lot of that they are they are really missing their thermometer because they're not in touch with the drapes.
