Ministration is what the IRS how to fight back now. Talk about this. ~The by ministrations working alongside Democrats on Capitol Hill, attempting to once again weapon eyes the IRS that we had some success in fighting back against this early. Remember, initially they were that provision in the reconciliation package if you if you had $600 or more transactions, your bank account. They would just have access your bank account.

Then there was outrage over that because that was such a small amount over a year. Either they said well what $10,000 in a year, but it's in the year you think about again.

If you if you get paid well and you spend some that money or you move it.

Many had a transaction. Most people who are if you're in the tax system you are you are you got $10,000 over a year moving it out of your bank account and it would allow them without having a court. The court order necessary to just go right and inserts by on your your transactions and your bank accounts, which is what they've always wanted to have the ability to do what you got to push back against these bureaucratic agencies, especially one like the IRS which we said over and over again we believe is is so just mired in controversy on targeting Americans likely targeted conservative Americans this tea party groups.

The ACLJ represented the Christian group that was just targeted by the IRS. Use the D to be Republican. We just try to mislead people that off you believe the word of God likely Republican groups of you know your taxes of statuses out of your you should receive that that was that's recent, but we know that in so while the those $600, a $10,000 provision. We were able to so far. Keep out of the reconciliation package. What we do know is 26. Still, it it passed by the house with the Citadel is $80 billion new body for the IRS budget $80 billion and 87,000 new IRS enforcement agents.

87,000 new IRS enforcement agents with a number of agents in that much money they even need those other provisions to harass Americans that it may be more difficult for them. They may take a few more steps before they can get your bank account, but the taste of those random audits that occur. There's really a lot more. Those 80,000 new agents out the 87,000 new ages that there is to be a lot more random than up with" audits were prepared to fight back the ACLJ against this this power grab by the IRS, we believe that they have it's it's just incapable of self-correcting from time to type again. Now over purity years. They can't get over what they did during those tea party groups and that they still try to do it to groups that are similar situated. They are so opposed to anyone who happens to be conservative.

They don't need an IRS bailout of of 80s 80 billion more dollars and 87,000 new employees. What we need is a conference of tax reform makes it easier to file taxes they think if they are right. If the by the ministrations right that there's there's this lack of of compliance.

I believe a lot of that not all people just try to do the right thing to follow this complicated tax code, but that again make it make it less complicated. You will need 87,000 new bureaucrats to try to harass middle-class Americans that are targeted here is middle-class Americans their target. A high hi orders IRS to see that there there bacon bigger transaction that the IRS is watching that carefully their tax returns are prepared by accountants and lawyers who specialize it. Most people don't have that that had a resource you may be able to like H&R Block like that to help you put it together but you're not getting all this advice to prepare you for potential IRS action is what we do. The ACLJ will develop today's broadcast is put together for you. How you fight back. Now our first fight is to keep this out. This reconciliation bill from passing and we talked to Senators that would affect the longer that was the better their but were ready to fight. If it does we meet the IRS will be to begin, we have to recollect this go unchecked. So today's broadcast will to walk you through how you take on the behemoth of the Internal Revenue Service fight back in with that is what were folks out there that broadcast Puerto Rican ACLJ the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift dollars $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we do.

Simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge today to make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice as is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission life will show you how you are personally only supports publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question for copy mission life today online ACLJ/secularist Jordan secularity or phone calls to because this really was the beginning of the battle against the deep status under the Obama administration. So the battle is that much tougher because you didn't have allies at Department of Justice you have allied your fighting the IRS, the FBI try to go after our clients. Sound familiar. Again, they try to after Mike, they still are Mike Flynn, you know, as President to try the same tactics, but they were working together know you mean that memory, I remember the day Washington DC that we were at our DC office and the FBI wanted to interview some of our clients and we said no, we are no longer cooperating with the IRS were going to court right so the negotiating, there was the FBI was a will.

They were interviewing one of your client because it was any potential wrongdoing they want to get right out of sight. Mike my trust level was zero. At that point was before all this acted 10 years before I recently met with them. We did not let them meet with our clients and we said you know were not doing that we are knocking to participate in this because we think it's a charade they would never tell us exactly what the point was exactly what they were looking at lots and we were not to put our clients in that situation.

