Breaking news the US military has the fire warning shots in Iranian Revolutionary guard vessels in the Persian Gulf and the first time in more years doing today are very own former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former acting director – intelligence live from Washington DC for your questions right now.

1-800-684-3110. Your host secular or five years and you may remember a number of occasions where there were these altercations. I thankfully didn't get there was the one that led to our troops being held kidnapped of the Obama ministration. These other altercations between our vessels in the weather will the Arabian Gulf Persian Gulf. You could pick the term based of what country you're talking to at the time but but a lot of people does Persian Gulf because the Persian Gulf war add that she you remember there be times where the Iranian Revolutionary guard fast boats would kind of cut off our vessels with its Coast Guard vessel Navy vessel they would cause he's kind of a situation to get reported because they are they are there close cut their dangerous right there. You have to take maneuvers to get away while it escalated again. Remember, this happened last week. It happened again earlier this week that we know the report is at the US vessels had to fire warning shots so the it's being it's escalating right now in the Persian Gulf is a very dangerous situation for our sailors to be in because again these are boats that are cutting them off and we see the footage of it. You can see the images of it were taking that now the next step which is firing weaponry, which is a warning shot course anytime your fiery weaponry. Things could escalate their ER very quickly. This the first time it's had to be done in four years. It happened once in the early years, a present from 2017 right had happened since then and under abide we see the altercation last week about the need for the use of force this week and that's while they're trying to negotiate and get back into the JCP away the Iran nuclear deal now. The last time a Navy vessel filed a warning shot in the Persian Gulf in an incident involving Iran was July 2017 when the USS thunderbolt fired a warning shot off of God towards an Iranian Revolutionary guard warship.

Interestingly, regulations that were issued last year. Now give the Navy commanders the authority to take lawful defensive measures against vessels in the Mideast that come within 100 m or 100 yards rather of their warships now that's the idea that the command has the authority to fire is significant Wasi of Col. United States Army retired because that gives the on ground while the emir in the sea commander some control over the destiny that they don't get picked up and be taken captive exactly at this and this is really a force protection issue is a call in the military is of the commander of the vessel has the inherent right of self-defense and think about these warning shots.

They come both in 17 and the ones that happened this week after the Iranian fast boats refused to respond to bridge to bridge radio traffic. They refused to to change course, even when they blew an alarm whistle saying you you are in our way. Get out of the way.

Only after those two things.

There is no response to the fire warning shots. This is a volatile situation.

I think it's a very volatile situation.

It's a situation where again have these competing interest in them really get into this with Rick rebels during his next then Mike Pompeo back to back live on on secular radio.

So what would you have to look at is a situation which is I think again on the one hand you have is a reef saying oh I wish that that audio wasn't released to all those people, the liberal media who said hey why you believe what the Iranians are putting out. No one thinks that the Iranians put out that of the reef talking to his collie. He's caused a lot of domestic conflict affected Betty Presidential election coming up in June. He was a rumored potential candidate. This may have throw that off already. I live during the break by the legs and went on tour. Barbie was on Facebook were going yeah I actually could hereby support the work ACLJ week until until the end of this week until Friday or matching challenge until midnight the end of April. Double the impact your donation ACLJ.org that ACLJ.org acreage donate today. The critical time. So much of our work right now all over the world. ACLJ.org. Be right back on secular the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in or matching challenge make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you and your family. You forgive today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stay with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn gold mission will show you how you personally support publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications. 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the worship ministry and what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right question. A free copy of mission life today online/secular. We are joined right now by our senior advisor, financial security for policy record now and we got a lot to talk about with Rick. I want to talk right off the bat I Rick this escalation in the Persian Gulf between Iran and US forces. We've now had to take a situation where there were these reported incidents but but no shots fired.

Now warning shots have been fired by the United States for the first time in four years only happen once under the Trump administration early on in 2017 that happened it what it felt like fairly often under the Obama Biden years and here we are back again with this release of the pay this audio to the New York Times and now again Iran taking aggressive action against our troops and in the way the waterways they are your thoughts all my first thought about the waterways. Thank God that the Americans have to get take care last about the waterways simply because we've had this explosion of our own energy sources. Liquid natural gas were trying to get off Middle East oil, which is fantastic frustration. We really made huge progress there.

