Happy Independence Day for the ACLJ. Let's celebrate defend our freedoms in human form and now this is what I hear from you. Everybody we want to do a very special broadcast. We were still celebrating the tremendous victory mill worker versus Wade in the Dobbs case and as I said are our case brain versus Alexandria served as the basis for that when the court held an opinion by Justice glia that opposition to abortion was not discrimination against women are media teams have been putting together multiple documentaries on the abortion industry project understand that it is in fact an industry and we've got some very, very unique interviews, but you're not can I have really probably can get again on some of these that really shows what the abortion issue is because as a ghostly state as this to the states. We still have to educate people about what that means yet another still is big business there, and it is the essence of the pro-abortion lobby going after this adduction for five different documentaries on the life issue, some historical, some about the furniture. I do find it ironic that you somewhat like Planned Parenthood who proclaims only 3% of what we do is now abortion services. And now this. We can use either closing nation. What you write out little on clinics because why it maybe 3% of the services provided, but certainly not 3% of the income they produce that that has been an interesting phenomena. By the way they talk about prenatal services they provide and breast cancer screenings they provide and ultrasounds and all this, but when it comes to actually staying in business. Once role was overturned. They immediately settle the clinics or closing. We can't leave no business model that will make this work broadcast never been about talking to talk. We tried to continually make the broadcast warbler accepted that even if you just to do five minutes from that five minutes you can take something away. It's different. Did talk he has on cable news with embedded discussions, you know, one of the things we we sat down at the beginning your wheel was evaluated night we said to our team and we had a big meeting with our production team and in our our folks and on on our broadcast and said when you speak have something that you say that when it's over with our listener says I didn't realize that or that I never thought about it that way and that's what were trying to do each and every day in this broadcast so we bring you our expert analysis. We bring you our expert team about what you see is a really nice TV studio and cameras in the lighting which you don't see behind the screen is six or eight people managing this broadcast for an hour to get in on the and then another group of people that are helping put content together as well and in the social media department that gets us out into bites so we can get it on social media platforms all over the country with some of our our pieces end up in the top 10 of Facebook shares coming we know that even with the difficulty we had deal with free speech was Facebook and that tells us that where or what it shows is our ability to get a message out and then you hear from Van Bennett and were taken direct action Capitol Hill. Jeff Albano was heading right back to her office in Jerusalem, so you know understand the scope and nature of what's happening and we are in our matching challenge campaign.

So this is where you come in and I would emphasize what Jordan said this is only if you're able to do this if you're not in the financial position to do it.

Please don't pray for the ACLJ pray for our team. Encourage others get side petitions for timeshares and barbaric pedal to engage in our social media. I know everybody can report with the with the price of gas and food and fuel and everything else but you can. We really would appreciate your support for the ACLJ were in a matching challenge month. George let you know how to do it folks that it is very easy to get ACLJ.org that's ACLJ.orgy around the homepage there you go.

If Foley 30 tablet youth during computer very quick to remind timing here we come back this break easily data made the donation any CLC matching challenge or donate either one of those take you right page putting the info. Choose the amount you want to donate.

You can also choose your making of recurring monthly donation that will still be part of the match class that all the time that will be part of the matching the ACLJ.org is a great time to support our December grassroots 25. Donation is a big deal for ACLJ Jay Sekulow we're joined now via Congresswoman Nancy Mae, South Carolina and the Congresswoman as we were talking at these attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers. She serves as part of the government committee on oversight and reform, but specifically the subcommittee on civil rights and civil liberties and an Congresswoman may still be I welcome you to secular, but for sake you are calling on the committee subcommittee chair Jamie Raskin to hold hearings on this violence against pro-life pregnancy centers that we have seen whether it side spray-painted vandalism. Whether it's firebombing.