So what did we do. We went to federal court. You know, we ultimately got to play this soundbite first and that is the Ira started doing this in 2010. Some talk about 10 years ago, and for over two years, the media thought it was just a silly conspiracy. Barry, this is a bunch of right-wingers. They don't know what they're doing but you know what it ended up resulting in this they use names like tea party or patriots and they selected cases, simply because the application had those names in the time that was wrong. IRS like to apologize for that vote first file we said and I'll say again that apology was not except we went to federal court to get justice.

That's number one number two they they is what lowers learners. She's at a tax-exempt that you mean you you came up with a be on the lookout list, a bolo list. So why would bringing it up today because we see the culmination of the last months of always follow investigations molar in Ukraine and the Russia gate and ends up being nothing what happens each and every time. This is sometimes Congress. Sometimes it's the deep state actors. Here's one where it was not until Pres. was to you.

That's why we named the film, targeting us, the people's fight against the IRS and it's available ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime and by the way, if you go to ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. Look it up. You see a lot of movie several movies by the ACLJ, we want to encourage you we do these documentaries want to live in the same bits and pieces of it.

I hear bits and pieces of it today, but it is definitely worth watching. You learn a lot about what's happening you absolutely mean this is something again. I want to be a reregister playing that some clips are folks close to what I mean just to get a sense if you're listening you're going to get a sense of of what you will be seeing because this is this is visual to but if you're watching Facebook and periscope as well. We wanted to just Give you some glimpse into why because again you I go back is like what I was talking to Sean Hannity about his book and and how sometimes you got it. You gotta take the time to retell stories because there's so many facts over such a long period of time and you don't want to forget because you don't want history to repeat itself and and we don't want to have to continue battling the deep state forever and answer take a listen from the new documentary available@acljfilms.com or Amazon prime.

It's free targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS and guys make sure I tweet out the link right after the show to the dividend to our website so the people you see the film targeting us.

The people's fight against the IRS. Here's a first video clip the opening sequence of the film will slander. Why would you say tea party cases were very dangerous on the advice of my counsel, I respectfully exercise my Fifth Amendment right and declined to answer that question they were breaking the law are violating our rights.

There were some boneheaded decisions known in the last election's mention was the tip of the iceberg was far worse than even we expect the IRS is finally released a list of political groups not something that no believer doing weight, no accountability. Never before has the federal government trying to everyday Americans only their political view that as long as against Lois Lerner was fighting the going to be American is my name is Kevin Wilson and Carol. Now this this this is called DLJ film you want to know about deep state action in a real case and went to real court got a real result. Then go to ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime targeting us.

The people's fight against the IRS and by the way, when you support the work of the ACLJ. Guess what, we get to produce these documentaries were due to documentary on Bronson were working on some of the really great creative content. I can give you the details of it yet but it's something very innovative.

That's it impact your family a very good wax were very excited about that content is important to be ACLJ when you're supporting the ACLJ and ACLJ. Donald especially over a month like this month-to-month matching challenge campaign your supporting our work in courts around the country was multifaceted that this movie is a perfect example targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. The movie was done to educate people about what was going on at the same time. Your donation support was supporting the movie in the production of the movie. Guess what else was happening. We were in federal court, winning the case, which we ultimately did so, that is your take that short support to be ACLJ in action.

We had our clients testify before Congress you would testify before Kaiser we were again this was. It was a Kevin new a step for the ACLJ because what happened was back in 2012. You start getting all these contacts. These are small groups. Again I make the comparison will perhaps thing today or help of these churches and California or parrots with the education issues can afford law firms and can afford attorneys to handle these situations. These are small grassroots groups. Just trying to get their legal status so they could fund raise so they could rent buses so they could get insurance things like click and hold events and do so legally.

They voluntarily submitted themselves to the IRS oversight they were trying to break the law and we started getting calls and calls and calls of dozens of of specific tea party groups and other conservative groups that were being harassed and Ed so that what happened was they were being denied they just kept getting more questionnaires and finally, these groups realized with these questionnaires. This is not the normal IRS procedure.