But make no mistake when the Iranians pick fights in the region with us or our allies.

The Americans have to respond To make sure that they understand that interesting enough, though, there's this growing sense in Europe that America is withdrawing from that region that we are carrying last than we have in the past about violations in the Straits, and so the Europeans I think I'm getting a lot more concerned with saying that with some reporting from the intelligence agencies out of Germany.

Yeah, I want to talk about that when Rick because German intelligence agencies specifically out of the state of Bavaria. Your course were our US ambassador to Germany so you know the situation well. They have issued a report that says the Islamic Republic of Iran has not ceased is not a shock but now it's confirmed it.

Strive to obtain weapons of mass destruction during 2020 and they quickly talk about proliferation with North Korea Syrian Pakistan, limiting what had me the most concerning probably experienced it firsthand.

And that is the Iranians cheaper strategic ally in the Middle East is has bought. We know that Iran is a proxy for Haslam and her head was a proxy program they had reported 30 members in Bavaria and 15,050 has more members across Germany now this was an outlaw is now deemed an outlawed group in Germany. They're not there for good purpose.

What is happening there. Get a little perspective. Bavaria is like Texas it's conservative part of Germany and its government little bit independently, like a state and the Bavarian intelligence services are very good.

The fact that this reporter from the Jerusalem Benny Wiesenthal Benjamin. We all got this information is really good.

I would instruct people to follow Ben when he lives in Jerusalem.

He said American any adjournment, and he's really really I have to say that this is very concerning.

But one of the big things that I German intelligence is that German politicians really don't pay attention to it. There's not a system where there regularly brief.

It's up to the German intelligence services to get really aggressive with bond horsemen and politicians to do something, there isn't a system in Germany where the politicians automatically get briefed and listen and react so this report should be taken very seriously by the Western alliance. I would go to Harry Hutchison just found what he said because he reacted as soon as you said that Rick the back. If you're not listening to their own intent will be in the states intelligence reports kinda tells you where your says that absolutely sober elites that lead the European governments are all too willing to Craven lady capitulate to Iranian aggression and to reward Iranian aggression and Iran remains an international threat, particularly in the realm of both terror and weapons of mass destruction. I think at the end of the day. This reflects European antipathy toward the nation state of Israel. I Rick I see your comment and go say he's exactly right. We have this problem in Europe specifically with Germany that politicians somehow are afraid to get briefed on intelligence. They feel like it's dirty ER or to detailed or just things that they should be dealing with a leading up to the intelligence services, but the intelligence services they basically just come to the Americans and British others, and so were left to do. Being the inner agency of the Americans are for European governments we have to go to people like Chancellor Merkel and go to individuals in the German government and say did you see your own intelligence reported nine times and they say actually I hadn't seen it and so we don't bring it out and say Hezbollah's living amongst you, and now you're exactly right Jake has bought is outlawed in Germany and so they have the tools they should act quickly.

They should arrest these individuals.

The rest of Europe should follow it with this is that the question is will they take that kind of action which we when we confront them with the Intel so they try to ignore it. Then we confront them with the Intel do they take the action immediately. Your time there. Like if they found out about this terrorist group herself. They designated them as part of has about you Hezbollah terrorist group so they got there. As you said the tools to do it the power to do it but will they or is it all eyes on money and deals with Iran to be a great ambassador as you just totally nailed half of my jihad that Germany, which is you can present on the information you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink and so usually what they do is they say will need more information to get this and then we get stuck because we can't reveal sources and methods so I guess it comes down to this. The Iranians are obviously up to no good. While they're trying to negotiate with us United States to get back into this nuclear deal which they're never going to follow and then they go after they circle the more trips you go ahead and that Europeans know exactly the point is that the Europeans understand. Remember that when the Europeans give their statement on Iran. We share the same goal with the Europeans that Europeans always say our goal is to deny Iran a nuclear weapon where we differ is on the tactics how aggressively to be. Europeans want engagement, we feel we tried engagement engagement doesn't work or getting do when we continue with engagement because now the Israeli locker information that was uncovered by the Israelis. We know the Iranians lied to John Kerry about the number of centrifuges about the activities of the places that they were all that was a lie and we built the Jason POA on the assumptions that we had because the Iranians told us something, it boils down to John Kerry trusting the Iranians proven over and over.

