Democrats have shelved Biden's Build Back Better bill, seemingly overnight. The ACLJ has opposed the Build Back Better plan, which would further empower and add funding to the IRS - an out-of-control bureaucracy which has unlawfully acted as a political tool against both conservative and Christian organizations. Jay, Jordan, and the rest of the Sekulow team discuss the crumbling of Biden's bill and what to expect next from the radical Left in Congress. This and more today on Sekulow .

Power lines will fall apart.

Now, call 1-800-684-3119 Democrats basically shelved build back better or go back bad. However, you like to describe this is the massive spending bill trillions of dollars included a lot of their programs renewed deal socialist style spending programs that were out of control. You got a lot of opposition to this from from the individual, small business communities from the corporate world say this is going to hurt. Further put America into debt. This would increase inflation and have not been able to get the votes on this even through reconciliation so bypassing the filibuster they can't get their caucus in the Senate together a Joe mansion has held that said no. So at this point time we always are very careful with Congress. You watch what deals they could be making as I can always make it, but it appears they have shelved the met the basically the hallmark legislative piece, Joe Biden, especially when you're going into a midterm election it looks like you're going to almost certainly lose one of the that the houses of Congress, the U.S. House and Ed likely up to our potentially both the House and the Senate, which means that for the final two years of your first term in office.

No, no major legislative spending or bills that are highly partisan are going to make their way through, so the shifting tried to shift to supplicant pressure mansion on Moore which is we need a federal re-takeover of voting rights yet, so let's look at the two aspects of this I think are fundamental here 100 bill backbend remember, that's the provision that had the 87,000 IRS agents $8 billion to the Internal Revenue Service and also the famous you know we do have expenditures of $8000 over the course of the year. The IRS can go in and get notifications from your private bank so that falls apart if this doesn't go through. Then they switch to the voting rights act. But remember, that sounds very lofty except the voting rights act plan actually had a revocation of the learner rule which was the one that prohibited the targeting of conservatives by the IRS that we went to court and one including a declaratory judgment by the federal government. It was be real about with the voting rights bill is J it's nothing less than a federal takeover of the election system and if you look at HR one, the bill that passed out of the house, it takes over. Essentially all of the state rollover voting mechanisms and as you point out, J goes even further and it says the prohibition on the IRS to do the targeting that we know that they did that, the court said they didn't and gave that court order you're talking about, that they must stop from it would repeal that prohibition J so it's it's absolutely sweeping money just tell you real quickly DOJ this is what Pres. Biden said last night.

When asked if they should pivot off the bill back better.

This is what admitting defeat. Sounds like he said if we can get the congressional voting rights done.

We should do it. There's nothing domestically more important than voting rights.

It's the single biggest issue. Jordan what is been the biggest issue under Pres. Biden's agenda every day for the last top couple months it's been bill back better this with David try to sell to the American people if they've had is a fence across the country is out of the blue states about the red states trying to sell bill back better, but Americans aren't buying it. The businesses aren't buying it individual small business owners, you got this massive opposition to it and so that really the only people if sold audit are the far left there spitting, it's never enough energy to submit enough spending but there now pivoting toward issue that again it puts more pressure on mansion. It's a voting rights act the way it sounds. It sounds bad to opposers right after the break down why your opposing something that sounds like something would be adopting. But remember what's in that build the revocation of something we went to court for an one so that was this idea that the federal government through the IRS can target individuals based on their names are the positions that they advocate whether they use the Bible as a guidance or reminiscent but it set to this what they're trying to do encourage a PR based program or social media platforms share with your friends right now. That's up Facebook YouTube rumble wherever you're watching right now, we encourage you to do that and give us a call at 800-684-3110 we think about all this. 1-800-684-3110 the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. Seal J would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the seal J's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the seal J the work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn. It's called mission life will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to serve the many ways your membership is empowering the right question for you mission life today online.

Seal J/684 31 to this this holds through new year. This is a big victory because going into the midterm elections directly makes it much more difficult for Democrats will be the same house the same Senate going into those midterm elections to try and put forward a such a controversial piece of legislation that like many issues Biden team. This is coming from there.

It's his proposal legislatively and I had a concert contrast this with the Obama team when they were selling the affordable care act and how much of a better job they did Sally get to their own party. They had their old members delegated in voting for the affordable care act knowing that because they voted that way they were giving up their seat in Congress.

