You will be a seal. Jay's work for now is broadcast. You know the expertise we have legally the United States on so many different topics and around the world. You know, of course, we sometimes we dive into foreign policy sometimes regarded to legislation because were guided to cases at work.

I like the life cases across the country. Whether it's informed consent case at a South Dakota were represented govern over the state.

Whether it's the case that a Mississippi before the US Supreme Court that were waiting on the opinion on our early this summer our legal team is his gaze all across the country and the world. And I think important to do for you as well that our government affairs team as well but is to come assure you that scope that supports regulars that is the end of the year approaches because I don't if you're like me, you're able to do it every single day to the broadcast that you enjoy, or the radio broadcast you and so you might miss a couple of days because something comes up or your routine has changed so we wanted to kind of give you a sense of what the kind of work that were doing at the ACLJ that are what our lawyers are doing all across the country is are fighting for the constitutional rights of individuals, the conscious rights of states sometimes were suing states sometimes were representing states.

Other times it's the federal government that we are taking action against even in those cases, though sometimes overtake he actually gets the federal government were representing members of Congress at the ACLJake of course we should decide these petitions were able to do all this work because of your support at the ACLJ of of the bricks are flawed justice we could do all this work we don't charge these clients. So whether it's state or individual you go to ACLJ.org/help.

If you believe you need legal assistance and an actual ACLJ attorney is going to respond to you and if it's a case that we would handle as the ACLJ we will do that and we take those steps, we talked about before. How in the first step is is is sometimes these individual cases where your constitutional rights may been infringed by a school or a state entity or local entity or federal state.

You start off with the information letter and see if they backed out, if not a demand letter that ultimately working with the client decide if they want to file a lawsuit, but none of that cost. The client so they're able to to protect their constitutional rights but also all of our constitutional rights because they take a stand so your support of the Americas are flawed justice that ACLJ.org during this critical about this. The most important.

Both of our year is December and Ed beat because I get were working through it. You know that the case involving the vaccine mandate for employers we are, we diligently working through the very in the year because the briefing of the Department of Justice in defense of the mandate is not due to the Supreme Court until December 30. So after Christmas a right before New Year's cheer supported ACLJ right.

I believe it is going to work that is happening right now at the Americas are flawed justice us to go to ACLJ.org and support our work get double the impact of your donation there you here today about a pro-life work rights of students on the rights of employees like we just talked about the rights as citizens as well so I just encourage you as you listen today about all the different legal work refocusing it on. We wanted to do this so that your up-to-date if you miss broadcast. If you get a cousin I get I know everybody wanted to do every day is a big you're not able to solve for a full hour always. So this this shows to give you an opportunity to get a scope of where we are legally and I think it will encourage and support the work.

If you're able to financially@aclj.org right now through the month of December we have our matching challenge. What is that mean a group of donors who can match each donation that comes through ACLJ.org so if you donate $20. That is like $40 because it initiates that of a $20 donation to a $20 donation so you can see why this is such a critical time. If you're able to support our work do so@aclj.org that ACLJ.org] the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACL. Jay's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift dollars $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge today make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online ACLJ only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you are personally pro-life publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later, and parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to the pro-life the many ways your membership is empowering the right to question your free copy of mission in life today online ACL data/back to secular sin.

There's lots to talk about today is the next segment broadcast obesity are Haggerty of Tennessee, the US Sen. who is working to strengthen what we just talked about before. We talked about a lot of the broadcast of years, which is the tailor for sex, but there's attempt to give it some more teeth so we talked to him about that in the next segment broadcast but ACLJ victory.

First student in Wyoming Abbey.

