This is Logan was a drug is in our Washington DC office review of the DC how things are going there. We wanted to start the day off first by asking for lodging on social media share like subscribe do I need to make sure people see this in their fields because we do have some breaking news, and that is as of last week.

You may remember we did a show specifically talking about the IRS's new plan to invoke facial recognition to verify your identity go on to get out your online portal. You have to take it a selfie in the later skid your face to make sure you can access that giving them a a lot of database of facial recognition. We said that was never inserted a lot of people in the IRS has backed down remove this as something so this a big win for those of us who fought against this last week so give yourself a pat on the back congratulate because Jordan this is big news I would ever you could be the IRS. It's always a good it is and people sometimes get concerned about taking on the IRS or expressing opposition to the IRS but is an organization that has taken the IRS to court on behalf of individual grassroots activists and beaten the IRS the people realize now that that kind of untouchable. This of the IRS is gone. So when they tried to do something that is so outside the norm of all government agencies.

They were getting is a private company. Have your facial recognition for your tax return for your tax documents understand the slippery slope that creates in our country but you know what happened.

Logan Americans stood up and said no. We said no through the ACLJ and people. This is one of those issues I think to remind people there's not a lot that people agree on politically these days, but we the American people. They did agree on this. Both right and left said this is wrong and guess what happens. I big victory against the IRS without having to go to court. Well, it's the truth. We all know which is that no one trust the IRS with their information or has a lot of problem with this is coming to the IRS Commissioner Charles Reddick, who made a statement yesterday said everyone should feel comfortable with how the personal information is secured.

We are quickly pursuing short-term options that do not involve facial recognition, so very much admitting that they know we don't trust them with that kind of information and this is an agency, we don't believe can even self-correct are trying to sort out all these different options already use face recognition member.

They also asked they said they needed 87,000 new people $80 million in a budget that was and build back better. The American people sent know you don't deserve that. As an agency.

The tax code should be simplified. We should use technology to make it easier to file your taxes. We don't need to be using facial recognition for the IRS.

It is still likely one of the most if not the number one most feared government agency of all and for them to have that kind of data on you like there's some kind of security there that like there the CIA that is that's that's just un-American. It's wrong and that database would be ripe for abuse. People realized it in the IRS is backed out loud, you're probably getting your tax information ready right now.

Get your 1099s get everything settled tells what you think I would hear from you or text calls later on because of the recordable intakes and calls from you directly. 1-800-684-3110 your thoughts on this. Not only this big win for all of us to get electrodes in a bipartisan support or happened because you stood up and said no you work in a let the IRS have this kind of information but also your thoughts on the IRS in general and the upcoming tax season. Would you like to see a reform of the IRS. Would you like to see the abolishment of the creation of the IRS in what is now because people look at this again concerned as you said, people go to be one the petitions that were used to hang out with my name on this because your concern of bruschetta gift that should be the way Jordan and 40 seconds should be the way we have to fear our government agency, absolutely not. They work for you.

These are supposed to be agencies that work for you. I know the people I'm talking to right now. They do everything possible to follow the gigantic tax code to try to follow the rules and pay their correct taxes and the agency is supposed to help you should be thinking should be afraid of them law-abiding citizens and yet they are and we are because we seen the abuse see the targeting in this facial recognition would been a step too far. Support our work@aclj.org up in our DC office today need your financial support. The challenges facing Americans are substantial time and or value freedom and sword constitutional rights are under attack is more important than ever to stand with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades. ACLJ on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights in court in Congress to get in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms and then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member thinking not well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you are personally and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the prone life in many ways your membership is empowering the right question free copy of mission life today online ACLJ/secular. We are talking about the breaking news. The tableting century that the IRS is abandoned their plan after much outcry, including a large percent of our listener base and obviously us as a show and as an organization with a sales I think that this was going too far at the IRS was not going to be able allowed to take your facial biometric information stored in 1/3 party in us just go that's fine that's outward and access our tax information when needed. But no, we one that Jordan and you are in our office in Washington DC. I want to give people bit of an update you, we are CFA on a pretty much every day from DC but you're up there right now the candidate you get thing straight see how things are going as we know it still be her time in Washington yet. Still, things are not back to normal in Washington DC, in the sense of how things used to operate, which was more face-to-face, but we are expanding.