But they were able to pitch them.

This was such a important piece of legislation for Democrats for the country. It was worth that what you're seeing here is Democrats are not willing to give up their seats for Joe Biden spending plan and I think it's because the clarity audit. It's made no clarity.

It's got from you got the far left pushing $5 trillion. They're not happy with the about this is that right you have the remaining few moderates in the Democrat party really only in the U.S. Senate say I'm not going there. I would document you the people I talked to at home when I go back to West Virginia. They know what this doesn't make sense say that you have a program federal program for one year, so you can score it economically is no such thing as a federal program for what you think. You begin a program up and running in a year. So the idea. They basically use all these legislative tricks and the American people notice that the and if so know it was sold audit. You don't see anybody so you know except for the Biden partisans, which is not really where the Democrat party either.

Her say like this is so situated, you know, it's not so essential when he's immediately pivoting as Chapa reported to shelving this and say, goats, voting rights and an elbow support so at this meeting so we got two issues to I want our audience to focus on because this is that this where our government affairs team led by Ken Bennett comes into play in that and that's this the bill back better program had in it. That provision that said if there is expand initially with subdued expenditures of $600 in your checking account. The IRS could go in get the information without a warrant without probable cause from your bank will be required to report it. And that's initially what was can happen here so that's that's number one number two Cave 87th authorization for 87,000 new IRS agents and the number three okay it was I think that was $8 billion, but the IRS was getting 8088 alien bike one year and that yet would like spent over a couple year $80 billion to an agency that's totally out of control. So now they pivot to voting rights, will that sounds in a high and lofty, except voting rights bill says that the basically revokes the when we had at the US District Court for the IRS conceded innate order was filed with the court that they were engaged in unlawful and unconstitutional targeting of conservative groups and Christian organizations and that they would do it again and there's present particular procedures and basically in this voting rights bill they want to make the Democrats are proposing to do away with that. So, have you had this dual situation were there to make this pivot because the other was not going so well within the bill is really a miss the voting rights bill is a misnomer because it's really nothing about that. I think that's precisely correct and this is consistent with the progressive's playbook. Democrats, like all progressives are addicted to the ceaseless pursuit of power and control. This pursuit is sold on the basis of advancing liberty, freedom, perhaps even voting rights. But this is a massive Trojan horse that shrinks the American people's freedom and its important to keep in mind with respect to the voting rights proposal that this would shrink our constitutional rights because the Constitution has guardrails which insists that this state governments have power to control elections yet, so then let's get a kind of break I think during this what you're going to exactly what is happened what's going to happen likely in the hours and days at which we now lease the engineer yeah jamming for the last several weeks.

The only priority in the United States Senate and that Pres. Biden would have said is that they were getting get billed back better the past. This year, and just as recently as late as yesterday, leader Schumer same. Working to get this done by Christmas. That was the only priority on the table for the United States Senate and for Pres. Biden J. Bottom-line Amini could not get center mansion to agree to vote for any version of it so they've essentially conceded defeat on that now they won't say it that way. So what they've said is they've said what we think that the voting rights bill the so-called voting rights bill is more important so that's what were going to focus on this year. The problem with that though jays they need to do one of two things to be able to get that done. They have to either get to 60 votes to overcome the filibuster, which they will never be able to do or they have to convince Joe mansion and Kiersten cinema at the new the filibuster that something that neither one of them has said that they're willing to do so. Look, I just want to kinda give people a peek around the corner. You know what I think can happen. I think sometime in the next day or two there you say. Well, actually it's more important that we get a bunch of nominations done for the state departments are working to try to break you broker a deal with Sen. Cruz and get that done day. I predict that's the next move.

But to answer your question specifically, they've now failed on bill back better and they're trying to pivot to voting rights, predict they're going to fail that he thinks and felt okay Jordan to be discussed at both of these pieces of legislation are IRS paragraphs so you had to go back better, a new basically were to re-create the agency size wise double that you 87,000 ways, $80 billion to go after specifically middle-class Americans, people who left who are if you believe your binder socially, economically struggling and so don't have the lawyers and accountants to help prepare their taxes when the IRS comes knocking out with these audits so you got that issue directly. So if that's gone then you moved to the voting rights. That legislation, which also then re-empowers the IRS to politically target. By the way, I think you like this if with this list Republican in the next Republican this fish could politically intentionally politically target Soros's groups and leftist organizations. That's how they're writing it now. They write this way because they know that the bureaucracy inside the IRS. You get one commissioner 11 General Counsel epic is a present, but the rest of the severe. It's a little bureaucracy work for.