We were contacted by the student tell people initially what what happened and what I can't stand at a public college fair and and she had enrolled in English and had decided to write about historical figure antitheft, which was with in and the confines of the assignment and however shortly after submitting her first essay, she was given a zero on the essay and because at the content until she gets given a zero, the sick, the worst failing grade you could get in college what was the professor's response to you why she had a zero and the professor had given them and boundaries for the essay writing at the beginning of class, and which wise we don't hear about abortion and I doubt want fantasy or fiction, and I don't want to you and read about your religious beliefs and that this was different. She was writing about historical non-fictional character in on her personal religious beliefs right of Jesus being a major historical figure whether that your religious person or that there's not a real discussion about whether he existed.

And so there's a lot to write about this. There's authors who don't were not Christians who have written books on the life of Jesus and Ed pointed to where it marks in history so she contacts us to put those parameters on try to. I am sure for that student. They it's a little to maybe a little confusing and that we help try to clear the way. Tell people how we got got this a handle and she just immediately with her professor and apparently left her supervisor.

The supervisor of the program had mentioned their belief that there was academic empathy teacher there and say what we explained for the state and we provided her with an informational memorandum that explained why her rights as a student are and which is academic freedom and and the freedom to write about her at a topic such as disaster long as it's within the confines of the assignment and here at last.

We armed her with the information that she needed to know that she can advocate for herself and for her rights and she tested a sale.

We offered to help either that she was able to schedule a meeting with her supervisor again talk the matter and they actually did a great allow her to proceed with her essay on Jesus, the information, but it's a good time to point out this this is a step below try to send a demand letter.

It's deftly two or three steps below before filing a lawsuit, but allows students who may be the situation your file lawsuit against the school, but they do need help and that the second level help a bit like a demand letter, but we were able put this information letter in law that's available ACLJ.org for people and we respond must every day to make our class with an informational memorandum and then we provide in our contact information people want to just know that that what they believe is strength that they have rights and as rights are being violated somewhat advocate for themselves in the statement did not very well and need the ACLJ to intervene between LCD on a weekly basis. The demand letter and carry out that the college-level ops of it should. If I was times professedly whether not they thought this Jesus was a fiction character or to a dozen little read about students, religious beliefs, but again it's like I feel like I should be able to the right about the hobbit, but if it but if I was Muslim with a not let me write about Bob. We certainly historical figure of huge significance absolutely. But I think this movement in Wyoming is very, very consistent with a prevailing pattern in universities and colleges throughout the United States.

These colleges increasingly are rejecting the world of objective reality, and objective truth. Instead, they are grabbing and accepting theories from the Frankfurt school in Germany, which rejects the notion of objective truth and accepts.

Instead, the notion of fantasy unreality and untruth basically is the foundations of society. So I think this move is consistent with the notion that professors by and large, now this is seeping down into community colleges. They seek to overthrow the Western tradition in one way of doing that is by rejecting historical figures like Jesus, you know that one of the six Abbey to I thought the student was very gracious to ACLJ they had some issues getting help tell people about what happened there and she actually indicated. Now this radar statement when I retire to provide information and I followed up with her to see how things were going and she said it really means so much that you guys responded, and that this is important. I have tried getting in contact with others for assistance as well and you are the only ones that respond. Thank you so much.

It's right there. I think that stands up so much for what we do at the ACLJ is be able to direct directly assist and and supposedly people think here about us really see us in other media or even on this, the sick leave about my situation too small.

It's not a big enough issue is about really look at the Sioux. But this is a good time to remind our supporters but also those people by hep B in those situations that your situation is not too small and it will have actual attorneys associate that's exactly right. And we do on a daily and weekly basis.

A part of our mission is to educate parents and students in organizations as to what the right time here right of the state at TU and engage in religious expression and unit consultation requires that there be neutral academic criteria may be charged back neutral criteria and said that's what we did is make sure that she last touched by neutral criteria. This it to be this it's it's important to just_if you go to ACLJ you feel like you're in a situation like this is ACLJ.org/help you put it. It's basic information about your spirits, which was always whereby people's time here because the Tivoli's come up Christmas Eve work were able to handle those ribs talk about that later. Two of the week and next week as well.