This is this is directed us were being targeted looks like, so we better talk to some lawyers, so they got to the mayor. Consider flaw adjusted that it be just to spite our people they support the work ACLJ. This was just a load to get to that decision that we read from the IRS.

You have the consent order say they can ever do this again or else it and admitting the wrongdoing rating for satiating their procedures guiding the IRS as the Washington Post called it really change the hope that now people even view the IRS these days, right.

It took five years, so I beat it took considerable financial those donations that come into the ACLJ. This is five years of work representing America go through the list that we have here is a Colorado 912 project, the American patriots against government access San Antonio tea party Shenandoah Valley tea party Patriots Wetumpka tea party. The OKC PIA association with the Richmond tea party Hawaii tea party Rochester to private this this this goes on for two more pages for five years we represented all the slide out in federal court is of you think your donations no matter folks they absolutely do. It is the reason why were able to take down government agencies like the IRS, which we did and why were able to fight so hard against the deep state and really put them under a microscope. What we did.

Because of the work at the IRS, we decided to open up the unit inside the ACLJ. Calder, government affairs unit I'm holding in my hand. The first of the lesson. The first this most recent report that that committee Gibbs on the Freedom of information act litigation in our Government accountability Project. That's just the beginning and I want to tell you something. Your support makes this happen. So again, you use thank you for all of you for standing with us. Let me remind you that this is a perfect month days for you to donate to the ACLJ because we were matching challenge. You may think short of her to say that for let me explain what matching challenge is sick as it goes the entire month of March matching challenge will be of a group of donors were regular donors ACLJ they secretly want to give you a boost month so work so let your donors know what people who might donate no that were here we've Artie committed to matching every single one of the new donation through to see how quickly you can double the impact of your donation by donating today during a matching challenge month and ACLJ only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you are personally support the publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways, your membership is empowering the right to life question for copy of mission life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online ACLJ periscope great numbers that people just reminding themselves about this IRS scandal, how bad it was that what the ACLJ was able to get justice for so many conservative groups and you we got it we represented the 40+ groups who were willing to find out the IRS, but by waiting we really wanted for so many other groups who maybe were a little bit afraid of taking on the IRS weren't sure if they wanted to get involved in a legal matter. We see this time. Time to get the ACLJ were people very gung ho with first about your filing lawsuits and things like that and then suddenly when you file a lawsuit.

A it's a big deal, even if it doesn't cost you anything. So the victory though isn't just for the 41 clients. The victory is for every one of those nonprofits out there on both sides of the aisle. They can't be treated like this by the IRS ever again or else they are in serious trouble with the IRS and the IRS admitted to viewpoint discrimination viewpoint targeting, but it all started with these letters and I want to play for you so share this with your friends and family Facebook in Paris was a great show to share on Facebook and periscope is very visual and is still good for radio to his audios. Excellent this is coming from our documentary set out on ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. It's actually free cut targeting us.

The people's fight against the IRS.

Take a listen because this is how it all started that we will all way through 2011 following toxins we would do the right thing. We want good citizens were trying to help them help us nothing until we get into January 2012 January 2012 I received this letter with a questions and as a first course once we had with them at all and it came out of the blue, where a shock to me. This came in the mail and then I start to read these questions and that's when things really got interesting time.

It was 10 years later we got a letter saying they wanted all this information with a seven-page letter.

We all knew immediately was not ranked letter from the IRS that they will not improve our tax-exempt answer almost 90 questions and otherwise taking out 30 questions 77 seven bullets to 88 different requirements nation from living against the rest of the letter that I got from the IRS. Not only was filled with egregious questions, but it gave me a very short timeline and a window to answer those questions with the paperwork I said I said something wrong and what it is.

I'm not sure what's going on in this is something is wrong. This is not that they shouldn't even be going in this direction on many of these questions. Questions about family members of boards questions about donors and activity beyond just the normal list of donors with their activities and affiliations were as well so again, that is just how it all started those those letters letters about family members letters about donor list low letters about content of speeches we think about this. Vince, do you attend like church and political events. Where do you have a transcript of the speech.