We sought other tax LSA Michigan which included vandalism and you said so far as we've heard it just been like silence from the Democrats on on this issue involving attacks on the pro-lifer existence about hearing time on right on left-wing bias travel and how you hearings and having that the eye, and testified they don't categorize these groups like changer Evander and Keith are daring and keeping track of a bad category of violence within the federal Bureau of investigation is been attacked by extremists. My house is spray-painted last summer. It had my car key. Having been a victim of political violence week I look out for both sides of the aisle and there been over 40 attacks the last couple of month. This kind of domestic extremism. We are having hearings about should be equal opportunity to look at the kind of violent everything across the country and then next week with the add-in or oncoming schedule of the Supreme Court were seeing signs and threats of violence applicable to Don that can tell this is something that can abide by both sides to make. I get it immediately things that I've been very concerned about hearing. I articulated this a couple times and you're right there's been when you add the churches to the list of places that been attacked from polar positions were closer to 63 back to read just got out in the last couple days been very, very concerned about very troubled by frankly is the lack of action by the United States Department of Justice by the Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland, have you had is anybody in the hill, hearing anything from the DOJ on any of this or not violent like on every other important issue in Christ, Joe Biden's own creation that we seen over the last several minds very quiet and that's not where we should be right now worth being violence increased across the country of the last two years and an average any and everything that stated income from a violent working seating increase in my home. South Carolina and you know what are we doing about how he wanted people, and if church is God's. I sat in on a briefing security briefing two weeks ago, one of our local gods in Charleston and these are real issues facing real Americans and are not being addressed by the ministration of this department. Jeff it's ignoring you American psyche. Pro-life princesses are so demonized Congress and amaze estimates by the left. That's part of what this is a group you're in New York right now.

That's three or were firebombed and that you real vandalism but not just the spray painting and at the same week as this James revenge group wanted was putting up the message and say claim there to do this, also calling for riots in DC the night that Dobbs decision comes out the flyers all over Washington but consummates that that that night the day that that was all occurring. They released draft press release saying how they're going to try and shut down those pro-life crazy centers at the state level. We see them called horrendous things by some your colleagues in Congress.

I called and left a missed disinformation centers fraud so they're not being treated just like any other Americans, organization, lawful business that is under attack, attack and brag about it yet apprised of Joe Biden who won't condemn protesters showing up on the line.

Direct Supreme Court justices because of that impending Roe V Wade decision, which by the way is illegal to do, you are more or less encouraging that kind of protest and and so you know we aren't following the law, like at all and any that's because they have a different perspective and women want to protect their baby or give the baby up for adoption or have any cleaning resources that kill their child in a state access to those churches and faith-based community to providing those resources for those women. They should be equally protected if anyone is showing up at any other grandparent or whatever what's happening and that's only further causing division in this country you writing your letter to Jamie Raskin the preservation of our democratic society demands we take action without violence. No matter where it occurs and what ever it's motivation is that we must be united in our efforts but serviceable siding content will violence my question is this. We had an action by the department justice with no action by your colleagues in Congress and we only have local action by the local police department got an organization like you said this James revenge which is calling for quote, you said you'd write an crickets out of the department justice on this.

So I applaud you. We do at the emergence of law and justice for taking the initiative to get this back front center because you're right.

This is violent extremism targeting a viewpoint which is unconstitutional.

Your thoughts well majority later this year. We gotta make sure that we have the caring that we don't simply hold them in contempt by letter and to bring our official and the Department of Justice accountable for not addressing this issue. I want to know how they're going to address it. How to protect our communities and keep them safe and keep women safe no matter what their political viewpoints or their viewpoints are unlike angelic to do that moving forward and hold ourselves and each other accountable for getting this administration are in the DOJ to get them to do what their special damages. Follow the laws in this country that were created hearings on domestic violence, extremism, and I think that the only way that those become legitimate fully to the American people is as you heard you sat through those hearings and they are very legitimate concerns. There, but when you ignore the entire half of that domestic violent extremism that comes out of the left. Congress will base the American people don't take seriously the other side of the extremism either, which is a good and so if you look at is a holistic approach and it's good to be all partisan people ignored and that's not good for America now one title and one accountable and ignore the left altogether. That is not what we should be getting this country and that's one of the reasons that we had so much division within our communities and how partisan has been, and it's not been done in an equal way and I think that at the very minimum the lobar right is told everybody how you break the law you should be held accountable.