What is your thoughts on this whole situation with John Kerry that's going on right now and he is on the national Security Council so he's got a high ranking position within the bite administration nursing. Of course nothing.

They're circling the wagons to protect them. Meanwhile, he had Sarah got a tape was releasing all John Kerry told me about Israeli covert action that was taking place is not the first time there's lots of evidence John Kerry has been doing this undercutting of US policy since he's been out of office. It's outrageous that any trump administration official did it.

Now they would be hauled in by DOJ.

Here is my reaction today where is the department of justice will they're doing other things. I made that admits not a priority is not a private listener. Elections have consequences when it is not a priority. Guess what this kind of stuff happens, we should be worried.

We should be concerned for our troops that this kind of situation.

Rick and I ran with it with the warships took place just a few days ago that has to have Americans concerned and there needs to be an American reaction atop reaction so that the Iranians know that the bite administration is not weak, I Rick Burrell Senior advisor to American Center for Law and Justice. We appreciate your analysis on this, especially on that the German side of this. You know it better than anybody or the US ambassador, Jerry, thank you so much. Alright folks, this is exactly why your support of the American Center for Law and Justice is so critical you get inside information on this kind of operation of the Intel world. I know a lot of you write sport organ ACLJ. This is an area the pride very interested in and you don't get that kind of information it was you talk to people who've done it at Spencer careers in as investors and that in the intelligence agencies and trying to work with Intel. I think what Rick shares each day that he's on with us is something that is new is something you never heard before. For instance the fact that in Germany you have these various intelligence agencies. Some state run, not all part of the federal services. The politicians there don't like consuming the Intel so often times, the US is taking the Intel from the Germans to the German leaders and having them push them to hear that kind of information and explanation of how this works, why it works the way it does. You are learning as we are dealing with current events heard of incident that impact the United States of America. This is why again you support the work of ACLJ just heard from Rick without team members ACLJ bike pump is about to join his team member of the ACLJ support our work@aclj.org double the impact of your donation. You have until Friday at midnight to do just that nobody today ACLJ.org that's ACLJ.org will be right back on secular only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you personally support publication includes a look at all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists.

The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the history and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership is powering the right question for copy mission in life today online/American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you today online ACLJ secular oh and we are doing now that we enjoyed our senior counsel for global affairs of former secretary of state Mike Pompeii was at our offices in Washington DC their studio there, great to see you as always, I want to get your thoughts immediately on this escalation we saw in the Persian Gulf between the US vessels having fire warning shots of the Iranian Revolutionary guard vessels hadn't happened since last I was in the early years of the trumpet ministration 2017 is a big four years since we had seen this kind of escalation between the US and Iran great to be with you and that it's unfortunate because you can see that what we've been saying that weakness begets war and peace comes from strong deterrence is already starting to manifest itself. Iranians are clearly testing this administration. They did the same thing to us. We responded by making clear to the Iranians that was unacceptable for them to put their ships their weaponry and positions that could put our Marines, our soldiers are sailors at risk and we communicate that very clear to them.

They responded by saying we hear you, and then their actions on the ground demonstrated that as well.

It's unfortunate that already. This ministration has shown sufficient weakness right even while even while the negotiating the end of their sitting Coast Guard cutters to challenge and threaten our ships hope this ministration is able to write this out there able to make clear that you and I can attack an American soldier sailing and I can put their lives in harm's way.

We talked about this the other day, Mr. Sec., and that was this whole situation with Sarah for the release of the tape about you know his conversations with John.

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly was going on between John Kerry and Sarah but I think the American people have the right to know at this point, here's my best thing I think secretary carries probably best position to explain but let me give you my theory might.

There is a secondary care believed he could signal and communicate to the Iranians that if they could just hang on. The maximum pressure campaign would be released that if they could hang on if they could keep the regime intact and acting in the way that it is been acting for all these years to come.

