Breaking news on sink use the ACLJ targets universities anti-Semitism in the first lawsuit of 2022. Born now this is what I hear from you Sharon post call one 800-6843 11 secular also our first loss of 2022. It's filed on behalf of Dr. Melissa Landis. You will be joining us live in the broadcast. The next segment along with Marco Fetter from ACO.

They still trace your counsel as a professor at the University of Maryland for 10 years until she was fired in 2018 fired because of her pro-Israel views prior fired because of her anti-BDS.

The anti-boycott, divestment in section views against the advice of the universities I councils on your faculty and their olives about him that the faculty her faculty advisor so directed by her department after they said work this out three days later terminates or goes to the EEOC process. EEOC says you got a right to sue ACLJ we tried to settle this event in the University of Maryland. This is a giant diversity system.

Obviously this is main campus University of Maryland and they would not they backed away from any attempts to try and settle this matter before I would go to court. The lawsuit has been filed in the in the. The District of Maryland so that the District Court last night by the ACLJ's are first lawsuit 2022 yet. So what's interesting about this case is representing a college professor here who expressed anti-BDS boycott the best in sanctioned statements. As Dorn said she's Jewish sheet expressed pro-Israel sentiment and never was anti-any of these other groups and you think what you know academic freedom is supposed to exist on college campuses. This must be the marketplace of ideas. What the court is said so many times and now you have the University of Maryland professor Hutchinson leisure professor title for this was written extensively on the BDS movement and is an and courses was law professors well and when you look at this and you say to yourself why after the EEOC said settle the case with the building or similar settle this. Go to conciliation and settle this matter. Instead, they fired a double down on it and you ask yourself why would they do that well. I think the answer is quite clear they have submitted their brain their neurological cavities to the left and a globalist consensus that basically asserts that Israel, the most liberal democracy in the Middle East is the font of apartheid actions against the Arabs and it's clear beyond question that any university professor who has a brain would prefer to live in Israel as opposed to most of the Middle East because most of the Middle East is a hugely intolerant place to live. So what we have are American universities. Siding with intolerance. Why because it's politically correct. At the end of the day at the end of the day. It's important for the American people to know these individuals don't have any principles, and we know that this is been a problem not just of the University of Maryland is been a problem at schools where there's a high Jewish student population without naming particular universities that were looking at right now. This is a real problem. It is a real problem is a serious problem and it goes just beyond the palm of Judaism and Zionism.

This is an antireligious global elitist attitude that that disavows any attempt to ally oneself with a spiritual or religious faith or belief in a being superior to the current existing human life. In other words, we don't want any religion.

We don't want anybody who believes in faith. We don't want anybody who believes in the existence of supreme being right, and we certainly don't want Christians and Jews well.

So we come back from the break going to miss the shares.

But if you're watching on Facebook repair shops. The I to have the client on another senior attorney with the ACLJ Marco Fetter but also the professor is going to be joining us live Dr. Melissa Landa will be joining us to share this talk about this is real and you can see the challenges facing Americans or substantial time and are now freedom sword constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades now ACLJ on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights" in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do her work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you Knox well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the worship ministry and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership is empowering the right to life questionnaire free copy of mission in life today online ACL data/secular.

This is our first lawsuit by the ACLJ 2022, filed last night in the District Ct., Maryland Federal District Court.

We are representing a Dr. Melissa Landa was a professor at the University of Maryland for 10 years until she was dismissed in 2018. Because of her pro-Israel views in her Jewish faith, a doctor, Landa is joining us now as well as Marco Fetter, a senior counsel with the ACLJ so Dr. Linda, welcome to the broadcast. And where were honored to represent you, but I think it's important for our audience around the country and frankly around the world that listen to this broadcast to understand what exactly happened at the University Maryland where you were professor for 10 years (well, I formed an alumni organization at my alma mater up on college when I direct that any land anti-Semitic professor and join her leg and I began to appear in the crack representing the alumni clip and essentially we were coming from Mexico and one that began to happen. I began to experience a hostile work environment, University of Maryland 98. Eric began to pull away from me on my chair with him. I would be delivering a paper on friend cancel that he would not deliver the paper with me on.