Most of those are being handled. More simply as well where if you feel like totality your city did something that makes you uncomfortable or change their policies this year. Sometimes you just utilize the resources ACLJ.org but if you need a little guidance.

We are hearing and it doesn't cost you anything and it certainly just put in the information ACLJ.org/help. It doesn't take long to get response as I please not hesitate to reach out this is this is key for a bit in Washington DC to because that is because speaks to me is the core work in the ACLJ were there for that college student Excel. Yes, we have Yost US Sen. coming up next on the broadcast at the core work of the ACLJ is those students and parents and people who who are active in their community who know the something that happened to them was wrong. They just need a little help and how to how to put it into words, if you will, and make sure that there is law back. It is the heart and soul. What we do at the ACLJ. Jordan and to be honest with you to work that we do appear Washington DC the work that I do every day really is done to enable the work that we do on the ground. I mean, to preserve the liberties that people have all across this country in a Judy Jordan is you are talking to Abby. I had a couple of thoughts on the one was how crazy is this double standard is I just have no doubt that if this student was writing about, you know, Joseph Smith or even Dr. King Gandhi urging out some other summer some other character affiliated with a different religion or even a Christianity, Jordan, but if it wasn't Jesus himself. I don't think there would have been a problem, but the second thing that came to mind is, is that what you landed your conversation with Abby on II just want to encourage people to not be afraid to contact the ACLJ because so many times these issues can be resolved. Respectfully, behind-the-scenes just arming you with the information you need to go advocate for yourself and Jordan. We can sort of dial that meter up according to how you know the client or the person involved here desires.

If that doesn't solve the issue. We can go to the demand letter letter level. If you're comfortable with that. If that doesn't dissolve our resolve the issue. Sometimes there are lawsuits that can be pursued. But I guess the bottom line thought for me. Jordan, we can't do any of that. If you don't contact us if we don't hear about the situation.

If you don't have an opportunity to arm you with the information so kudos to the student. Kudos to Abby and just a reminder. That's why we do the work in Washington DC so that these situations down the states down in your communities can be resolved in it in a satisfactory way to their support for a lot of those individuals a student in particular with you with your baby or your business if you work in a big company looking to necessarily follow a lawsuit on this company are looking to correct a wrong or just make sure you have that feeling that what happened to you was wrong and were there for that, so you don't have to just think ACLJ lawsuit, only that if it but that when we contact you. That's the that's the last resort. The first resort is to try to prevent having to file a lawsuit because we want a quicker resolution and that's actually how we handled majority of cases is on three informational letters or demand letters and were able to resolve them fairly quickly.

Typically when someone reaches out to leak or class files, but in the scope of what we gave we are able to respond within 24 to 48 hours right folks get that race will be up ACLJ.or with a blog about that victory. Abby great work.

I represent that student in Wyoming a lot to talk about your tutor to go on the show today Sir Haggerty from Tennessee is joining us. Next will be talked about the try to add more teeth to the Taylor force act as well can educate you about that because back in 2018, with some very important law that could be strengthened that Republican support effectively get Democrats or for support our work in ACLJ.org double impact your donation is ACLJ that on the entire month only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care me in many ways your membership is powering the right question mission life today online/American Center for logistics were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this. For that we are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online.

Okay to mark the litigation councils up in our office in Washington DC, is joining us because we had a nice I like pleased to report that get resolved quickly and expeditiously because of the work of our lawyers, but I like I said is not everything is a Supreme Court of United States. Not everything is the international criminal court make not everything is court. Sometimes you can just get them resolved. Christie also by the way was the Virginia bar young lawyer of the year, which were very proud of. So Christie, what will broadcast tell us a little bit about the background on this particular case it was an interesting one, because the sign that was put up became the central focus of this tell us about the case and are jailed at his personal workstation now went out there and they were stubborn.

Other employee air workstation to explain how the decorations and crop and grape gold Oliver Hibbert country nerve.