January 2021, things would be very different in your thing that play out saying the leverage that we created for this administration being squandered thrown away offer no benefit to American security in Vienna. Having these negotiations will give billions of dollars to the Iranians and I think they had signaled this. I think that Sec. Gary had greenlighted what that what has happened and I think he was telling them this all along that undermined the maximum pressure campaign. You can imagine driving down the road you may be at a gas and you find in offramp, but if you think I can just hang on a little bit longer I'll get cheaper gas down the road. I think that's what the rating sign they were able to hang on in spite of the fact that we took over 90% of the foreign exchange reserves away and over 90% of the crude oil revenue away. They were determined to try and make it to January. The election went the way that they hoped it would go. And now they are reaping the benefits of that back surgery Pompeii on this. I did why are we on the right accepting this leak in an and from the Iranian could be Iran tried to play with the United States but I think this is this leak really weakens their fates. It shows that he's and he's now had to put out statements domestically inside Iran to try and end make good on this is put out videos of Subramanian because he was very critical of the Revolutionary guard and this I don't think it's it's up Iranian propaganda that the scout release but I'd like your thoughts on that thing for ministers reef at any intention of this meeting. Police the way he spoke he clearly believe this was a conversation that would remain private and could be that others in the Iranian leadership that military folks. RGC maybe one of them got a hold of a copy and decided to release it to undermine the reef, but let's be clear, J. Jordan cerise never been an important player in the rainy environment is always been a sideshow. He's always been the guy who wore nice suits spoke perfect English and traveled to the salons of Brussels in New York and met with East Coast establishment elites and elites of the foreign policy committee in Europe is a happy face on a terror regime. If you never been talking to him.

We should've never had negotiations with them were negotiating with him and his team again in Vienna. Given what he said about his fecklessness, his inability influence a rating policy. Why on earth are we sitting with uranium Foreign Ministry where we not talking to the radiant decision-makers if it's the case that we want to change the way you deal with Iran united. Of course they were writing Revolutionary guard doesn't report to the President of Iran.

He reports directly to the babe report directly to the supreme leader, the Ayatollah you are in Congress last week with the maximum pressure act that tells what that's can it do past. It's real simple and applies the demands that elicited in May 2018 that I elicited in May 2018 there simple 12 demands behave like a normal nation in the United States will recompense you is that you will begin to deal with you on commercial basis and will bring you back into the community of nations in this this with Wisconsin to law the sanctions regime that we put for this ought to be bipartisan. No one should unsanctioned the tears up there still a terrorist that will put the sanctions regime into US law.

It will make clear our expectations of Iran and I hope it will do so in a way that is bipartisan.

I know there are Democrats who don't want Arends genocidal incentives in Israel. Its desire to wipe Israel from the face of another. Democrats who share this concern with Republicans hope the sign under this legislation would prevent this administration from undoing all of the good work that we did during our four years in the middle of hundred percent money change gears a little bit weak. There's patient did. It's up@aclj.org dealing with religious freedom, is a central issue, not a side issue in foreign policy, we are this week I been spiraling a series of was called universal periodic review with the United Nations highlighting religious persecution in countries around the globe. I think coming from you as former Secretary of State on how important that is for us to be engaged in that but to speak out for these people.

I cannot speak out for themselves. This is really important work today. The workday sale date as there is really central to helping the US government understand what's taking place in these pockets around the world where Christians and frankly people of all faiths are being persecuted. We will we lifted this issue. It had been a back burner issue. Frankly, for Republican Presidents as well week we made it a real priority because we understood that that only is that the moral thing to do to ensure that every human being has the right to practice their faith as they see fit, but really matters for American security as well. Nations that have more religious freedom capacity for multi-multifaith nations to get along with each other and not break into ethnic or Aetna religious strife. If we can get that religious freedom component right there is less risk to the United States as well week we had it as a priority.

I regret that this administration is putting the green new deal ahead of religious freedom. It will, it won't redound to the security of American that's what were doubling up our efforts at the ACLJ to get this word out on this and file the necessary documents with the governing international bodies for secretary of state Mike Pompeo thank you for being with us and thank you again senior counsel for the ACLJ your insight and knowledge are invaluable. We appreciated your support for the ACLJ allows this to happen to have a former Secretary of State is a senior counsel to the ACLJ for global affairs. This is a big deal. It's a big moment for us at the ACLJ but it also gives us some real depth and some real experience. Your support makes a huge huge different that what you're getting information again because of our format of our broadcasts.