I went to Israel for Passover. I was told that I would kind of down University policy and I needed to come back because he documented it on the trip to Israel. You actually had authorization from the person to go yet. I had authorization protocol and I you know I was not out of town for a moment, could you mention. For a moment if it was a a Muslim professor going to one of the holy sites within Islam with the class approval of the University's approval and your still cover your classes, they would have done nothing okay this is bright. I just want to make that point because of the double standard, but we continue so you you covered your classes come back. What happens early. I might have several well, I'm not. I'm with family Guy teaching my crap and the first night of the style email from my area telling me that I would basically risk my job. I came back immediately and Dr. Linda did he say something to the supervisor say something like I did not realize Passover was that long visits a week long holiday now know that he did not say that quite out of down University policy and you know I can't remember the exact words but that was all right. I had approval. I absolutely I was in a state of shock.

I couldn't quite believe that and she was not she did not list on LHR and think that the next thing that happened when I try to establish a partnership with the College of education in Tel Aviv, research, and I was immediately on the questions that I that I needed in order to fulfill that research and I had been teaching for 10 years that I had helped to create days after I informed them that partnership that I was trying to create.

I would come the course with the sequence that happened I would take one action that related to my Jewish identity and plan on current rate year.

Okay so we got the clear case of retaliation for being anti-BDS for taking the and also protecting fighting against anti-Semitism. So let's talk about the legal process that ensued here and very modest, but she was an award-winning professor extremely popular had no problems until she started expecting the Jewish state more openly and no attention.

When that happened in her supervisor started to withdraw from her land experience as government discrimination that it wasn't. She eventually reported the nation to the college diversity officer. When she came back from that path of the trip and that's when she met with the vibrant person admitted that she had granted permission for the trip and said she never showed up and she had never realized the Passover in that same meeting providers also accused Dr. Landa using her with her religion really really crossed the line and that's when Dr. Landa filed first religious discrimination complaint to the college diversity officer okay college diversity office. Eventually, but once I get this resolved correct Mark three complaints University, but instead you have to have some kind of compromise will continue done good work and in in direct contradiction to that suggestion by Jan Mendonca Landa so to put this all in context. Then we filed a family lawsuit.

I wish I could tell you that this is unique situation, it never happens. Emily moving Dr. Linda in the moment, but Harry this is happening a lot, absolutely. So I think one of the things to keep in mind is that this exclusionary history as practiced by the University of Maryland goes back at least 100 years and so we have politically correct individuals who do not. The Jewish right to Israel and basically to practice their own faith. We live in a world wherein University officials have mastered the art of speaking out of both sides of their mouths simultaneously. On one hand they proclaimed their devotion to diversity and inclusion. But on the other hand they support the exclusion of certain views, particularly pro-Israel views, which are deemed offensive. On one hand, they proclaim allegiance to freedom of speech and on the other hand they deem certain speech offensive because it allegedly advances apartheid week or because it's religious.

So what we live is in is a globe that is unbalanced, particularly with respect to the nation state of Israel. So Dr. Landa try to work through this and see been there 10 years. Mark said, I've no doubt that your award-winning professor facing this kind of discoloration. Were you surprised at the response of the University of Maryland during all of this like I was living a slow death of my career, I felt that you know wherever I turned I was having doors. I felt that I was being targeted.

I felt that I was being treated for so I will not sure what I had done I felt that I was being charged, not for my work performance for my identity and I thought that there was nothing that I could do.

I felt completely because no matter like time till as I climbed up the ladder. You know authority I would either ignore I would get reprimanded. This marks the let's quickly go through the complaint. Here we allege when we looking for, we filed under title VII proclaimed discrimination and just lost Mark so Kelly were having trouble getting markets.

If we get back we have a right we have check in with that.