That's why I'm here today and that the people actually see me out of the studio more often releasable regularly because were expanding our work at the ACLJ in Washington DC. I specifically offered to France on Capitol Hill to expand our government affairs efforts already got your team here. It's a thought like this.

These are new things over expanding network also expanding our diplomatic works are working with. Of course we do our work at the UN, and a lot of that's flowing through Geneva and sometimes New York and the consulates there. Remember Washington DC. We have all of the major embassies aright hear from every country in the world were to start engaging their staff as well because we talk about some of these international issues. I don't loan you got record outcome it up, and later on the broadcast.

We got these experts at that level. What I want to make sure is that embassies from around the world and their staffs.

No, just like our audience knows that Rick rebels part of ACLJ team. So that's bringing a group of embassy staffers or their masters over the ACLJ hosting them with Rick with Sec. Pompeo because making it clear like we've made clear over the last year to our audience to our supporters that these are people on our team. Let's now let the world know that the ACLJ because of your financial support has these kind of individuals, of course, to do that.

You gotta have more staff of the staff logo is not always on radio who don't usually at people get to see and that's why beer days of actually interviewing people in Washington DC to expand our work and think that is a big part of what could happen here in 2021 year last year we had the more than ever campaign we are working on what the 2021 2022. Plans are 22 2023 campaign looks like a large part of Everett is what terms talking about expanding into things you think of the ACLJ in the work we do as being in the courtroom, but it has gone well beyond that sometimes the next case we take will not necessarily always be in the courtroom. It could it be for again hearts and minds of people could be DCI Jordan said it could be. Internationally, we are always looking at different ways to expand to get the message out there and make sure the people can hear it like door and said he's there right now interviewing people off to expand our portfolio and what we do, if you will, as an organization because we know there's more than just one lame look we come here to talk to everyday on social media on the radio.

If you been listening over 25 years on the radio and we've been one of the leaders in innovation to make sure we are getting our message out there or not to let that slide by were the first people ever to either broadcast on Facebook live with that initially started day one we were there.

That is how we do things here.

We make sure we stay current. I wish you could see the staff that we have here taking sure that we are up to date on everything they were doing and we are actually involving and moving forward.

Jordan would DC that they just ate better.

DC staff other than I Capitol Hill congressional staff and who they're able to bring their staff. We won few offices in the entire city operating. I want our supporters to know that they're not just work from home and there is a difference when you're actually physically replacing your team's able to physically be there that were set up were able to do that some these big corporations and corporate offices are set up for that yet DC our presence aright on Capitol Hill.

Through this whole pandemic has been consistent with the remainder of the two weeks that was about it and so I think for our audience who might have seen us in this chair is much the C fan every day in this year but to understand it. Behind fan.

There is an entire team and that we are going to expand that team. Take this time where things may be a little different. Washington may be a little bit quieter on the streets where there are are people to implement to take up the relationships we built in the team.

We built with people like Rick and Mike Pompeo. These experts and to utilize them to the full extent they're happy to do it but takes again people on the back. And of course that takes people's financial support. You're able to Logan bring on record now, and Mike Pompeo to our team because their financial support to maximize what they're able to do for ACLJ also this at people understand the behind-the-scenes is is more than they could even probably imagine, to get all these points are made be especially in the time period were living in now and I think that it speaks volumes that if you go right on Capitol Hill right now. One of the few places is fully operational yet intermittent heritage foundation. I will say are at the other office a dentistry at me, really. It's only a couple of us who are here and we could see that with wings like today as we set a big win against God, government overages was so that we had to take to court. This is something were able to work with our team in DC work with senators work with constant work with us in America people got to speak out because we brought this to light a lot of places were not even covering a lot of mapping to cover the fact that there was this big win against the IRS but were able to show these and brings light unlike any other broadcast out there because we are much more than an hour a day on social media are in our day on radio you spoke up you got answers from senators from both sides me this is a sinner from Ron Wyden put out a statement that I've long argued that Americans should not sacrifice their privacy for security.

This, a Democrat from Oregon government to treat Americans with respect and dignity while protecting against fraud and identity theft.

You have the statement we can work actually a little bit.

There are few things there, you can still because of our work in Washington DC and around the world. You could still work in a bipartisan manner on few things but on things like this, you and II think that it underscores our efforts. You know I mean people obviously know that were on the right and and that's that's part of the ACLJ and were not afraid of those positions at all in shaping the specific issues do come around where the right and left.