No matter what your clinical perspective is that's not what's happening in this country and if any, and upon the public in leadership and people like myself to move that ball forward and into do the right thing no matter what your taking a listing for being with us today.

Very important. Keep you. Please keep us engaged on this informed working on it to thank you for your help.

Thank you, that's cards for Nancy Mase of South Carolina phones 164 3110. We got some calls coming into on the gun safety laws to us was go to Bob Virginia on line 1 hey Bob Bob Bob Virginia Robert hired police officer in one of the things in Virginia we have red flag law and what is disturbing is that denies your due process.

My question is do you think the laws will be challenged in court.

Yes, the language some of the laws side Florida hatless about Florida's video.

This super red very conservative state has a red flag loss is about.

So you have to look at. I think state-by-state you know what is Virginia's red flag law look like, what is the you say doesn't have to process and has no due process, it would've upset it also must have some but doesn't have enough to to survive scrutiny in light of the fact we got yet another very clear opinion on the Supreme Court that I don't have to do it, but they sure did, but that's because there's that all of the anti-drug got worms I try to cope with new way to keep you from being a legal law-abiding citizen with a firearm left their focus and every time they do that they are expanding the Supreme Court interpretation the second of it. You know it's interesting in this morning, but I do think there will be a lot of a lot of legal challenge to any of new legislation is going to have to be any legislation, including the plug will be very specific and narrowly tailored and what this report says exactly what the court is saying is giving up a very loud and clear warning 63 that when you draft these laws. You don't have to give a good reason or just cause.

Why is that why you have to exercise a constitutional right. Whoever heard of that as a preface to the exercise of the Bill of Rights. You have to show just cause or a good reason. And then that's whether it is to carry a gun, whether it is to have a speedy trial, whether it is the right to speak on a street corner or sidewalk or the hand of leaflets you preface it by having to show what just cause, and you give the public official discretion to determine whether with that of the causes just enough that's not the American way. That's not what the framers said in the Supreme Court of the United States hammer down on that the day I will tell you like were not like a lot of organizations that we don't have, you know, we'll get a get some were appreciative of everything were not will get regularly $10 million grants and million-dollar grants.

It's very rare for us, but it's because of people like you. Lots of people like you. Thank you. Without your support. It doesn't happen. And as we said, wearing a matching challenge campaign, Georgia let you how to do it makes a big difference is very easy to get AC LJ.org that's ACLJ.orgy you'll see matching challenge or donate either one of those take you right page AC LJ.org is a great time support severed grassroots $25 donation is a big deal for a sealed call one 800 684 31 to I were still talking about the border crisis, we're going to be shifting in this segment to talk a little bit more about obviously historic week for life historic week as Rose overturned, but now as we expected going back to the states as the spring court ruled and that is going to be 50 new battles literally and states that you would be initially people thought while the states it up, pro-life majority of them defined in the states I don't get it working but managing accounts with ACLJ Frank you not been doing this work for you know what date is put say 40 years limit that's a good number with the decision in Roe. But right there in Kentucky were your offices got a challenge there. There's been one in Utah and Louisiana and in Utah, Louisiana, the court subissue temporary restraining orders not allowing the pro-life legislation to go in effect even after the Supreme Court decision software that I got. I don't hold out a lot of hope that the court concocted different than the court in Louisiana. Utah is generally considered a very conservative place in court justices are elected, but in the past. They never confronted in the abortion issue directly because there was federal matter until Friday so that we don't really have a track record, but I have to say, that is, as you know, these cases are filed on the basis that the state constitution does protect the right to abortion after Dobbs and there is a significant amount of right to privacy case law in Kentucky already.

So you already sue they sued yesterday. They've obviously been waiting for this because filings that the yesterday art from the ACLU national is a little with the local Kentucky ACLU changing the name of the states, you know. In any case law that their psych so they're ready to go.