Anyway, filed a federal lawsuit here seeking injunctive damages and basically reinstatement right now we want a statement for the professor to understand is not teaching at an elementary school which I think is a disgrace. Here is a university professor reduced to teaching in elementary school.

Not that that's a bad thing. I don't mean to say that elementary teaching is bad. My wife is an elementary teacher but I'm saying that she should be back in a rightful position of the University were sinking exemplary that is punitive damages damages to punish the University for this conduct and associated costs, including the fees and so forth that were necessary to bring the lawsuits.

In other words, punish the University for this anti-Jewish conduct. This anti-Israeli conduct. This anti-Zionist conduct punish them for that and give her back the position that she had as a university professor and what's interesting here.

Remember this all began because the professor, Dr. Landa, who was joining us on the air client decided to speak up because of her alma mater wasn't something you see in Maryland. It was because her alma mater, which is known for being extreme left University now overlooked, but also have hosting these professors who are anti-civil rights connectors anti-Israel but anti-Semites so she speaks out speech right University about another University and it begins this avalanche against her, where as Andy said her career is she wants it was being killed in front of were fighting do something about that the federal government on the side with EEOC came out and said the state should be resolved and should be resolved with accommodation and they would do and that's why were in federal court talk more about this is happening on other university campuses with the ACLJ front center first lawsuit 20, 22, following January 4 only one.

A society can agree most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice right we created a free powerful publication offering you the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called patient includes all major ACLJ rights activist Obama care me anyways. Your membership is right mission life today online/challenges facing Americans is right on the front lines in your freedoms and rights courts and Congress exceptional track record of success.

We could not do more work. We remain committed to religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times on justice is on your side, you're already a member. Well this perfect time to stand ACLJ.you can learn more about her life changing, member today first lawsuit 2042. Some foreign policy with Iran. Record now our supervisor for policy that security should be joining us in the second half are the broadcast. But we want to continue on this that because this is I get it. It's something we have seen that is systemic throughout the University system was one off. It's great to have the Dr. Lamb is the professor we represented the world who are willing to speak out. They didn't just silence. Their view stood up for their views. They suffer the consequences for that but they are fighting back, but they really represent probably thousands of professors who feel like they if they took the same position which they would like to do. They would they would face the same treatment. Look when I gave a speech at the United Nations in the general some room on the issue of the BDS but was put response by Israel in the United States. We what did that and I had their professors that were discriminated against because they work anti-BDS and saying that this is the scrimmage in Lincoln was in the marketplace of ideas. The idea that you can have divergent views but that's not what exists in the University campuses anymore. You know, with all the talk about liberalism.

They are the least liberal because they don't want diversity of views and opinions. Instead, they want to silence here at professor by firing her because of her position on Israel interposition against the boycott sanction and divest movement.

Now she had the right to make those statements. They did not have the right to terminate her for this, but it goes against all of this talk about academic freedom.

Eric doesn't exist.

I think that is correct so universities increasingly believe that the road to freedom is paved with exclusion and so if you look at Middlebury College if you look at the University of Pennsylvania. If you look at the University of Chicago you will find exclusion at the front of the window or the door of these universities, particularly when it comes to a Jewish law professor or other individual speaking out in favor of Israel and against BDS.

So, for instance, University of Pennsylvania professor Amy wax, a Jewish law professor spoke on racial inequality. That provoked an outpouring of the two proration and the privileging of dissenting groups to abuse the professor while her fellow faculty members responded by labeling her speech essentially as a form of a swastika or a burning cross. So this is going on today and now professor Amy wax. She can no longer cheat call 1-800-684-3110 168-4110. This is where any this is getting is absurd in the in the double standard here and we know this is happening in universities folks were dealing with this literally from coast-to-coast yesterday is not only just in the United States but nationwide JI want to give any specific examples, but I experienced this sort of situation with respect Israel, a noted international university overseas.