So even if the Republican's were control you never be able to get those things done and I don't think it's right to do that. Anyways, the IRS should be targeting liberal groups or conservative right just because they're liberal or conservative if there should be reasons why that are outside of partisan politics.

It doesn't mean they can't go after people who are running faulty charities and things like that they already do that. They don't need special rules to allow them to do that. This is a special room content begin to let them go it. It's a really focusing on his conservative groups were to ignore all the dark muddy from the liberal groups.

But what so ironic about both of these pieces of legislation areas. They both focusing on giving power as Georgia said to the Internal Revenue Service. The agency that is least capable of self correcting the agency that is least capable of playing it even because they don't and we know this better than anybody because we litigated them in one, but in two cases, one with monetary damages were client the other with injunctive and declaratory judgment and permanent orders, but they're trying in both of these bills that are both failing right now to empower the IRS.

That's what the American people need to know I think you're precisely correct. So Democrats routinely claim that they are all about achieving and advancing liberty at the same time that govern like employers as we can see with respect to the voting rights bill and with respect to bill back. Better essentially, the Democrats have decided to target conservatives as part of an election reform effort. This is not election reform.

It's about election control allowing bureaucrats at the IRS or elsewhere to place their luck on the necks of the American people, and I hope the American people will reject this effort to be just unique that every major piece of legislation. The Democrats want to go through so the pivot from bill back better, which is been a disaster and it's a disaster because the Biden administration couldn't sell it. The consult the American people. Thus, the legislators themselves were not willing to go out on a limb there already so many Democrats retiring from Congress because the that they faced no prospect of being able to win their next election when you can even sell them. You can't sell them that there are you retiring this is again it shows you the difference incompetence at whether you like the Obama group or not. And we said we were posing almost everything they were doing but they were much more competent legislatively. They knew you get a victory. Those first two years we got the house and said it because it's likely gone after and then you got a regular run for reelection at through a second term to pivot this way is open to both piece of legislation trying to empower Internal Revenue Service to scare Americans out of the political process. I think it ties in to the January 6 committed some of their hijinks. They been caught doing as well try to scare you out of the political process that is extremely dangerous in the United States should feel like you have the freedom speak freedom to support whatever political candidate that you want to support and you not going to be punished for that. Both these pieces legislation what they were trying to do was his re-empower in a federal agency to do just that punish you to scare you, to silence you.

And ultimately it's too chill the speech, which is unconstitutional in the United States of America. Each piece legislation.

Don't forget that we can keep the pressure up on sitters like Joe mansion they don't fold sale. This is not this the voting rights. It's good no look at what's actually in the legislation only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally pro-life and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership is empowering the right question for mission life today online/American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Now there's an opportunity for you to help way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift is $20, $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online ACLJ rise again tried to lie and mislead the American people on actual evidence of these committees whether it would start back.

Remember you got caught doing this with Craig in the impeachment therapy. He made his own transcript up of a phone call and when the transcript was released. Also, price price, it didn't match up to what he said that's bike. Let's but was we could again the that's bike 24 to just remind you this is how we kind of started with making up this Ukraine call and now he's making up information in the January 6 committee take listeners had a flashback 2019. Adam Schiff tried to say that this was the will. This was the actually bought impeachment by 24 this is the essence of what the President communicates. We've been very good to your country. Very good.

No other country has done as much, as we have but you know what I don't see much reciprocity here, I hear what you want. I have a favor, I want from you though and I'm in a say this only seven times so you better listen good.

I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent understand lots of it on this and on that to put you in touch with people not just any people to put you in touch with Atty. Gen. United States, my Atty. Gen. Bill Barr.

He's got the whole way of the American law enforcement behind him to put you in touch with Rudy you're gonna love him. Trust me, you know what I'm asking. And so I'm willing to say this a few more times in a few more ways and by the way, don't call me again I'll call you when you're done with this.

