This is secular as gas prices sky rocket will present it by machine down deep in human form and now you want to hear from you Sharon post, call one 800-6843 11 will know on top of the point.

I got a larger SUV so point where the my destination. My area will be like this cooler problem you spent too much money. Try to drag actual transactions that hundred dollars sometimes limit a lot of your gas stations have absolutes and gas prices skyrocket throughout the country.

I know we will look at the news guy just yesterday and believe in the more you California those areas, you're saying just sick $7.05, six, seven dollars a gallon of so we are closer in the 3 to 4 dollar range of any on what you want but weird thing this people asking is this directly influenced by decisions and we also know there's a lot of doublespeak happening.

There's a lot more going on to talk about that as you progress. It will save you are in the Gulf Coast of Florida. Maybe a more conservative area of Florida not Florida. Florida now has more Republicans, Democrats, first time ever, but maybe more conservative area of Florida. You said even though the gas pumps you have had some playful vandalism. If I don't endorse it, but it was humorous but vigilant, I got to the bottom because there were stickers that were Pres. Biden pointing at the price per gallon portion of the pumps and it said I did this so it ways people are feeling that across the country that that's a humorous instance where people are pointing out that the policies of a President are affecting the economic pocketbook of every day Americans. But while we can laugh at that. It's not really a laughing matter because were seeing record inflation were seeing record prices rise across food industry. We see that the slowdown of the supply chain. Yeah, we lived across the inflation culture this is happening biggest inflation in the years and not necessarily can we benefit to a lot of normal Americans who are having to see these issues. A seductress at the price at the pump. But how that affects even beyond that, there's been threatenings and conversations that happen will about even more pipelines may shut down.

I'm not going to pretend to sit here with you and pretend that I'm an expert in this. I actually know very little about this missing wireless and we got people know a lot more about the economy we got people to know a lot more about that industry were to break it down to think logically. What about how Pres. even impacts this well is a self a year.

Couple years there drug presidency where you are seeing the what felt like the early 90s and the like their late 90s and early 2000's of pre-Obama years which were gas prices. It dollar dollar 50 and all of a sudden I was back to normal now are seeing what felt like again what happened, sort of. About a decade ago, which was when the prices start resting three and four dollars a lot of yes or Mid-America states that I'm still the coast significantly higher in another problem that comes out of this whole discussion, which were to get into.

We got Prof. Hutchison who is a an expert in economic law and we've got Wes Smith who understands the national security implications of having the economy strong or weak, and how that can affect different things, but working to get into that today and also the way that the administration is responding to some of the things questions about how they're handling this shows that there out of touch with what the American people are wanting and needing at this time and working to break it down in maybe what should be done in your local area.

Have you seen this start having not just gas prices but just the inflation heading towards Christmastime really starting to take place.

I'm curious where you are in the country. If you're feeling the same tight squeeze that is happening. A lot of Americans at 100-684-3110, 1-800-684-3110 if you want to be on the air.

This is the time to call once again what 100 684-3110 if we can break down a few questions about all this work that a lot of us do a great time because well what 100 684-3110 teacher commented on Facebook and on YouTube will take some of those as well get will be joined by Mike Pompeo later in the show. Then minute DCR whole cast regulars here. Hutchison Smith will hear joy to me today producer secular now in studio when I host to appreciate the American Center for Law and engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith covering corruption in Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life reports and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you. You forgive today online okay only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the street and what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is powering the right question mission life today online/low phone lines are like that.