If you if you are a Muslim. If your teaching Islamic law or Islamic history. It's one thing your praise. You're welcome the red carpet is laid out for you but if you talk about Israel. If you talk about about the Palestinian situation and how Israel is being attacked by that, but if you talk about Israel. If you talk about about the Palestinian situation and how Israel is being attacked by the Palestinians have the Hamas and the groups against Israel are ganging up on this one liberal nationstate in the Middle East then your anathema. You're kicked out you're not and cannot interested in knowing anything about that or hearing anything about that. But if you're talking about Islamic culture or Islamic situation. The doors are wide open to welcome you and I've experienced this at first hand at international university that I would be the last one I would've ever thought I done this so this is endemic as Prof. Hutchison said it's something that is global in its proportions that it is an abomination and it's got to be called out in Prof. Landau's case is one in which we intend to do that to me taken Dr. Landis case to the US District Court for the District of Maryland so we are seeking action in courtroom that was important for me, but instead through the ministry to process and get the result we wanted to get what we actually got the result from the EEOC. I should be very clear. The equal employment opportunity commission came out and said you right to sue here that discrimination should be mediated. They wanted it mediated in the University Maryland told the EEOC. No, here's what the issues here to which talks about fighting these battles, the termination was in 2018.

She is tried out for the last three years that were entering into the fourth year to deal with this without having to go to court with the University Maryland but they were few.

As you said, they refused.

So for years is exited to find other employment. Using her PhD in doctoral degrees outside of the University system and you could imagine that while you have this ongoing with University of Maryland and we know this is systemic at other universities that could be easy to find employment for this professor and other major is right now because you notice pro-Israel you know someone who, as she said identifies as Zionist someone who actively spoke up about her alma mater's really not just the anti-Israel but it's it's me hosting anti-Semitic professors on their campus. That's really how she began this process know where she terminated 2018, 20, 22, the time for good faith is not you know and that's why he filed in federal court and that the problem is these cases, as you know, take a long time and we were just sitting on the EEOC takes years to get through, then you gotta go to federal court.

This not to be over with quickly, we have to fight these cases, folks, or else work were letting one side carried all of the all of the sound.

All of the issue. We can't do that. I think you're precisely correct and so I would argue in favor of a two-pronged attack. First, we should litigate all of these cases.

But secondly, we should engage the public to make sure that the governing bodies, particularly of public universities are responsive to the American people and their values. It's important to note that universities increasingly have become grounded in a presumption that we should reject Western values tied to grace tied to Jerusalem and we have converted exclusion in the name of tolerance into a religion.

And so if you look for instance at the writings of Prof. Herbert Mark Koos, who comes from the Frankfurt school in Germany. He suggested that we should not allow so-called repressive tolerance to advance and what we have done in our society, particularly in universities. As we have successfully. Unfortunately, labeled Israel as a country that advances repression and that that then legitimates discrimination against pro-Israel professors was exactly why your support of the ACLJ so critical because it lets us represent Dr. Landa in federal court. We could do without this I want to thank you for those events have been supporting the work of the ACLJ.

Don't forget to continue to do that it ACLJ.org this is Jordan said first lawsuit of 2022 or days after the new year right your ACL Dragon working through the New Year's. You know you talk about tomorrow. The broadcast reviewing the cases for court on Friday. Vaccine mandate working through the new year because that was due on Monday by brief is filed conceited ACLJ.org the oral argument is on Friday if the Supreme Court will spend time at tomorrow's broadcast breaking that data previewing that for you as well come back. That will be joining us for policy, also involving Israel and Iran ACLJ on the front lines of protecting your freedoms and rights in court in Congress on justice is on your side, you're already a member not well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life-changing work, member today ACLJ keeping you informed and now is Jordan secular.

Anti-Semitism United States on college campuses. But this obviously issue we deal with worldwide. We talked about yesterday was Sec. Pompeo how the UN human rights Council is moving forward a report on whether Israel is an apartheid state and we've Artie filed a reply.