A lot of this is ultimately come down to the state Supreme Court's select take Kentucky for instance I don't know what the situation mirrors, how does your court view. These issues, I think I I'm not that optimistic with the state Supreme Court because of their long history of sort of mimicking what the Supreme Court is done with privacy in your bodily integrity and all that sort. I could easily see them siding with with the ACLU on the good news in Kentucky is the issue is on the ballot in November and November. We already have a referendum which will decide whether or not there is a right to abortion in the Kentucky Constitution so essentially court matter, the litigation is a bit of a sideshow because the site is in November and Kentucky coders historically have been pro-life. So much more optimistic about winning their that I am about the course will say very liberal governor, slogging from to tell you that are listening so that doesn't care about you. Kentucky is a very conservative area elected officials you think would be representative, but it Kentucky is kind of one of those anomalies working going right, but with Frank we raised the point of the legislative initiative in AC LJ action 501(c) four is going is looking at the states because the Quicken came to the same conclusion but do not line the state Supreme Court's fear that it may take consensual members in the state legislature to get through to the people actually voted on on on these issues so what is the fight look like in your view here means are we talking up 50 states probably probably are possibly possible. What Dobbs said people are freaking out about it bendable although it didn't give it back to the people.

That's what conservative saying for decades. As you know this is a matter that should never become a federal judicial matter. It's a matter for the people deciding people in places like Kentucky. I suspect the site pro-life white conversation and that's the way it will point out that completely odds, so be it vigorously got there we already reached out his office and told no contact us if you want me to support the else we can do, but I am very confident that this was the top-notch legal sent from the Atty. Gen. sometimes Atty. Gen. when faced with more than a like kind of put up 1/2 hearted effort in defending these things. But that's not is very liberal governor. What is his role in the so what about the comp between the government. Frank and the Atty. Gen. was interesting because it used to be the Atty. Gen. When we had not debited for those who went at it all the time, were essentially reversing now with this year as governor and Cameron.

Cameron is already now ensure the process of filing today vigorously defend small title of any doubt that much to say about everybody knows is looking at legislatively conscious moms AC LJ is looking at it from a litigation standpoint. Frank managing accounts with ACL.

James appreciate your comments on this but and not being with us.

But I'll tell you this loving this is exactly what was it was can happen that's happening quickly to believe we have been prepared to the decision, the Supreme Court was great and returns it to the states and I think the fights can be in the states. Yeah, actually. I mean, it's good to hear from people who are more pro-choice.

The fact that filter putting their money and their time in the wrong places you see people supporting Planned Parenthood UPC people putting their time protesting when really it's a Supreme Court decision. It was what it was and now it's where litigation is going to take place is where they're going to go to the courts to battle the southern inevitably go to the elections and at upcoming elections.

When this happened to that is to be an interesting part of this unthinkable natural reaction will either side is take to the streets in protest and donate to these organizations that really can do nothing. You have your pro-choice person. They can't do anything right now.

Supreme Court has ruled. So now it takes it to the court. Now it's getting it interesting how people get more educated on actually where they need to be there support why think that's right. And there's maybe a lot of there's a lot of talk right now but we get an and people try to rush statements on work thing we do this thing very strategically very wise, very smart. You look at a state like Kentucky is a perfect example Republican AG Democratic governor conservative legislature was like a pretty liberal Supreme Court in Kentucky. So then you gotta look and say okay what we could go with that challenge up to the Supreme Court of Kentucky but also we may need something else legislatively and that's what that's worth going to take real analysis we got teams of people working on this right and I mean literally teams of people and rocks in Washington in her office in Kentucky around the country to deal with these a precise issue.

So again I want to be clear that these are big issues were prepared or just being really strategic on how we engage us. None of this happens without you and it's because of people like you. Lots of people like you that make a difference. That was what we decided to do 35 or 40 years ago when we started that it was can it be more of a we now call grassroots model, but it was really good to be supported by everyday citizens. The people that wanted protect religious freedom, religious liberty and protect our freedom and liberty as American citizens and we have been blessed beyond anything we can imagine we facilities that we came in when I'm wearing these facilities. I spoke amply when these facilities but that doesn't happen without you, but I just wanted it stop and say thank you from all of us. There's a lot of people working behind the scenes. As you know when that will have a camera back there. We should really get one and around this entire office or offices around the globe. Thank you. Without your support. It doesn't happen. And as we said, wearing a matching challenge campaign, Georgia let you how to do it makes a big difference on how we can proceed ahead is very easy to get AC LJ.org that's AC LJ.org around the homepage. Very phony tablet computer, very quick to any CLC matching challenge or donate either one of those take you right page info. Choose the amount you want to know that you can also choose your making of recurring monthly donation that will still be part of the match class that all the time that will be part of the matching the AC LJ.org is a great time to support our December grassroots 25,000 nation is your face you have the American Center for Law and solutions at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 and $20 gift becomes 100 checking the constitutional and religious freedoms. Today online keeping you informed and now is Jordan's secular huge victory for life. The overturning of Roe versus Wade by the US supreme court victory for religious liberty.