So arm for second spot shall cease good Sabbath. Shalom is peace, so it's peaceful Sabbath good Sabbath. Shabbat shalom is a traditional Jewish greeting on front going to Friday evening and on Saturday. Good Shabbos is what it said it in in in Hebron, you show it's it's a very common expression. Now why this was compared to a Nazi symbol is beyond me. Christie C1 explained that what is at what their justification was here and allowing God because there cleaning great Jewish extendable Shabbat shalom.

Good Shabbos is a traditional greeting that literally was creating a constitutional substantively intervened for this company which were to coming to pray really it's ridiculous. I'm glad we got resolved, but it shows you this and then comparing it to two zinc somebody could put up a Nazi symbol up there, which is by the way, not the case. So I need to know what they're talking about but go ahead well I think your analysis is spot on. So if we focus on Shabbat shalom as a quote on quote of incentive either symbol or set of words I think it's important to keep in mom that we now live increasingly in a culture in which this type of confusion expands and I think it's part of a willful policy with incorporations within institutions, and particularly with in you. Universities who see to find offensive statements even where none can indeed be found in Christian come back to the second, I want to go to Wes on this matter.

Tie this into the wreaths across America in this sensitivity factor that anything that even hints of religion in good Shabbos is is not like a proclamation of about about religion, but it's just a recognition of that particular Friday, Saturday. Within the Jewish community messianic Jewish community as well, just to me it's this this lack of understanding is mind-boggling. 20 years after the sprinklers resolve these issues, absolutely because you we have in America we have freedom of religion and religious symbols are allowed and they are everywhere.

There's a lot of misunderstanding in particular because corporations and companies they feel threatened by group that complain but we cannot let a litigious individual or litigious group wrought people of their free exercise of religion, or are symbols that are meaningful to them. Like the Goldstar family so let me let me try this back Christie, so this was in his private workspace other people and other religious symbolism. Other than that reference to you know a swastika which is really not makes any sense. Think of any other reason. If they a lot of the religious symbolism up why they were really targeting should box shalom only language that so the fact that Shabbat shalom was in the Hebrew was enough to get them concerned. Literally, they don't take it down to what we do we draft and it sounds like an information letter laying out what his rights were what happened with that general manager at the entire company in many entire company thinking about it and it was promptly right that Stein was restoring the general manager went ahead and forward it to the chief of HR for the entire company to make sure that all the clamp across the country are following and protecting the rights and 13 number one person standing up for the rights one plant in one town ends up affecting the human rights policy. The display policy for the entire company that's coast-to-coast so that should be encouraging and I certainly certainly are. This happens all the folks we get these all the time. We don't spend hours and hours talking about these owners but there are times when we want to this one of those days and it does tie into the situation with reach across America. This religious sensitivity that's out there that still that smacks of something that might express faith. All of a sudden, they treated like it's it's best.

Some ceiling tile that's always to argue. By the way, it was our line.

I think Jordan Lawrence, a friend of ours came up with that and that in the 1980s and 90s. They treat religion as if it's a specimens in the ceiling tiles. You gotta cover it. You gotta seal it. Don't let it out of the public square that you would think 40 years later, I think it was probably 35 years ago when Jordan came up with a door large and that we would be passed that but here we are. But the good news is we got resolved quickly and that is important. So Christie, thank you. Thanks for the work on that we appreciated. Thanks for the update. All right, very good serial folks that shows you the nature and scope of our phone lines are jammed with time, the Swedes wanted to minutes by technical say let's go to Heather online with the text has to go ahead and go out and just love decorating. He loved everything Christian about about and I can't give myself and I can't travel out there that company knowing that not only that there are people who care every year they can decorate me when I can't do it personal thank you for calling were so sorry about your loss, but your husband service to our country will never be forgotten. And I just want to say this. This is why these groups I get infuriated to say it with Mikey Weinstein's hyperbole here. You're such a tough guy you file a lawsuit because somebody I want to play for you Mikey. What Heather just said she can't go to Arlington so she's thrilled that wreaths across America can do this for for family Wes. Thank you Heather for your sacrifice because you sacrifice so much we appreciate your phone call. We do remember you and this organization remembers you and will always stand up right so question that will schedule the first half-hour. If you don't get this on your local radio station broadcasting live right now on ACLJ.org and across social media and YouTube will be right back. The American Center for Law and issues at home and abroad time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100 make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family. Give a gift today online okay keeping you informed and now is Jordan secular.