There through our Europeans or from justice to the UN human rights Council defending Israel, but now you have on Twitter by the way, while Republican members of Congress are for present United States it's banned for life permanently from Twitter on the Iranian Foreign Minister respond to an interview by Israel's Ford minister Pete year. He was asked this country had the ability to strike the uranium enrichment facilities or weapon sites in Iran that I think that most people know that question already know the answer to.

Israel has a very sophisticated military it's against a small country with sophisticated military presented itself so many times with actual wars actual invasions of their country started with the founding in 1948, 1967, 1973. And of course always dealing with conflicts with groups like Hezbollah, these proxy groups, Hamas and others to Lebanon was on the Lebanon war operation cast lead, the list goes on and on you about the iron though so you respond to said Israel has capabilities, some of which the world even some experts can't even imagine that that that I get it.

It's it, because Israel has committed itself.

This statement is that this never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon that means more than just kind of strategically utilizing intelligence services to go in and and basically disrupt the Iranian systems which are seen before stocks lead in all these different ways.

At the uranium and that centrifuges it blew up.

But the videotaped report work took military action saying yes we could that's that's all that they were going to go Bobby Ron we want to go Bobby Iran. How does Iran's foreign minister. He tweets this quote we will forcefully and rashly defend the rights interest in progress.

The Iranian people this the kicker.

Zionism has no place in the future the world AK Israel has no place in the world's future and of course called for the destruction of an entire state of people. Yes, input allows that, by the way, that's fine going Twitter you could say that nobody says I love you so interesting about this is Iran is the largest exporter of terrorism in the world.

So Hamas has blocked their proxies for Iran and the idea that you would publicly state with the Iranians do while the United States is negotiating with these people right now that Zionism has no place in the future of the world shows you the level of hostility but we are seeing it in academic institutions. We just talked about that here in the United States and globally were seeing it in foreign policy, but yet Lieut. Col. Smith I think about the fact that the United States is sitting down with the Iranians right now. Absolutely it is hard to imagine what those conversations although there are doing in separate facilities with intermediaries going between them, but it's hard to imagine what the conversation is like we do know from Moran's own statements and from the European leaders that are monitoring this.

They are demanding that all sanctions be lifted, not just the sanctions regarding their nuclear research and development, but all sanctions, including, they have sanctions against them for the ballistic missile program as well as their terrorism activities. They won't all sanctions to be lifted. They have indicated they will walk away from the table… Sanctions are lifted.

But here's the thing. J. Most experts believe there is a real possibility right now that Aranda is not months, but weeks away from a breakout to have their first nuclear weapon. There is a reason Iran is dragging their feet and playing hardball because they think they have the wind in the situation and that is frightening for Israel for the United States and for the world we come back from the break. In order for us to share the broadcast of your friends and family. Record now your visor for policy national security will be joining us to discuss this and what why are social media, the ayatollahs Iranian mullahs. These terrorist radicals given a pass call for the destruction of entire that's no problem.

But if a member of Congress questions mRNA and if you like that it somewhat. The band Rev. present United States man forever sharing their views) challenges facing Americans is no constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever with the Americans on the frontlines projecting your freedoms and rights in court in Congress and in the public exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do our work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side. You are already a member not well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.you can learn more about her life-changing work, member today ACLJ only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice defend the rights of life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called will show you how publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care me in many ways your membership is right mission in life today online/2nd year anniversary since US the Trump side to take out the head of the Iranian Revolutionary guard was conducting operations against US troops targeting US troops the terror forces includes forces throughout Syria. As we were battling Isis. They were also back they were targeting US troops to kill. He was take it out. Iranians forgive you they start talking they start a lot of propaganda around this a lot of threats they call for the killing. The assassination of Pres. Trump and Sec. Pompeo. They've also got further because of Friday. As we said that there was interviewing Israel with their Ford minister and asked if they had the ability to strike Iran's uranium enrichment facilities which some are buried deep in the mountains and he said yes in the world. Though some are capabilities we have some capabilities will doesn't know about Mr. Martin say we want to go start a war with Iran, Israel certainly doesn't want that on Monday. Iran's Foreign Ministry utilizing twitter it's back says will forcefully rashly defend the rights interest in progress.