We appreciate all you call there are few open 1-800-684-3110 your phone screen a few minutes to get through all these calls are coming in because I was a lot. If you have a lot to say we have a forgiving computer system would get us the whole process so the Dragon just wait. If you're on hold. Just wait will get to just give it a minute here will he restart the segment off with some sound, the people know that were not just talking here that there is some real interesting conversations happening. Mabel kicked bad after this time by the implications of the same right so last week there was a report by politico that the administration was studying the impact to energy prices. If this pipeline I think it's called line 5 would be shut down in Michigan now this is a pet project of the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Witmer. She wants to shut down. She's written op-ed's about it. It has international implications because there are treaties with Canada so it gets very messy and that's why the federal government has to really look at this as well, but it in a press conference. This was yesterday. Peter Ducey asked Karine Jean-Pierre who is the deputy press secretary. She is been giving these daily press briefings while he said the name very well well you know I try and try me. It was perfect. But she's been doing a press briefings while Jim Saki is out and so this is the question from Peter Ducey and then her first answer and then will do a follow-up after that. So first let's go to bike to the cost of heating their homes in the winter will be more expensive this year than last year. So why is menstruation now considering down the line 5 so that is inaccurate. That is not that is not right. So any warning, indicating that some decision has been made again is not accurate, right will Cesar lay this out for you from here where we are at. We are is with this is that Canada has decided to invoke this resolution provisions of the 1977 transit pipelines. We expect that both the US and Canada will engage constructively in those negotiations.

As she did really answer his question is a considering shutting down. She said it's inaccurate then also kinda confirms it by saying that Canada is invoking a treaty having to deal with.

I will say is that maybe is little more to be discovered, but he pushes back. Peter Ducey does.

He doesn't let her get away with kinda glossing over his comment and saying it's inaccurate because you would take issue with that saying it was an accurate display bike for when there's some follow-up line 55 pipeline is subject to Tatian between Ambridge and the state of Michigan.

So again, I would inaccurate what you just stated that the reporting reporting about us wanting to shut down the line 55. She was saying that to shut it down, but that is that is not inaccurate. Just the conversation is happening to shut it down.

Not the plates are made of guarantees, but it's lease on the table so that's what's kind of been the problem with the press shop at the White House thus far is that we're constantly getting told things that are inaccurate.

The reporting is wrong. Your inner this is something that if if it was President trumps pressure out, they would say this is fake news, but what were they saying is, then they end up confirming it many times in the same discussion, so they're not prepared to handle these questions about real policy issues that American people are seeing every day when they go to the gas pump, but then they're having to quickly turn and so they look ill prepared. They look like they either don't care they don't know and that's a problem to show confidence in our administration in our government when they're not even prepared to handle the basic questions people were asking who this was.

Now this is because this assistant is the deputy secretary still recovering from the that's right, Jim Saki tested positive for COBIT and so she's in the quarantine.

She is expected to be the replacement for Jim Saki judges fairly soon. Jim Saki had said she was only going to be the press secretary for the first year and then there will be a replacement she wanted.

She was obviously the press secretary during the Biden campaign and then took this role and said I'm only doing it for a year them to pass it on.

Karine Jean-Pierre is very much expected to be that replacement.

She is not been named that yet, but she is the most out there face when you see used of the Saki out of of the podium used to hearing from her get used to the name and that I want to kick dear Washington DC obviously was known for doublespeak. There's a lot of people talking about sides of their mouth, but when it comes it is just a belly doublespeak just sort of nonsensical words that are coming out of out of the mouth of the Biden administration because it is just again it seemed like a game to apply and talk about it. We did talk about it were not doing that.

Maybe we aren't on the table but not discussed just have to read through it a little bit Logan I mean I would say a couple of things.

First of all to set the foundation and you would be the worst possible time to lose access to a crude oil pipeline becomes at the same time that the President is actually asking OPEC countries to increase production so we clearly need more production were trying to bring it in from overseas and yet it might be a time to consider shutting down a so-called domestic pipeline, but let me let me explain something to our listeners. Here Logan and I think there probably Artie get this, but let's just say, hypothetically, the ministration was going to set down shut down this pipeline. How would they go about doing that to Logan they would have to comply with a process that process would start with the Army Corps of Engineers engineers doing a study to assess the economic impact of that will what are they doing their doing that study right now, so they are engaging in the first step of the process that if carried to its completion, but wouldn't do it would shut down the pipeline. So that's what the press secretary said there Logan.