Time is right there that was made up. He reads that a false this is the sound like he's reading something that's like a transcript right except for the President never said don't call me again. He didn't say it when what he did say want you to dig up dirt. No, that was we started yes we use the course we use the back ship said those words incorrectly at the impeachment to show that they're basically creating evidence you think they would've learned from that because it really blew up on but they don't learn from. So instead you got to January 6.

Six.

Select committee and what happens now will now. Adam Schiff, staff is come out with an apology. Why because they put up as evidence. Text messages purportedly from Mark Meadows from Jim Jordan from Vermont Meadows except they moved the actual punctuation and left off portions of the text messages to make it look like they were calling to go answer it looks like if you are looking at this. It looks like Jim Jordan was directing Mark Meadows to take a specific action on the election, whether certified how to do that so it's is on January 6 VP Mike Prince should callout all electoral votes he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all. That sounds like Jim Jordan saying he must do this writer. This is what you should do Mark Meadows in the present should VP.

In fact what it was was Mark Meadows affording from a lily attorney their opinion and its catalog opinion if you would put the text attribute to see that he was escorting along somebody will send to him some legal theory and and that's it was a direction to Mark Meadows from a member of Congress was a member of Congress sharing a lawyer's opinion and he decide to send that along to Mark Meadows. Maybe they make it sound like a music director probably make it sound like that these the text message was was supporting this overthrow of the election, which it was not. They change where it set and now this is again on the play number 13. Here, this is Adam ship from a hearing just a couple of days ago, but this is the one with the graphic here we go we can keep the first graphic. This one reads on January 6 20, 21, VP Mike pence as President of the Senate should callout all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all. You can see why this is so critical to ask Mr. Meadows about about lawmakers suggesting that the former vice President simply throw out gross except it's not what the text message said because there's a commitment they made. There wasn't. There was another sentence and it described the legal theories that were being promulgated. Would you agree with them or not is irrelevant. So they're using that as the basis to Mark Meadows in contempt when she himself adjusted the evidence that's being. By the way, adjusting is being time they manipulated the evidence of what they did. November they've done that every eye attorneys did that to get fortis on America classes to get find things they haven't Satan they got caught. They got caught in the gun trouble processing disbarred and so I beat this is this is the norm for this side of the aisle is to make up information you what's great about this one is why we decide to bring it up today because it's just shows this idea that the partisanship of these committees is at a level that is so high that you can't take anything.

These chairs say for great gift dig into everything. The piece that Jim Jordan got afforded to Mark Meadow in the text reads they got because because people said Jim Jordan doesn't syntax a. This is very yes or no kind of text or so.

It was clear is a copy of patients and other tax was published online already. Something already published online on a website that are the next day the discussion grams note there was no hiding. That's the law, delete the log so high that wasn't hiding it. Jim Jordan was admitted he was not making a direct statement that alone again trying to mislead the other members of Congress mislead the Department of Justice mislead the American people so they have voted contempt against Mark Meadows, former Chief of Staff based on evidence that they naturally says we need to talk with Mark Meadows.

That's what Adam ship said except the basis upon that was evidenced a manipulative fan Bennett because this is happening on Capitol Hill what the reaction to this. I think the reaction J has been the tampering evidence doesn't get you to the truth.

I mean look on and we we've all said to January 6 with the dark day and those that are responsible should be held to account the look you don't tamper evidence to make that happen when you do that it doesn't get you to the truth J so a look.

The House of Representatives already voted to hold Mark Meadows and content they did it before. This revelation happened. Look, I just think it's a telephonic essay so the Department of Justice should not proceed in light of this revelation because this was evidence tampering.

That was the basis upon which a motion for contempt was passed by Congress when the evidence was either intent, but had to be intentionally of course, manipulated, and that is what Adam ship.

That is why we need to speak to Mark Meadows to meet when you manipulate evidence, the Department of Justice to say no to that contempt order. I think you're precisely correct. So if you look at Adam Schiff and if you look at his history. Increasingly, he is committed to one thing and one thing only insulting the intelligence of the American people so the Democrats continue including Allen shelf to flee from truth.

What in hot pursuit of the land of make-believe.

So shift is prepared to tamper with evidence for political purposes and I believe if the DOJ proceeds with this contempt order against Mark Meadows, the American people would justifiably hold the DOJ in contempt but in real life, not fake congressional hearing, hearing, life. This would mean that the dissolution of the of the committee you know at this point you've altered evidence about putting people in jail sitting them.