If they're being honest. They may not like agreeing in speaking to each other about it, but they got such the same privacy constitutional issues that used to be this way.

A lot of free speech cases did better with the speech was people believed in free speech in America.

That's not the case anymore. Unfortunately, the left only believes in their speech, but on this issue. Logan when he comes at the perfect storm. It was the IRS people will trust him.

Doesn't matter what your politics are in a facial recognition, third-party company like the IRS is in a position to manage a giant corporate third-party big tech company at a time when people had enough with a lot of big tech companies in the moment you use it for people pushing back against this is also a moment recent free speech is is become a big conversation piece. All of these things are sort of snowballing for you to have this moment in time where people are pushing back and saying no and there are answering you and I both set up organizations and companies in LLCs and corporations with the IRS. Did you have to do it that way just simply sometimes to get something like your employer identification of your EIN something that should take 30 seconds.

Let's say there's a pickup and that I had a habit I had a hiccup happen where our name corporate able to close to another corporate name, so they had to do a double verification that was a 90 day process.

I and I had to fax it information you know what I did and is often accompanied renamed it something else and launched that they restart because I wasn't gonna spend 90 days over facts and they're going from that to then say okay we know the facts thing maybe were a bit behind the times with the facts and now let's just jump to facial recognition right that you haven't figured out scanning right or email or you are there to talk about the idea to and it's it's it's idea. I like but they don't talk about is a digital postcard in the target. Maybe if you file your taxes on a postcard make simplifying it is still very much the male Butler. I will say to work the other part a reason why but be here more and and kinda kicking these things back in Europe were to launch a new initiative not radio announcer today but it took a year that were big organizations are to do that through new entities that are still connected is is it a more complex situation again is a bigger team behind that the few of us that you see on radio. We are working on for a year, mostly for that side of things.

And again that so that we follow all of the rules we we should be treated like they do work for us because were following all of their complicated rules checking all of their boxes because we want to follow the rule to try to try to skirt the IRS but we have all these legal experts to do that most people took you a year to figure it out. Still working on that's detergents. We are part about this is that most people want to pay their taxes. They wanted to do the right thing really don't want to pay their taxes but they will pay their taxes, they will abide by what the government is requiring but you make this complicated world we all have to hire people out to figure out if something's that something that is mandatory that we have to do it.

Everyone gets stressed with I think you and I both that everyone knows soon as you get everything that's confirmed and maybe get your tax return, Inc., the reason a sigh of relief that sometimes you don't have time to get that letter in the mail saying you know you miscalculated something by $0.30. It is time for a complete reform of the IRS is complete.

It's time for us to spread our wings ACLJ and to do a lot more. Great work where that's Washington DC around the world. We have a great initiative coming just know it's just a tease.

There is a lot more about to happen here 2042.

We can't wait to share so much more with you. We could do that already. By supporting the work of ACLJCL Janet or George got a get back to work in DC us and thank you for joining us later in the show me joy by Rick Grenell to keep this conversation going. If you have a question or, give me a call right now at 1-800-684-3110 will be right back only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable and is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you are personally support, and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of roofing weighing 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life side of the many ways your membership is empowering the right to question a free copy of mission life today online ACLJ/challenges facing Americans for substantial time and or value freedom sword constitutional rights are under attack is more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades ACLJ has been on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress to get in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you and not well this is the perfect time to stand with us. ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ, the secular, this is Logan Sekulow later the sure Rick Grenell to be joining us in to give you a bit of a future style joining us or you will update what you're talking about here wasn't well it's been a week two weeks ago.

Some like that. We were on the air discussing the IRS's new plan for you will log into your account to access your tax information.

Juergen have to provide first take a selfie that from then on, provide a facial recognition test so that you be logging in with your face so I know if you know this. A lot of people don't really care for that kind of thing they don't trust the IRS for numerous reasons that they've had over the lab and the calls are competent over the last of their entire life. They had concerns with the IRS as a brother said should be some we would have to worry about as law-abiding Americans. You should be able to not stress out when the IRS calls you, but it is one of those moments that you do not like and no one likes one not of you spoke up enough of our listeners take enough senators on both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans with a few things that this is too far. Sorry I IRS wall about innovation and shade for baby be looking your tax code may be looking your filing the way you have to handle things we treat American citizens before you get to just unilaterally take through 1/3 party. By the way, take their biometric information and nephew set it that the IRS actually had responded. Here's what they said this is from the IRS Commissioner Charles Reddick said the statement yesterday. Everyone should feel comfortable with how their personal information is secured.