If you're a regular listener. This broadcast. You know the expertise we have legally the United States on so many different topics and around the world. You know, of course, we sometimes we dive into foreign policy. Sometimes were diluted to legislation. Sometimes we dive into cases at work.

I like the life cases across the country. Whether it's informed consent case at a South Dakota were represented governed over the state. So whether it's state or individual you go to ACLJ.org/help. If you believe you need legal assistance.

I want to take a few minutes here. Jordan said thank our members around the country. We sat down at our board meeting last week and reduce end-of-the-year boilermakers gives you a good sense of where you are and we had an incredible year and we been able to accomplish a lot, are now more than ever campaign included the hiring of Rick Cornell for director of national intelligence, member the cabinet present from the former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also met from the cabinet for previous administration and their part.

ACLJ's international team were to announce in the months ahead. Some big moves internationally that will impact the United States as well. So we got some really big plans for 2022. I mean significant expansion. It will it's like doubling down on now more than ever, but I have to say this to our members. None of this happens without you and I will tell you like were not like a lot of organizations that we don't have you know we don't get a get some were appreciative of everything were not will get regularly $10 million grants and million-dollar grants.

It's very rare for us. I mean, you could look at those over the course of our 20 years and we are building Washington was a large donation from foundation will never forget that. That's been 20 years ready but it's because of people like you. Lots of people like you that make a difference. That was what we decided to do 35 or 40 years ago when we started that it was couldn't be more of a we now call grassroots model, but it was really good to be supported by everyday citizens. The people that wanted protect religious freedom, religious liberty and protect our freedom and liberty as American citizens and we have been blessed beyond anything we can imagine we facilities that we came in when I'm wearing these facilities. I spoke amply when these facilities but that doesn't happen without you, but I just wanted to stop and say thank you from all of us but is just me and Jordan on the set today, but there's a lot of people working behind the scenes. As you know when that will have a camera back that we should really get one and around this entire office or offices around the globe. Thank you. Without your support. It doesn't happen.

As we said, wearing a matching challenge campaign when the last days of the month. George let you how to do it makes a big difference on how we can proceed is very easy to get ACLJ.org that's ACLJ.orgy around the home page there is a Foley tablet computer, very quick to buy time again we come back this break easily.made the donation and you CLC matching challenge or donate either one of those taken right page info.

Choose the amount you want to donate. You can also choose one make of recurring monthly donation that will still be part of the match class that all the time that will be part of the matching ACLJ.org is a great time to support grassroots 25,000 nation is facing a American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith uncovering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this. For that we are grateful to others and help way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online. Okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when used with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care me in many ways your membership is powering the right question mission in life today online/beloved Texas law on abortion. We talk about the case were doing for the Eighth Circuit doing with the issue of abortion and we got another one in the Third Circuit released the New Jersey Third Circuit. Now back to the trial court is beginning the broadcast we had been standing for life, including everything from the modern technology on life and defending people heart pills and that kind of thing to sidewalk counseling and as I said in 1988. We will hurt County state court representing 400 protesters who were speaking out for life, including sidewalk counselors.

They were all charged with crimes getting a great victory in that case, and as I mentioned in the economy. Father-in-law was the John Lambros and Terry smiling down from heaven right now and that was I'm it's hard to believe.