She tried to say in a way that statuses were not gonna do it, but they have initiated the process of shutting down a pipeline that's just what had what happened in Harry we look at this and we know as people point out sometimes the hypocrisy that the Biden menstruation walked away from putting a hold on the pipeline. The Nordstrom to pipeline which is Russia and Germany's big pipeline so he's fine with them getting energy for their people. But then here there in discussions to deliver a victory for Gretchen Witmer in in Michigan who wants this pipeline shut down at a time when were seeing the prices across the board. Record inflation. What impact economically. Does this have to everyday Americans when there even putting out there that there studying how this would affect things. I think it will have a massive impact on American so we should keep in mind that the Biden ministration first decided to shut down the Keystone pipeline then gave permission to Russia for its Nordstrom to pipeline. Meanwhile, in the United States. Inflation is exploding. Energy costs are rising and energy costs are a substantial component of inflation. This policy by the Biden administration shutting down pipeline to, or at least considering that in the midst of a gasoline crisis is driven by the grind would delete's disdain for the common folk mixed with a high octane jet fuel of theology and moral superiority. This is so because climate change has become little more than a secular religion on steroids or billionaires and the organizations they control.

So, meanwhile, guess what the common folk. They have to pick up the costs so the Biden administration. I believe is prepared to see an acceleration in fuel costs that will cost jobs that will drive up the prices of goods.

Keep in mind we have tanker ships off the coast of California. They are burning fossil fuel.

Also, we should keep in mind that 60% of the electricity generated in the United States comes from fossil fuel.

So at the end of the day.

I think the Biden administration is confused and incompetent and they demonstrate that on a daily basis you brought up that it's become sort of a set like a religion of some form lease had to.

Here, there was the whole big climate event that had a landline and you had everyone's out there. All the big names regret the numbers of people are out there giving there. She leaves without their mother disagree with her on a lot of things instead carefully you know what, this is a big show for a lot of these people and is much as I don't agree with her point of view. I also don't agree with the theater of environmentalism. I believe you.

Environmentalist do everything you wanted to replace your straws, do all those things totally fine with I'm not disagreeing with you believe you have convictions. Why don't have time for his people who talk a lot, which is what she actually claimed just this is just a lot of blah blah blah blah which there is really disagree because I think these corporations in the government and really get into it then was to break down fossil fuels and you want to talk to me west about how that could work in the military. A lot of this. Let's go deeper into this guy think there is some hypocrisy that happens because it looks good. It's good PR for PR to shut down the pipeline.

Good PR that they were going all electric vehicles to get by with. I may have electric vehicle or preordered electric vehicle moving forward regardless, but I think there's a lot you great hyperbole that comes into his mother's early Acuras really get into that gives a call to know about state of affairs in your area or committee questionnaire, related disability audio probably do. I want to treat 684-3110 lines open 100-6431 10 only one.

A society can agree the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you personally. Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the street and what Obama care means to as many ways your membership is powering the right question mission life today online/American Center for Law and engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those faith covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life reports and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this or that. We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help way you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ work. We simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms. Most beautiful gift today online okay play by pretty early on the back off of what present hundreds of headset so let's take it as a professor Hutcherson was saying that you know there's a disdain from the elites and that, especially with the religion of climate change in this whole narrative that they constructed, but the secretary of energy.

She was on on Bloomberg news. Just a couple days ago and was asked about this energy crisis of this is a cabinet member whose tasked with this her entire bureaucracy is built on energy policy of the United States and so he asked a very interesting question about the increase in in you know energy prices and gas prices and her response shows the out of touch nature of the administration perfectly summed up in one bite. So let's go and play by 14 in Sturgis, Michigan. It is $2.89 a gallon.

I guess that's better than in California. What is the Granholm plan to increase oil production in America is hilarious that I imagine you know, of course, is a global market.

It is controlled by a cartel. That cartel is called OPEC and they made a decision yesterday and they were not going to increase beyond what they were already planning. So flooding energy crisis is funny to our secretary of energy, clearly ridiculous to react when that moment. Let them eat cake and this is insane and it is the climate craziness has become a religion but prices climbed last month.