We are quickly pursuing short-term options that do not involve facial recognition so in short term, there is no facial recognition. Who knows long-term will see what happens. I think that's a a lot of times they say this and it dies down. You never hear anyone bring it up again or at least fertile. There's another yell until there's another administration and someone else running the IRS adjustably. What happens in with that in with the ACLJ we always expanding will redo you heard my brother he's in Washington DC right now and mainly what he's doing is interviewing people to move a brand-new project for is what one of my goals is here at the organization for 2022 you see a very different side of our organization.

When you watch and listen.

You may think of it as this illegal outfit that we are all lawyers crossing their own when I'm not a lawyer. My brother is a lawyer if you're watching right now, you see their people in various walks of life that are here who all believe in certain freedoms and liberties and certain topics we bring up here each and every day.

It is a pretty broad and with that I love to see the organization grow. I love to see the organization get broader in terms of how we reach people with this message doesn't always have to be in the courtroom will be if incredible legal staff. They going anywhere. But we also know there's ways to reach people we would be on Facebook live right now we would be on YouTube live streaming right now we would build terrestrial radio for all that matter. For the last 25 years. It wasn't for the fact we know there people out there who are listening or maybe not to get this information anywhere else, and maybe there's a new way to win over actors in the hearts and minds of people. For these causes because you don't went over the American people you not to win these cases long-term. And when I say cases, I mean that the global sets just like this in the IRS. Why because we've done a pretty darn good job. So a lot of the lot of guide people out there saying there's one organization out there is one department that we don't necessarily put our full faith and that's the one you have to deal with the one you're scared of Venetian that's the IRS.

So much so, we push back hard enough not going to court, we push back hard enough you get a win within a week two weeks or facial recognition is God's not even on the table right now. We need these kind of things to happen while you trust the IRS about what one of our movies. That's right ACLJ has her own film studio ACLJ Phillips which is documentaries look. I plan on expanding that major-league documentaries each and every year series and feature-length documentaries will be due couple years ago Scott targeting us is not targeting of conservative Christian groups by who the IRS.

This is a note theory. This is a dispute of fact that this is what happened. So if you don't think people trust the IRS.

They have a pretty darn good reason not to is because they've a lot of them have been subjugated to targeting by the IRS. You can watch that for free on ACLJ Phillips.com.

We did our series last year on Afghanistan is exclusively available to people who donate about the December to be rolling out to the general public here over the next couple weeks. That is our revenge of the Taliban, which was a series about this real-time. The failures of the body administration, with the withdrawal from Afghanistan. We interviewed some top leaders, and here's what I always like to say about this organization I think is different than just about everyone which is here from me you here for my brother here for my dad or any of our panel, but really the three of us who kind of leave the organization you know that what were telling you is how we feel that it is 100% true. What we believe is coming out of our mouth their times. If you don't like. I see the comments there sometimes were you feel you disagree with our position.

You know what I think that's what the American people want. I think what they really want is people that they can at least believe you're telling them the truth from their point of view at least telling them how they believe in the know they actually believe it. Not partisan hacks, not people who are just lying by a party line that is not the way we do things here. I'm very proud of the organization for doing that we take on humanitarian causes, and we take on the IRS.

How many other people are doing that people are going overseas to fight for the safety and the rights of Christians and pastors in the Middle East were getting a present or in Turkey, rubber, and they are also here protecting you get the IRS not very many.

Organizing no other organization will expand out aggressively this year. We do that with your support@aclj.org and I thank you all for putting in your comments see a lot of them, then on social media severely cometh these but the mud Facebook put them on YouTube were to pull some of those takes on those as well. I do want to take some phone calls again to our next segment again later on the show. We got Rick Grenell take this call. If you agree, disagree whatever it is I want to hear from you.

This next half hour, 100-684-3110 go to Tim in California you're on the air.

Take my call.

How can we totally reconstruct IRS. This is been to think of calling that has been a discussion point we've gone over multiple times. There are ways you can reconstruct the IRS to just get rid of it start over.

You should watch our films about the IRS there's two actually. We've done the last decade attacks invasion and likes it.

I targeting us both of those are available on ACLJ.

Phillips sure some of the content now is years old use of the guide tax evasion, which was made lesson to be prior in 10 years ago.