I believe it was all those years ago. But there was 33 years ago J fighting for live just as you doing today you were chief counsel of ACLJ then you still are, and we were fighting for life before judge my father-in-law who said very clearly, I'm not going to stop anybody from counseling somebody on the street against murder and that's exactly what he said and that's where he put his ruling in his judgment, but all those 400 protesters were being prosecuted for crimes that were criminal cases.

J if you remember no case is over so yeah those three gestures in XRT's senior counselor. The ACLJ was 32 years ago was and he said we got one right now the background is based on the New Jersey Englewood New Jersey adopted an abortion bumpers on the ordinance that prevents sidewalk counselors and others. I'm going within 8 feet of an abortion clinic entrance driveway. Although agents of the clinic today, including so-called escorts are permitted free passage that you can believe that this ordinance is almost entirely work for work the same as a Massachusetts buffer zone law that the Supreme Court unanimously struck down as unconstitutional, and 2014 Emma: 2070; the Coakley when we sued the city on behalf of the longtime sidewalk counselor who in the rain and cold. You know, no matter what no matter the weather wants to speak with women entering the clinic and like all sidewalk counselors. She doesn't want to show them graphic pictures of things and yell at them or anything like that. She simply wants to tell them that God loves them that help is available to them and their children that they are not alone.

Well after extensive paper discovery.

Numerous depositions multiple rounds away from we got summary judgment from the District Court. It was a resounding victory when the court where the court held that the ordinance violated both the United States and New Jersey constitutions.

While the city appealed to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and because of a panel not exactly how shall I say ideologically friendly to our clients position the court reversed the District Court now.

The court didn't uphold the ordinance, the court said that the constitutionality of the ordinance couldn't be decided without a trier of fact making certain factual determinations so that we were getting ready for now. We currently are to work on reviewing and putting together the materials that are needed for this pre-final pretrial order which is due on December 3 and informed just four days after that, we have a final pretrial conference and the trials going to be scheduled soon. Right after that so I think people understand the scope and significance of this. You actually made history here trying this case by Sue. We may be trying this case by you know we've heard a lot about the Supreme Court doing stuff by teleconference and a lot of the Court of Appeals doing things by by zoom and here we are doing a trial with numerous witnesses, numerous documents and all of that, all being done via zoom so it's to get that it's a new day and will will see how it goes. Are working hard to make sure that we have all that technology into a few practice hopes to make very different. I'll tell you that I got depositions. I did an arraignment on about two weeks. It's a very different process, but I want to focus on for another moment here that we getting the ACLJ the fight for life, your father-in-law, this is I know will bring up the sow's ear.

Still, senior counsel with the ACLJ we mentioned the case in front of Judge Lambros, your father-in-law, Pat Monahan and I were caught were already working together and he was my cocounsel. We have been doing this for decades. It's amazing and you know we have victories along the way that we meet along the way but we keep fighting every day every month every year we keep learning not just for the right to life, but the right of sidewalk counselors to be able to speak about life.

You know how this goes to show you this current administration used to be. We would talk about the Clinton administration abortion safe dangling where that's not that we now have an all out all abortion ideology at work in this administration and the current ministration doesn't want what I'm saying is don't want to ensure access to portion they want to force people into painful in the case of medical professionals even want to force people into participating sidewalk counselors are literally on the front lines of sharing the pro-life message for those who need to hear it. Most in shutting down that speech you know it's it's not just offensive to the right of free speech which you have been working on my father-in-law's been working on for four decades now, is an insult to those women who are entitled to hear that abortion is not their only choice and actually just have to say it all relates to our case in the Eighth Circuit representing the state of the South Dakota abortion is an irrevocable choice with enormous consequences. Why shouldn't women contemplating this choice be counseled about the options that are available to abortion ideal ideologues would prefer to keep women in the dark, and ignorant of those options and all just goes to show that the pro-life cause which you and others have been working for decades now is not Johnston and defensive line for the unborn life, called the pro-life cause and those pro-life laws are pro-woman you know it's it's interesting you said that Eighth Circuit case because there is one where They just forward a new idea. Again, like seeing in Texas. These are new approaches and this was informed consent where they were before the woman has actual abortion. She would seek counseling. It will be provided no cost. Just make sure it's not a course abortion because that has actually been a serious issue and even that Planned Parenthood in the subject they do it because they don't want women to be fully informed of the choices they are making in the case of Planned Parenthood.