We know this is a very local grassroots of your transcript and a video of it. Even these days for technology it's it's very of this work. Grassroots organization and they wanted.

All they wanted actually in some of the questions they wanted backdoor access to their websites so they could go in and see the the back door of the website to see what was going on, which would give them access to everything the organization done including decisions they made like hey we should be doing this.

This would be wrong. So what's up with this website meet that's illegal to make a decision to say discussions you right now it's up that's what they were. They wanted to see if they could bring criminal charges. You realize that just like they did with Mike Flynn there.

Try to find a way, as we found out that with him emails because got the FBI. The FBI got involved. How could they bring criminal charges, at least against one of these groups, so they'd all back off in the present, Obama would have to deal with is their idea was if we could get one just one case yet. One case that goes criminal. That's in the stop always grew from having any kind of influence will scare them, which is politically motivated. Jordan said in the order we got the settlement basic technology viewpoint discrimination. That is one of the worst forms of discrimination, but like asking for donor list violates the First Amendment United States Constitution, who your relatives spoke with on political campaigns violates freedom of association with elected officials met violates your members met with violates freedom of association. What petitions you initiated violated the right to petition your government for redress of agreements, but it came to a point where we had to get involved and you know it's interesting as well that when you look at the timeline so 2012 have the starts the letter start guy we start getting contacted because of what the IRS did you we went public with this those giant rallies on Capitol Hill would be speaking at with senators and members of Congress and grassroots leaders and thousands of people would show up on this of the sound, the grounds, the capital right for the US capital is being covered by all the news outlets.

Guess what happened in 2014. This backfired on the above administration significantly. Not only did Republicans can't retain control of the House of Representatives. They took back the Senate so for the facet for Pres. Obama's final two years in office. He had absolutely zero ability to pass any legislation but I think it is important that how do we get involved so to the groups. Keep the letters that the ACLJ gets involved yet was going play it for years I had watched Fox News and of course Jay is a regular contributor and guest on Fox News and I had always seen the things that ACLJ represented in the fights that they find for people that are unlawfully present in other countries and Christian groups had always admired him so much.

So Toby had gone through all the work on that one day she caught me and I was at one of the hospitals is working that she's not had any jump on a conference call at such and such time and I might well be on the road at that time that if I'm calling from the car. What makes LJ and I want now. Several of us on their timeline. Paschal left the place is working and headed on home and I'm going and I 35 and I can remember exactly where I was at the conference call started and Jay Sekulow comes on. Coming out of the speaker's in my car was just like he was on the call, but he just listen. He needed saving from like half an hour okay and these worries are common through the phone line from all these people saying oh yeah they want to know what books we were in reporting report work. We wanted to know how many of your board members have ever run for political office and we want their family name that needs their family members. If any of them for political office and we want to know if their plan political office going so well in Jay Sekulow just said right now.

We will represent all of you for this. This is completely wrong. This is something I've never seen this before in the ACLJ is going to stand up and fight for you. In this case and that was a huge relief because until then, we were sure how we can fight back fighting the battles in court fighting the battles in Congress is fighting the battles international courts for religious liberty for freedom of speech, protecting your constitutional rights and again at the time, we believe ACLJ is needed now more than ever. So the matching challenge month we have a group of daughters is rated at every donation that comes through double the impact your donation donate online today and ACLJ.org the American Center for lunch were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 can make a difference in the work we do. Protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most to you and your family.

Give a gift today online LJ keeping you informed and now is Jordan secular the world and world history but is when you don't look back on history repeats itself when you don't remember what happened and socially bad actions they they have it they have a kind of a sense of happening yet again and say accurately exactly what you really because you should look at what was happening. Eight years ago 10 years ago when I met ancient history here either, which I met pretty current modern history. So as you don't ACLJ we represented tea party groups were being targeted by the IRS intentionally put being put on Bolo be on the lookout list by the IRS to silence the tea party movement after they show their effectiveness in the midterm elections before he got to the general election with way. Now Barack Obama was up for reelection. We took on major IRS figures like Lois let Lois Lerner you know that the IRS had to pay out millions to a lot of these groups you know that the IRS had to agree. They would no longer conduct himself. This way if they do if they were suspected of doing so, they already agreed that it was wrong that putting together these groups putting together these lists was wrong but now we got legislation moving legislation like HR want which is a whole lot of bad things in it. One of the bad things in it fan is a total repeal of of of the top of the ability for the IRS actually repeals the law that prohibits the IRS from targeting groups based off their political beliefs.