He had some leading people in it. At that time, Rand Paul, those kind of people that were in it, were talking about it, but it talks a lot about kind of the entire process of how we can reshape the IRS has the late Herman Cain in it.

It's it's really interesting piece that's on ACLJ Phillips.com. Can we do it.

I think it can be done. After the right people in Italy.

It intricately told us talk about my friend last night and Americans it we get a little set in our ways. You sure we don't jump to facial recognition, but there are times when you look at what we could be doing and just because it is the way it has been the way for the last hundred 50, 250 years doesn't necessarily mean with modern technology way we communicate that everything has to say exactly the same. There are ways we can progress in that sense and protect the product actually more people makes things life easier, but that's not always the case because it's very hard to do it very hard to restructure what we see the Supreme Court under attack with with the potential of packing the court adding justices look thankfully this will push back to. Sometimes you don't. What's always progress toward you say hey we had a statement to work pretty well for a while but there are certain things that we can we start the discussion of what it would look like to have a new IRS behavior of leaders when some guts it takes a major action. If you don't get second half hour secular on your local radio station broadcast live right now on YouTube and Facebook every day at noon Eastern broadcast time. If you're already a member thanking God's well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about our life-changing work, member today ACLJ keeping you informed any day now. This is now your hose Logan Sekulow secular. We reset the broadcaster. Talk about a major win came out of the IRS just yesterday. You may remember last week on this broadcast. We were, say, the IRS plan to implement facial recognition technology biometric technology for you to just be able to login you tax information on the website. Well enough of you had outcry conservatives, liberals, Republicans, Democrats that you know what maybe there's not a lot we can agree on right now whether you're conservative your liberal one thing we keep Creon which is a sad state of affairs folks be honest is that you don't trust the IRS with as much information in this much control there is 1/3 party. It was good to get rough, but the IRS listened ACLJ members listen to their friends in the Senate on both the Republican and Democrat sites that you know what maybe we went a little too far with pump the brakes. No facial recognition no biometric technology right now. We'll figure out a more secure way that doesn't involve our taxpayers had to take a selfie uploaded and now skater face every time they want to access their tax information. Maybe there are some other options out there, because look at me very, very few really ensure the microphone log people have that that facial recognition technology.

Most that I believe the stored actually internally but even then Adobe will have some concern about that's not the IRS is not your tax information is oh so there is a big move from the IRS to abandon this and that could be done without people like you who stood up to the IRS once again and said no there a lot of comments this Pearson on YouTube. He said the IRS try to use a third-party private contractor got caught again did that third party raise any legal issues for the IRS, we we thought so. There were certainly going to be some legal ramifications are to come by so who had access to your data, they certainly did. To be on the auditing if you will of that company to make sure they could even securely keep this information, but regardless haven't.

That's great, that's big. What Terry on Facebook sends apostle to the IRS to be totally abolished Google flat tax model that is been a conversation we've had here or at least simplify the tax code where you can actually figure it out yourself without having to worry and stress. Pull your hair out. That is where technology seemed to be that's one of those things every transaction you make. You other than what you do in cash.

We all say that it's become very minimal at this point, specifically the last couple years. Most every transaction you made is digitally trackable and it just look at how you pay for things. Credit cards are we at the point we still need be by hand filling out physical tax information filing digitally the way we do to self-report to make sure all parties across all the information is there it exists, but we have to now typically a lot of people try to figure out themselves use a service that's maybe a cheaper service that messes up a good portion of the time or you have to pay expensive service fees to people who professionally handle your taxes and that's wrong multiple times where they mess it up professionals because you pay your big top dollars to make sure your taxes are set heavy issues. We all had with that still tons times in the last few years, even more so and so there's a lot of those kind of comments we are waiting on a lot of information that could be coming out with this. But mainly, you have to look at it, be happy. There was at least a winner take your wins when you can.

This is a good one. This was a good one for Americans to stand up and say enough look a lot of controversial things happening right now the world the Republicans and Democrats fighting.