You know, in contempt of Congress which could potentially lead to prison and your editing your altering evidence is already a hyper- partisan committee.

The only were a couple Republicans enjoyed Schiff and the Democrats are already people called to peace the President they are, they are outside the norm. Either one is retiring from Congress, the other may be retired by the voters in Wyoming, but to be the seat like Liz Cheney doing this would own father's VP title war with or without weapons of mass destruction. It's kind like really me a break right on Washington DC stop lying to the American people.

People did something wrong, prove it for real. If you have to alter evidence that means you can't buy the way we have sent out a letter. It opened up on the screen to the Sec. of the Army and others on behalf of of the wreathlaying ceremonies that are going on across the country this weekend as we took affirmative action there support the work of the ACL dinner matching challenge@aclj.org the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the world who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you and your family.

Give a gift today online ACLJ.keeping you informed and now is Jordan secular Schiff chairs. He had a committee when you always give look out for is made up evidence are made up messages made up transcripts that try to mislead his fellow members of Congress and the American American people Department of Justice, especially China, putting people potentially in jail you holding them in criminal into if a criminal could tip the cost at that quite you know that that cost the people who are involved and when you start taking their text messages that they received and edited. When you put them on the screen so that it appears that a congressman was directing the White House Chief of Staff to take a specific action rather than sharing an article which was the next day was published online publicly no seek legal theories legal ideas within our country that become illegal chairs that is for lawyers if if this becomes actionable. The idea that you and I was I sitting during the law professors and lawyers right law review articles when they expound theories and here they are trying to criminalize a theory. I think that is correct. So in the past you had to actually make an affirmative statement in order to be convicted of or even charged with contempt or perjury.

For instance, now having an academic theory, a legal theory that is becoming enough and I think it's outrageous.

I want to play again. We do this in the first half-hour, but for those joining us. Or maybe station the adjuster have our.Adam ship went to the floor, the holder for Mark Meadows in contempt and this is what is basis was taken was number 13 week acute. The first graphic.

This one reads on January 6 20, 21 in their place. June 1 graphic they put on the screen graphic. We have an up on ours that said something that was not actually in the text. Now go ahead VP Mike pence as President of the Senate should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes All. End of sentence except that's not with the text message said the text message wasn't from Jim Jordan. It was late was a whole other sentence.

Added to that, and then Adam Schiff wants to use this fake text message that he put up the hold Mark Meadows and contemplative the rest of this you can see why this is so critical to ask Mr. Meadows about about a lawmaker, suggesting that the former vice President simply for gross.

Okay well they formed a member of Congress did not say that a lawmaker did not suggest that and your office had to come out and issue an apology. Meanwhile, that apology was issued after you made a criminal referral to the United States Department of Justice on Mark Meadows, the former Chief of Staff who of course has executive privilege to begin with but just put that in perspective that they would willingly do that manipulate evidence to start a criminal contempt like the FBI attorney is Jordan said earlier changes a email the words of an email attaches it to a FISA application part intelligence surveillance act and submitted to a foreign intelligence surveillance Court and gets caught more like Adam ship your new set making up the Ukraine transcript. You wonder why people don't give this credibility. That's why not me. You can caught he would have to Don Junior was a WikiLeaks they they they change the dates so the dates regarding the dates were extremely important to that whether or not that was anything more than just forwarding along nerves was Artie in that if things were already leaked out in the news. It was leaked out by major news outlets instead of showing that if you change the dates it looks like he was trying to get caught their shifts caught their get caught with the fake transcript with Ukraine transcript got before concrete Congress and impeachment sitting impeachment listed and made up transcripts to justify and stuck with that thinking that people get it such a partisan environment. It will matter now. He's done it again while referring people for criminal asking the department of justice. Three criminal charges gets up at all it was was an article that posted the next day filed by the attorney shared with other directed there was that you know that's again if he was clear about it at least be honest about your evidence.

You live that your evidence is time to dissolve the power of the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life and commerce ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift is $20, $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge today make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right question for mission life today online ACLJ/you the entire beginning of the impeachment of this Ukraine phone call to Adam Schiff was surprise, surprise, he was asked by Jim Jordan got a grudge against with Jim Jordan because Jim Jordan asked him straight up. You know the whistleblower your staff you had contacted and she said no.