The Iraqi people. Okay, whatever.

Then of course Zionism has no place in the future of the world.

Twitter doesn't take that down.

Twitter doesn't ban him for life. Twitter is no problem there.

Record now is joining a star supervisor for policy – security for acting director, national intelligence, Rick this, I get a just double state of the social media world, but also the rhetoric that is okay as long as it's anti-Israel, anti-somatic, or even anti-American like calling for the assassination of a US President in a form for Secretary of State.

It's shocking that they are allowed to be on Twitter. They are human rights denier.

They deny women basic rights every single day. The idea that that they are allowed to spew this hate on a platform like twitter and twitter doesn't even notice is is an outrage. You layer on top of that the fact that twitter is really jumping towards conservatives and aggressive about silencing conservatives and I think we got a real problem here, but on the larger issue of Iran. You know what the Israeli Foreign Minister did. Jordan was given a credible threat of military action. This is something that the Biden administration hasn't been able to do, in fact were getting press reports that when they showed up in Vienna or the initial talks the Americans through Rob Malley who has been a disaster negotiator since the days of Bill Clinton giving away everything to the Iranians is very weak negotiator. He showed up and presented the Iranian such a package that the word from the median DC is that even Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor at the White House is been outraged there's not they're not on the same page here in the Biden administration. You got the week negotiators starting to make the normal people within the Biden administration angry Rick, I'm looking at the statements coming out. It's shocking to me that this negotiation even if it's going to intermediaries. Col. Smith pointed out you cannot you know if Trump and Pompeii are not tried in court for criminal act for the criminal act of assassinating gentlemanly Muslims will take out Mars revenge want people to understand what they're saying here. We are negotiating with these people United States. They are calling for trial of the former Secretary of State and the poor President of the United States for the act of assassinating the head of the Revolutionary guard who killed American soldiers and then eat the threat is Muslims will take our martyrs revenge and what course.

Everyone's acting like in the body politic legal that's just I'm speaking the outrage here should be palpable. People should understand this and feel the outrage, but I can I get concerned that were numb to this in the United States is currently this Biden administration is negotiating with terrorists. You cannot get around that that is the factor negotiating with the Iranian regime. They just had an failure in Afghanistan.

You don't think that the Iranians saw that weakness Rob Malley shows up with consistently been weak in the Iranians love him when he shows up with a very generous offer that makes Jake Sullivan cringe. You know that were in trouble, but button to your point J we are negotiating the United States is negotiating with terrorists right now and this is a low point lest you know Rick one things I think about two is that the Iranians are busy dragging their feet and playing hardball in Vienna.

Do you think I should couple questions do you think first of all that they really are on the verge of having their first nuclear weapon and they know this, that the uranium enrichment level is far beyond the 60% that we know about their counting on that.

I wonder what your thoughts are about that and then also when you look at the world in which we live is a dangerous world.

Brand-new year you got Russia possibly invading Ukraine you got China possibly taking Taiwan by force and now the Iranians about to have nuclear weapons. Do you see the possibility for strategic cooperation between those three enemies of the United States to be very careful in how I answer this question because I know that the current DNIS watching my words very carefully. I know this through outreach that has been done and I and I need to be very careful and insane.

What I know about negotiations, but let me let me just drop back a little bit in the general and the fact of the matter is, is that the Iranians are not telling the truth.

Anyone who reads US intelligence any of the five eyes country that is watching the intelligence knows that the Iranian regime is lying. We've caught them publicly.

There been press reports I can quote press reports about them lying about heavy water about the number of centrifuges.

Unfortunately, people like John Kerry and Rob Malley keep forgiving the Iranians and therefore there is no other explanation. Then they believe that the Iranians are telling them the truth and just made mistakes accounting mistakes or numbers.