They were able to really have these conversations and were able to carry a month through the week couple times a week and and really get inside the news know you care about your concern about Iran.

We know you're concerned about Iran states, Israel, for our security. Our troops security of the world, especially when you have these reports looking at their still working on.

No surprise, but try to get a weapon of mass destruction that would threaten not just Israel and our other allies in the region. But Europe and ultimately the United States so were able to bring in these experts support our work double the impact of your donation today@aclj.b), the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the world protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ live from Washington DC, a secular take your phone calls to pack the broadcast.

What hundred 6031 10.

That's what hundred 684-3110. So, if you will join us down with your thoughts. It's what hundred 64 3110, but just to recap, so where do we start out today show.

It was at the US after the first time in four years and set a fire warning shots and intense encounter with Iranian vessels. This between our US vessels in the Iranian Revolutionary guard Corps that same IRG see their foreign minister complains about as they really run the country. He has no say you just heard from Mike Pompeo take care of his aside player just a pawn to put out the United States but don't tell John Kerry that Hotel Joe Biden that don't tell this our current US administration that they think you know if he speaks, he speaking on behalf of the Islamic Republic. But what we now know is that he is more in the dark that a lot of our own officials on what's happening inside his own country, which is no surprise. The country that doesn't have a free press doesn't have a real efficient use of very close watch on him because he's in the US so much to make sure he's not doing anything that they would find objectionable, and he's a face because he happens to speak of very clear English and like we always talk about the coffee, the tea, Mike Pompeo, since the salons of Europe is what they love to be an end and they did to chat and talk about diplomacy, but actually getting anything done that is that is beneficial to the world that something very different. What comes after a warning shot, though that's aggressive the United States Navy had a fire warning shots and Iranian Revolutionary guard naval ship. So what Col. Smith what comes after a warning shot that is the last thing that happens before you fire on the vessel and again as we said earlier, this followed the US missile tried to arrange contact bridged bridge radio, no response from from the rain and then an audible warning on the loud whistle.

Note no change of course in the arena vessel in the warning shot, and after that the only only recourse left is to fire the vessel and you do this the safety of your own crew because no were talking about 60 to 68 yards.

Think about the length of football field just more than half of the football field. These US vessels a huge vessel you can't stop quickly, you can't turn quickly. Your there to protect your vessel protector crew.

So after the warning shots of this won't happen.

Here's the thing that would be very regrettable, acute real dicey if you start shooting at the reigning boats but on the other hand, these are not little ski boats Iranians are using their armed with automatic weapons and are armed with antiship missiles and Andy we said this earlier.

The first segment and clear violation of international law. Urine international waterways maritime law protects that international right of passage protects that the Iranians were provoking soon. Not only is there a violation of war powers basically but also international law is a violation clearly of international law were in international waters. When this occurred, the Iranians had no right to approach the American vessel the way they did in a threatening manner. The American vessel responded properly. But again, it illustrates that the supreme leader in the Revolutionary guard and was a relief to the extent he has any power which I don't think he has any whatsoever are absolutely oblivious to the parameters of international law and the dictates of how civilized nations operate in here we are sitting down Indiana having the associations again with them trying to bring them back to the table on the JCP LA when they have no intention of Bob regarding it as anything but a piece of paper, it way if they get back into if we get back into this deal with the Iranians. So, wherever, whether it's in Vienna, whether it's in the Straits of Hormuz, wherever it is, the Iranian government today, led by the ayatollah is a terrorist regime which has no respect for international law and they show this in connection with the encounter that we just talked about in the Arabian Gulf folks relax. Talk about to give you an opportunity to weigh in here to pack first segment with a record now that Mike Pompeo back to back Mike. There was an officer. Washington DC and Julius that studio so I encourage you to call 164 3110 but most importantly is weak entry to the final half of the week. Remember, you got to Friday at midnight to double the impact your donation. It's a matching challenge, but we got a group of elders will match dollar for dollar. Every everything with donated in the month of April. So you got the opportunity to take $25 donation double effect ACLJ the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those faith uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes $20, $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous tape or matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms. Forgive today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stay with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Washington Street what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is powering the right question free copy mission life today online/secular to your phone calls would hundred 684 31 to the 2063, 110 deal on YouTube or wise, a story not been covered by any major news networks November New York Times broke this they broke it and then there was this escalation inside the Persian Gulf. We now see the statement from the reef for really the Iranian audience trying to trying to explain away this conversation where he is attacking the Revolutionary guard, which is a big no-no inside of Iran in the lead up to and Iranian election for President in on June 18, where he was actually considered a potential candidate someone to be the face again of the of the Iranian government, even though that President is very weak when there's ayatollah and that ayatollah controls a there there biggest branch of the military, the Revolutionary guard score and the guard or doesn't side that is not responsible to the President of Iran but to the to the ayatollah now with with that with this happening. The reef's political chances don't look as good inside Iran, which means we might be looking at another hardliner so someone more similar to Oxford.