He said that's a false statement. I do not know the identity of the whistleblower that it was the New York Times not boxes of the New York Times reported that Schiff's office had been working with that whistleblower even before they filed the complaint and they were in ski wasn't really necessarily notified but this this is the problem with all this at the it's a lot but he got out of Congress is a liar yes heat and it's Jim Jordan, who we'd like you said is a personal grudge which only goes after but I would put this in a bigger perspective. They are exercising an awesome power of Congress the power of contempt. They often exercise the awesome power of impeachment. These are serious things you want to impeach a sitting President United States was a try to impeach a present that were no longer present, and they do this with a transcript from Ukraine that they make up literally make up the statements and they played as if it's for real. And then we go to do the trial. Of course we win, because that's never what it was. Bob Muller does report the mullah report and they get a FISA warrant against an American citizen. It's based upon what a false doctor email from who and FBI lawyer attached to a FISA application part intelligence surveillance application to find work to the foreign intelligence surveillance Court then Adam ship moves to hold Mark Meadows, former Chief of Staff of the present drop in contempt of Congress which is referral to the Department of Justice because as he we play before he said that we could Q the first graphic. This one reads and is quoting from it. On January 6. VP Mike pence's presence and should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all okay.

Not only did Adam ship not tell the truth about the substance of the text message which was doctored in the graphic that he displayed, which was incorrect.

The fulltext text message which was forwarded to to Meadows from Jim Jordan on the evening of January 5 was much longer than what Adam ship put up there. Why because it was an opinion letter from a lawyer. That's what lawyers do. Harry absolutely so.

Congress exercises awesome power with respect to its ability to refer an individual to the Justice Department for contempt. It's important to note however that the referral in this case with respect to Mark Meadows was grounded in false and misleading evidence. This in my opinion is straight out of the deep states close out in going after Carter.

Page and using false evidence to procure.

For instance, a FISA warrant, so this continues and I think at the end of the day. Adam Schiff is the manifestation of one thing and one thing only human corruption, but usually the original text was actually written by a Washington lawyer and a former Department of Justice part of Defense Inspector General Joseph Schmitz and included a four page draft Word document drafted by Schmitz that detail. This legal reasoning and Celexa was published publicly. The next day so bad then Congressman who still hold Mark Meadows in contempt and Adam ship this says it's because of any use.

This fake email as the basis and then the boat took place.

Dear the content measures are immense and over the DOJ J. Look, I think this is a page right out of Adam shifts typical playbook and I would I would even take people little bit further back at people remember when this commission was set up leader McCarthy was supposed to have the ability to appoint equal spots on the commission. J2 of the members that he appointed were Jim Banks and Jim Jordan and Speaker Pelosi said no we won't see them on the committee. That's how you got the structure of the commission that you have now look if you were to pursue this. In this event. J it needed to be a bipartisan equal basis a leader. McCarthy should have had access to to appoint equal spots. Jim Jordan J was one of the people he tried to put on this commission in the spin Speaker Pelosi unilaterally said no factors once they put Adam Schiff in that role, you know it's it's this is this is that it's been cooked that there's no there's no rational discussion here about right and wrong. Who is really responsible.

Why did Nancy Pelosi not allow the National Guard. A request was made and and why we not talking about that at all that. Maybe her office made the wrong decision to about what kind of protection is the capital going these large rallies were going to be occurring and that people were angry in the country and confused about the election that didn't take a rocket scientist to know something said no to the National Guard within not focusing on that's why the whole committee is corrupt from the court because instead of getting at the actual truth they put in hyper partisans and two angry Republicans who are no longer really part of the Republican mainstreaming more likely straight.

He was removed from her leadership role and Abby talk about an interesting play because executive privilege was definitely asserted a lot of those Bush years, especially because they would to a war on false information that does that mean I'm physician executive privilege. No talk about throwing rocks in glass houses look at me mapping it. It's Liz Cheney her for her father led the efforts for a war in Iraq based on false information: Powell went to the UN.

He had to eventually say what he did.

He felt wrong because in bad info. Let me plate this is the chili how that the circumstances of this this is going to Chuck Todd as Adam ship about this evidence that he said he had in his possession that clearly and unequivocally showed that Donald Trump was basically being manipulated by the Russians and it was all this collusion and conspiracy. Take a listen number 18 and circular all you have right now is a circumstantial case actually know Chuck like I can tell you that the case is more than that and I can go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence.