Mistakes, which is beyond ridiculous. I was finished by saying I believe that what we have right now are people that want to bring the Iranian regime. The current mass murdering terrorist regime into the international fold and begin to have a normal relationship with them because they believe that if we engage with them that they will go down the path of being a more responsible nation and China has proven when we let him into the WTF that's not true you say they they take them at their word.

They make mistakes with one another to commit their word with a safe if the former President, former Secretary of State are criminally prosecuted by the world on ICC then I work in the cut were calling on Muslims to rise up and killed the want to take another word for that because the State Department is filled with people who just believe that engagement is the only way that you have a very hard time holding people to account. There are no consequences for behavior. There's only forgiveness there's too much mercy and not enough justice. If you want to put into biblical term and and and I believe that that's a real problem if you want to have effective diplomacy you need diplomacy with muscle that create standards, you know, I'm looking at some headlines. Rick politico Iran nuclear talks resume, but time is running out to strike a deal foreign policy to bind. He knows it's Iran policy is failing, but Iran is the largest exporter of terrorism and especially in that region. We know that we got just about a minute and 1/2 year, but the fact is to be negotiating with them right now. Since such a horrible singles were analogous.

Where were the Biden station is currently negotiating with the Taliban. They are supporting Lebanese government that is in coalition with has a lot, we are forcing the Israelis to sit down with a government that hasn't had an election since 2005, and whose coalition partners, and now what we have is a a administration is negotiating with the Iranian regime. At the same table and pretending like they're part of the international community. This is an outrage. We need to have standards tell you this. I really appreciate you taking time Rick and being part of our team and I also appreciated your hesitancy on on what you are saying.

Totally understandable and invokes. I think it underscores the fact of how fortunate we are at the ACLJ to have someone like Rick Cornell as part of the team here, but this I were dealing with the Iranian threat in the University case, which is the separatism threat in the University case for representing a professor was fired after 10 years because of pro-Zionism statements. We got the situation in of course we responded to with you when all of this is happening because of your support of the ACLJ folks we just want to thank you thank you Rick is always to make every God when we come back I will get this was also a preview to case the Supreme Court on Friday. The reps of the heritage foundation a lot to talk about their well potential outcomes of that case. But I get this quarter working ACLJ.org. We will have a blog up to on this profession of be up later Stacy can see what we file a lawsuit, 20, 22 by the ACLJ ACLJ.org will be right back only one.

We represent the heritage foundation ACLJ. This was to get work done on route over the New Year's holiday before even Christmas December. This is heritage heritage foundation, filing a lawsuit against the Biden administration's vaccine mandate for private employers requires testing. It's very complicated.

It is puts employers in a very bizarre a position with their employees on top of that we want to point as well the the two to comply with this is becoming nearly impossible in the United States of America even since we filed the initial lawsuit because you like there's separation of powers and issues that constitutional issues violates the Constitution, the federal government should not the right place between when our initial filing as before, but I feel like guide of the NFIB and so the states will be making oral argument on Friday before the court is the testing requirement is present binds that you can get the test Google where you can find a kid even by these test of the countrywide.

So, for they know that you're the damn cranberry and is showing up on the test. So here's the problem you're right Jordan. The case is changed dramatically since we filed. I mean, this is what so difficult. As you know when I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am pro-vaccine, but I don't like the government coming in like this. Putting a mandate in place that you cannot comply with when I say can't comply with were trying to figure out internally here at the ACLJ be in compliance and were sending you draft an email that you sent your employees.

The nursing does this actually work and now the testing issue is really significant number of cases or through the roots and unfortunately the number of fatalities are starting to write just because your number of cases are going up, but the supreme, but the ocean initially said they did not have the authority and capability to do this and you know what the truth is, OSHA was right and he they don't know they don't and the President of the United States himself said on December 27.

There is no federal solution.

This is something that belongs to the states and in our reply brief J on behalf of the heritage foundation.

We opened our reply brief with that statement and just shoved it down Joe Biden's throat. There is no federal to look in a time of crisis. You look at your Constitution.