It is God less like Ronnie has been quietly happy, they're all hardliners were talking about is going back to the time of that the opposite is God types you member can a rhetoric that they spewed was very hard the level of public executions was up extensively. They were watching who they were. As the Islamic Republic and I think there's note, no question about that in. I think one of things that Mike Pompeo said was we have. This is kind of like this dual view and he called Harry B said the beliefs of race you like to use often like meeting in the in the salons and having tea and coffee but you don't get real policy, but now you got an irate Islamic Republic. That's radical already picketing become more radicalized while trying to do a negotiation with them while they're going after US Naval ship and the US government has incentivized the Iranian policy, so this is the first shooting incident in nearly 4 years, and so when Pres. Klopp came into office.

American America's enemies knew one thing that there was a new sheriff in the office now. Americans America's enemies realize a brand-new thing.

There is a new social worker in the Oval Office and so essentially the Biden administration is encouraging Iranian aggression Iranian terror Iranian threats on American ships and so it's really sad to note that members of the American State Department are negotiating with the arrangements they are sitting in cafés sipping espresso while American ships are being threatened and this is simply a self inflicted wound that places American soldiers in harm's way and part of what makes our negotiations with the rancid, difficult and potentially so dangerous especially when it comes to nuclear weapons is you really do have sort of a divided government. If you will, at a real level and ran. You have that their parliament basically and their President and who are more or less figureheads the real power lies with the ayatollah, NA, and then he controls the Revolutionary guard Corps, which is totally separate from the Iranian military so that you it's unpredictable what they will do on any given day. It would be really unpredictable as to what they would do with a nuclear weapon. There are basically two schools of thought and ran one in this is represented largely in the Revolutionary guard Corps is they don't want the JCP away, they would agree with many Americans on that that they think it's flawed. They have no intention of keeping it. They don't want it. The other side in a ran represented by the more of career politicians is that they wanted but they perceive the Biden administration is being weak so that they believe if they negotiate from a position of strength. If there hardliners if they even attacked US vessels or harass US vessels that somehow or another the Biden demonstration is so weak and desperate your deal that they will come to the table and lift all sanction so those two schools of thought and a ramp make negotiations a lot more difficult and I was thinking. Also you and I've seen firsthand how Mohsen Jordan has two Hamas and has blind action on the borders in Syria, on the borders of Gaza and Iran works with both Hamas and has belongs to initiate differences there make no difference to the Iranian regime and their exporting of terror. Now we have been actually under fire J if you remember we were up in the goal and I and had to run for protection from Hezbollah fire so I mean we have been in the in the forefront of this and these are proxies for ran. These are proxies for the ayatollah visit practice for his elite SS which is what the Revolutionary guard is analogous to, in my opinion, and so the real power. Here is the Iranian ayatollah and his elite crew and near. We are presuming to negotiate with the person's or even his group. As I said in Vienna who don't have the power but I agree with what Prof. Hutchison said, we are enabling through the exercise of a pusillanimous week policy feckless policy toward Iran. We are reversing when Pres. trumpeted and showing them that there is a weakling in the White House someone is willing to camp out to their aspirations for for the nuclear weapon which I predict they're going to get because that's the way it's headed. And they don't realize and a lot of people don't realize how much the Trump administration did in portraying a position of power with respect to the Iranians in the Middle East generally is how you get through to them. I'm no doubt that the Iranians are going to try to get a nuclear weapon or developing nuclear weapons. I also no doubt that the Israelis and the allies in the region now will not allow that weapon to come to fruition, but I'm crime perplexed, politically torn and what Joe Biden's administration, President of the United States is thinking while while they take these overt acts of the US Navy or Coast Guard and then they do this there very academic. They they think they would check list and they think that that that that success is okay you know the first hundred days do we do this do we do that, it's all about it. We will get back into Iraq and one of those checkmarks is getting back into the Iranian nuclear deal, just like with the checkmarks was the Paris climate record take check that box to check the Iran box is a lot of box checking if Iran knows that knows that by this administration just desired to be able check this box somehow claim a diplomatic victory. A real diplomatic victory is getting a goal state like the Trump administration was able to do in the Abraham records to recognize the Jewish state of Israel's sovereignty and to get wood to a peace agreement and economic agreement trade agreement.