It does in one line without telling you what is even do it yet. Join him in the call of HR one is a boondoggle. If you look at what happened in the 2020 election. You look at the worst aspects of HR one would really enshrine all of that, not just the states that it Artie happened but in states that had better elections. Jordan would say would have take all those worst aspects and apply them across the country to DC takeover of elections.

It really is. But you're right, this one provision really hits close to home for us because we worked very hard in the wake of that IRS targeting scandal to make sure that it never happened again and successfully got Congress to enact this provision that said you cannot target based on viewpoint, you are forbidden from considering the viewpoint you from using these Bolo list when you consider tax-exempt status. Jordan that's been a part of the law for the last several years. This one line at section 4501 and HR one. It repeals that prohibition. So if HR wanted would become the law of the land the Lois Lerner rule which we've dubbed it would be removed and the Lois Lerner tactic of targeting groups and giving favorable treatment to those who hold one particular viewpoint or another Jordan, that would once again, these can be permitted at the IRS that is not something we cannot allow we've got to get this provision.

If it has any chance the Senate which I think it's an uphill battle. We got to make a richer provisions like that are removed, there's a whole lot HR one, but the fact that they want to go back to a time when they could target groups without fear of losing their jobs without fear of criminal investigation, civil violations, doing away with the quote Lois Lerner rule. This tells you how much they want to silence you as conservatives they know conservative activist groups are powerful and strong and can make a difference. Jordan to do is to play for you is to hear from those groups were targeted first time as a reminder to never let that targeting happen again.

We can fight back. We did fight back. We should never allow that kind of targeting to happen again.

That's over the place.

She can hear from those groups.

The special encore presentation. This is a critical time at the ACLJ to support our work financially at this the matching challenge month and I know that you heard me say that before. If you're a regular listener to the broadcast.

You watch the broadcast. But let me just tell people why who are thinking about making a financial contribution to the ACLJ or and into the work that we do where that goes with you know, obviously. To do this broadcast every day to get this out. Cost cost resources. But, of course, most resources go to fighting the battles of course using our broadcast is important that is fighting the battles in court fighting the battles in Congress is fighting the battles international courts so audit all over international work that we do all over the world for religious liberty for freedom of speech, protecting your constitutional rights and again at the time, we believe ACLJ is needed now more than ever for the matching challenge month we have a group of daughters this rate to match every donation comes through double the impact donation donate online today and ACLJ.the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge every dollar you donate $10 gift $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms online ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission like it will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of weighing 40 years later, planned parenthood's role in the end what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is empowering the right question free copy of mission life today online ACLJ/so when this became more more public, Congress would start asking questions to not just of IRS officials, but all of these tea party group leaders. Now this is a decision you have to make his attorneys. You put your clients before Congress and have them testify because they're going to get nasty questions from Democrats and use that you were really being targeted and try to play it all down and you were trying to really run political organizations that shouldn't get these this status things like that and we said you know what the American people need to know how disgusting and gross. The IRS is acting here and how Bob is been trying to cover it up with holder.

It is IRS Commissioner McKay risk restricted. They go through that for a career form and remember holder initially said with where there is wrongdoing here is criminal wrongdoing were to take action yeah been horses asked was no accident that it was Darius.

Anyways, take a listen though because and watch it to get on Facebook and periscope keep sure this your for the feeling is great visually today on the broadcast is were given UI clips from the documents available ACLJ films.com or on Amazon prime. You look for a search for targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS.

It's free on both ACLJ films.com or if you got Amazon prime targeting us. The people's fight against the IRS. So here we go, taking our clients before Congress and having them testify here in the third floor and hassle free American woman lying there in citizen government forgotten your place. It's not your responsibility to look out for my well-being.