Nonetheless, regardless of everything that may be going on where a constitutional republic and we look to our vision to guide us through all sorts of crises are Constitution says we are in a federal system.

This is not something that the United States central government has a role to play is not provided for in the separation of powers. It is a matter that is left to the conduct of the state and that is one of the principal arguments that we are making because Harry, here's my this is the perfect example where the states could tailor the situation to their specifics, which is what needs to be happening because the state governors know what France's governor represented another case she was on last night on television said they do have adequate testing capabilities in south dakota, but in a lot of other states. that's not the case of the states could tailor those kind of remedies. i think that's precisely correct. and again i complement and economy on his brilliant legal analysis and it's too bad that the biden administration hasn't hired him to interpret the constitution but we have federalism for a reason conditions vary throughout the united states and we also have infection rates that vary throughout the united states. so it makes sense to involve the power to the states and label them and empower them to do something about this situation. instead, the biden administration which has engaged in an absolutely fantastic series of bumbles from afghanistan to omicron. it continues to bumbles its way through even though joe biden said they would not shut the country down. but, be they would shut the virus down the key.

the key issue here is, does the federal government have the power to tell a virus stop and i think the answer is absolutely no government doesn't have that power. we have people traveling throughout the world and the virus is mutating and so i think joe biden should be a little more modest, very dangerous, and this virus is.

it's called the smart virus and i don't like when getting into the medical i'm not, but the hospitalization rates are starting to really climb january to be a very bad month for this for the country and we know that is the right thing employer. of course we put in the filtration system where employees are sick, they stay out of this is that this is what i have noticed about this mandate. we've already seen times having some airlines they had to cancel 4000 flights a day and that still at issue with travel united states because they were doing the right thing. they were covered testing by the way, these are a lot of companies had their own internal mandates for pilots and staff. and there still testing positive. we also know that even boosted fully vaccinated americans are getting this there testing provided for this kind of virus so this mandate, which again doesn't it doesn't work because you can't even adequately get the test from the present i say just google waking up or get away like 10 hours we suck kids waiting outside laguardia freezing temperatures and their parents try to get tested. i saw that last night to engineer. here's the other problem with all this in an you know unfortunately this is evading the vaccine system impact of the virus will be much reduced this with all the sciences showing much reduced. if you vaccinated. having said that osha is workplace.

that's the problem here. they're not in their jurisdiction well and harry's right about the biden restriction bundling this hold this whole response and the cdc is not helping. the cdc came out yesterday and said that if you've been exposed quarantined for five days. unless you test positive.

continue quarantine for 10 days but no one can get a test.

this is the this is the great disaster that is happened here, and what i did. could you imagine what speed got the vaccine to the american people into the world that was under the previous ministration with great success.

but now we can't get tests is not totally tell you the problem. the problem is with the biden administration. they they put the focus for saw every time the President speaks it's confusing.

so when he spoke this week confuses americans because the one who sang. it's a pandemic of the unvaccinated the other hand you saying that if you're fully vaccinated, boosted, you will test but you can you can get this new variant of omicron that's where the problem becomes for this employer mandate is test are not even available.

we are talking or outside counsel your face seal jake and there's that you having to go through a trained order these and in bulk number from his employer, you can order which are not always uses the employee is supposed to have easy exigent by the patristic health insurance can reimburse you for that won't matter if you can get. if you can't easily get them on the talk about waking up on one day of the week where the pharmacy tells you russian and this is the one they reviewed shipments that somehow this will work on the problem of course is this reportin addition, and they could have done that. so when you find out friday with the argument, the court could issue administrative state that afternoon. that would be a good sign that let the states regulate this. not the federal government. but if they don't that's also not a good sign and that this doesn't part of the stone effect monday. what really went into effect is that they delayed it to look that so here we are having this is just the nature of what it like i said i'm very proud of science and the vaccine and i can vaccinated and boosted them also be really careful right now. why because as things get around.

most people are, you be careful. i wore a mask is called smart the mandate is so smart, but a seal to see all of our briefing on this careful oral argument.