6.2%. This affects little people.

The average American like you and me at the highest increase in one month and 30 years in Biden's own Bureau of Labor Statistics is the biggest part of that increase oil and gas. That's what's causing you note prices to go up, you'll all for heating homes in the north and northeast went up 12.3% in October alone and whenever he talks about closing down the pipeline is not just about about the price of gasoline is jobs we closed on the Keystone pipeline over a million people were put out of work immediately. There will be more put out because of downline five and yet he's not a monarch, but Pres. Biden is acting like he is a monarch. Let's go ahead and take phone calls go to Anita in California your line 3 and you are only here what you, I am going back to work. A major concern that we need to call so they can be heard concern in general that we talk about this. All we want, but what can really be done. If you're an average American. Where were decisions made. Where do you see you deal with us at the ballot box. Are you there actual action items that can be made well and that's one question I would I would push the fan because right now were hearing the rapid speed at which the Democrats are to push forward their social spending bill at a time when people need. They need relief from, whether it be the job market craziness whether it be there craziness in the whether it be the energy crisis that were facing the supply chain issues that we have the American people need help now. They don't need these theoretical social spending plans. That, in the words of the deputy press secretary will transform and be transformative when they need is an administration that has a policy focused on today and so plan is it job. The job of people like our organization and people contacting their representatives to say hey we need DC to focus on today, not the theoretical. Yeah, I mean America needs to get back to work well and ingested the bottom line they do and located that's part of the reason that secretary Granholm's comments. There are so offensive, it's literally her job to do a couple of things on these very issues.

Number one.

I guess it's fine to develop alternatives. Logan spoke to this just a minute ago.

It's a good thing to proactively seek new sources of energy and constant belief constantly be looking to the future but will she's also has an obligation to recognize what is producing the fuel for our economy today.

Harry reference the 60% of homes are heated by fossil fuels, and if we have just a moment. I actually would make the case that fossil fuels have demonstrably been a moral good. Over the course of human history.

I think it's an indisputable fact but to your point specifically if they're going to focus on a social spending bill that will just bring more dependence on the federal government rather than recognizing that we've got to both increase production domestically and make sure that our sources to be able to access it through things like pipelines from Canada and even importing it from overseas will. They are going to exacerbate the problem. They have to recognize the realities of where our energy sources are today and how those directly derived drive our economy absolutely likely a Colorado native just said you know that she's noticing that the prices are skyrocketing gas and look for someone who also agrees with you. By 18 I know she's be harder things like emotion you want out of your present matter. Later things are harder and harder and harder to handle. No kidding people are saying that everywhere you saying that whether you're the employer trying to find people to work earlier saying the employee doesn't have enough money to pay for the gas of the food put on their table and you are saying that gas, groceries and red singly harder and harder to handle those are kind of the three essentials and he's not wrong. I agree with Pres. Biden with that statement that gas go to groceries and rent the prices and costs seem to be harder and harder to handle. Here's the problem they're spending all their time focusing on the climate summit in Scotland or or pushing forward a social spending bill that will address these very issues and after the elections last week in Virginia. The very close when in New Jersey referendums that were passed in Michigan. All of these things were a rejection of the way that the administration is trying to push America forward in a different and non-conservative way for sure yet more percent progressive way and instead we have the present saying this, but he's not doing anything to do that and then brought up something that a lot of people maybe this is new cycle takes you forget this, of course.

Earlier this year we had the hacking of one of the major pipelines that through everything in the chaos or the other is good to be a gas shortage having to pay like a ransom to get it unlocked. It does show up, and the vulnerability of the system is pretty it's pretty much there yet. I think it opened American's eyes, Logan. I really do. I mean, I think they saw that at a moments notice.

If there's an interruption in supply chain, or even just a temporary drawdown you might not just experience higher prices you not my not be able to get gas altogether any night.