If the US Supreme Court that for the coach case it took way too long. Coach high school football coach public-school coach to after the gate would go out to part of the field and pray this became a constitutional crisis because of a civil claim that their student was atheist, or even that was questionable because it was in the family was student but okay the student wasn't being asked to pray the student was it the coach did say you must pray and the student posted and use those terms like if you don't pray if you don't show up to this plan next week.

Are you running laps. Nothing like that. So, the Supreme Court clearly in favor of the coaches a free exercise of religion rights, but also First Amendment rights. I think that is Pretty clear where the court is when it comes to religious liberty involving at least young people so I know that some people in high school are starting five adults at 18, but mostly they're looking at minors here. Yeah. And importantly I think for this is, there was a legal test that was being applied for the steps in closet was called the lemon test and it was a disaster. It was a three-part testing to determine what was the secular purpose was her entanglement and what the court is in place with his history basically a coercion test.

If there's not coercion about numbers of the customer say listen to this prayer and if you participate in it. You can play football next week. If you don't purchase may not want to play, that would be unconstitutional but that stopped the coaches wants to pray for students wanting to meet together and pray the right to do that and that's what the court said you can't use the mechanism of the government. Let's use the PA system. What you can the students commit the entire stance to get up and say Lord for what happened in Santa Fe in the case involving prayer football game you could not use the mechanism the state constitutional today what I think would still not be constitutional. A minister Rabbi Preece coming in before at the graduation ceremony and offering an invocation now, after the town of Greece case it's a little bit suspect. I think there may be some wiggle there, but the court in this opinion did not indicate that that that anything where you got compelled attendance for students would be problematic. But according not students themselves have the right to do that kind of activity for its valedictorian of the class once give a speech and talk about the particular faith journey that it be allowed to do that. Under this test, yeah, that's right.

So here were taken because of that 164 3110 people stuff questions honestly, I think fairly really answer a lot of questions for for weeks on the what it truly means. Now that over the Roe versus Wade is been overturned and how that can impact your state so maybe you can go through literally 50 different broadcasts focusing on 50 different states were to be doing it as needed.

As your questions come in or also to be folks to get AC LJ action and utilize ACLJ's legal team on some states that have had a right in the middle.

They need a little help. They need a constitutional limit. The state level. The dictates of law.

So it's not just that they will just have a trigger log place in the ready to go and eat a little bit more work. They've got the votes. They got the pro-life support of their their state but they got you a little bit more work in order to be involved in those states very directly firsthand, whether through advertising lobby through AC LJ action. Of course, utilizing our legal team to put together those constitutional debits that may need to be move forward in your state, but a lot of questions a lot of calls about that at 164 3110. This was interesting.

I think it's very quickly Lori out of Arizona online to hey Lori McCall with being (that that there will be no federal funding of Planned Parenthood. That's a different battle display. Technically can't use those funds to pay for abortions outside accounting gimmick because it frees up another dollar for them to use to pay for abortions. I will tell you like or not like a lot of organizations that we don't have you know we don't get a get some were appreciative of everything were not will get regularly $10 million grants and million-dollar grants. It's very rare for us, but it's because of people like you. Lots of people like you think you without your support.