There are people against free speech before free spirit speech right now. We can always rest in the fact that none of us trust the IRS. That's good that something always that if we can unite under anything else it will be that we don't trust the IRS. Frankly, most people are scared so if not back anyone good for you. Congratulations that we gotta move on and move on to more issues that are happening around the world and excitement will be joined by Rick Grenell to talk about the new Chancellor in Germany why you should care what that means for the future safety and security of our country. I do want to hear from you and I will be take your phone calls of the IRS or acts of any other matters you want talk about 100 684 31 to the 2000 684-3110 support the work ACL trade ACL. What's your present Joe Biden and will get direct thoughts after that's let's hear from Russian vase that means tanks and troops crossing the border of Ukraine again. Then there will be. There will be no longer stream to we. We will exactly and controlling the project is in Germany's control will, I promise you will be able to go a sort of remarkable statement yesterday coming out of Pres. Biden after his meeting with the new German chancellor, he declared, will bring into the Nordstrom pipeline to if Russia invades Ukraine to get your feedback on that record your thoughts to think they are what the Russians believe them and also just your thoughts on that kind of statement in general being made, and as always when the pushback is made. I get to do this. The answer is what seemingly is always right now which is trust us will just do it yeah has Google he can see the history of this administration and what the Obama Biden administration did he visit another redline Jordan. This is another redline like we're going to do something very strong. If you invade and take Crimea or as a redline in Syria.

If side uses chemical weapons on his people and he love the reality is that the Obama Biden democratic machine which I would argue the current crop of buying appointees are really Obama three – whole team has a long history of making threats and never following through on those threats so don't believe that pollutant believes much of my essay. I don't believe that the Europeans believe what Jeff & I don't even think Democrats in Congress believe Joe Biden seemed that we present a lot of these situations, I like you said that the food has Google almost as if the Russians are trying to everyone like they don't have access to what were saying publicly. It's a really weird that almost like were living in the 40s words like you will talk about what's happening here with old newsreels, but then I can ever see that. Is this still our communications where Europe is giving away so much information that it becomes a threat. Like you said, almost dissolves the pipeline specifically has been such a weird situation were almost the Biden administration has switched places on the way they view what you said before you were defendant and they put it in there and now it's it's that thing they may plywood a pullout pipeline since you did. Biden taken office took office. You really get the pipeline what you think is changed out for the Biden point Washington DC led by Joe Biden. 40 years is trapped into this idea that we just saying the same things, which is like you and they are really going to get serious and it's a situation where Washington is stopped into only military options. I'm really disgusted to see the State Department pushed aside. We need a better State Department.

We need diplomat of muscle.

We need people who are created who can sit across the table and use all of the tools of the US government instead of just sending in US troops, you know, Donald Trump taught us that we have a whole bunch of other tools to use rather than just the drumbeats of war, and I'm concerned that Joe Biden has not understood that he hasn't learned that lesson from the Iraq and Afghanistan war days mean he has shown the State Department aside, we could solve this quickly by putting sanctions under extreme to but we don't and what were saying instead is if you start a war in Russia then will have to go to that really big diplomatic stack which is getting rid of your pipeline doing now we see what who is doing and trying to disintegrate.

The NATO forces and NATO unity and is doing good job Rick this coming close to a more global issue which is that the Democrats and liberals have kind of painted conservatives as sort of warmongers over the last 20 years, when really we saw what happened in the present truck. There were no major wars that all except we took out Isis you give positive things happen, but right before that we were dealing with chaos in the Obama administration and now were back to dealing with this chaos we have to be able to change the narrative because it it currently does not make any sense sure during the early Bush years, you could say that we are also under attack of 9/11 the world with upside out, but that's not the case anymore.

But somehow that gets to still be a point of view that they get to push with the clearly the warmongering this happening is not coming from the conservatives would argue that the warmongering and lack of creativity when it comes to crisis and problem solving is is really a product of Washington DC. If you've been in Washington DC a long time.

Whether you're Republican or Democrat, you immediately go just to the idea of the war and using the, the Pentagon and boots on the ground and we've asked our soldiers to actually do what diplomats are supposed to be doing and winning hearts and minds and trying to negotiate when you're trying to avoid a war so you negotiate in peace. Or at least before a war starts, and so I think that will the solution is is that we send outsiders to Washington again this is not Republican versus Democrat. This is Washington DC versus the rest of America, hundred percent in favor of that summer who spent like brothers their drawings in Washington DC right now. I don't envy him, you know, I spent plenty of time in Washington to replace the robot is not beautiful because people are but it's a yeah it's just the worst of the sometimes and you can feel it and you know it's true and I'm sorry people… Try to fit listening and watching to see about talking about you and I'm of the infrastructure and how things work and it's just a seedy yellow place to be and can give you really go dark dark feelings when you're there because of how rough they can get but there are important reasons why were there obviously is why were expanding a grid brought up change the hearts and minds people.