I can tell you here on the East Coast. We had to do three days Logan where it was very, very difficult to find a gas station that had gas. What I got. Eight. A very small farm operation. I can tell you right now. Today I make sure that those CAT scans for my mowers in small farm equipment Logan they don't run dry and I can address the fact that we don't have another interruption will panic and go get gas and you can't blame them when you know this stuff can happen a lot. The personnel don't go get gas so cascading effect because you get concerned because again we see the infrastructure fails multiplications but we have a half-hour coming up for the work of ACLJCL J.org we have a magic challenge going on right now will discuss more of the work of ACLJ. Later on Mike Pompeo coming up the last segment shows estate to that about 25 minutes.

He'll be joining us. Until that we give another half hour of your guess on the local station broadcasting live right now on YouTube on Facebook and on ACLJ.org we do a few phone lines open and was waiting on hold as well.

164, 31 to earlier than we usually do. Even when 100 684-3110 American central and critical issues at home and abroad time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ keeping you informed and now is you suck you back to secular the slogan were talking about a lot of issues, mainly energy gas in the gas prices skyrocketing in inflation. The tapping over this holiday season, particularly when the worst times could be happening for a lot of people that we allow phone call. A lot of people are, right now, jumped 1 of those real quick before the end of this segment was first a little shorter. So let's take one of those costarred with Kevin as a truck driver zapped online for I want him hold to log structure we respect them. Your there work to do on ACLJ and I pray for your fault you I was just encircled Ohio about a week ago to get Bill all and they said they'd have fuel there for two days. There were shot down with you all know you all and I know in Kingman Arizona. The pectorals only allowing truckers to get 60 gallons of fuel at a time and it takes usually hundred $50 fill your tanks yeah so that's that's very hard on your your job I can imagine leaving about your average commercial car, probably a 15 gallon take good SUVs get 30 gallon taken the time of these guys up 240 and had to stop every 60 gallons that's that can change the word about the supply chain is prices were high because you are more you're having to. It takes longer for things to get places its it's not an instant thing filling up 140 gallons unit takes ads time to the delivery of things it adds cost because you're hitting different prices in different markets it just the whole thing.

We think of the supply chain issues. We think of the ships out in the sea that can't get support because there's labor shortages.

The offloading of those containers but it's not just there with the supply chain issues or hitting hiccups. It's hitting it with this energy crisis with the ability to get the fuel even at the gas stations where they need to fill up.

So it's not just a we see the images of the offshore boats waiting and think that's the supply chain issue, but it's throughout the entire infrastructure of the nation of trying to get goods and things delivered and that's a very scary place to be. And if the administration isn't able to focus on it in the appropriate way when you have the present site.

Now we know this is happening. It is no longer a theory or conspiracy or potential happening at tapping everyone submitting it. We all know we all see the prices go up.

We all see these issues and it can't be moved to a political point of view. I feel like we've we've reviewed were beyond now right and left.

We have to figure out a solution and Wes brought up a good point during the break that just a year ago the United States was energy independent. Absolutely. Now were begging for more from OPEC and interstate are less far as refusing to increase production which would lower the prices we were completely energy independent. One year ago, not needing to import any oil or for the American people and that were totally dependent on OPEC. This is craziness writ large.

And I think there are actually three things coming together that present abide in his administration seem to be oblivious to other than I think there's this elitist mentality is exhibited by the energy secretary that they do not understand what the average American is struggling with the addition of their three things coming together. Inflation which is out of control highest in 30 years.

If people can afford to buy the things that are used by their fuel prices when in January went by and took office fuel has gone up since the end of dollar and 37 ago, the national average is 59% increase in fuel and then the supply chain you take inflation, fuel prices, the supply chain put those three things together and we are on the verge of a crisis and it appears based on projected policies like we talked about with line 5 that the ministration is totally oblivious to the convergence of these issues. Crisis upon the crisis upon the crisis that sadly we've been kinda dealt with the last 24 months or so it seems like I can't catch a break in America but some of the decisions. Sadly, may be of those in charge phone lines open and here's the deal really take a lot more. This calls the excitement we typically do with rerouting up show Mike Pompeo.