It doesn't happen. And as we said, wearing a matching challenge campaign. George let you how to do it makes a big difference is very easy to get AC LJ.org that's AC LJ.org you'll see matching challenge or donate either one of those take you right paid the AC LJ.org is a great time support December grassroots 25,000 nation is facing a secular with what's going on in the world to your domestic court decisions which by the way, put us in line so she Roe versus Wade with the rest of the world. So were not an outlier country when it comes to infanticide like North Korea and China which we used to be in that group used to be the United States, North Korea and China that the federal national level have basically no restrictions on abortion were no longer in that bad group if you will that club and every return now to really where most states and most restrictions were talking I will be in line with where Europe is including you put a lot of productively Catholic countries include even Latin America SOI again puts us it's more mainstream for the United States actually said of being this extreme country as it is associated with worse human rights abuses when it comes to the abortion issue to recruit our senior advisor for foreign-policy national security because it's too big meetings. One is the G7 yet about economics, but of course Ukraine as well. G7 on the Ukrainians would like to see the G7 do a lot more. We clearly have seen the Germans talk about doing some more. They have really been shocking how little Europe is done by the Germans on. They did this funny thing where they said no put the Ukrainians into the application process to join the EU and then the Germans quickly thereafter said we would like to have more power and who becomes a member of the EU and therefore they will shut it down so their plan little games they're never in a lab the Ukrainians into the EU, but they announced that they get to at least fill out an application on the on the Ukraine situation with regard to rest in the conflict week we talked before we went on with our military analysts, Smith and West said that you know Ukraine is suffering some real damage. Right now they were more taxing key which is pretty been pretty quiet the last four months I see that right now.

That whole situation. You know is watching exactly what we're watching with the Americans getting distracted with an abortion debate and a ruling. And I think that there is no question that the Russians and will will go on the offense when they think that the West is distracting you got a G7 meeting that clearly the Germans absent a very loud message that there not provide immediate weaponry to the Ukrainians they're talking about doing at the end of the summer there talking about delivering tanks that they really Ukrainians didn't request so they see the distractions in the United States and from Germany and the rest of the last and I think he's doubling down and going on the offense you after the G7 really moving to NATO, the NATO summit in Spain and I know you talked already about this idea of playing like with will Ukraine become part of NATO will not become part of NATO, but honestly what I'm hearing Rick which I think is something to that, the United States and the American audience is hearing when we do cover this issue is its months and months and months in advance. Now it's like, well into much this will happen and maybe six months and like a never ending wars.

Basically what I'm getting to us is it sounds like were at least on a path for many more months of bloodshed.

No one is better at bureaucracy and slowing down the process than the Europeans they love about this and that's one of the frustrations I think that many Americans and others are happening that there's a lot of talk. There's not a lot of action when it comes to NATO you know I'll just reiterated again. I just don't think that members of NATO who are in pain. There 2% are paying the obligations that they signed up for those members should not be voting on expanding the membership of NATO. Why are they getting to a vote to expand the responsibilities of the defense shield when they're not paying the current requirements in the current obligations that they have. I just tell every member of NATO is pain and doing their fair share. I just don't think that we should be talking about expanding the online the other thing I want to move to Rick is a situation with Iran, and there was talk over the weekend that the administration wants to get back into this dialogue with the Iranians, Russians, and I think them kind of putting up a little bit of a kink in their wheel there that so that the bite ministration has made no move for but it seems like the present buying and his team are committed to this idea of a deal with Iran, which is absurd to me but it seems like where it's going to minister lower half was just in Tehran. I think this is assignment there pressuring the Iranians to move forward with the blessing of the Russians there try to jam the Americans once again. While the Americans are distracted the Russians as you know they want some help in Syria. They want to get out. They are fully responsible that they want to dial back. They clearly are feeling overextended between Ukraine and Syria and so they're trying to get another country to take over their responsibility and their role in Syria did like the Iranians to do it. Obviously that's not what the Israelis or the Americans line and I whole dividing team is laser focused on making sure no one takes advantage of us. Well were being distracted at a high political Rick, you just text me but there was a lot of talk and I think you can answer because people wonder why Pres. Biden's ambassador to Germany was not there when he arrived.

People are speculating all this you done some work on this to build answer that question. Unfortunately, the US ambassador to Germany has tested positive for cocaine and she wasn't able to join the President.