Any tours of Agreement Allow Ave., Saudi Arabia allow commercial Israeli aircraft to fly over Saudi Arabia. That's real dealmaking and the media had to report on. This is not this deal is not a real deal from the from the last time is not a real deal. If it happens again. This time, what it does is it empowers the hardliners inside broad because it opens up resources. It provides the body money is and how they continue to hold onto power units interesting listen with Sec. Bullington had to say that this is unreal about the leak of the Iranian type these these things were so secret that they were all reported in the press at the time so it is utter nonsense is really unfortunate that people continue to try and play politics with this.

We still don't know when this conversation happened yes or no, we don't know if there were the press reports rather not. But second, when he's not even know about what he's not addressing is why are we engaged in negotiations with the guy who was so in the dark guy who was so low down the totem pole. He doesn't deserve Abby to say this, but having frankly to be even speak to our climates are. He's not high up enough if he did know, and it lets a week of right it was in the news, but he so guarded by what he's able to see, even though his travels the world he doesn't that this is this the ideas were not dealing with power makers inside of Iran organization in the killing of we killed the power makers inside of Iran to embody and there hasn't really been an emergence of a real there are people that have taken that position but not like him lack of playing nine dimensional tent to play with with with basically the lowest level they got a big deal there one guy that they send to the English-speaking world for show as much is anything else I think of the position of Foreign Minister to a President does have the power because as a religious dictator right lays out military reports directly to him right so you need understand what you got know what are we doing about well, we can't dictate foreign policy of the United States that would be inappropriate. We can do is engage international bodies including the United Nations as violations of international law, we can notify we can get the information out and we can also write about it.

We can also take legal positions at various international bodies.

This is not many organizations in the world that actually appeared multiple times for the international criminal Court in the Hague.

The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online okay hello I covets to on Facebook and Twitter is a pack show today already because we were joined by Ricker now my part payable better faulty peers with ACLJ talking about this Iran issue which I think that the why we saw that bleak and there's why we keep seeing this, they don't like Iran being in the news for any reason other than if it's there deal. So if it's German Intel on Hezbollah and they're looking for a weapon of mass destruction.

If it's the having the fire warning shots with even the by administration and authorize you that that whatever the rules of engagement and maybe they've changed. Maybe they haven't had time to change. Maybe these were the Trump rules of engagement that haven't been altered yet by the bite of his fish because you heard from my company heard from Ricker now that are our troops have been cut no longer under the Trump administration was the site is yet to be taken Captured I could be kidnapped by the by the Iranian Revolutionary guard taken to Iran like what happened of the Obama years. They hate the stories in the news they don't like that. I'm sure them at the New York Times tried to spin that what it says to me is this totally play kids hit his top the top or she would speak to would be the reef. Abby is his counterpart in Iraq.

What we learned from the recently because he is he's nothing. He is he is a he is a low-level figure who is kept in the dark on for policy on military decisions has no power and is just a vessel for Iran to put in US universities and go have tea and coffee with John Kerry, but also it it's supposed to be. Is it who are we to your making the deal that with the devil himself.