The end usually tickles you want to call it. This is your last opportunity want to know how things are looking your part of the country and your thoughts on this Gen. 100-684-3110 if you want to right now on Facebook share this with your friends and also gives call as well. What 100 684-3110 like and subscribe to the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life reports and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this or that. We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you today online okay only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you personally. Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the street when Obama care means many ways your membership is powering the right question mission in life today online/helping to start the feeling that I wasn't there but I heard stories of the Jimmy Carter era of the 70s where President come out and say statements like these, it put on a sweater. Turn the thermostat down to conserve energy. Do these things because we had somebody problems that doesn't sound like something you'd hear from the President by then. I now use a we learn our lesson but you know it's been long enough, because again I went there I was giggling about 10 years later, but I heard the stories I felt those stories you're always told as a kid, even a blip in the bottom and the buydown said that Carter era of America, which had a bit of a Soviet field rail, but there is a place to help right because our our system is built upon government for the people and by the people where we have elections and if the the content or the policies of an administration are failing or not delivering to the people what they are supposed to be delivering there is an opportunity for change we saw in the Carter years. It was a drastic shift from the Carter presidency to the Reagan presidency and a reversal of a lot of damaging policies. There is always hope in America that that things can be changed and that it is not an authoritarian nation where you're never getting rid of that leader and adjusted all that back to say we still do have an administration for at least another three years that are implementing these policies. Harry, do you see any sort of potential for them to see the light and maybe start delivering on these things, especially when they're having poll numbers where the approval rating according USA Today, Suffolk University are his approval of the Bard ministration just 38%. When I start listening well I think the Virginia election has sent exactly the wrong message to the bike ministration.

You would think that if they were rational they would reverse some of these left-wing policies. I think many people expected, but instead what have they done they have doubled down on their ideology, their commitment to progressivism green energy and they've also doubled down on their commitment to incompetence. So you have Michigan Gov. Witmer and Joe Biden driven by this incompetence. They now seek to shut down Michigan's pipeline five in the middle of the gasoline and energy crisis.

They don't seem to recognize what a 12-year-old recognizer switches. If energy prices go up, then cost rocks. It drives up inflation and in addition to that many people in the north eastern parts of the United States.

They risk freezing to death, but what is the Biden administration done by Pres. Biden has said well it's a problem there is absolutely zero urgency and quite uncomfortably the Biden administration is equally blinded by its own decision-making process. So here we have the deputy press secretary denying a published media report and then having to contradict herself essentially in the same sentence. 36.

So in addition to incompetence in it. In addition to ideology there blinded by their own contradictions and I think the American people are in for a very bumpy ride going forward and I hope the American people will take object lesson from this and that they will react in 2022 of the phone with tech communities because we can the same mix together the next segment really joined by Mike Pompeo and I'll take up that all segments of Scriptures. Many of these weekends go in order to bid on hold to Pam in Illinois line one year on their all on her for elaborate running our country because our country has survived because They are trying to take us to the socialism, which destroyed the country and make that two men on that government. I believe that's what they wanted. They wanted this story and make it dependent on the government supported you washed it is hard not to believe sometimes that when all the predictions start to come true within a year. All of the doomsday scenarios that seem to be conservative talking points all start becoming reality and we start sitting at the earliest. Since at the gas pump yeah and you know Logan. I think maybe the only debate in Washington, even from the left on what Pam had to say might be the label. I mean, some might not like the label socialism I'm some might like a different label but John Logan there's a pretty universal agreement on the left that there they are in favor of sort of the benevolence of government that they do want the government to play a big role in the lives of daily Americans that you know a wide social safety net have a big strong well-funded government programs.

So again, they may not put the label socialism on it but I don't even think they would dispute the idea that they do want the federal government to play a bigger role in the lives of everyday Americans than I think is wise and so when you start trending this direction and then you come back with real problems that that creates in the in the answer from the secretary of energy is I can't do anything about that Logan.

I think that's what makes people upset. You said you want to control and now you said you can't do anything about these problems were facing eyes keep going Eric in Minnesota line to your there are here with the audit done for my last fall I will hundred dollars a day to fill my truck up.