I know got to be greatly disappointed that the present United States comes to Germany. She is not able to be there. It's kind of one of those shining moments and a lot of work gets done between the Germans and the Americans if you have an ambassador. This kind of driving things forward so she was not able to be there and you know our hearts go out hope that she is so Rick and I want to ask you to follow up on a portion of that is you served as US ambassador to Germany.

Germany is a powerfully most powerful economy in Europe and give us a sense of what it was like dealing with a good your counterparts and in the Chancellor.

What was your sense about. I think be very important for audience understand the nature of what goes on a personal level.

I love Chancellor Merkel. She was very friendly, very nice, has a great sense of humor and that we could talk pretty openly and casually and I enjoy that.

But there's no question that the Germans I believe and I articulated this very clearly moved away from the Western alliance over the last 15 or 20 years. They wanted alliance without being Western facing.

They want to sell cars and all the capitals they want to be everybody's friendly wannabe Switzerland when it comes to foreign policy and one of the things that I tried to question present something to push is to say you don't get to do that your Germany Americans have made lots of sacrifices for Germany and we expect the Germans to be Western facing not the problem. Countries in Europe and so that relationship I think was always trying to be one of reminding the Germans that they have responsibilities to the last and sometimes we had members of the German cabinet that were really supportive and encouraged me to be stronger and in more potent and then other times they would say no. You know we want to just be Europe and work were done with this kind of Western alliance of picking fights. I think the greatest change that I think that there is a flipping the policies and they realize that they have to be more Western said downtown was right, but I hear a political question for you Rick said to finish up today and that is the Democrats seem to be seizing on the Roe versus Wade over being overturned as like their saving grace for the midterm elections. I have my own thoughts on that. You're kind of reaction to that that will somehow people will ignore inflation. This foreign kind of insecurity for Roe versus Wade over so I don't think you can ignore inflation or gas prices, but to the extent the Democrats want to make abortion the issue. Republicans have an opportunity to make abortion the issue and show the world that the Democrats are radical you look at other countries around the world and nobody wants late-term abortions is very unpopular governor Newsom here in California is making a move to enshrine it into the California Constitution. I made it clear if he tries to do that we will find him hard because I don't believe pro-choice Californians want to see late-term abortions.

Let's have that debate and I think that they lose this when we are able to talk about the issues and what they're trying to put forward, let's be very clear with what they're trying to do Rick. As always we appreciated the international insight that for policy insight and the political insight as always thanks Rexford for Geordie's written force part of our team at the ACLJ.

I will tell you like or not like a lot of organizations that we don't have you know we don't get a we get some were appreciative of everything were not will get regularly $10 million grants and million-dollar grants.

It's very rare for us, but it's because of people like you. Lots of people like you. Thank you. Without your support. It doesn't happen. And as we said, wearing a matching challenge campaign, Georgia let you how to do it makes a big difference is very easy to get a C LJ.org that's ACLJ.orgy you'll see matching challenge or donate either one of those take you right page ACLJ.org is a great time to support our grassroots 25,000 nation is facing 684-3110 right to Jerusalem where our leader of our Jerusalem authorship album is right now and yet there's a lot in the news I there's a lot of talk about what's going on back at one of the time.

We just had a report for those watching on our social media platforms about what is going on with Iran and their nuclear capabilities. And the big concern that they have advanced significantly yet at the same time finding out that the United States is in these sort of talks with the Iranians until her cutter about still trying to get into this Iranian nuclear deal what you hearing on the ground. Now that you're in Jerusalem people are absolutely stunning. They're trying to figure me as an American. What this administration can be thinking if you want to destabilize the Middle East destroy all of America's interests saw the brutal dictators over there. People encourage a massive global terror and openly give nuclear weapons to the enemy is clear that America is a small thing. This is exactly what you would do so, why are they doing. People are asking me for the answers they don't see the answers yet, so here's the question though isnot doing these directly right this is the subterfuge of all of this.