I want to protect and preserve the American people across oceans and risk their lives to become a part terrified slipping away expecting your government, your patriotic people expect this kind of intimidation expect them to be professionals, even if they don't like you are greatly can treat me with some respect.

When I found out I was given the opportunity to testify was a privilege and I was honored to be able to tell the story for 2 1/2 years.

The IRS is unlawfully delayed in obstructing my application for determination of tax-exempt status by using unconstitutional criteria. The types of questions asked by the IRS included asking me to identify the political affiliation of my mentors and then advise the IRS of my political position on virtually every issue of instilling for good measure. I was asked to identify those whom I train and I informed the federal government in detail what I am teaching my students considering that the mission of my organization is devoted to mentoring young people some of whom are minors.

Can you imagine the reaction of the students parents were I to turn over the names of their children to the IRS and to what end is it not conceivable that I would be sued for the IRS threatened to audit the parents of those students.

My failure to comply with the stunning inquiry would result in the denial of my application for subject me to perjury. You understand I mean these these individuals testified before the United States Congress because the rights have been violated here and unfortunately conduct conference takings taking all very seriously to say something about the clients here and to all of them you're hearing from a lot of them today. It takes a lot of willpower. A lot of ducks to subject yourself to federal litigation. Even if you're the plaintiff and they did it and they did because they were concerned about the impact this was it have on their country concerned about their families.

They were concerned about their nation. They were concerned about their communities and the American Center for Law and Justice because of your support for our work is able to not only produce this great film that again called targeting us. The people fighting is the IRS available ACLJ films.com or Amazon prime.

Either way, but also bring you this broadcast litigate the case, start a Government accountability Project. All of this takes place because of our support. The support you give us. So I want to encourage you to go to ACLJ.org and support the work of the ACLJ in our matching child's camping but also let's put back on the screen again.

You need to watch this movie enfolds called targeting us and it's by our ACLJ film team. It's screaming now on ACLJ films.com and also on Amazon prime so we can get it to anybody in the world that has Amazon prime see this movie see the work that our clients did the work that we did the work you're supporting so continue to support the work of the ACLJ wanting to call Jim Hunt from Texas outline three Jim welcome to Jay Sekulow live, you are on the air guys. Thank God for you that you're out there. We all knew this played out with God on my question is what punitive actions can be taken against these departments i.e. Eric Holder to Israel. What when are they going to answer for what they do instead of just giving us an I'm sorry I'm sorry we got an injunction. A declaratory action that also made them change their policies in a companion case that was filed in Ohio that we were involved as well. Our clients receive monetary damages. Lois Lerner does no longer works at the Internal Revenue Service makes a number of other faiths case the IRS Commissioner so people were held accountable and that is but look, I would say this litigation takes time, if any, was here. That's what he would say, takes time to do and remember who the DOJ was the time they were going after their own people as it was holder that we were different. DOJ now that is got criminal investigation. We can do criminal investigation ACLJ right, but Bill Barr turn Joe Barton can start them. And yes, I guess the deep state actors so so it the administration which administration is in charge really comes in the player. We can do so much in the civil courts have great victories there, but that for criminal yes for criminal we get that all the time criminal takes it it's who's in charge. The Department of Justice and that that's it. That's election issue and that's who can hold those people accountable in a criminal way, but you know we didn't just take our clients and say let's go before Congress. We went to federal court folks went to federal court. This was this all the way if you could you like to put together a full strategy using a full campaign legally media, congressional testimony got clients across the country taking on one of most feared federal agencies figure out that the FBI was trying to criminally come after our clients and then saying you know what, no more negotiating or taking you to court, IRS, and by the way the government hates when you take him to court has so many excuses.test.to be in court with a meticulous I can imagine a harder entity to come against in the IRS tell you the IRS is a formidable foe. Often times this is one of most feared government institutions in the US they get your taxes. They determine how much you know. If you go back taxes they can seize your way to all these things IRS can do a lot of power. They know everything about you basically option to pursue them voluntarily took a very brave group of individuals and organizations decided okay let's do this ACLJ we will fight back far right to fight for our recognition and fight for what we deserve from the IRS.