Because if if the reef and the bodies of the world have no power whatsoever, which they don't think about the execution of the Olympians of the wrestler you know that that they don't they don't have any answer on that. They say that the judiciary have no role that we really has no role anything you actually dealing with is Beecher making a deal with the Islamic Iranian Revolutionary guards Corps, which runs terror groups to attack. Also, Americans just so one on the YouTube is a great question is that wonder what this will do the Israel and US relations moving forward. The bind administration does nothing and keeps John Kerry in his position to play both sides of the fence and I think I'll start level at every writeup of this out with Randy. I think the reality is we've done negotiations bilateral trilateral negotiations in Israel. I just can't see the Israelis allowing this to just proliferate.

I do not see the Israelis allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I just don't. I said this before. Unfortunately in Israel has to do, the United States, his dirty work because Israel has to survive the holy state of Israel has to survive in the way that they do it is that they show the forest and the determination and the persistence to protect themselves against the Iranians that the United States does not do for itself and Israel is going to be the last bastion against Iran as though I were going with the truck with the Bible administration right now and that's a sad commentary J Harriet from a policy perspective, I mean at this point with the Iranians wanted the JCP away Iranian deal.

They were working on nuclear weapon. Europe knew it they did nothing about it. They still want to deal and now we're falling into the same trap.

Absolutely. And I think this still reflects a deep-seated dislike in my opinion for Israel. Remember John Kerry said to the Israelis that the that Israel can be either a democratic state or a Jewish state, it cannot be both. And so I think the John Kerry's of the world who would like it was a sea Israel as a Jewish state disappear and become a purely secular state, and so as part of this grand scheme in the mind of John Kerry and members of the State Department. They are willing rerunning risk of Israel's future and they are willing to make a deal essentially with double with respect to Iran and allow Iran to perhaps gain a nuclear when we probably get by. From years ago I remember the bike though. Boy do I remember it. They said you could be there Jewish state or democratic state. You can't be both.

And that's an shockwaves through the Israel's allies are supposedly from the states Secretary of State but they also note the Iranians were willing to engage militarily against the US warship that they're in bold and they really are they perceived the bind administration as being weak and among the elitist in America and some of the politicians and bureaucrats in DC there is this anti-Israel sentiment J that really edit scores anti-Semitic in there. So there against Israel, and so you have what Mike Pompeo said so so well on Fox News and that is while he's briefing Pres. Trump about Iranian activities in the threat of a ram. John Kerry apparently is briefing Iranian officials about our ally, Israel. Let's play that by my choice. So I was briefing Pres. Trump Gary briefings Ralph on intelligence that related to Israeli operations. I hope that's not true.

John Kerry needs to come for secretary care needs to speak to the American people explain to them why he was meeting with the reef. We know he did that he is admitted as much again. I think that were there to keep trying to misdirect that to the fact that in that members of Congress are looking at the bottom of this to. They want to misdirect us to think that the only time this possibly could have happened is when John Kerry was Secretary of State.

We know what John Kerry was doing because we filed a FOIA on the job. Kerry was engaging in shadow diplomacy with the Iranians and with others potentially during the Trump administration and so they did what misdirect and say all of this.

I Secretary of State and I do which is worse, they're both bad.

But if you were doing it outside of your role Secretary of State without any authorization.

I you are are really serious.

You could be in serious trouble. The problem is we have a DOJ was hurting the other other way of all of these issues that looking at any of the Intel issues and looking purely domestic issues.

It's it's gone.

It's very similar to what we saw the Obama years where you basically of the civil rights division plays important role inside the DOJ that the only division inside the DOJ, but they are running it right now you and I think that's right and you and your former DOJ official and you you work with the is a view of the stimulus attorney look at its Atty. Gen. set priorities and he set a priority here while priority is certainly not John Kerry or the violation potentially of some various laws and I'm not just talking about the Logan act. I'm talking about the espionage act and other things that is obviously not the Atty. Gen.'s priority. The priority is to do something else and that said by ultimately, the bind administration and Joe Biden himself is ultimately responsible for what is administration does or doesn't do and that includes the Justice Department. After all, it is a unitary executive, and Joe Biden sets the policy and call the shots and they're not being called I in a way that called John Kerry to account. Are they know they're not. That's good for the broadcast day to meet tomorrow to discuss the state of the union because Joe Bynes given that speech tonight.