That is something that in 20 22,000 but that's part of my plan. Here the organization.

The ACL check is to take things beyond the courtroom.

The court was great. We have to be there. Rick, you know, we have to be there but there are ways that we can reach people like never before and we need to start showcasing our message in very different ways and we are expanding and growing what that means we will live to share more with you, the audience sooner than later because there's a big developer tapping. How were going to impact Washington DC but also how were going to try to impact not just our country, but around the world and Rick there is something that happened obviously that there's been some change in Germany. There's new ambassador in Germany you know hundreds of new chancellor Germany you would know as a former ambassador to Germany is just legible thoughts obscures what your general take on this new ambassador are inside this new chancellor business to give you a this new chancellor and the press conference that happened with Joe about will we had to pay a socialist. We were forced to pick a socialist we would pay all I felt the best of the socialist in Germany and so I would say that he's a straight shooter, I know he and he cares about budget issues. He was previously the finance minister so we can look at spending in and making sure that there's a Germany first economic model that's his is kind of focus. So I think we got unlocks the Germans as they continue to peel away from the EU. They want a foreign policy that's more like Switzerland, where their friends with everybody and they can sell cars to everybody. They don't share the same threat assessment that we do.

For instance, they think of Iran as a threat took a lot of work to get them to understand that they had outlined Hezbollah and I think that what we've seen over the last decade is a very comfortable Germany where they had a budget surplus and they're trying to be friends with everyone and they have moved away from the Western alliance and I really believe that and I know it's a strong statement, but my experience in Germany is that they have moved away from the transatlantic alliance with the Western facing transatlantic alliance. They are not a very good EU member.

They don't listen to the rest of the you they think about Germany first.

Remember, they're not paying their NATO obligations of 2% of their GDP and are the largest economy in all of Europe and at the same time they have 50,000 American troops protecting them. I've been in a meeting with Pres. Trump looked at Chancellor Merkel and said you know I don't blame you. I don't blame you for not paying your NATO obligations not paying all that money, because why would you if the United States is going to continue to protect you, it's a smart move, but he also said you can't blame me for trying. Yes, absolutely.

Look, I think this kind of analysis since the rigors of the star audience over and over. You're not going to get that anywhere else you want to know why these things are important. It's very easy for us to come to shut off the rest of the world and not understand why something like a new chancellor in Germany matters. We just found out why it did from a person's apartment that where else you get that except for this broadcast in this kind of analysis they can take that information share with your friends that something that is invaluable. Thank you Rick for your time back on take a phone call at 1-800-684-3110 support the work of the ACLJ directly ACLJ.org only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn.

It's called mission will show you how you personally support publication includes a look at all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Washington Street and what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is powering the right question free copy of mission life today online/challenges facing Americans for substantial time and are now free to sort constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice ACLJ on the front lines protecting your freedoms and rights in court in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times.

The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side. You are already a member.

Thank you. Not well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ back to secular merely taking open lines right now you want to hear your voice on the air you express your thoughts or your celebration really are concerned with the IRS tax season will hear from you hundred 684 31 to 2 questions on the topics that Rick brought up on any topics ACLJ related topic tech is at 1-800-684-3110. Be kind to your phone screen. That's all I ask because your phone screen or maybe a make it on the air don't curse it currently curse you get on the symbols that some simple rules. That's one of that's one of the just don't say anything to you and sell their appreciate that it was call 1-800-684-3110.

A lot of comets are coming in summer related to what Rick spoke about summer related to the IRS and NC.

Also people just calming a general they're just tuning in and want to know what it was because our headline if you well in our topic I was little in a broad reset is a big win against government overreach well to explain the element. Further, if you don't know what it is.

The IRS just a week or so ago we could to ago.

Maybe we covered on the show said to log into your account starting later this year. You can have take a selfie what's if you created a new account. I believe you had to do it right. Take a selfie in with that they were going to essentially map your face is a biometric data and that's the way you get a login for Melody IRS. Maybe some of us in the listenership listener base pushback on that pretty hard. Maybe some Congressman center from Republicans and Democrats that hey IRS you can't go from the stone ages working on fax machines in your dial-up Internet in the out dotmatrix printers then jumping forward to biometric facial technology stock. It happened we don't trust you is I don't know if targeted groups because of just their names or because of their activity the you didn't like because they were conservatives because they were Christians. They we've given you. Maybe the IRS is giving people real reason to have concern because of how many jumped. Abby jumps happy things a pole and loopholes that happen to try to get your taxes settled when you're just an honest taxpaying citizen. You can't do it yourself and to pay 1/3 party within is there work on it and then often is going to fail and you're going to get hit with a bill that you are expecting. That's the kind of thing that the people are not gonna put up with anymore and we have to have some reform there but with that.