It's not just that they are 100% behind the abortion ideology is that for every abortion. It's money in their pocket, and that's how that's how waterline criminal. It is, and that is how why we should not expect Planned Parenthood agents of Planned Parenthood to be getting counseling regarding out for women's contemplating abortion about her options ridiculous. We need an independent third-party counselor to objectively gives the woman when forms are one of the options that are available to her.

Now she hears all of that and wants to go through with her choice and that is her decision but right now, what we need to do is ensure that women are able to give full and informed consent regarding this irrevocable choice with enormous consequences will tell you this yet even fighting this now for decades to amaze you and I think that you and Jordan that hold our whole team Eric Zimmerman monastery. This whole group of lawyers and their Internet on the 40 foot some coaching, 50 that have been fighting this in this fight will continue. We are not going to stop this fight and Logan even mentioned earlier that we have a lot of resources a lot of content available on this 30 years of our four years must've archived content on this issue started very early days of the pro-life movement to how things have changed. What were doing. Now multiple documentaries whether choosing life, which was history since the 80s and 90s pro-life original movement for Lottie listening were part of that movement go back with so much great footage from that time periods is really interesting to watch the kind of crazy, both sides erasing lodging in a way that about 10 years ago, but available on ACLJ films.com. More recently we did felt abortion, Inc., which shows on whether the see the business side of the abortion industry. If you will that's available as well on the ACLJ films.com and all the apps also believe it's available in the dams we have developed for Roku and Apple TV can find that the ACLJ up beyond that ACLJ.org to find a YouTube or Facebook jail. For that we are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online. Okay, here we told you about the city of Louisville failed attempt to crack down on pro-life sidewalk counselors tried to use covert covert pandemic is covered and then that that did not ultimately go into into the law the past that the new city Council, which is a different political balance, took up the offer. So measure again this year.

This year's version of the ordinance makes no mention of the public health emergency. It just it was about alleged history of blocking, obstructing, harassing, care facilities, well we at the ACLJ represent those sidewalk counselors. I see your counsel, Frank Manion joining us now because we have filed a lawsuit in federal court or in Kentucky and friends that this is a get a justice quarterly seal Johor ACLJ go back and thought that the Supreme Court right here fighting the District Court not just was gonna say is, as we have Frank come on here you know we were just talking about something on the national level were we work hard to get a piece of legislation in the Democratic house modified so that it would take out the ability of the IRS to spy on you knowing that and get access to every Americans records that more than $800 in transactions initially was $600 in a single transaction. We got that out. We got a watch with the deregulatory but also the same time were doing that. We got our lawyers, like our senior counsel Frank Manion and his team filing federal case in the Western District of Kentucky on an issue that's front and center for the ACLJ and that is pro-life counseling outside of abortion clinics. Frank tells about the case for a field day work you are utility Supreme Court one of those Hill versus Colorado cities and towns across the country are still focusing on even though in 2014: verses complicate unanimous court, including UL RPG and soda Mayor place sidewalk counseling by pro-lifers at the top of the hierarchy of free speech right struck down a buffer zone ordinance in Massachusetts, and most importantly in the context of this case completely ignored Hill versus Colorado we overrule it, but essentially they said the case doesn't have any impact or any effect on what were doing here what happening is local government like in Louisville like in Englewood, New Jersey were getting ready for trial next year you ignored them a call in case and in our case against Louisville were calling about two account think you just can't do that if you've got people breaking laws, obstructing, hindering, assaulting, harassing, go after them easily capable of doing. You don't shut down part of the traditional public forum to peaceful sidewalk counselors so you mentioned your Frank that I went to the Supreme Court twice on this and then the third case came out and and there's probably a series about four these cases involving these buffer zones with the floating buffer zone.