Now, now, then Chuck Todd follows it up so we talked about direct evidence listed in 19 you@direct evidence of collusion. I do want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial and and is very much worthy of investigation, of course, none of that was true, after spending $40 million with Bob Muller's investigation unit to remind people of the impeachment was not about Russian they had Artie failed their because they made up.

There was nothing there was, but he had the Muller investigation. All these people so they can't find anything and Adam ship had nothing because there was nothing there was zero. There so what did they do they shift to a phone call. You had the entire apparatus of like the White House national security. About 35+ people listening in on this phone call between present drop of the new President Ukraine at the entire time, and he made up the transcript of that and that's what the basis was for the first impeachment was not Russia Adam ship had to find something else in the family sit over think this phone call will make up our own transcript and will impeach on this and that was a casual remind people that first impeachment. They couldn't use Russia because that was done that. That effort found nothing because there was nothing there but remember who did use Russia.

I did because I used that the way they in which they laid that out as a basis upon which okay this is true a basis upon which they started and special counsel investigation which the special counsel new months into it. There was nothing there and Adam ship was talking about. He was talking about Christopher steel report with the Inspector General's at end and by the way, the FBI and everybody else is not that which totally based on no sources totally incorrect.

And that's the basis upon which they move forward. So were the reason for calling this out today and when we debated going back and forth for the ring to do this is we've seen this pattern and practice play out, but then to refer Chief of Staff over to the partner justice for criminal prosecution on congressional contempt when the evidence and use it as proving it in your offices now acknowledge you doctored change the meaning of change what was in it change the sentence structure change the sentence. You can't do that when you believe in the rule of law and all they say this is that there from this, the committee and their spokesperson was the select committee is responsible for and regrets the air. They literally someone is going potentially facing criminal charges because of their error. Why aren't they know the FBI attorney did. He's no longer turning because he doctored evidence to get the phis award reauthorized a Carter page, so he he's no longer turning these members of Congress again is that the people get to the side of the district decide who to elect but I just do not understand Thad why Nancy Pelosi when they know they're facing a tough time with the house and the Senate.

Why go continually to the Adam Schiff why not bring up some new people some new blood who don't have a history of of making up evidence misleading and it's also failing so you really thought was the wife said at do they go to Adam Schiff as as if he is the only person I could do this on the Democrat side of the aisle will Jordan, if you wanted the commission to have credibility you wouldn't do that if you wanted the commission to have credibility would also let the Republicans point. Who ever they wanted because you would want the actual truth to come out, you would be wanting to push the narrative out a lucky would have Adam Schiff on the commission. The other thing you wouldn't do Jordan. If you are looking for the truth.

If you're looking for credibility you would not or evidence just plain and simple way the headlight lawmakers of our credit else phony real court real trouble for Adam ship oh yeah but your members of Congress again, political leeway, but let's us all understand here there go after private now private American citizens voting evidence is dangerous major supporter work@aclj.org W impact throughout the entire month of December to cause we come back. A warm welcome to secular euros a year to my question is no. Adam ship wide why they're not grounds to remove him from the super saw the Democrats control so that one is you would be really removed of your committee seats in the chair being the chairman of the Intel committee and being on committees, we see that happen on both sides of the aisle, but that's unhappy with Nancy Pelosi set that's one to he probably still get reelected where he runs a California it's very liberal so that they like what he's doing.

The doctor to judge him on this. The way that really the American people do. I think they see him. They see another partisan actor like hyper partisan actor like Pelosi who is willing to get make things up like saying I got the evidence on Russia but there was no impeachment on Russia and it was. I got the truck this transcript of the phone call except for that was the actual transcript. I'll let you phis award on someone on American secret court which let's remember those of us to call forth potentially the abolishment of that pat power from the goblet because they abused it. So even though they will say they need a financial screen when you abuse it to that level and then again making up text saying it came from a lawmaker as like an instruction to Mark Meadows and they've apologized. His staff has apologize or what you understand. They will be on the back in.

They apologize because they know if they don't think it would be in serious trouble in court, but have you really remove these people it's elections they don't they will have to be the chair of the committee if Republicans take back the house so that rushing this maybe because you know it's very likely this will be dissolved and I think of the Republicans get in. This committee goes up because they've already shown that abuse wasn't a but not like this is not a secret to me then ship staff acknowledge that they made changed evidence which by the way, Stuart said you did that in the courtroom.