That is certainly not to be where the organization stops rocket to say yeah just take our biometric data run through a third-party entity. We hope everything goes well, so much so we pushed back so hard. You're the ACLJ in Washington DC that the Commissioner of the IRS. Charles Reddick made a statement yesterday saying everyone should feel comfortable with how their personal information is secured.

We are quickly pursuing short-term options that do not involve facial recognition so big when there are a lot of calls now, did I appreciate it. Let's go to Greg is calling California online to Gregor on the air. Yeah, my concern is that China and Russia are going to join and make an alliance and that they're going to bowl over all the other countries in the world by infiltrating their infrastructure. Their food source etc. etc. and that before they know it Germany and maybe France, Italy, there you go my God now were part of this mouse and communism is here that is real concern is that a lot of people sure that Greg and there are things we can do this why we have people like Rick relevant staff to advise and give us thoughts on how we can we have Europeans and fly just as the ACL check. We have those organizations in place worldwide, because there are these moments of crisis when you see the world, assorted crumble around you see how Europe is being treated what's happening overseas and you know like you said that it's just going to eventually get to us and that is where you half to pushback as we have to be engaged and find out what's going on around the world. You can't just be isolated.

Sure, you can support American American banker number one concert. Sure, there are issues like the IRS, we have to make sure pushing back against but we can't be blind to what's happening around the world. And like you said if there is irradiance, the situation with the Olympics right now that a lot of people the ratings are the tank. I think a lot of people just choosing to almost forget it's happening and some of them, not by boycott, not by sight. I'm choosing not to. It's almost you want to disassociate yourself is why a lot of us go home.

We watch the news you watch Dancing with the Stars. And there's nothing wrong with that because you put up with so much crap throughout the day. You just can't take it anymore, but we have to make sure we keep engage is why we are developing brand-new ways to reach people with our message that are totally different than what we've done the past because we know is only so much you can talk to news media is 20 3040% down to what it was just a year or two years ago.

Sure some of that has to do with election-year son is due affected your present trump is a much more polarizing engage other polarizers were engaging figure on both sides. Ratings went up because either you love them or you hated it. Some people in the middle but you couldn't help but tune it. Now we will have fatigue we can't let that fatigue set in killer fatigue setting where you are engaged. What's happy to find alternative sources alternative ways to still get your message across. And I appreciate you call it in a way that, a lot of people are commenting a lot of people call it in Joe on Facebook really took that one read on Facebook that I wish Biden would open up our pipeline to shut brushes down instead of doing the other way around. Look at the a lot of people have some real concerns. You are finally seeing your finally seeing the cost of gas and those issues whether related or not. Finally get to people where they realize like it's going beyond even the normal Democrat inflation kind of years where like now it's up to three dollars.

I will now it's for a lot of us had ever seen that if you if you don't live in West Coast or maybe you're not by gas gouging area price gouging gas station by an airport lounge haven't seen for five dollar per gallon allowed Ms. have been maxing out having to run two or three transactions you are seeing that happen. You're saying you're hard (say like I'm a hard left Democrat, but this administration is failing every chance that they can they can't succeed you are seeing voices in the middle, finally standing up weather to Belmar Freeman Tulsa Gabbert using these voices start to get real traction. Once again, because that was what a Democrat was just a handful of years ago and that has shifted so dramatically you see the situation like in Georgia with a Stacy Abrams which we are. We are dedicated to real-time get into. We saw the photo of all the kids in the mass and she is the only one sitting there at this reading educator George Reiger up sit there reading to these kids mask was taken photo.

:-) And all these kids go in masks. We see the hypocrisy on both sides see the hypocrisy. Now it's just when they're gonna wake up and hopefully it sooner than later. We have some calls, then we only have a minute left in our broadcast so I want to say first.

I thank you to Dave and Randy and Barbara, who all called and when I asked him to please call back tomorrow early in the show and I'll make sure your first in line is I do appreciate you calling.