Remember that one and and then you had the like where everybody when you click talk to them. You can animal-based literature. So here's the question I know what our audience is saying goodness you you all argue this of the Supreme Court then were subsequent case that even affirmed even more. You're still having go back to the District Court to enforce what the Supreme Court already said is the law of the land happening. Local governments giving into vociferous, well-funded, influential pro-abortion 20 where they are and we saw in Englewood, New Jersey, and were singing here in Louisville, Kentucky, and they're just ignoring what the Supreme Court said it's just amazingly shake her head Supreme Court decision in abortion case that went our way. That has never ever happened and so they just pretend it didn't happen and they go back to the hill case and other cases that we easily distinguished and that's why were hopeful that either were going to get our pulmonary injunction. We file that motion today order to get this up to the Sixth Circuit. Then we got one going up the Third Circuit to know where I see this J… Can you get a chance for you to get back to the Supreme Court finally happened drive a stake in the heart of the constitutional goal that is Hill versus Colorado before first thing I'm 65, like this like is like coming back around and I have been arguing his case is now Mona since 1985 and I know you are doing those Frank back in the 80s. So if my math is correct, what is that 37 years. Think about we look the same. Frequently as I thought it was worth pointing out was that when we did last year when this failed they were trying to literally doing this when Louisville was experiencing massive protests after the verdict was Breanna Taylor and admit the same time. This is how aggressive this pro-abortion movement is debt-free. I frankly just shows that that at the same time that was going on like the streets were not being able to be under control. They were trying to get through this buffer zone you are going after quiet all caring pro-life sidewalk counselor who just want to give women alternatives to abortion, and frankly, I think the reason they go after them if they're successful at persuading women to not go through with abortion. 50 times a year. Our clients have been successful in turning women around by offering them caring, loving alternatives to abortion, and so under the guise of trying to go after lawbreakers and instructors and harassers they really want to go after the sidewalk counselors because they are successful. It's interesting to me. Frank is a reflect on this.

I want to thank our ACLJ members because the truth of the matter is we cannot do this without you, and it does take incredible perseverance.

I'm just thinking about that was thing about those early days of those cases you don't 37 years ago and then in the 90s.

It was a big issue give me mission case and that men like you said Hill versus Colorado than it was Matson.

Remember all those cases and and then you had a I know you Franklin and the team get up around the country and yet here we are again having to do this as were actually waiting on the abortion issue and look women facing a a crisis moment in their lives. Having an alternative short abortion is really important and I applaud those women that make that difficult choice. Sometimes for them. We we we think about we say what.

But were not the person that having that situation and I applaud the willingness to have the child bring that child to term.

Got six trinkets.

The technology now my brother-in-law Gary Hickson said this many many years ago.

The technology was to get to such a point that they would never be able to the pro-abortion crowd would never be able to deny that this was a child in the mother's womb, and that technology is there yes is there is making more and more difficult for this movements to try and pull the bullet so the rug over people's eyes.

It's it's ultimately here we we fight all of these battles and we continue to fight all these battles because we believe in free speech. We believe in the frights of the sidewalk counselors.

We believe in the ability also. We believe the life of the unborn, and we believe that we should do everything we can to protect it. Whether that's a supported case out of Texas for that supporting the case of the Mississippi. On December 1 of Supreme Court.

The Dobbs case, whether to South Dakota on informed consent. We are working on so many and always have on every single front when it comes to life every way legally possible. Whether it's protecting your pro-life speech, whether it's protecting a pro-life viewpoint whether it's actually fighting directly. The abortion industry in the late-term abortions and supporting that legislative bands on those late-term abortions and now I weave into the new air where we can directly challenge Roe versus Wade, the Supreme Court decided actually going to hear for the first time since Casey, a new challenge right on space row versus Wade.