You would be sanctioned to go to jail me necessary stuff. Now they got speech and debate privilege that the part of the Constitution to protect, but to make this a basis of a criminal for him and I just think you should you look at this in the entire scope of everything you come up with this conclusion. This is nothing but crass politics and I think you gotta be clear here. We have to be clear, we have seen this playbook before. This is not the first time we had been to this routine. This is been unfortunately pretty commonplace over the last four years. Will they be held accountable see what happens in the election in less than a year, but the fact of the matter is that should not be the basis Harry on a criminal referral. I think that is a prosecution so shift is prepared number one to tamper with evidence for political purposes. So, in my view, and I'm not acting as Mark Meadows's lawyer.

I would recommend that he contests this referral based on the false evidence that a shift has basically introduced number two we had the Russia collusion investigation that was grounded in falsehood, number three, the Ukrainian impeachment was grounded largely in my view and manufactured evidence and number four I think it could be argued certainly in court that Congress is January 6 committee its contempt citation.

For instance, is invalid. Why because the full committee was not seated and so therefore if you now have a contempt referral based on an investigation launched by less than a full committee perhaps and again I'm going out on a limb here. You may be able to challenge their ability to bring any contempt proceedings whatsoever because they are not necessarily seated consistent with a congressional resolution incentive of actual committee looking into the Savior White was there more security that day who could make the color speaker the house to make the call. Why didn't she make the club member who said the National Guard was racist and pro-trump and that but that's not being discussed at all the serious others.

It's not getting text messages shared of legal theories acting as that supported what the writers did so dangerously depressed, has no action to those rights is dangerous to the practice of law that if you get lawyers do opinion in this lawyer was former Department of Defense Inspector General counsel publishes the next day. These aren't secrets but then here's my question.

What actually happens is with this committee. If in fact the Republicans take control of the house yet. I think it will be dissolved Jake. I mean I really do. I think I'd much prefer the reasons that Harry talked about. It wasn't set up on a proper premise and going back to the last caller warrants question.

I mean look I think Adam shifts actions absolutely do warrant his removal from the commission but as Jordan said Jay it's it's not can happen under the speaker. It is up to the speaker who sits on the commission. She's Artie made her decision. She's excluded the Republican she's appointed Adam shifts you know what the Jake.

This is knocking to be speaker next Congress, Nancy Pelosi and I confided to Pelosi Adam ship gets fired to remember that Nancy Pelosi goes Democrats go with leadership. He loses all these positions is now in the minority, and this is about to happen. So that's why the rushing this and that's when they get in trouble because it's like the Russia think is certainly certain. It's like they make it out, and they can improve it and I can't at what is it, what does this tie have to do with the fact that was right. This was just about procedure. This was encouraging a right not criminally contempt over what this mostly messy was the violence that occurred right over a legal theory of procedure above the kit because it can't.

It's likely because I was texting go right right and that's great. That's the problem know everybody thinks office that's become clear in the last 24 hours that Congress didn't have more of its own security, but with the desire of the Sgt. Barnes is that being discussed. Much of this committee because it was a failure. But here, let me let me go a step further. We talked about today. Build back better, which had all those IRS provisions and it looks like that's not going to happen. Then they moved to the voting rights legislation, which sounds very lofty, except it really is another plan to give the IRS more control and including revoking the learnable learner rules the we got in place that stop the IRS ability to target conservatives based on their abuse placed on a people rely on the Bible. Whatever might be that legislations in serious peril. This is all happening right now.

Then you have, they may move to some other legislation involving nominations and Albion nominations but but our teams were involved in all of this I was at a congressional hearing that took place by Zoom in the next studio over walk then into the studio and brought you alive report as to what exactly happened which started this whole pushback on that $600 requirement which would've gotten the IRS involved in everybody's business but the name voting rights act also and all these other ones are all IRS oriented, which is the agency that is the least capable right now of self correcting any of this. So I say all of this just put it in perspective that the American Center for Law and Justice in our offices around the United States and man's team up in Washington are really doing great work and then were able to come to you each and every day for an hour television radio streamed social media because of your support of the American Center for large none of this happens without you.