Let's take the court. There was a serious and systematic problem within the IRS that allowed this issue to percolate all the way to the top tax-exempt organization, you had main treasury. There were concerns and reached into the White House and you know and the President present Obama dismiss this as inconsequential, but ultimately the way to handle this was court. You had to be in court to get this resolved. The reason I got into is because relational reason.

The Kentucky nightclub project was formed, principal.

We fell are like to be my that we have a constitutional right that wasn't allowed to go forward and that thanks to the CAC.

Okay, we had a voice. Now that could fight back, shine a light on what was happening. So even if we didn't get what we deserve in the future, organizations may be empowered to stand up and how that force you can't just say were not this to you can't say let them trample on the rights it was time to stand up. The other leaders who did the same rights overlook the reality is, I think that when you're looking to save this movie and I think this is right. This gives you a sense of kindly overviews of the kind of things where we did an actual case that involved not just litigation but involved congressional testimony litigation in federal court, a movie be able to be we put these clients, you know, not just on our own media, but right on Fox news and let me remind you that this is a perfect month, today's perfect to to donate to the ACLJ because we were matching child's you may see Jordan for her to say that before. The people's fight against the IRS and it's free for Amazon prime members, but as were walking you through this and again I encourage you Facebook periscope keep sure the great broadcast this year because visually I think that it's it's it's different than our normal radio broadcasts. We would check against TV quality, but were pursuing a lot of what we do on our real production side of star film side so you take you through cut how this began that the opening getting the letters from the IRS, having the testimony how we got involved, how the lawsuit began but now we want to bring you to kind of with it. When we finally five years into this got the decision from the court and this is actually physical clip because it's one of our clients going through the decision for you. Take a take a listen or watch.

The government has admitted entered into this tree and they've agreed that it's wrong to apply. US laws against any individual based upon their name possessions that they hold provide their lawful positions which are is of course where the issues that weeks that we espoused for our associations or even perceived associations is the first point.

The second point is that the government has agreed that their actions whatever they take in this process must be evenhanded and never based upon the applicant's name their political viewpoint where associations are perceived associations and then the government finally declared our car agreed that discrimination on the basis of our viewpoints that the government administering the tax code is a violation of fundamental violation of our First Amendment rights which we knew all along that the government was denying to treat us differently in getting tax exempt status or any treatment or the tax code based solely upon her point of view, said to have these now agreed and admitted by the US government will provides precedent which I hope in the future will at least hold at bay when someone is tempted to do this again.

They admitted that they lied. She broke the law, you know, and I guess that's the first time my understanding that they've ever admitted in a court proceeding that that they actually did something wrong.

We had things put in place of the wouldn't do it again to somebody else, which is even more important and the most important. That then becomes a precedent for that next group that comes 5 to 10 years now. My nine-year-old when she goes out she can say hey my dad did to see why we did this one for me was for her to couple minutes or talk about this because folks this is really important that you know you what we get so busy and we had so much activity since these cases that you forget. That's why were it's so important to do these documentaries because you want the history of what took place and this again. We could do this without you. So, first, thank you to all of you for allowing us to do this because without your support. We don't get to do this is that simple. That's number one number two look at the result. Now this was congressional testimony, which was extensive. Our clients testified before members of Congress. We then had litigation, which was not done overnight was a lot of hearings a lot of briefs a lot of emotions appeals back and forth. We were successful that it was settlement discussions. You just saw in that clip that we just played from the movie the nature and scope without those settlement discussions which were really fantastic and we got an unbelievable result for our clients, which is an unbelievable result for the country and none of that happens.

None of this takes place without your support of the ACLJ and what I love about this particular documentary. It shows the full gamut of what we do at the American Center for Law and Justice. It shows everything it shows litigation it shows negotiation. It shows congressional hearings. It shows resolution. It has a documentary that explains the entire case and when we have a daily radio and television broadcasts that comes to you from the studios each and every day. The cost of your support for their couple things that like you to do first this weekend or tonight watch ACLJ films.com.