I am now $200 a day and two dollars a day to fill your gas at double what you plan double double what I paid you.

This is why people have in you, the crisis that are happening throughout society. You are expecting a year for their cost of living is his expenses to just double. So again sad state of affairs at Wheatley hated phoria hopefully there's stuff that can be done.

I know this is not heading into a time where that's an easy study, especially towards the end of the year, which is like nothing can get into Pam's point before their there is an argument that could be made that there are members of the progressive left that are pushing big items in this trillions of dollar reconciliation bill that the vote on as soon potentially is Monday that they want those costs to double they want filling up to be twice as expensive so that when they are planned for relief is past of spending trillions of dollars in energy then you can feel a sense of relief not because it should have been that way, but because they forced that upon you to think that way. But it's clearly what's happening.

Let's move on. Continue on Steve Pennsylvania.

You're on the air, thanks for all that you do not appreciate you support and thanks: quick comment. Let is back. The hatred syndrome. Anything that will trot country that was good.

That matter was good because Donald that it didn't belong there. It's been removed from the program absolutely that label seem to haunt them and do things regardless of how that changed what happened in Afghanistan. What happened in Israel. What happened throughout the Middle East. What happened now with this situation. If it had a whether good or bad. If it had the President from name on it I Harry, they were willing to undo it for the better or worse of the country. I think that's correct.

So what we have is a knee-jerk reaction by the Democrats.

If Cronk was in favor of it. They were appose so with trump favored energy independence. If Trump favored confronting the Chinese directly, then the Biden administration made a knee-jerk great reaction to that and they backed away from good policies. Why, because it had the trump label on it and so if you go back to the earlier caller who South Phillips were costing an additional hundred dollars per day. That is roughly $30-$37,000 per year and so if you run a small business if you operate a truck at a trucking enterprise that is a huge huge cost but in Washington DC they don't care yet. Let's jump quickly out of take this call quickly from Glade is calling a line 1 or so oil company good like a minute. I want you to explain what you just explained to our posterior. We deliver people to all small companies, truckers, construction people, whatever, and we have a set margin.

It $0.30 on the gallon. It doesn't matter whether price is a dollar 99 or $3.50 which paragraph there a fair price to run our company higher the price goes, the less we can depend on that Martin because everybody shop and or their use in the last or their doing whatever they gotta do and it hurts us just as bad as it does the pipeline more money to get it delivered as well. Your costs are going up even to deliver the product exactly yeah so it's a no-win situation is the oil companies alike sit there, rub their hands together you secret little village labs.

This is not going to tell you this is affecting them just as much in getting getting delivery doesn't really change their bottom line. It's unfortunate luck we come back the next segment will talk about a new blog. I like Pompeo easily joined the live so stay tuned for that. Thanks again for your support. It ACLJ.org on this election day Americans voted for common sense.

I was he referring to the election that happened last week in Virginia, and even a close call.

That happened in New Jersey sector. Pompeo wanted to just get your general thoughts and obsolete felt about the blog but on your thoughts. Last week was a pretty celebratory week for a lot of people it was and it was more than celebration. It was good news or across America. Parents will begin to reclaim their central understanding of what it is better to school we thought Minnesota. We thought common sense prevailed at work at the fund, the police, like the radical left wanted to like my home state of Kansas. The school board met incumbents who lost because they they have lost their way. It was it was around the country people walking away local ideology did document divide the rising cost of living in higher taxes and defending our police a good day state of the American people secretary Pompeo you bring up the rising costs of living in the higher taxes and something we've been talking about on the show for the past hour now is, specifically the reports that the administration are looking into shutting down line 5. This Canada and Michigan pipeline which, while were already in in the energy crisis in our country that they are potentially exploring things that can make that problem even worse. How dangerous is it to our infrastructure.