They're doing this to what they call it that your intermediaries third-party governments. But why would you put it makes no sense to move all the progress that was made in the Middle East with the Abraham records and so many other issues you and I were there for the embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

These were historic moments in the Middle East and not explode. In fact, to the contrary, things got much better, much more stable, but now you got to give Iran this kind of rope and then you have Saudi Arabia was now has relations with Israel, Jordan, Egypt, UAE. A lot of the other Gulf states was saying Iran with a nuclear weapon will wreck havoc in the region and will be deadly. Literally. And they are the largest state sponsor of terror play psychologist here, but all I can think of is this is what I'm telling people ask is this is consistent with America's interests left's utopian vision of themselves as masters of the universe is intended to change the climate and defeat a virus and it seems to be the great demonstrate we are we in the Muslim brotherhood in the mullahs in Iran and the Palestinian Authority and make them not terrorists but peaceful statesmen and working to solve the world.

Okay that's great except real life is mass destruction bloodshed destroys America's interests as well as any of our allies and you're right, we just suspect success. The records and yet they seem to want to look exactly the direction so we got the ship going on.

You had the previous talks with their ratings were mostly done by Europeans and Russia as a numerical figure that one out. And now, and those were Indiana. Now they're using cutter as the Mary intermediaries how dangerous do you think this is Jeff.

I think it's it's on a road to disaster exceptionally dangerous. The last go around when the patient is moving this direction. You know nuclear warheads for second Iran already has a list of missiles I need to reach is they can use them to Chicago and we only states its desire for destruction all the time and we have more and more evidence thanks to his thanks to Israel and their and their mission dangerous missions to review what I how much they've been lying cheating throughout so. Yesterday it is besides the ultimate danger for us in America. Of course this means massive increase in funding of terror and destabilization, especially in the world.

Go to the Messick situation politically neutral because I was a big news last week with the government following so to speak. What is the latest development there actually explained people how the government works. I think that Israel we hear the headlines and lexicons on computers so you break it down a little because research American politics is not a constitutional republic in Israel Jeff so I think it's a long and actually write let's start from the beginning here and describe: it's more like the British system is coalition government. How does it work so here you don't like the two major parties and direct elections for party.

There are numerous farms and people for numerous parties and then the parties have to see based on how many mandates or seats.

They have to be in the Knesset in the parliament try to group together to get a majority of 61. Okay that's where the fun begins because the coalition building is then becomes a lot of horsetrading for me it was reasonable, mostly in American politics. What the Appropriations Committee looks like where it matters a lot less than dealmaking and so you're making and for the first time, the last of this present government was formed by a couple of groups on the right breaking and completing direction government with parties, now they're all members of surprise Israel. But these are parties pro-Israel parties is to sign.

It was a shocker when supposedly extreme right wing's eyes parties last year with tension and things are beginning to collapse and know the opposition leader because he couldn't form a majority. Last time he was gaining power because the right was realigning sitting there like the current situation, the public on a moments notice my Dominica just literally fall apart what you did because some of the coalition partners pull out where is it now is a lot talk to Nick now maybe coming back and try to put his own coalition together is Outlook realistic or not surrealistic right now is look like you there. It was highly realistic of the schism existed among the right just say that the national religious parties designs parties secularism is pro-Israel parties as we would call it even though they they don't like in the last year they think through cross and so even though some of them may have issues with DV and a major David made a little riding in the hole that's actually because there are lack personality. She's not a lot of personal political future state so it's it's a race against time. You can put together a coalition of majority and CYP call this government to stop so the chance to quickly read and not allow BB more time to call government density establishes coalition on the right generally are hopeful that you will be able to pull it together again. When you think will know all I don't think will help her for quite a while, I would be shocked to hear including I talked to some of the best well-known political analysts on both sides of the political spectrum. And they are here with this. If you happen quickly or drag out possibly your support of the ACLJ makes a huge difference in email you going to be ACLJ this month we get a matching gift which means we send for you if you donate $20.

We afforded only 900 200. We encourage you to do it. As you said you I think the overturning of Roe obviously was a massive victory that a lot of us never thought we'd see in our lifetime. However what that does open up likely 50+ actually put territories on cases that could happen it will be part of each individual state pro-life state, absolutely because there's always a lot.

He states percentiles is can go either way. I guess what the ACLJ are part of a matching challenge right now.