Someone who has obviously served in the capacity as Secretary of State. You know the needs of our country very well how dangerous could a move like this be when were already experiencing an energy crisis in this country really dangerous to talk about it because markets responded that gastritis reflect the cost of the product makes no sense I'd let my people to ask about common sense it makes absolutely no sense that that direction to deliver more energy while denying Americans the capacity to do it in a way that will be in if the environment your thing, it will become a lot more cleanly here in United States to shut down the pipeline to not be able to transport good American energy to create American jobs and provides affordable natural gas for people to keep their homes this winter. This is crazy stuff. I hope that common sense will prevail about administration so far on energy policy, which the caller seems like a lot of those doomsday scenarios that maybe conservatives put forward. And some people said were acts of fiction were works of fiction that this is how things were going to unroll.

They seem to clearly be happening. You do wonder why the common sense that you're talking about whether you like the fact the markets control of the so it's you how it's talked about the price, how people react with their laughing about it is referred whether there's a President by going out there.

Even defeated saying yeah we know it's good to be tough. You would think that the common sense of philosophy and this would not be 200% essentially take authority and take the blame for what's happening when this is exactly the scenarios that everyone said were just doomsday scenarios. The conservatives were were running were often were often mocked. The basic economics 101.

If your single mother trying to raise two children, three children, somebody tell you that that cost feature on the shares go up five or 10% are Catholic gas in your car to get to work is going to cost 15 2025 more percent than it did a year ago. This is real. This is not picture this is made up by some right wing cabal. This is the reality that people are experiencing. You can see across America that they've had about enough of this silliness. They didn't expect Pres. Biden would cover in the shadows of the progressive left. That's what he had done so far and to close down this pipeline. This incredibly important time and to deny America, the capacity to deliver its own energy to its own people at an affordable price is just really bad for the average ordinary, everyday, hard-working American and secretary Pompeo last week you had an article up@aclj.org, which is if people haven't gone and read these pieces there there very informative and very great that we have secretary Pompeo on the team and putting forward this great information, but it was that by the by administration's focus on climate change continues to undermine American prosperity was the headline of this one and it was talking about the Biden team in Glasgow for the COP 26 conference and when when you put together what our professor Harry Hutchison of our team calls almost the religion of climate change when they're unable to see what needs to happen in the country because are so blinded by this devotion to the climate change ideology. Is there hope when someone has almost a religious conviction to this password on their climate change policies. It is there hope for them to understand the common sense of what the American people need to irrational your description of the having replaced the religion.

I think for many in the climate change movement that is absolute, secular secular. They have adopted this vision. It is hard to reason with them, but it's not hard to reason with most people all across the country who may well believe that we need to do something about carbon reduction so be it. We have a chart a clear pathway towards that if we think that risk is there, but you you cannot shut down the very fuel the correct class.

The coach's job agriculture industry, the fertilizer industry or the plastics industry. Everything that the kids wear to school as a petroleum fossil fuel component to their basic needs for the American people and to drive that cost ever higher in the massive reduction in their pay every week, every month, and it really changes their standard of living and jeopardizes so much food security here in United States.

If we think for a moment that allowing pork or chicken or beef to go up by 1015 20% won't matter to these kids are being living in homes where every single dollar counts. Wesley yeah I think it's interesting to how our foreign policy, international security policy is part of this energy issue as well. I think it's interesting that Pres. Biden has begged OPEC countries to produce more, all to bring the price down.

They refused to do that. In the meantime we see Saudi Arabia really engaging with China and backing away from the US and oh by the way, we removed our Patriot missile batteries from Saudi Arabia and were not resuspended. Some of our weapons contracts their own defense. And yet we wonder why there backing away from us, you see any play between those issues are deeply connected to rate the really point when I was one of the most tool that I had diplomacy was American energy country that wanted American elegy. They didn't want to from the Russian they wanted it for me that's a subject of the Council at another Biden walked away from that, they walked away from our important partners at the Saudi bodies in the Middle East in ways that are unconscionable. This will put America at real risk. It will force them to make really difficult that it reduces security for us right here. I will appreciate you spending the last segment with us Pompeo as we wrap up today show and appreciate everyone to take you to everyone who's listening and one who has engaged all you called it our crew.
